Genesis 36
1 And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau that [is] Edom.

2 Esau he took wives his from [the] daughters of Canaan Adah [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon the Hivite.

3 And Basemath [the] daughter of Ishmael [the] sister of Nebaioth.

4 And she bore Adah to Esau Eliphaz and Basemath she bore Reuel.
Ada agĩciarĩra Esaũ Elifazu, na Basemathu agĩciara Reueli,
5 And Oholibamah she bore (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah these [were] [the] sons of Esau who they were born to him in [the] land of Canaan.

6 And he took Esau wives his and sons his and daughters his and all [the] people of household his and livestock his and all animal[s] his and all possession[s] his which he had accumulated in [the] land of Canaan and he went to a land [away] from before Jacob brother his.

7 For it was possession[s] their [too] much for dwelling together and not it was able [the] land of sojournings their to support them because of livestock their.

9 And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau [the] ancestor of Edom in [the] hill country of Seir.

10 These [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Esau Eliphaz [the] son of Adah [the] wife of Esau Reuel [the] son of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
Maya nĩmo marĩĩtwa ma ariũ a Esaũ: nĩ Elifazu, mũrũ wa Ada mũtumia wa Esaũ, na Reueli, mũrũ wa Basemathu mũtumia wa Esaũ.
11 And they were [the] sons of Eliphaz Teman Omar Zepho and Gatam and Kenaz.
Ariũ a Elifazu nĩ aya: nĩ Temani, na Omari, na Zefo, na Gatamu, na Kenazu.
12 And Timna - she was a concubine of Eliphaz [the] son of Esau and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek these [were] [the] sons of Adah [the] wife of Esau.
Elifazu mũrũ wa Esaũ o nake nĩ aarĩ na thuriya yetagwo Timina, ĩrĩa yamũciarĩire Amaleki. Acio nĩo maarĩ ariũ a mũrũ wa Ada mũtumia wa Esaũ.
13 And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel Nahath and Zerah Shammah and Mizzah these they were [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
Ariũ a Reueli nĩ aya: nĩ Nahathu, na Zera, na Shama, na Miza. Acio nĩo maarĩ ariũ a mũrũ wa Basemathu mũtumia wa Esaũ.
14 And these they were [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon [the] wife of Esau and she bore to Esau (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah.

15 These [were] [the] chiefs of [the] sons of Esau [the] sons of Eliphaz [the] firstborn of Esau chief Teman chief Omar chief Zepho chief Kenaz.
Nao aya nĩo maarĩ anene thĩinĩ wa njiaro cia Esaũ: Ariũ a Elifazu irigithathi rĩa Esaũ: Anene maarĩ Temani, na Omari, na Zefo, na Kenazu,
16 Chief Korah chief Gatam chief Amalek these [were] [the] chiefs of Eliphaz in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Adah.
na Kora, na Gatamu, na Amaleki. Acio nĩo anene arĩa Elifazu aaciarĩire kũu Edomu; maarĩ a mũrũ wa Ada.
17 And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel [the] son of Esau chief Nahath chief Zerah chief Shammah chief Mizzah these [were] [the] chiefs of Reuel in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.

18 And these [were] [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] wife of Esau chief Jeush chief Jalam chief Korah these [were] [the] chiefs of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] wife of Esau.
Ariũ a Oholibama mũtumia wa Esaũ: Anene maarĩ Jeushu, na Jalamu, na Kora. Aya nĩo anene arĩa maaciarirwo nĩ Oholibama mũtumia wa Esaũ mwarĩ wa Ana.
19 These [were] [the] sons of Esau and these [were] chiefs their that [is] Edom.
Aya nĩo maarĩ ariũ a Esaũ (na nowe Edomu), na acio nĩo maarĩ anene ao.
20 These [were] [the] sons of Seir the Horite [the] inhabitants of the land Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah.
Aya nĩo maarĩ ariũ a Seiru ũrĩa Mũhori arĩa maatũũraga bũrũri ũcio: Lotani, na Shobali, na Zibeoni, na Ana,
21 And Dishon and Ezer and Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] [the] sons of Seir in [the] land of Edom.
na Dishoni, na Ezeri, na Dishani. Ariũ acio a Seiru nĩo maarĩ anene a Ahori kũu Edomu.
22 And they were [the] sons of Lotan Hori and Hemam and [the] sister of Lotan [was] Timna.

