Genesis 41
1 And it was from [the] end of two years days and Pharaoh [was] dreaming and there! [he was] standing at the River.
Dos años más tarde, el Faraón soñó que estaba de pie junto al río Nilo.
2 And there! from the River [were] coming up seven cows good looking of appearance and fat of flesh and they grazed among the reed[s].
Vio siete vacas que subían del río. Parecían bien alimentadas y sanas mientras pastaban entre los juncos.
3 And there! seven cows another [were] coming up after them from the River displeasing of appearance and thin of flesh and they stood beside the cows on [the] bank of the River.
Luego vio otras siete vacas que subían por detrás de ellas. Se veían feas y flacas mientras estaban junto a las otras vacas en la orilla del Nilo.
4 And they ate the cows displeasing of appearance and [the] thin of flesh seven the cows good looking of appearance and fat and he awoke Pharaoh.
Luego las vacas feas y flacas se comieron a las vacas bien alimentadas y sanas. Entonces el Faraón se despertó.
5 And he slept and he dreamed a second [time] and there! - seven ears of grain [were] coming up on a stalk one fat and good.
El Faraón se durmió de nuevo y tuvo un segundo sueño. En un tallo crecían siete cabezas de grano, maduras y sanas.
6 And there! seven ears of grain thin and scorched of an east wind [were] springing up after them.
Entonces siete cabezas de grano crecieron después de ellas, delgadas y secas por el viento del este.
7 And they swallowed the ears of grain thin seven the ears of grain fat and full and he awoke Pharaoh and there! a dream.
Las siete cabezas de grano delgadas y secas se tragaron las maduras y sanas. Entonces el Faraón se despertó y se dio cuenta de que había estado soñando.
8 And it was in the morning and it was troubled spirit his and he sent and he summoned all [the] diviner priests of Egypt and all wise [men] its and he recounted Pharaoh to them dream his and there not [was one who] interpreted them for Pharaoh.
A la mañana siguiente el Faraón estaba preocupado por sus sueños, así que mandó llamar a todos los magos y sabios de Egipto. El Faraón les habló de sus sueños, pero nadie pudo interpretar su significado para él.
9 And he spoke [the] chief of the cup bearers with Pharaoh saying sins my I [am] bringing to remembrance this day.
Pero entonces el copero principal habló. “Hoy acabo de recordar un grave error que he cometido”, explicó.
10 Pharaoh he was angry towards servants his and he put me in [the] custody of [the] house of [the] commander of the bodyguards me and [the] chief of the bakers.
“Su Majestad se enfadó con algunos de sus oficiales y me encarceló en la casa del comandante de la guardia, junto con el panadero jefe.
11 And we dreamed! a dream in a night one I and he each according to [the] interpretation of dream his we dreamed.
Cada uno de nosotros tuvo un sueño. Eran sueños diferentes, cada uno con su propio significado.
12 And [was] there with us a young man a Hebrew a slave of [the] commander of the bodyguards and we recounted to him and he interpreted for us dreams our each according to dream his he interpreted.
Un joven hebreo estaba allí con nosotros, un esclavo del comandante de la guardia. Cuando le contamos nuestros sueños, nos interpretó el significado de nuestros diferentes sueños.
13 And it was just as he interpreted for us so it was me he restored to office my and him he hanged.
Todo sucedió tal y como él dijo que sucedería, me devolvieron mi trabajo y colgaron al panadero”.
14 And he sent Pharaoh and he summoned Joseph and people brought quickly him from the pit and he shaved and he changed clothes his and he came to Pharaoh.
El Faraón convocó a José, y rápidamente lo trajeron de la prisión. Después de que se afeitara y se cambiara de ropa, fue presentado al Faraón.
15 And he said Pharaoh to Joseph a dream I have dreamed and [is one who] interprets there not it and I I have heard on you saying you hear a dream to interpret it.
El Faraón le dijo a José: “Tuve un sueño, pero nadie puede interpretar su significado. Pero he oído que cuando alguien te cuenta un sueño sabes cómo interpretarlo”.
16 And he answered Joseph Pharaoh saying apart from me God he will answer [the] welfare of Pharaoh.
“No soy yo quien puede hacer esto”, respondió José. “Pero Dios explicará su significado para tranquilizar la mente de Su Majestad”
17 And he spoke Pharaoh to Joseph in dream my if [was] I standing on [the] bank of the River.
El Faraón le explicó a José, “En mi sueño estaba parado a la orilla del Nilo.
18 And there! from the River [were] coming up seven cows fat of flesh and good looking of form and they grazed among the reed[s].
Vi siete vacas que subían del río. Parecían bien alimentadas y sanas mientras pastaban entre los juncos.
19 And there! seven cows another [were] coming up after them weak and displeasing of form very and thin of flesh not I have seen like them in all [the] land of Egypt to badness.
Luego vi otras siete vacas que subían por detrás de ellas. Se veían enfermas, feas y flacas. ¡Nunca había visto vacas tan feas en todo Egipto!
