Genesis 36
1 And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau that [is] Edom.
Inilah keturunan Esau, yaitu Edom.
2 Esau he took wives his from [the] daughters of Canaan Adah [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon the Hivite.
Esau mengambil perempuan-perempuan Kanaan menjadi isterinya, yakni Ada, anak Elon orang Het, dan Oholibama, anak Ana anak Zibeon orang Hewi,
3 And Basemath [the] daughter of Ishmael [the] sister of Nebaioth.
dan Basmat, anak Ismael, adik Nebayot.
4 And she bore Adah to Esau Eliphaz and Basemath she bore Reuel.
Ada melahirkan Elifas bagi Esau, dan Basmat melahirkan Rehuel,
5 And Oholibamah she bore (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah these [were] [the] sons of Esau who they were born to him in [the] land of Canaan.
dan Oholibama melahirkan Yeush, Yaelam dan Korah. Itulah anak-anak Esau, yang lahir baginya di tanah Kanaan.
6 And he took Esau wives his and sons his and daughters his and all [the] people of household his and livestock his and all animal[s] his and all possession[s] his which he had accumulated in [the] land of Canaan and he went to a land [away] from before Jacob brother his.
Esau membawa isteri-isterinya, anak-anaknya lelaki dan perempuan dan semua orang yang ada di rumahnya, ternaknya, segala hewannya dan segala harta bendanya yang telah diperolehnya di tanah Kanaan, lalu pergilah ia ke negeri lain dan ia meninggalkan Yakub, adiknya itu.
7 For it was possession[s] their [too] much for dwelling together and not it was able [the] land of sojournings their to support them because of livestock their.
Sebab harta milik mereka terlalu banyak, sehingga mereka tidak dapat tinggal bersama-sama, dan negeri penumpangan mereka tidak dapat memuat mereka karena banyaknya ternak mereka itu.
8 And he dwelt Esau in [the] hill country of Seir Esau that [is] Edom.
Maka menetaplah Esau di pegunungan Seir; Esau itulah Edom.
9 And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau [the] ancestor of Edom in [the] hill country of Seir.
Inilah keturunan Esau, bapa orang Edom, di pegunungan Seir.
10 These [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Esau Eliphaz [the] son of Adah [the] wife of Esau Reuel [the] son of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
Nama anak-anaknya ialah: Elifas, anak Ada isteri Esau; Rehuel, anak Basmat isteri Esau.
11 And they were [the] sons of Eliphaz Teman Omar Zepho and Gatam and Kenaz.
Anak-anak Elifas ialah Teman, Omar, Zefo, Gaetam dan Kenas.
12 And Timna - she was a concubine of Eliphaz [the] son of Esau and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek these [were] [the] sons of Adah [the] wife of Esau.
Timna adalah gundik Elifas anak Esau; ia melahirkan Amalek bagi Elifas. Itulah cucu-cucu Ada isteri Esau.
13 And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel Nahath and Zerah Shammah and Mizzah these they were [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
Inilah anak-anak Rehuel: Nahat, Zerah, Syama dan Miza. Itulah cucu-cucu Basmat isteri Esau.
14 And these they were [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon [the] wife of Esau and she bore to Esau (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah.
Inilah anak-anak Oholibama, isteri Esau itu, anak Ana anak Zibeon; ia melahirkan bagi Esau: Yeush, Yaelam dan Korah.
15 These [were] [the] chiefs of [the] sons of Esau [the] sons of Eliphaz [the] firstborn of Esau chief Teman chief Omar chief Zepho chief Kenaz.
Inilah kepala-kepala kaum bani Esau: keturunan Elifas anak sulung Esau, ialah kepala kaum Teman, kepala kaum Omar, kepala kaum Zefo, kepala kaum Kenas,
16 Chief Korah chief Gatam chief Amalek these [were] [the] chiefs of Eliphaz in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Adah.
kepala kaum Korah, kepala kaum Gaetam dan kepala kaum Amalek; itulah kepala-kepala kaum Elifas di tanah Edom; itulah keturunan Ada.
17 And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel [the] son of Esau chief Nahath chief Zerah chief Shammah chief Mizzah these [were] [the] chiefs of Reuel in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
Inilah keturunan Rehuel anak Esau: kepala kaum Nahat, kepala kaum Zerah, kepala kaum Syama dan kepala kaum Miza; itulah kepala-kepala kaum Rehuel di tanah Edom; itulah keturunan Basmat isteri Esau.
18 And these [were] [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] wife of Esau chief Jeush chief Jalam chief Korah these [were] [the] chiefs of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] wife of Esau.
Inilah keturunan Oholibama isteri Esau: kepala kaum Yeush, kepala kaum Yaelam, kepala kaum Korah; itulah kepala-kepala kaum Oholibama, isteri Esau, anak Ana.
19 These [were] [the] sons of Esau and these [were] chiefs their that [is] Edom.
Itulah bani Esau, yakni Edom, dan itulah kepala-kepala kaum mereka.
20 These [were] [the] sons of Seir the Horite [the] inhabitants of the land Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah.
