Genesis 38
1 And it was at the time that and he went down Judah from with brothers his and he turned aside to a man an Adullamite and name his [was] Hirah.
Şi s-a întâmplat în acel timp, că Iuda a coborât de la fraţii săi şi s-a abătut pe la un anumit adulamit, al cărui nume era Hira.
2 And he saw there Judah a daughter of a man a Canaanite and name his [was] Shua and he took her and he went into her.
Şi Iuda a văzut acolo o fiică a unui anumit canaanit, al cărui nume era Şua; şi a luat-o şi a intrat la ea.
3 And she conceived and she bore a son and he called name his Er.
Şi ea a rămas însărcinată şi a născut un fiu; şi el i-a pus numele Er.
4 And she conceived again and she bore a son and she called name his Onan.
Şi ea a rămas însărcinată din nou şi a născut un fiu; şi ea i-a pus numele Onan.
5 And she repeated again and she bore a son and she called name his Shelah and he was in Kezib when bore she him.
Şi ea a rămas însărcinată încă odată şi a născut un fiu; şi i-a pus numele Şela; şi el era la Chezib când ea l-a născut.
6 And he took Judah a wife for Er firstborn his and name her [was] Tamar.
Şi Iuda a luat o soţie pentru Er, întâiul lui născut, al cărei nume era Tamar.
7 And he was Er [the] firstborn of Judah evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he put to death him Yahweh.
Şi Er, întâiul născut al lui Iuda, era stricat înaintea ochilor Domnului; şi Domnul l-a ucis.
8 And he said Judah to Onan go into [the] wife of brother your and act as a husband's brother for her and raise up offspring for brother your.
Şi Iuda i-a spus lui Onan: Intră la soţia fratelui tău şi căsătoreşte-te cu ea şi ridică sămânţă fratelui tău.
9 And he knew Onan that not to him it will belong the offspring and it was if he went into [the] wife of brother his and he spoiled [the] ground towards to not to give offspring to brother his.
Şi Onan a ştiut că sămânţa nu va fi a lui; şi s-a întâmplat, când intra la soţia fratelui său, că vărsa sămânţa pe pământ ca nu cumva să dea sămânţă fratelui său.
10 And it was evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh [that] which he had done and he put to death also him.
Şi lucrul pe care l-a făcut nu a plăcut Domnului. De aceea l-a ucis şi pe el.
11 And he said Judah to Tamar daughter-in-law his dwell a widow [the] house of father your until he will grow up Shelah son my for he said lest he should die also he like brothers his and she went Tamar and she dwelt [the] house of father her.
Atunci Iuda a spus lui Tamar, nora lui: Rămâi văduvă la casa tatălui tău, până Şela, fiul meu, va creşte; fiindcă zicea: Nu cumva să moară şi el ca fraţii săi. Şi Tamar a mers şi a locuit în casa tatălui ei.
12 And they increased the days and she died [the] daughter of Shua [the] wife of Judah and he was comforted Judah and he went up to [the] shearers of sheep his he and Hirah friend his the Adullamite Timnah towards.
Şi după un timp, fiica lui Şua, soţia lui Iuda a murit; şi Iuda a fost mângâiat şi a urcat la Timnat la tunzătorii lui de oi, el, şi prietenul său, Hira adulamitul.
13 And it was told to Tamar saying there! father-in-law your [is] going up Timnah towards to shear sheep his.
Şi i s-a spus lui Tamar, zicând: Iată, socrul tău urcă la Timnat să îşi tundă oile.
14 And she removed [the] clothes of widowhood her from on her and she covered with the veil and she wrapped herself up and she sat at [the] entrance of Enaim which [is] on [the] road of Timnah towards for she had seen that he had grown up Shelah and she not she had been given to him to a wife.
Şi ea şi-a dat jos hainele de văduvă de pe ea şi s-a acoperit cu un văl şi s-a înfăşurat şi a stat jos într-un loc deschis, care este pe lângă calea spre Timnat, pentru că ea a văzut că Şela crescuse, iar ea nu i-a fost dată de soţie.
15 And he saw her Judah and he considered her to a prostitute for she had covered face her.
Când Iuda a văzut-o, a crezut că ea era o curvă, pentru că îşi acoperise faţa.
16 And he turned aside to her to the road and he said give! please let me go into you for not he knew that [was] daughter-in-law his she and she said what? will you give to me that you will come into me.
Şi el s-a abătut la ea de pe cale şi a spus: Lasă-mă, te rog, să intru la tine; (pentru că nu a ştiut că ea era nora lui.) Iar ea a spus: Ce îmi vei da, ca să intri la mine?
