Genesis 42
1 And he saw Jacob that there [was] grain in Egypt and he said Jacob to sons his why? are you looking at one another.
Vida pak Jákob, že by potrava byla v Egyptě, řekl synům svým: Co hledíte jeden na druhého?
2 And he said here! I have heard that there [is] grain in Egypt go down there towards and buy grain for us from there so we may live and not we will die.
I mluvil jim: Aj, slyšel jsem, že mají potravu v Egyptě; jděte tam, a kupte nám odtud, abychom živi byli a nezemřeli.
3 And they went down [the] brothers of Joseph ten to buy grain grain from Egypt.
Tedy šlo deset bratrů Jozefových, aby nakoupili obilí v Egyptě.
4 And Benjamin [the] brother of Joseph not he sent Jacob with brothers his for he said lest it should happen to him harm.
Ale Beniamina, bratra Jozefova, neposlal Jákob s bratřími jeho, nebo řekl: Aby se mu tam něco zlého nepřihodilo.
5 And they came [the] sons of Israel to buy grain in among those coming for it was the famine in [the] land of Canaan.
I šli synové Izraelovi spolu s jinými, aby kupovali; nebo byl hlad v zemi Kananejské.
6 And Joseph he [was] the ruler over the land he [was] the [one who] sold grain to all [the] people of the land and they came [the] brothers of Joseph and they bowed down to him face [the] ground towards.
Jozef pak byl nejvyšší správce v zemi té; on prodával obilí všemu lidu země. Tedy přišli bratří Jozefovi, a skláněli se před ním tváří až k zemi.
7 And he saw Joseph brothers his and he recognized them and he acted as a stranger to them and he spoke with them harsh and he said to them from where? have you come and they said from [the] land of Canaan to buy food.
A uzřev Jozef bratří své, poznal je; a ukázal se k nim jako cizí, a tvrdě mluvil k nim, řka jim: Odkud jste přišli? I odpověděli: Z země Kananejské, abychom nakoupili potrav.
8 And he recognized Joseph brothers his and they not they recognized him.
Poznal, pravím, Jozef bratří své, ale oni nepoznali ho.
9 And he remembered Joseph the dreams which he had dreamed of them and he said to them [are] spies you to see [the] nakedness of the land you have come.
Tedy zpomenul Jozef na sny, kteréž měl o nich, a řekl jim: Špehéři jste, a přišli jste, abyste shlédli nepevná místa země.
10 And they said to him no O lord my and servants your they have come to buy food.
Kteřížto odpověděli jemu: Nikoli, pane můj, ale služebníci tvoji přišli, aby nakoupili pokrmů.
11 All of us [are] sons of a man one we [are] honest we not they are servants your spies.
Všickni my synové jednoho muže jsme, upřímí jsme; nikdyť jsou nebyli služebníci tvoji špehéři.
12 And he said to them In-deed [the] nakedness of the land you have come to see.
Jimž zase řekl: Není tak, ale přišli jste, abyste shlédli nepevná místa země.
13 And they said [are] two [plus] ten servants your brothers - we sons of a man one in [the] land of Canaan and there! the young [brother] [is] with father our this day and the one not [is] he.
Odpověděli oni: Dvanácte nás bratří služebníků tvých bylo, synů muže jednoho v zemi Kananejské; a aj, nejmladší s otcem naším nyní jest doma, a jednoho není.
14 And he said to them Joseph it [is that] which I said to you saying [are] spies you.
I řekl jim Jozef: Toť jest, což jsem mluvil vám, když jsem řekl: Špehéři jste.
15 By this you will be tested [by] [the] life of Pharaoh if you will go out from here that except when comes brother your young here.
Touto věcí zkušeni budete: Živť jest Farao, že nevyjdete odsud, až přijde sem bratr váš mladší.
16 Send of yourselves one so he may fetch brother your and you be imprisoned so they may be tested words your ¿ [is] truth with you and if not [by] [the] life of Pharaoh for [are] spies you.
Vyšlete z sebe jednoho, ať vezma, přivede bratra vašeho; vy pak u vězení zůstaňte, a zkušena budou vaše slova, pravdu-li jste mluvili. Pakli nic, živť jest Farao, že jste špehéři.
17 And he removed them to custody three days.
Tedy dal je všecky spolu do vězení za tři dni.
18 And he said to them Joseph on the day third this do and live God I [am] fearing.
Třetího pak dne řekl jim Jozef: Toto učiňte, abyste živi byli; neboť já se bojím Boha.
19 If [are] honest you brother your one let him be imprisoned in [the] house of custody your and you go take [the] grain of [the] hunger of households your.
Jste-li šlechetní muži, jeden bratr váš ať jest ukován v žaláři, v němž jste byli; vy pak jděte, a odneste obilí k zapuzení hladu domů vašich.
20 And brother your young you will bring to me so they may be verified words your and not you will die and they did so.
Bratra pak svého mladšího přivedete ke mně; a pravdomluvná prokázána budou vaše slova, a nezemřete. Tedy učinili tak.
21 And they said each to brother his indeed [are] guilty - we on brother our who we saw [the] distress of self his when sought favor he to us and not we listened there-fore it has come to us the distress this.