20 And they ate the cows thin and displeasing seven the cows former fat.
Estas vacas flacas y feas se comieron las primeras siete vacas de aspecto saludable.
21 And they went into inward part[s] their and not it was known that they had gone into inward part[s] their and appearance their [was] displeasing just as at the beginning and I awoke.
Pero después no se podía saber que se las habían comido porque se veían tan flacas y feas como antes. Entonces me desperté.
22 And I saw in dream my and there! - seven ears of grain [were] coming up on a stalk one full and good.
“Luego me volví a dormir. En mi segundo sueño vi siete cabezas de grano creciendo en un tallo, maduras y sanas.
23 And there! seven ears of grain withered thin scorched of an east wind [were] springing up after them.
Después de ellos crecieron siete cabezas de grano, marchitas y delgadas y secas por el viento del este.
24 And they swallowed the ears of grain thin seven the ears of grain good and I said to the diviner priests and there not [was one who] told to me.
Las siete delgadas cabezas de grano se tragaron las sanas. Les dije todo esto a los magos, pero ninguno de ellos pudo explicarme su significado”.
25 And he said Joseph to Pharaoh [the] dream of Pharaoh [is] one it [that] which God [is] about to do he has told to Pharaoh.
“Los sueños del faraón significan lo mismo”, respondió José. “Dios le está diciendo a Faraón lo que va a hacer.
26 Seven cows good [are] seven years they and seven the ears of grain good [are] seven years they [is] dream one it.
Las siete buenas vacas y las siete buenas cabezas de grano representan siete buenos años de cosecha. Los sueños significan lo mismo.
27 And seven the cows thin and displeasing that were coming up after them [are] seven years they and seven the ears of grain empty scorched of the east wind they will be seven years of famine.
Las siete vacas flacas y feas que vinieron después de ellas y las siete finas cabezas de grano secadas por el viento del este representan siete años de hambruna.
28 That [is] the word which I spoke to Pharaoh [that] which God [is] about to do he has shown Pharaoh.
Es tal como le dije a Su Majestad: Dios ha mostrado al Faraón lo que va a hacer.
29 There! seven years [are] about to come plenty great [will be] in all [the] land of Egypt.
Van a ser siete años con mucha comida producida en todo el país de Egipto.
30 And they will arise seven years of famine after them and it will be forgotten all the plenty in [the] land of Egypt and it will destroy the famine the land.
Pero después de ellos vendrán siete años de hambruna. La gente olvidará la época en que había mucha comida en todo Egipto. La hambruna arruinará el país.
31 And not it will be known the plenty in the land because of the famine that after thus for [will be] heavy it very.
El tiempo de abundancia se olvidará por completo porque la hambruna que le sigue será terrible.
32 And on [the] being repeated of the dream to Pharaoh two times for [is] certain the matter from with God and [is] hurrying God to do it.
El hecho de que el sueño se repitiera dos veces significa que definitivamente ha sido decidido por Dios, y que Dios lo hará pronto.
33 And therefore let him see Pharaoh a man discerning and wise and let him set him over [the] land of Egypt.
“Así que Su Majestad debería elegir un hombre con perspicacia y sabiduría, y ponerlo a cargo de todo el país de Egipto.
34 Let him act Pharaoh and let him appoint overseers over the land and he will take a fifth of [the] land of Egypt in seven [the] years of plenty.
Su Majestad también debe nombrar funcionarios para que estén a cargo de la tierra, y hacer que recojan una quinta parte del producto del país durante los siete años de abundancia.
35 And let them gather all [the] food of the years good that are coming these and let them store up grain under [the] hand of Pharaoh food in the cities and they will keep [it].
Deben recoger todos los alimentos durante los años buenos que se avecinan, y almacenar el grano bajo la autoridad del Faraón, manteniéndolo bajo vigilancia para proporcionar alimentos a los pueblos.
36 And it will become the food a store for the land for seven [the] years of famine which they will be in [the] land of Egypt and not it will be cut off the land by the famine.
Esto será una reserva de alimentos para el país durante los siete años de hambruna para que la gente no muera de hambre”.
37 And it was good the word in [the] eyes of Pharaoh and in [the] eyes of all servants his.
El Faraón y todos sus oficiales pensaron que la propuesta de José era una buena idea.
38 And he said Pharaoh to servants his ¿ has he been found like this one a man whom [the] spirit of God [is] in him.
Así que el Faraón les preguntó: “¿Dónde podemos encontrar a un hombre como este que tiene el espíritu de Dios en él?”
39 And he said Pharaoh to Joseph after has made know God you all this there not [is] a discerning [person] and a wise [person] like you.
Entonces el Faraón habló con José, diciéndole: “Puesto que Dios te ha revelado todo esto, y no hay nadie como tú con tanta perspicacia y sabiduría,
40 You you will be over house my and on mouth your it will kiss all people my only the throne I will be great more than you.
tú estarás a cargo de todos mis asuntos, y todo mi pueblo obedecerá tus órdenes. Sólo yo, con mi condición de rey seré más grande que tú”.