17 And he said I I will send a kid of goats from the flock and she said if you will give a pledge until sending [it] you.
Iar el a spus: Îţi voi trimite un ied din turmă. Iar ea a spus: Îmi vei da o garanţie, până îl trimiţi?
18 And he said what? [is] the pledge which I will give to you and she said seal your and cord your and staff your which [is] in hand your and he gave [them] to her and he went into her and she conceived to him.
Iar el a spus: Ce garanţie să îţi dau? Iar ea a spus: Sigiliul tău şi brăţările tale şi toiagul tău din mâna ta. Şi el i le-a dat şi a intrat la ea şi ea a rămas însărcinată de la el.
19 And she arose and she went and she removed veil her from on her and she put on [the] clothes of widowhood her.
Şi ea s-a ridicat şi a plecat şi a pus deoparte vălul de pe ea şi a îmbrăcat hainele văduviei ei.
20 And he sent Judah [the] kid of the goats by [the] hand of friend his the Adullamite to take the pledge from [the] hand of the woman and not he found her.
Şi Iuda a trimis iedul prin mâna prietenului său, adulamitul, ca să primească garanţia lui din mâna femeii; dar nu a găsit-o.
21 And he asked [the] men of place her saying where? [is] the cult prostitute she [was] at Enaim at the road and they said not she was in this [place] a cult prostitute.
Atunci el a întrebat bărbaţii acelui loc, spunând: Unde este curva, care era la vedere pe marginea drumului? Iar ei au spus: Nu a fost nicio curvă în acest loc.
22 And he returned to Judah and he said not I found her and also [the] men of the place they said not she was in this [place] a cult prostitute.
Şi el s-a întors la Iuda şi a spus: Nu o pot găsi; şi de asemenea oamenii locului au spus că nu era nicio curvă în acel loc.
23 And he said Judah let her take [them] for herself lest we should become contempt there! I sent the kid this and you not you found her.
Şi Iuda a spus: Să o ţină, ca nu cumva să fim ruşinaţi; iată, eu am trimis acest ied şi nu ai găsit-o.
24 And it was - when from three months and it was told to Judah saying she has acted as a prostitute Tamar daughter-in-law your and also here! [she is] pregnant to prostitution and he said Judah bring out her so she may be burned.
Şi s-a întâmplat cam după trei luni, că i s-a spus lui Iuda, zicând: Tamar, nora ta, a făcut pe curva; şi de asemenea, iată, ea este însărcinată prin curvie. Şi Iuda a spus: Aduceţi-o aici şi să fie arsă.
25 She [was being] brought out and she she sent to father-in-law her saying to a man whom these [belong] to him I [am] pregnant and she said investigate please [belong] to whom? the seal and the cord and the staff these.
Când ea a fost adusă, ea a trimis la socrul ei, spunând: Prin bărbatul, ale căruia sunt acestea, sunt însărcinată; şi a spus: Cercetează, te rog, ale cui sunt acestea: sigiliul şi brăţările şi toiagul.
26 And he recognized [them] Judah and he said she is righteous more than me for since not I gave her to Shelah son my and not he repeated again to know her.
Şi Iuda le-a recunoscut şi a spus: Ea a fost mai dreaptă decât mine; deoarece nu i l-am dat pe Şela, fiul meu. Şi el nu a mai cunoscut-o vreodată.
27 And it was at [the] time gave birth she and there! twins [were] in womb her.
Şi s-a întâmplat în timpul travaliului ei, că, iată, gemeni erau în pântecele ei.
28 And it was when gave birth she and he put out a hand and she took the midwife and she tied on hand his a scarlet thread saying this one he came out first.
Şi s-a întâmplat, când era în travaliu, că unul şi-a scos mâna; şi moaşa a luat şi i-a legat de mână o aţă stacojie, spunând: Acesta a ieşit afară primul.
29 And it was - when [he was] withdrawing hand his and there! he came out brother his and she said how! you have made a breach on yourself a breach and someone called name his Perez.
Şi s-a întâmplat, în timp ce şi-a tras înapoi mâna, că, iată, fratele lui a ieşit afară; şi ea a spus: Cum ai ieşit afară? Această spărtură să fie asupra ta; de aceea i-au pus numele Pereţ.
30 And after he came out brother his whom [was] on hand his the scarlet thread and someone called name his Zerah.
Şi după aceasta a ieşit afară fratele lui, care avea aţa stacojie la mâna lui; şi i-au pus numele Zerah.