Inilah anak-anak Seir, orang Hori, penduduk negeri itu: Lotan, Syobal, Zibeon, Ana,
21 And Dishon and Ezer and Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] [the] sons of Seir in [the] land of Edom.
Disyon, Ezer, Disyan; itulah kepala-kepala kaum orang Hori, anak-anak Seir, di tanah Edom.
22 And they were [the] sons of Lotan Hori and Hemam and [the] sister of Lotan [was] Timna.
Anak-anak Lotan ialah Hori dan Heman, dan saudara perempuan Lotan ialah Timna.
23 And these [were] [the] sons of Shobal Alvan and Manahath and Ebal Shepho and Onam.
Inilah anak-anak Syobal: Alwan, Manahat, Ebal, Syefo dan Onam.
24 And these [were] [the] sons of Zibeon and Aiah and Anah he [was] Anah who he found the hot springs in the wilderness when was pasturing he the donkeys of Zibeon father his.
Inilah anak-anak Zibeon: Aya dan Ana; Ana inilah yang menemui mata-mata air panas di padang gurun, ketika ia sedang menggembalakan keledai Zibeon ayahnya itu.
25 And these [were] [the] children of Anah Dishon and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah.
Inilah anak-anak Ana: Disyon dan Oholibama anak perempuan Ana.
26 And these [were] [the] sons of Dishan Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Keran.
Inilah anak-anak Disyon: Hemdan, Esyban, Yitran dan Keran.
27 These [were] [the] sons of Ezer Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
Inilah anak-anak Ezer: Bilhan, Zaawan dan Akan.
28 These [were] [the] sons of Dishan Uz and Aran.
Inilah anak-anak Disyan: Us dan Aran.
29 These [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] chief Lotan chief Shobal chief Zibeon chief Anah.
Itulah kepala-kepala kaum orang Hori: kepala kaum Lotan, kepala kaum Syobal, kepala kaum Zibeon, kepala kaum Ana,
30 Chief Dishon chief Ezer chief Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] to chiefs their in [the] land of Seir.
kepala kaum Disyon, kepala kaum Ezer dan kepala kaum Disyan; itulah kepala-kepala kaum orang Hori, kaum demi kaum, di tanah Seir.
31 And these [were] the kings who they reigned in [the] land of Edom before reigned a king of [the] people of Israel.
Inilah raja-raja yang memerintah di tanah Edom, sebelum ada seorang raja memerintah atas orang Israel.
32 And he reigned in Edom Bela [the] son of Beor and [the] name of city his [was] Dinhabah.
Di Edom yang memerintah ialah Bela bin Beor dan kotanya bernama Dinhaba.
33 And he died Bela and he reigned in place of him Jobab [the] son of Zerah from Bozrah.
Setelah Bela mati, Yobab bin Zerah dari Bozra menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
34 And he died Jobab and he reigned in place of him Husham from [the] land of the Temanite[s].
Setelah Yobab mati, Husyam, dari negeri orang Teman, menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
35 And he died Husham and he reigned in place of him Hadad [the] son of Bedad who defeated Midian in [the] region of Moab and [the] name of city his [was] Avith.
Setelah Husyam mati, Hadad bin Bedad menjadi raja menggantikan dia; dialah yang memukul kalah orang Midian di daerah Moab, dan kotanya bernama Awit.
36 And he died Hadad and he reigned in place of him Samlah from Masrekah.
Setelah Hadad mati, Samla dari Masreka menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
37 And he died Samlah and he reigned in place of him Shaul from Rehoboth the River.
Setelah Samla mati, Saul, dari Rehobot yang di pinggir sungai, menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
38 And he died Shaul and he reigned in place of him Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor.
Setelah Saul mati, Baal-Hanan bin Akhbor menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
39 And he died Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor and he reigned in place of him Hadar and [the] name of city his [was] Pau and [the] name of wife his [was] Mehetabel [the] daughter of Matred [the] daughter of Me-Zahab.
Setelah Baal-Hanan bin Akhbor mati, Hadar menjadi raja menggantikan dia; kotanya bernama Pahu dan isterinya bernama Mehetabeel binti Matred binti Mezahab.
40 And these [were] [the] names of [the] chiefs of Esau to clans their to places their by names their chief Timna chief Alvah chief Jetheth.
Inilah nama kepala-kepala kaum Esau menurut kaum dan tempat mereka, dengan nama mereka masing-masing: kepala kaum Timna, kepala kaum Alwa, kepala kaum Yetet,
41 Chief Oholibamah chief Elah chief Pinon.
kepala kaum Oholibama, kepala kaum Ela, kepala kaum Pinon,
42 Chief Kenaz chief Teman chief Mibzar.
kepala kaum Kenas, kepala kaum Teman, kepala kaum Mibzar,
43 Chief Magdiel chief Iram these - [were] [the] chiefs of Edom to dwelling places their in [the] land of possession their that [was] Esau [the] ancestor of Edom.
kepala kaum Magdiel dan kepala kaum Iram; itulah kepala-kepala kaum Edom, menurut tempat kediaman mereka di tanah milik mereka; Edom ialah Esau, bapa orang Edom.
