< Genesis 41 >
1 And it was from [the] end of two years days and Pharaoh [was] dreaming and there! [he was] standing at the River.
Patapita zaka ziwiri zathunthu, Farao analota atayimirira mʼmbali mwa mtsinje wa Nailo,
2 And there! from the River [were] coming up seven cows good looking of appearance and fat of flesh and they grazed among the reed[s].
ndipo anangoona ngʼombe zazikazi zisanu ndi ziwiri zooneka bwino ndi zonenepa zikutuluka mu mtsinje muja ndi kuyamba kudya msipu wa mu mawango.
3 And there! seven cows another [were] coming up after them from the River displeasing of appearance and thin of flesh and they stood beside the cows on [the] bank of the River.
Kenaka ngʼombe zina zazikazi zisanu ndi ziwiri zosaoneka bwino ndi zowonda zinatulukanso mu mtsinje wa Nailo ndipo zinayimirira pambali pa zina zija zimene zinali mʼmphepete mwa mtsinje uja.
4 And they ate the cows displeasing of appearance and [the] thin of flesh seven the cows good looking of appearance and fat and he awoke Pharaoh.
Ndipo ngʼombe zosaoneka bwino ndi zowonda zija zinadya ngʼombe zonenepa zija. Kenaka Farao anadzidzimuka.
5 And he slept and he dreamed a second [time] and there! - seven ears of grain [were] coming up on a stalk one fat and good.
Posakhalitsa anagonanso ndipo analota kachiwiri: Analota ngala zisanu ndi ziwiri za tirigu zathanzi labwino zitabala pa phata limodzi.
6 And there! seven ears of grain thin and scorched of an east wind [were] springing up after them.
Kenaka ngala zina zisanu ndi ziwiri zinaphuka. Izi zinali zowonda ndi zowauka ndi mphepo ya kummawa.
7 And they swallowed the ears of grain thin seven the ears of grain fat and full and he awoke Pharaoh and there! a dream.
Ngala zowonda zija zinameza ngala zathanzi ndi zonenepa zija. Farao anadzidzimuka ndipo anaona kuti anali maloto chabe.
8 And it was in the morning and it was troubled spirit his and he sent and he summoned all [the] diviner priests of Egypt and all wise [men] its and he recounted Pharaoh to them dream his and there not [was one who] interpreted them for Pharaoh.
Mmawa, Farao anavutika mu mtima kotero anayitanitsa amatsenga ndi anzeru onse a mu Igupto. Iwo atabwera, iye anawawuza maloto ake, koma panalibe ndi mmodzi yemwe amene anatha kutanthauzira malotowo kwa Farao.
9 And he spoke [the] chief of the cup bearers with Pharaoh saying sins my I [am] bringing to remembrance this day.
Ndipo mkulu wa operekera zakumwa anati kwa Farao, “Lero ndakumbukira kulephera kwanga.
10 Pharaoh he was angry towards servants his and he put me in [the] custody of [the] house of [the] commander of the bodyguards me and [the] chief of the bakers.
Paja nthawi ina Farao anapsera mtima antchito akefe, ndipo anatitsekera (ine ndi mkulu wa ophika buledi) mʼndende, mʼnyumba ya mkulu wa alonda.
11 And we dreamed! a dream in a night one I and he each according to [the] interpretation of dream his we dreamed.
Tsiku lina tonse awiri tinalota maloto, ndipo loto lililonse linali ndi tanthauzo lake.
12 And [was] there with us a young man a Hebrew a slave of [the] commander of the bodyguards and we recounted to him and he interpreted for us dreams our each according to dream his he interpreted.
Tsono momwemo munali mnyamata wina Wachihebri, wantchito wa mkulu wa alonda. Ife tinamufotokozera maloto athu, ndipo anatitanthauzira malotowo. Munthu aliyense anamupatsa tanthauzo la loto lake.
13 And it was just as he interpreted for us so it was me he restored to office my and him he hanged.
Ndipo zinthu zinachitikadi monga mmene anatitanthauzira. Ine anandibwezera pa ntchito yanga ndipo winayo anapachikidwa.”
14 And he sent Pharaoh and he summoned Joseph and people brought quickly him from the pit and he shaved and he changed clothes his and he came to Pharaoh.
Choncho Farao anamuyitanitsa Yosefe, ndipo mofulumira anabwera naye kuchokera mʼdzenje muja. Ndipo atameta, ndi kusintha zovala, anapita kwa Farao.