23 And these [were] [the] sons of Shobal Alvan and Manahath and Ebal Shepho and Onam.
Ariũ a Shobali maarĩ: Alivani, na Manahathu, na Ebali, na Shefo, na Onamu.
24 And these [were] [the] sons of Zibeon and Aiah and Anah he [was] Anah who he found the hot springs in the wilderness when was pasturing he the donkeys of Zibeon father his.
Ariũ a Zibeoni maarĩ: Aia, na Ana. Ũyũ nĩwe Ana ũrĩa wonire ithima cia maaĩ mahiũ werũ-inĩ rĩrĩa arĩithagia ndigiri cia ithe Zibeoni.
25 And these [were] [the] children of Anah Dishon and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah.

26 And these [were] [the] sons of Dishan Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Keran.

27 These [were] [the] sons of Ezer Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
Ariũ a Ezeri maarĩ: Bilihani, na Zaavani, na Akani.
28 These [were] [the] sons of Dishan Uz and Aran.
Ariũ a Dishani maarĩ Uzu, na Arani.
29 These [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] chief Lotan chief Shobal chief Zibeon chief Anah.
Aya nĩo maarĩ anene a Ahori: nĩ Lotani, na Shobali, na Zibeoni, na Ana,
30 Chief Dishon chief Ezer chief Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] to chiefs their in [the] land of Seir.
na Dishoni, na Ezeri, na Dishani. Acio nĩo maarĩ anene a Ahori, kũringana na ikundi ciao kũu bũrũri wa Seiru.
31 And these [were] the kings who they reigned in [the] land of Edom before reigned a king of [the] people of Israel.

32 And he reigned in Edom Bela [the] son of Beor and [the] name of city his [was] Dinhabah.

33 And he died Bela and he reigned in place of him Jobab [the] son of Zerah from Bozrah.

34 And he died Jobab and he reigned in place of him Husham from [the] land of the Temanite[s].
Rĩrĩa Jobabu aakuire, Hushamu wa kuuma bũrũri wa Atemani agĩtuĩka mũthamaki ithenya rĩake.
35 And he died Husham and he reigned in place of him Hadad [the] son of Bedad who defeated Midian in [the] region of Moab and [the] name of city his [was] Avith.
Rĩrĩa Hushamu aakuire, Hadadi mũrũ wa Bedadi, ũrĩa wahootire Midiani kũu bũrũri wa Moabi, agĩtuĩka mũthamaki ithenya rĩake. Itũũra rĩake inene rĩetagwo Avithu.
36 And he died Hadad and he reigned in place of him Samlah from Masrekah.

37 And he died Samlah and he reigned in place of him Shaul from Rehoboth the River.
Rĩrĩa Samala aakuire, Shauli wa kuuma Rehobothu, kũu gũkuhĩ na Rũũĩ rwa Farati, agĩtuĩka mũthamaki ithenya rĩake.
38 And he died Shaul and he reigned in place of him Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor.

39 And he died Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor and he reigned in place of him Hadar and [the] name of city his [was] Pau and [the] name of wife his [was] Mehetabel [the] daughter of Matred [the] daughter of Me-Zahab.
Rĩrĩa Baali-Hanani mũrũ wa Akibori aakuire, Hadadi agĩtuĩka mũthamaki ithenya rĩake. Itũũra rĩake inene rĩetagwo Pau, na mũtumia wake eetagwo Mehetabeli mwarĩ wa Matiredi, ũrĩa warĩ mwarĩ wa Mezahabu.
40 And these [were] [the] names of [the] chiefs of Esau to clans their to places their by names their chief Timna chief Alvah chief Jetheth.
Aya nĩo maarĩ anene kuuma kũrĩ njiaro cia Esaũ, kũringana na marĩĩtwa mao, na mĩhĩrĩga, na ngʼongo ciao: Timina, na Aliva, na Jethethu,
41 Chief Oholibamah chief Elah chief Pinon.
na Oholibama, na Ela, na Pinoni,
42 Chief Kenaz chief Teman chief Mibzar.
na Kenazu, na Temani, na Mibizaru,
43 Chief Magdiel chief Iram these - [were] [the] chiefs of Edom to dwelling places their in [the] land of possession their that [was] Esau [the] ancestor of Edom.
