Genesis 36
1 And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau that [is] Edom.
Detta är berättelsen om Esaus, det är Edoms, släkt.
2 Esau he took wives his from [the] daughters of Canaan Adah [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon the Hivite.
Esau hade tagit sina hustrur bland Kanaans döttrar: Ada, hetiten Elons dotter, och Oholibama, dotter till Ana och sondotter till hivéen Sibeon,
3 And Basemath [the] daughter of Ishmael [the] sister of Nebaioth.
så ock Basemat, Ismaels dotter, Nebajots syster.
4 And she bore Adah to Esau Eliphaz and Basemath she bore Reuel.
Och Ada födde Elifas åt Esau, men Basemat födde Reguel.
5 And Oholibamah she bore (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah these [were] [the] sons of Esau who they were born to him in [the] land of Canaan.
Och Oholibama födde Jeus, Jaelam och Kora. Dessa voro Esaus söner, vilka föddes åt honom i Kanaans land.
6 And he took Esau wives his and sons his and daughters his and all [the] people of household his and livestock his and all animal[s] his and all possession[s] his which he had accumulated in [the] land of Canaan and he went to a land [away] from before Jacob brother his.
Och Esau tog sina hustrur, sina söner och döttrar och allt sitt husfolk, sin boskap och alla sina dragare och all annan egendom som han hade förvärvat i Kanaans land och drog till ett annat land och skilde sig så från sin broder Jakob.
7 For it was possession[s] their [too] much for dwelling together and not it was able [the] land of sojournings their to support them because of livestock their.
Ty deras ägodelar voro så stora att de icke kunde bo tillsammans; landet där de uppehöllo sig räckte icke till åt dem, för deras boskapshjordars skull.
8 And he dwelt Esau in [the] hill country of Seir Esau that [is] Edom.
Och Esau bosatte sig i Seirs bergsbygd. Esau, det är densamme som Edom.
9 And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau [the] ancestor of Edom in [the] hill country of Seir.
Och detta är berättelsen om Esaus släkt, hans som var stamfader för edoméerna, i Seirs bergsbygd.
10 These [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Esau Eliphaz [the] son of Adah [the] wife of Esau Reuel [the] son of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
Dessa äro namnen på Esaus söner: Elifas, son till Ada, Esaus hustru, och Reguel, son till Basemat, Esaus hustru.
11 And they were [the] sons of Eliphaz Teman Omar Zepho and Gatam and Kenaz.
Men Elifas' söner voro Teman, Omar, Sefo, Gaetam och Kenas.
12 And Timna - she was a concubine of Eliphaz [the] son of Esau and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek these [were] [the] sons of Adah [the] wife of Esau.
Och Timna, som var Elifas', Esaus sons, bihustru, födde Amalek åt Elifas. Dessa voro söner till Ada, Esaus hustru.
13 And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel Nahath and Zerah Shammah and Mizzah these they were [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
Men Reguels söner voro dessa: Nahat och Sera, Samma och Missa. Dessa voro söner till Basemat, Esaus hustru.
14 And these they were [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon [the] wife of Esau and she bore to Esau (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah.
Men söner till Oholibama, Esaus hustru, dotter till Ana och sondotter till Sibeon, voro dessa, som hon födde åt Esau: Jeus, Jaelam och Kora.
15 These [were] [the] chiefs of [the] sons of Esau [the] sons of Eliphaz [the] firstborn of Esau chief Teman chief Omar chief Zepho chief Kenaz.
Dessa voro stamfurstarna bland Esaus söner: Elifas', Esaus förstföddes, söner voro dessa: fursten Teman, fursten Omar, fursten Sefo, fursten Kenas,
16 Chief Korah chief Gatam chief Amalek these [were] [the] chiefs of Eliphaz in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Adah.
fursten Kora, fursten Gaetam, fursten Amalek. Dessa voro de furstar som härstammade från Elifas, i Edoms land; dessa voro Adas söner.
17 And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel [the] son of Esau chief Nahath chief Zerah chief Shammah chief Mizzah these [were] [the] chiefs of Reuel in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
Och dessa voro Reguels, Esaus sons, söner: fursten Nahat, fursten Sera, fursten Samma, fursten Missa. Dessa voro de furstar som härstammade från Reguel, i Edoms land; dessa voro söner till Basemat, Esaus hustru.
18 And these [were] [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] wife of Esau chief Jeush chief Jalam chief Korah these [were] [the] chiefs of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] wife of Esau.
Och dessa voro Oholibamas, Esaus hustrus, söner: fursten Jeus, fursten Jaelam, fursten Kora. Dessa voro de furstar som härstammade från Oholibama, Anas dotter och Esaus hustru.
19 These [were] [the] sons of Esau and these [were] chiefs their that [is] Edom.
Dessa voro Esaus söner, och dessa deras stamfurstar. Han är densamme som Edom.