15 And he said Pharaoh to Joseph a dream I have dreamed and [is one who] interprets there not it and I I have heard on you saying you hear a dream to interpret it.
Farao anati kwa Yosefe, “Ndinalota maloto ndipo palibe amene watha kunditanthauzira. Tsono ndawuzidwa kuti iwe ukamva loto umadziwanso kulimasulira.”
16 And he answered Joseph Pharaoh saying apart from me God he will answer [the] welfare of Pharaoh.
Yosefe anamuyankha Farao kuti, “Sindingathe koma Mulungu apereka yankho limene Farao akufuna.”
17 And he spoke Pharaoh to Joseph in dream my if [was] I standing on [the] bank of the River.
Ndipo Farao anati kwa Yosefe, “Ndinalota nditayimirira mʼmphepete mwa mtsinje wa Nailo,
18 And there! from the River [were] coming up seven cows fat of flesh and good looking of form and they grazed among the reed[s].
ndipo ngʼombe zisanu ndi ziwiri zonenepa ndi zooneka bwino zinatuluka mu mtsinje muja ndi kumadya msipu wa mu mawango.
19 And there! seven cows another [were] coming up after them weak and displeasing of form very and thin of flesh not I have seen like them in all [the] land of Egypt to badness.
Kenaka, ngʼombe zina zisanu ndi ziwiri zinatuluka. Izi zinali zosaoneka bwino ndiponso zowonda ndipo sindinaonepo ngʼombe zosaoneka bwino chonchi mʼdziko lonse la Igupto.
20 And they ate the cows thin and displeasing seven the cows former fat.
Ngʼombe zosaoneka bwino ndi zowonda zija zinadya zisanu ndi ziwiri zonenepa zimene zinatuluka poyamba zija.
21 And they went into inward part[s] their and not it was known that they had gone into inward part[s] their and appearance their [was] displeasing just as at the beginning and I awoke.
Koma ngakhale ngʼombezi zinadya zinazo, palibe amene akanatha kuzindikira kuti zinatero popeza zinali zosaonekabe bwino monga poyamba. Ndipo ndinadzidzimuka.
22 And I saw in dream my and there! - seven ears of grain [were] coming up on a stalk one full and good.
“Nditagonanso kachiwiri, ndinalota ngala zisanu ndi ziwiri za tirigu zathanzi ndi zonenepa zitabala pa phata limodzi.
23 And there! seven ears of grain withered thin scorched of an east wind [were] springing up after them.
Kenaka panaphukanso ngala zina zisanu ndi ziwiri zofota, zowonda ndi zowauka ndi mphepo ya kummawa.
24 And they swallowed the ears of grain thin seven the ears of grain good and I said to the diviner priests and there not [was one who] told to me.
Ngala zowondazo zinameza ngala zisanu ndi ziwiri zabwino zija. Ndinawawuza amatsenga koma palibe ndi mmodzi yemwe anatha kundimasulira.”
25 And he said Joseph to Pharaoh [the] dream of Pharaoh [is] one it [that] which God [is] about to do he has told to Pharaoh.
Ndipo Yosefe anati kwa Farao, “Maloto awiriwa ndi ofanana ndipo ali ndi tanthauzo limodzi. Mulungu waululira Farao chimene atachite.
26 Seven cows good [are] seven years they and seven the ears of grain good [are] seven years they [is] dream one it.
Ngʼombe zisanu ndi ziwiri zabwinozo ndi zaka zisanu ndi ziwiri. Ndipo ngala zisanu ndi ziwiri zabwinozo ndi zaka zisanu ndi ziwiri. Kutanthauza kwa maloto nʼkumodzi.
27 And seven the cows thin and displeasing that were coming up after them [are] seven years they and seven the ears of grain empty scorched of the east wind they will be seven years of famine.
Ngʼombe zisanu ndi ziwiri zowonda ndi zosaoneka bwino zimene zinatuluka pambuyozo ndiponso ngala zisanu ndi ziwiri zachabechabe, zowauka ndi mphepo ya kummawa zija ndi zaka zisanu ndi ziwiri za njala.
28 That [is] the word which I spoke to Pharaoh [that] which God [is] about to do he has shown Pharaoh.
“Tsono ndi monga ndafotokozeramu kuti Mulungu wakuwuziranitu zimene adzachite.
29 There! seven years [are] about to come plenty great [will be] in all [the] land of Egypt.
Zaka zisanu ndi ziwiri za zokolola zochuluka zikubwera mu dziko lonse la Igupto,
30 And they will arise seven years of famine after them and it will be forgotten all the plenty in [the] land of Egypt and it will destroy the famine the land.
koma zidzatsatana ndi zaka zina zisanu ndi ziwiri za njala. Chakudya chochuluka cha mu Igupto chija chidzayiwalika ndipo njalayo idzawononga dziko.
