Genesis 48
1 And it was after the things these and someone said to Joseph there! father your [is] sick and he took [the] two sons his with him Manasseh and Ephraim.
यी कुराहरू भएको केही समयपछि “हेर्नुहोस्, हजुरका पिता बिरामी हुनुहुन्छ” भनेर कसैले योसेफलाई खबर दियो । यसकारण तिनले आफ्ना दुई छोरा मनश्शे र एफ्राइमलाई आफ्नो साथमा ल्याए ।
2 And someone told to Jacob and he said here! son your Joseph he has come to you and he strengthened himself Israel and he sat on the bed.
जब “हेर्नुहोस्, तपाईंका छोरा योसेफ तपाईंलाई भेट गर्न आएका छन्” भन्ने खबर कसैले याकूबलाई सुनायो, इस्राएल आफै बल गरेर पलङ्गमा बसे ।
3 And he said Jacob to Joseph God Almighty he appeared to me at Luz in [the] land of Canaan and he blessed me.
याकूबले योसेफलाई भने, “सर्वशक्तिमान् परमेश्वर कनान देशको लूजमा मकहाँ देखा पर्नुभयो । उहाँले मलाई आशीर्वाद दिनुभयो
4 And he said to me here I [am] about to make fruitful you and I will multiply you and I will make you a company of peoples and I will give the land this to offspring your after you a possession of perpetuity.
र भन्नुभयो, 'हेर, म तँलाई फल्दो-फुल्दो बनाउनेछु, र तेरो वृद्धि गराउनेछु । तँबाट म जातिहरूको समूह उत्पन्न गर्नेछु । म यो देश अनन्त अधिकारको रूपमा तेरा सन्तानलाई दिनेछु ।’
5 And now [the] two sons your who were born to you in [the] land of Egypt until came I to you Egypt towards [belong] to me they Ephraim and Manasseh like Reuben and Simeon they will be[long] to me.
अब म मिश्रमा आउनअगि मिश्रमा जन्मेका तेरा यी दुई जना छोराहरू मेरै हुन् । रूबेन र शिमियोनझैँ एफ्राइम र मनश्शे मेरै हुनेछन् ।
6 And offspring your whom you have fathered after them to you they will be[long] on [the] name of brothers their they will be called in inheritance their.
तिनीहरूभन्दा पछि जन्मेका सन्तानहरूचाहिँ तेरा हुनेछन् । यिनीहरूका नाम पनि यिनका दाजुभाइहरूले पाउने हकमा सूचीबद्ध गरिनेछ ।
7 And I - when came I from Paddan she died on me Rachel in [the] land of Canaan on the journey at yet a distance of land to go Ephrathah and I buried her there on [the] journey of Ephrath that [is] Beth-lehem.
म पद्दन-आरामबाट आउँदा एप्रातमा पुग्न अझ केही टाढा छँदै कनान देशमा राहेल मरिन् । मैले तिनलाई एप्रात अर्थात् बेथलेहेम जाने बाटोमा गाडेँ ।”
8 And he saw Israel [the] sons of Joseph and he said who? [are] these.
योसेफका छोराहरूलाई देखेर इस्राएलले भने, “यिनीहरू को हुन्?”
9 And he said Joseph to father his [are] sons my they whom he has given to me God in this [place] and he said fetch them please to me so I may bless them.
योसेफले आफ्ना बुबालाई भने, “यिनीहरू परमेश्वरले मलाई यहाँ दिनुभएका मेरा छोराहरू हुन् ।” इस्राएलले भने, “तिनीहरूलाई मकहाँ ले, ताकि म तिनीहरूलाई आशीर्वाद दिऊँ ।”
10 And [the] eyes of Israel they were heavy from old age not he was able to see and he brought near them to him and he kissed them and he embraced them.
त्यस बेला तिनको उमेरले गर्दा इस्राएलका आँखा धमिला भइसकेका थिए, त्यसैले तिनले देख्न सकेनन् । यसकारण योसेफले तिनीहरूलाई तिनको नजिक लगिदिए, अनि तिनले तिनीहरूलाई म्वाइँ खाएर अँगालो हाले ।
11 And he said Israel to Joseph to see face your not I judged and here! he has shown me God also offspring your.
इस्राएलले योसेफलाई भने, “मैले त तेरो मुख फेरि देख्न पाउँला भनी ठानेकै थिइनँ, तर मलाई परमेश्वरले तेरा सन्तान पनि देख्न दिनुभयो ।”
12 And he took Joseph them from with knees his and he bowed down to face his [the] ground towards.
तब योसेफले तिनीहरूलाई इस्राएलका घुँडाको बिचबाट हटाए, र तिनले भुइँमा घोप्टेर दण्डवत् गरे ।
13 And he took Joseph [the] two of them Ephraim at right [hand] his from [the] left of Israel and Manasseh at left [hand] his from [the] right of Israel and he brought [them] near to him.