I mluvil jeden k druhému: Jistě provinili jsme proti bratru svému. Nebo viděli jsme ssoužení duše jeho, když nás pokorně prosil, a nevyslyšeli jsme ho; protož přišlo na nás ssoužení toto.
22 And he answered Reuben them saying ¿ not did I say to you - saying may not you sin against the boy and not you listened and also blood his here! [is] being required.
Odpověděl pak jim Ruben, řka: Zdaliž jsem tehdy vám nepravil těmito slovy: Nehřešte proti pacholeti. Ale neposlechli jste; pročež také krve jeho, hle, vyhledává se.
23 And they not they knew that [was] hearing Joseph for the interpreter [was] between them.
A nevěděli oni, že by rozuměl Jozef; nebo skrze tlumače mluvil jim.
24 And he turned away from with them and he wept and he returned to them and he spoke to them and he took from with them Simeon and he bound him to eyes their.
A odvrátiv se od nich, plakal. Potom navrátiv se k nim, mluvil s nimi, a vzav Simeona z nich, svázal ho před očima jejich.
25 And he commanded Joseph and people filled vessels their grain and to return silver their each to sack his and to give to them provision[s] for the journey and someone did for them thus.
Přikázal pak Jozef, aby naplněni byli pytlové jejich obilím, a navráceny peníze jejich jednomu každému do pytle jeho, a aby dána jim byla potrava na cestu. I stalo se tak.
26 And they lifted grain their on donkeys their and they went from there.
A vloživše obilí svá na osly své, odešli odtud.
27 And he opened the one sack his to give fodder to donkey his at the lodging place and he saw silver his and there! it [was] in [the] mouth of sack his.
A rozvázav jeden z nich pytel svůj, aby dal obrok oslu svému v hospodě, uzřel peníze své, kteréž byly na vrchu v pytli jeho.
28 And he said to brothers his it has been returned silver my and also here! in sack my and it went out heart their and they trembled each to brother his saying what? this has he done God to us.
I řekl bratřím svým: Navráceny jsou mi peníze mé, a aj, jsou v pytli mém. Tedy užasli se, a předěšeni jsouce, mluvili jeden k druhému: Což nám to učinil Bůh?
29 And they came to Jacob father their [the] land of towards Canaan and they told to him all the [things which] had happened to them saying.
Navrátivše se pak k Jákobovi otci svému do země Kananejské, vypravovali jemu všecko, co se jim přihodilo, pravíce:
30 He spoke the man [the] lord of the land with us harsh and he made us like [those who] spy out the land.
Muž ten, pán země, mluvil k nám tvrdě, a dal nás do vězení, jako špehéře země.
31 And we said to him [are] honest we not we are spies.
A řekli jsme jemu: Upřímí jsme, nikdy jsme nebyli špehéři.
32 [are] two [plus] Ten we brothers sons of father our the one not [is] he and the young [brother] this day [is] with father our in [the] land of Canaan.
Dvanácte bylo nás bratří, synů otce našeho, z nichž jednoho není, a mladší nyní jest s otcem naším v zemi Kananejské.
33 And he said to us the man [the] lord of the land by this I will know that [are] honest you brother your one leave with me and [the] hunger of households your take and go.
I řekl nám muž ten, pán země té: Po tomto poznám, že upřímí jste: Bratra vašeho jednoho zanechte u mne, a obilí k zapuzení hladu od domů vašich vezmouce, odejděte.
34 And bring brother your young to me so let me know that not [are] spies you that [are] honest you brother your I will give to you and the land you will go about in.
A přiveďte bratra svého mladšího ke mně, abych poznal, že nejste špehéři, ale upřímí; tehdy bratra vašeho vrátím vám, a budete moci v zemi této obchod vésti.
35 And it was they [were] emptying sacks their and there! each man [the] bag of silver his [was] in sack his and they saw [the] bags of silver their they and father their and they were afraid.
I stalo se, že, když vyprazdňovali pytle své, a aj, jeden každý měl uzlík peněz svých v pytli svém. Vidouce pak oni i otec jejich uzlíky peněz svých, báli se.
36 And he said to them Jacob father their me you are making childless Joseph not [is] he and Simeon not [is] he and Benjamin you will take on me they are all of them.
I řekl jim Jákob otec jejich: Mne jste zbavili synů: Jozefa není, Simeona nemám, a Beniamina vezmete. Na mneť jsou se tyto všecky věci svalily.
37 And he said Reuben to father his saying two of sons my you will kill if not I will bring him to you put! him on hand my and I I will bring back him to you.
Tedy řekl Ruben otci svému těmito slovy: Dva syny mé zabí, jestliže ho nepřivedu zase k tobě; poruč ho v ruce mé, a já zase přivedu ho k tobě.
38 And he said not he will go down son my with you for brother his he has died and he to only him [is] remaining and it will happen to him harm on the journey which you will go on it and you will cause to go down gray hair my in sorrow Sheol towards. (Sheol h7585)
I řekl: Nesstoupíť syn můj s vámi. Nebo bratr jeho umřel, a on sám pozůstal; a přihodilo-li by se mu co zlého na té cestě, kterouž půjdete, uvedli byste šediny mé s bolestí do hrobu. (Sheol h7585)