31 And not it will be known the plenty in the land because of the famine that after thus for [will be] heavy it very.
Zakudya zochuluka za mʼdzikomo zija sizidzakumbukirikanso chifukwa njala imene iti idzabwereyo idzakhala yoopsa.
32 And on [the] being repeated of the dream to Pharaoh two times for [is] certain the matter from with God and [is] hurrying God to do it.
Popeza kuti malotowa aperekedwa kwa inu Mfumu kawiri, ndiye kuti Mulungu watsimikiza kuti adzachitadi zimenezi posachedwapa.
33 And therefore let him see Pharaoh a man discerning and wise and let him set him over [the] land of Egypt.
“Tsopano Farao apezeretu munthu wozindikira ndi wanzeru ndipo amuyike kukhala woyangʼanira dziko lonse la Igupto.
34 Let him act Pharaoh and let him appoint overseers over the land and he will take a fifth of [the] land of Egypt in seven [the] years of plenty.
Asankhenso akuluakulu a mʼdziko lino. Iwowa azitenga ndi kuyika padera limodzi la magawo asanu aliwonse a zokolola za mʼdziko muno mu zaka zonse zisanu ndi ziwiri za chakudya chochuluka.
35 And let them gather all [the] food of the years good that are coming these and let them store up grain under [the] hand of Pharaoh food in the cities and they will keep [it].
Iwo asonkhanitse zakudya zonse za mʼzaka zabwino zikubwerazi. Pansi pa ulamuliro wa Farao, akuluakuluwo asonkhanitse ndi kusunga bwino tirigu mʼmizinda yonse.
36 And it will become the food a store for the land for seven [the] years of famine which they will be in [the] land of Egypt and not it will be cut off the land by the famine.
Chakudya chimenechi chisungidwe kuti chidzagwiritsidwe ntchito mʼzaka zisanu ndi ziwiri za njala imene ikubwerayo mu Igupto, kuti anthu a mʼdzikoli asadzafe ndi njalayo.”
37 And it was good the word in [the] eyes of Pharaoh and in [the] eyes of all servants his.
Farao ndi nduna zake anagwirizana nawo malangizo a Yosefe.
38 And he said Pharaoh to servants his ¿ has he been found like this one a man whom [the] spirit of God [is] in him.
Choncho Farao anafunsa nduna zake nati, “Kodi tingathe kumupeza munthu wina ngati uyu, amene ali ndi mzimu wa Mulungu?”
39 And he said Pharaoh to Joseph after has made know God you all this there not [is] a discerning [person] and a wise [person] like you.
Farao anati kwa Yosefe, “Pakuti Mulungu wakudziwitsa iwe zonsezi, palibe wina wodziwa zinthu ndi wanzeru ngati iwe.
40 You you will be over house my and on mouth your it will kiss all people my only the throne I will be great more than you.
Iwe ukhala nduna yayikulu mu dziko langa ndipo anthu onse adzamvera zimene walamula. Ine ndekha ndiye amene ndidzakuposa mphamvu chifukwa ndimakhala pa mpando waufumu.”
41 And he said Pharaoh to Joseph see I set you over all [the] land of Egypt.
Choncho Farao anati kwa Yosefe, “Ine ndikukuyika iwe kukhala nduna yoyangʼanira dziko lonse la Igupto.”
42 And he removed Pharaoh signet-ring his from on hand his and he set it on [the] hand of Joseph and he clothed him clothes of fine linen and he put [the] chain of gold on neck his.
Ndipo Farao anavula mphete ku chala chake nayiveka ku chala cha Yosefe. Anamuvekanso mkanjo wonyezimira ndi nkufu wagolide mʼkhosi mwake.
43 And he made ride him in [the] chariot of the second which [belonged] to him and they called out before him bend [the] knee and he put him over all [the] land of Egypt.
Anamukweza Yosefe pa galeta ngati wachiwiri pa ulamuliro. Ndipo anthu anafuwula pamaso pake nati, “Mʼgwadireni!” Motero anakhala nduna yayikulu ya dziko lonse la Igupto.
44 And he said Pharaoh to Joseph I [am] Pharaoh and apart from you not he will lift up anyone hand his and foot his in all [the] land of Egypt.