योसेफले ती दुवैलाई लिएर एफ्राइमलाई आफ्नो दाहिनेपट्टि र इस्राएलको देब्रेपट्टि, र मनश्शेलाई आफ्नो देब्रेपट्टि र इस्राएलको दाहिनेपट्टि पर्ने गरी इस्राएलको नजिक ल्याए ।
14 And he stretched out Israel right [hand] his and he put [it] on [the] head of Ephraim and he [was] the young and left [hand] his on [the] head of Manasseh he laid cross-wise hands his for Manasseh [was] the firstborn.
इस्राएलले आफ्नो दाहिने हात पसारेर कान्छा एफ्राइमको टाउकोमा र आफ्नो देब्रे हात मनश्शेको टाउकोमा राखे । मनश्शे जेठा भएकाले तिनले आफ्नो एउटा हात अर्को हातमाथि खप्ट्याए ।
15 And he blessed Joseph and he said God whom they walked about fathers my before him Abraham and Isaac God who shepherded me from duration my until the day this.
इस्राएलले योसेफलाई आशीर्वाद दिएर भने, “जुन परमेश्वरको सामुन्ने मेरा पिता अब्राहाम र इसहाक हिँडे, जुन परमेश्वरले मेरो जीवनभरि आजसम्म मेरो वास्ता गर्नुभएको छ,
16 The angel who has redeemed me from all harm may he bless the lads and may it be called in them name my and [the] name of fathers my Abraham and Isaac and may they multiply to abundance in [the] midst of the earth.
ती स्वर्गदूत, जसले मलाई सबै खराबीबाट जोगाउनुभएको छ, उहाँले नै यी बालकहरूलाई आशीर्वाद देऊन् । मेरो र मेरा पिता अब्राहाम र इसहाकका नाउँ यिनीहरूमा बोलाइयोस् । पृथ्वीमा यिनीहरू अधिक सङ्ख्यामा बढून् ।”
17 And he saw Joseph that he will put father his [the] hand of right his on [the] head of Ephraim and it was displeasing in view his and he grasped [the] hand of father his to remove it from on [the] head of Ephraim on [the] head of Manasseh.
जब योसेफले तिनका बुबाले आफ्ना दाहिने हात एफ्राइमको टाउकोमा राखेको देखे, यो उनलाई मन परेन । तिनले एफ्राइमको टाउकोबाट मनश्शेको टाउकोमा राख्न भनी तिनका बुबाको हात उठाए ।
18 And he said Joseph to father his not thus O father my for this [is] the firstborn put right [hand] your on head his.
योसेफले आफ्ना बुबालाई भने, “हे मेरा बुबा, यसो होइन, किनकि जेठोचाहिँ यो हो । तपाईंको दाहिने हात यसको शिरमाथि राखिदिनुहोस् ।”
19 And he refused father his and he said I know O son my I know also he he will become a people and also he he will become great and but brother his young he will become great more than him and offspring his it will be [the] fullness of the nations.
तर तिनका बुबाले अस्वीकार गरी भने, “मलाई थाहा छ, मेरो छोरो, मलाई थाहा छ । यसको पनि एउटा वंश हुनेछ, र यो पनि महान् हुनेछ । तापनि यसको भाइचाहिँ योभन्दा महान् हुनेछ, र त्यसका सन्तान जाति-जातिहरूको एक समूह हुनेछ ।”
20 And he blessed them on the day that saying by you it will bless Israel saying may he make you God like Ephraim and like Manasseh and he put Ephraim before Manasseh.
इस्राएलले तिनीहरूलाई त्यस दिन यसो भनेर आशीर्वाद दिए, “इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले तिमीहरूका नाउँ लिएर यस्तो आशीर्वाद दिनेछन्, ‘परमेश्वरले तँलाई एफ्राइम र मनश्शेजस्तै बनाऊन्’।” यसरी तिनले मनश्शेभन्दा एफ्राइमलाई नै अगाडि राखे ।
21 And he said Israel to Joseph here! I [am] about to die and he will be God with you and he will bring back you to [the] land of fathers your.
इस्राएलले योसेफलाई भने, “हेर्, म मर्न लागेको छु, तर परमेश्वर तिमीहरूका साथमा हुनुहुनेछ, र तिमीहरूलाई फेरि तिमीहरूका पिता-पुर्खाहरूको देशमा फर्काएर लैजानुहुनेछ ।
22 And I I give to you a shoulder one over brothers your which I took from [the] hand of the Amorite[s] by sword my and by bow my.
त्यसबाहेक तेरा दाजुभाइहरूभन्दा तँमाथि भएकोले मैले आफ्नो तरवार र धनुको बलले एमोरीहरूबाट लिएको पहाडको पाखा म तँलाई दिन्छु ।”