20 These [were] [the] sons of Seir the Horite [the] inhabitants of the land Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah.
Dessa voro horéen Seirs söner, landets förra inbyggare: Lotan, Sobal, Sibeon, Ana,
21 And Dishon and Ezer and Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] [the] sons of Seir in [the] land of Edom.
Dison, Eser och Disan. Dessa voro horéernas, Seirs söners, stamfurstar i Edoms land.
22 And they were [the] sons of Lotan Hori and Hemam and [the] sister of Lotan [was] Timna.
Men Lotans söner voro Hori och Hemam; och Lotans syster var Timna.
23 And these [were] [the] sons of Shobal Alvan and Manahath and Ebal Shepho and Onam.
Och dessa voro Sobals söner: Alvan, Manahat och Ebal, Sefo och Onam.
24 And these [were] [the] sons of Zibeon and Aiah and Anah he [was] Anah who he found the hot springs in the wilderness when was pasturing he the donkeys of Zibeon father his.
Och dessa voro Sibeons söner: Aja och Ana; det var denne Ana som fann de varma källorna i öknen, när han vaktade sin fader Sibeons åsnor.
25 And these [were] [the] children of Anah Dishon and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah.
Men dessa voro Anas barn: Dison och Oholibama, Anas dotter.
26 And these [were] [the] sons of Dishan Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Keran.
Och dessa voro Disans söner: Hemdan, Esban, Jitran och Keran.
27 These [were] [the] sons of Ezer Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
Och dessa voro Esers söner: Bilhan, Saavan och Akan.
28 These [were] [the] sons of Dishan Uz and Aran.
Dessa voro Disans söner: Us och Aran.
29 These [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] chief Lotan chief Shobal chief Zibeon chief Anah.
Dessa voro horéernas stamfurstar: fursten Lotan, fursten Sobal, fursten Sibeon, fursten Ana,
30 Chief Dishon chief Ezer chief Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] to chiefs their in [the] land of Seir.
fursten Dison, fursten Eser, fursten Disan. Dessa voro horéernas stamfurstar i Seirs land, var furste för sig.
31 And these [were] the kings who they reigned in [the] land of Edom before reigned a king of [the] people of Israel.
Och dessa voro de konungar som regerade i Edoms land, innan ännu någon israelitisk konung var konung där:
32 And he reigned in Edom Bela [the] son of Beor and [the] name of city his [was] Dinhabah.
Bela, Beors son, var konung i Edom, och hans stad hette Dinhaba.
33 And he died Bela and he reigned in place of him Jobab [the] son of Zerah from Bozrah.
När Bela dog, blev Jobab, Seras son, från Bosra, konung efter honom.
34 And he died Jobab and he reigned in place of him Husham from [the] land of the Temanite[s].
När Jobab dog, blev Husam från temanéernas land konung efter honom.
35 And he died Husham and he reigned in place of him Hadad [the] son of Bedad who defeated Midian in [the] region of Moab and [the] name of city his [was] Avith.
När Husam dog, blev Hadad, Bedads son, konung efter honom, han som slog midjaniterna på Moabs mark; och hans stad hette Avit.
36 And he died Hadad and he reigned in place of him Samlah from Masrekah.
När Hadad dog, blev Samla från Masreka konung efter honom.
37 And he died Samlah and he reigned in place of him Shaul from Rehoboth the River.
När Samla dog, blev Saul från Rehobot vid floden konung efter honom.
38 And he died Shaul and he reigned in place of him Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor.
När Saul dog, blev Baal-Hanan, Akbors son, konung efter honom.
39 And he died Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor and he reigned in place of him Hadar and [the] name of city his [was] Pau and [the] name of wife his [was] Mehetabel [the] daughter of Matred [the] daughter of Me-Zahab.
När Baal-Hanan, Akbors son, dog, blev Hadar konung efter honom; och hans stad hette Pagu, och hans hustru hette Mehetabel, dotter till Matred, som var dotter till Me-Sahab.
40 And these [were] [the] names of [the] chiefs of Esau to clans their to places their by names their chief Timna chief Alvah chief Jetheth.
Och dessa äro namnen på Esaus stamfurstar, efter deras släkter och orter, med deras namn: fursten Timna, fursten Alva, fursten Jetet,
41 Chief Oholibamah chief Elah chief Pinon.
fursten Oholibama, fursten Ela, fursten Pinon,
42 Chief Kenaz chief Teman chief Mibzar.
fursten Kenas, fursten Teman, fursten Mibsar,
43 Chief Magdiel chief Iram these - [were] [the] chiefs of Edom to dwelling places their in [the] land of possession their that [was] Esau [the] ancestor of Edom.
fursten Magdiel, fursten Iram. Dessa voro Edoms stamfurstar, efter deras boningsorter i det land de hade tagit i besittning -- hans som ock kallas Esau, edoméernas stamfader.