Kenaka Farao anati kwa Yosefe, “Ine ndine Farao; tsono iwe ukapanda kulamula, palibe amene akhoza kuchita chilichonse ngakhale kuyenda kumene mʼdziko lonse la Igupto.”
45 And he called Pharaoh [the] name of Joseph Zaphenath-Paneah and he gave to him Asenath [the] daughter of Poti-phera [the] priest of On to a wife and he went out Joseph over [the] land of Egypt.
Farao anamupatsa Yosefe dzina lakuti Zafenati-Panea ndipo anamupatsanso Asenati mwana wa mkazi wa Potifara, wansembe wa Oni, kuti akhale mkazi wake. Choncho Yosefe anayendera dziko lonse la Igupto.
46 And Joseph [was] a son of thirty year[s] when stood he before Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and he went out Joseph from to before Pharaoh and he passed in all [the] land of Egypt.
Yosefe anali ndi zaka 30 pamene amayamba ntchito kwa Farao, mfumu ya ku Igupto. Ndipo Yosefe anachoka pa maso pa Farao nayendera dziko lonse la Igupto.
47 And it produced the land in seven [the] years of plenty to handfuls.
Mʼzaka zisanu ndi ziwiri za zokolola zambiri zija, anthu mʼdzikomo anakolola zochuluka.
48 And he gathered all [the] food of - seven [the] years which they were in [the] land of Egypt and he put food in the cities [the] food of [the] field[s] of the city which [was] around it he put in [the] midst of it.
Yosefe anasonkhanitsa zakudya zonse zokololedwa mʼzaka zisanu ndi ziwiri zija ndipo anazisunga mʼmizinda. Mu mzinda uliwonse anayikamo chakudya chimene chinalimidwa mʼminda yozungulira komweko.
49 And he stored up Joseph grain like [the] sand of the sea much very until that he ceased to measure [it] for there not [was] a measure.
Yosefe anasunga tirigu wochuluka kwambiri ngati mchenga wa ku nyanja. Kunali tirigu wochuluka kwambiri motero kuti analeka nʼkulembera komwe.
50 And to Joseph it was born two sons before it came [the] year of famine whom she bore to him Asenath [the] daughter of Poti-phera [the] priest of On.
Zisanafike zaka zanjala, Yosefe anabereka ana aamuna awiri mwa Asenati mwana wa mkazi wa Potifara, wansembe wa Oni.
51 And he called Joseph [the] name of the firstborn Manasseh for he has made forget me God all trouble my and all [the] household of father my.
Yosefe anamutcha mwana wake woyamba, Manase popeza anati, “Mulungu wandiyiwalitsa zovuta zanga zija ndiponso banja la abambo anga.”
52 And [the] name of the second he called Ephraim for he has made fruitful me God in [the] land of affliction my.
Mwana wachiwiri wa mwamuna anamutcha Efereimu popeza anati, “Mulungu wandipatsa ana mʼdziko la masautso anga.”
53 And they came to an end seven [the] years of plenty which it was in [the] land of Egypt.
Zaka zisanu ndi ziwiri za zokolola zochuluka zija zinatha,
54 And they began seven [the] years of famine to come just as he had said Joseph and it was a famine in all the lands and in all [the] land of Egypt it was food.
ndipo zaka zisanu ndi ziwiri za njala zija zinayamba monga ananenera Yosefe. Njalayi inafika ku mayiko ena onse koma ku dziko lonse la Igupto kunali chakudya.
55 And it was hungry all [the] land of Egypt and it cried out the people to Pharaoh for food and he said Pharaoh to all Egypt go to Joseph [that] which he will say to you you will do.
Pamene njala ija inakwanira dziko lonse la Igupto anthu analilira Farao kuti awapatse chakudya. Koma Farao anawawuza kuti, “Pitani kwa Yosefe ndipo mukachite zimene akakuwuzeni.”
56 And the famine it was over all [the] face of the land and he opened Joseph all that [was] in them and he bought grain to Egypt and it was severe the famine in [the] land of Egypt.
Pamene njala inafalikira dziko lonse, Yosefe anatsekula nkhokwe za zakudya namagulitsa tirigu kwa anthu a ku Igupto aja, pakuti njala inafika poyipa kwambiri mu Igupto monse.
57 And all the earth they came Egypt towards to buy grain to Joseph for it was severe the famine in all the earth.
Anthu ankabwera ku Igupto kuchokera ku mayiko ena onse kudzagula tirigu kwa Yosefe, chifukwa njala inafika poyipa kwambiri pa dziko lonse lapansi.
