Genesis 50
1 And he fell Joseph on [the] face of father his and he wept over him and he kissed him.
József pedig az ő atyja orczájára borúla és siránkozék felette és csókolgatá őt.
2 And he commanded Joseph servants his the physicians to embalm father his and they embalmed the physicians Israel.
És megparancsolá József az ő szolgáinak, az orvosoknak, hogy balzsamozzák be az ő atyját; és bebalzsamozák az orvosok Izráelt.
3 And they were completed for him forty day[s] for thus they were completed [the] days of the embalming and they wept for him Egypt seventy day[s].
Mikor negyven nap eltelék, mert akkorra telnek be a bebalzsamozás napjai, siraták őt az Égyiptombeliek hetven napig.
4 And they passed [the] days of weeping his and he spoke Joseph to [the] household of Pharaoh saying if please I have found favor in view your speak please in [the] ears of Pharaoh saying.
És elmúlának az ő siratásának napjai, és szóla József a Faraó házanépéhez, mondván: Ha kedves vagyok előttetek, szóljatok kérlek a Faraónak, mondván:
5 Father my he made swear an oath me saying here! I [am] about to die in grave my which I dug for myself in [the] land of Canaan there you will bury me and therefore let me go up please so I may bury father my and I will return.
Az én atyám engem megesketett, mondván: Ímé én meghalok; az én síromba, melyet Kanaán földén ástam magamnak, oda temess el engem. Most hát kérlek, hadd menjek el, és temessem el az én atyámat, azután visszatérek.
6 And he said Pharaoh go up and bury father your just as he made swear you.
És monda a Faraó: Eredj el és temesd el a te atyádat, a mint megesketett téged.
7 And he went up Joseph to bury father his and they went up with him all [the] servants of Pharaoh [the] elders of household his and all [the] elders of [the] land of Egypt.
Elméne azért József, hogy az ő atyját eltemesse, és vele együtt felmenének mind a Faraó szolgái, az ő házának vénei és Égyiptom földének minden vénei.
8 And all [the] household of Joseph and brothers his and [the] household of father his only little one[s] their and sheep their and cattle their they left in [the] land of Goshen.
Józsefnek is egész háznépe; és az ő bátyjai, és az ő atyjának háznépe; csak gyermekeiket, juhaikat és barmaikat hagyták a Gósen földén.
9 And it went up with him both chariotry as well as horsemen and it was the company numerous very.
Felmenének annakfelette ő vele szekerek is és lovagok, úgy hogy igen nagy sereg vala.
10 And they came to [the] threshing floor of Atad which [is] on [the] other side of the Jordan and they lamented there a lament great and heavy very and he made for father his mourning seven days.
Mikor eljutának Atád szérűjéhez, mely a Jordánon túl van, nagy és keserves sírással sírának ott. József pedig hét napig gyászolá az ő atyját.
11 And he saw [the] inhabitant[s] of the land the Canaanite[s] the mourning at [the] threshing floor of Atad and they said [is] mourning heavy this for Egypt there-fore someone called name its Abel Mizraim which [is] on [the] other side of the Jordan.
És láták az ország lakosai, a Kanaán népe azt a gyászt Atád szérűjénél, és mondának: Keserves gyásza ez az Égyiptombelieknek. Azért nevezék azt a helyet Ábel Miczrajimnak, mely a Jordánon túl van.
12 And they did sons his for him thus just as he had commanded them.
Aképen cselekedének azért Jákóbbal az ő fiai, a miképen megparancsolta vala nékik.
13 And they carried him sons his [the] land of towards Canaan and they buried him in [the] cave of [the] field of Machpelah which he had bought Abraham the field to a possession of a burial site from with Ephron the Hittite on [the] face of Mamre.
Elvivék ugyanis őt az ő fiai Kanaán földére és eltemeték őt a Makpelah mezőnek barlangjába, melyet vett vala Ábrahám a mezővel együtt temetésre való örökségnek a Khitteus Efrontól Mamrénak átellenében.
14 And he went back Joseph Egypt towards he and brothers his and all those [who] had gone up with him to bury father his after had buried he father his.
És visszatére József Égyiptomba, ő, és az ő atyjafiai, és mind azok, kik vele fölmentek vala az ő atyjának temetésére, minekutána eltemette az ő atyját.
15 And they saw [the] brothers of Joseph that he had died father their and they said if he will bear a grudge us Joseph and certainly he will repay to us all the harm which we dealt out to him.
A mint láták József bátyjai, hogy az ő atyjok meghalt, ezt mondják vala: Hátha gyűlölni fog minket József, és visszaadja nékünk mindazt a gonoszt, a mit rajta elkövettünk.
16 And they commanded to Joseph saying father your he commanded before death his saying.
Izenetet küldének azért Józsefhez, mondván: A te atyád megparancsolta nékünk az ő holta előtt, mondván:
17 Thus you will say to Joseph we beg you forgive please [the] transgression of brothers your and sin their for evil they dealt out to you and now forgive please to [the] transgression of [the] servants of [the] God of father your and he wept Joseph when spoke they to him.
Így szóljatok Józsefhez: Kérünk téged, bocsásd meg a te atyádfiainak vétkét és bűnöket, mert gonoszul cselekedtek te ellened. Most azért bocsásd meg azoknak vétkét, a kik a te atyád Istenét szolgálják. József pedig sír vala, mikor ezt mondák néki.
18 And they went also brothers his and they fell before him and they said here we [belong] to you to slaves.
Járulának pedig ő hozzá az ő testvérei is, és leborúlának előtte és mondának: Ímé mi a te szolgáid vagyunk.
19 And he said to them Joseph may not you fear that ¿ in place of God [am] I.
József pedig monda: Ne féljetek: avagy Isten gyanánt vagyok-é én?
20 And you you planned on me harm God he planned it for good so as to act as the day this to preserve alive a people numerous.
Ti gonoszt gondoltatok én ellenem, de Isten azt jóra gondolta fordítani, hogy cselekedjék úgy a mint ma, hogy sok nép életét megtartsa.
21 And therefore may not you fear I I will provide for you and little one[s] your and he comforted them and he spoke to heart their.
Most annakokáért ne féljetek: Eltartalak én titeket és a ti gyermekeiteket. És megvígasztalá őket és szívökre beszéle.
22 And he remained Joseph in Egypt he and [the] household of father his and he lived Joseph one hundred and ten years.
József pedig Égyiptomban lakozék; mind ő, mind az ő atyjának házanépe. És éle József száz tíz esztendeig.
23 And he saw Joseph of Ephraim sons of a third generation also [the] sons of Makir [the] son of Manasseh they were born on [the] knees of Joseph.
És látá József Efraimtól harmad ízben való fiait. Manasse fiának Mákhirnak is születtek József térdén gyermekei.
24 And he said Joseph to brothers his I [am] about to die and God certainly he will visit you and he will bring up you from the land this to the land which he swore to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob.
És monda József az ő testvéreinek: Én meghalok, de Isten bizonnyal meglátogat titeket és felvisz titeket e földről arra a földre, melyet esküvel ígért meg Ábrahámnak, Izsáknak és Jákóbnak.
25 And he made to swear an oath Joseph [the] sons of Israel saying certainly he will visit God you and you will bring up bones my from here.
És megesketé József Izráel fiait, mondván: Mikor az Isten titeket bizonnyal meglátogat, vigyétek fel innen az én tetemeimet magatokkal.
26 And he died Joseph a son of one hundred and ten years and people embalmed him and he was put in the coffin in Egypt.
És meghala József száz tíz esztendős korában, és bebalzsamozák, és koporsóba tevék Égyiptomban.