41 And he said Pharaoh to Joseph see I set you over all [the] land of Egypt.
Entonces el Faraón le dijo a José: “Mira, te pongo a cargo de todo el país de Egipto”.
42 And he removed Pharaoh signet-ring his from on hand his and he set it on [the] hand of Joseph and he clothed him clothes of fine linen and he put [the] chain of gold on neck his.
El Faraón se quitó el anillo del sello del dedo y lo puso en el dedo de José. Lo vistió con ropas de lino fino y le puso una cadena de oro alrededor del cuello.
43 And he made ride him in [the] chariot of the second which [belonged] to him and they called out before him bend [the] knee and he put him over all [the] land of Egypt.
Hizo que José viajara en el carro designado para su segundo al mando mientras sus asistentes se adelantaron gritando, “¡Inclínate!” Así es como el Faraón le dio a José autoridad sobre todo Egipto.
44 And he said Pharaoh to Joseph I [am] Pharaoh and apart from you not he will lift up anyone hand his and foot his in all [the] land of Egypt.
Entonces el Faraón le dijo a José, “Yo soy el Faraón, pero sin tu permiso nadie levantará una mano o un pie en todo el país”.
45 And he called Pharaoh [the] name of Joseph Zaphenath-Paneah and he gave to him Asenath [the] daughter of Poti-phera [the] priest of On to a wife and he went out Joseph over [the] land of Egypt.
El Faraón le dio a José el nombre de Zafnat Paneajab, y arregló que se casara con Asenat, la hija de Potifera, sacerdote de On. Así es como José se elevó al poder en todo Egipto.
46 And Joseph [was] a son of thirty year[s] when stood he before Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and he went out Joseph from to before Pharaoh and he passed in all [the] land of Egypt.
José tenía treinta años cuando empezó a trabajar para el Faraón, rey de Egipto. Después de dejar al Faraón, José viajó en una gira de inspección por todo Egipto.
47 And it produced the land in seven [the] years of plenty to handfuls.
Durante los siete años de buenas cosechas, la tierra produjo muchos alimentos.
48 And he gathered all [the] food of - seven [the] years which they were in [the] land of Egypt and he put food in the cities [the] food of [the] field[s] of the city which [was] around it he put in [the] midst of it.
Recolectó todos los alimentos durante los siete años buenos, y almacenó el grano producido en los campos locales de cada ciudad.
49 And he stored up Joseph grain like [the] sand of the sea much very until that he ceased to measure [it] for there not [was] a measure.
José apiló tanto grano que era como la arena de la orilla del mar. Eventualmente dejó de llevar registros porque había mucho.
50 And to Joseph it was born two sons before it came [the] year of famine whom she bore to him Asenath [the] daughter of Poti-phera [the] priest of On.
Fue durante este tiempo, antes de que llegaran los años de hambruna, que José tuvo dos hijos con Asenat, la hija de Potifera, sacerdote de On.
51 And he called Joseph [the] name of the firstborn Manasseh for he has made forget me God all trouble my and all [the] household of father my.
José nombró a su primogénito Manasés, porque dijo: “El Señor me ha hecho olvidar todos mis problemas y toda la familia de mi padre”.
52 And [the] name of the second he called Ephraim for he has made fruitful me God in [the] land of affliction my.
A su segundo hijo le puso el nombre de Efraín, porque dijo: “Dios me ha hecho fructífero en el país de mi miseria”.
53 And they came to an end seven [the] years of plenty which it was in [the] land of Egypt.
Los siete años de abundancia en Egipto llegaron a su fin,
54 And they began seven [the] years of famine to come just as he had said Joseph and it was a famine in all the lands and in all [the] land of Egypt it was food.
y los siete años de hambruna comenzaron, tal como José había dicho. Había hambruna en todos los demás países, pero todo Egipto tenía comida.
55 And it was hungry all [the] land of Egypt and it cried out the people to Pharaoh for food and he said Pharaoh to all Egypt go to Joseph [that] which he will say to you you will do.
Cuando todo Egipto tuvo hambre, la gente clamó al Faraón por comida, y él les dijo a todos: “Vayan a ver a José y hagan lo que él les diga”.
56 And the famine it was over all [the] face of the land and he opened Joseph all that [was] in them and he bought grain to Egypt and it was severe the famine in [the] land of Egypt.
La hambruna se había extendido por todo el país, así que José abrió todos los almacenes y vendió el grano al pueblo de Egipto. La hambruna era muy mala en Egipto,
57 And all the earth they came Egypt towards to buy grain to Joseph for it was severe the famine in all the earth.
de hecho, la hambruna era muy mala en todas partes, así que la gente de otros países de todo el mundo vino a Egipto para comprar grano a José.
