Genesis 36
1 And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau that [is] Edom.
Esau (ame si wogayɔna hã be Edom) la ƒe dzidzimeviwo yi ale:
2 Esau he took wives his from [the] daughters of Canaan Adah [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon the Hivite.
Esau ɖe Kanaan nyɔnu etɔ̃: Ada, Hititɔ Elon ƒe vi, Oholibama, Ana ƒe vi kple Hivitɔ Zibeon ƒe tɔgbuiyɔvi kpakple
3 And Basemath [the] daughter of Ishmael [the] sister of Nebaioth.
Basemat, Ismael ƒe vinyɔnu si nye Nebayɔt nɔvinyɔnu.
4 And she bore Adah to Esau Eliphaz and Basemath she bore Reuel.
Esau kple Ada dzi viŋutsu ɖeka si ŋkɔe nye Elifaz. Esau kple Basemat dzi viŋutsu si ŋkɔe nye Reuel.
5 And Oholibamah she bore (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah these [were] [the] sons of Esau who they were born to him in [the] land of Canaan.
Esau kple Oholibama dzi viŋutsu siwo ƒe ŋkɔwoe nye Yeus, Yalam kple Korah. Wodzi vi siawo katã na Esau le Kanaanyigba dzi.
6 And he took Esau wives his and sons his and daughters his and all [the] people of household his and livestock his and all animal[s] his and all possession[s] his which he had accumulated in [the] land of Canaan and he went to a land [away] from before Jacob brother his.
Esau kplɔ srɔ̃awo, viŋutsuwo kple vinyɔnuwo kpakple subɔla siwo le eƒe aƒe me, kple lãhawo kple kesinɔnu siwo katã wòkpɔ le Kanaanyigba dzi la, eye wòʋu le nɔvia Yakob gbɔ.
7 For it was possession[s] their [too] much for dwelling together and not it was able [the] land of sojournings their to support them because of livestock their.
Woƒe nunɔamesiwo sɔ gbɔ ale gbegbe be womagate ŋu anɔ teƒe ɖeka o. Anyigba si dzi wole la megalolo na wo ame eveawo o le woƒe lãhawo ta.
8 And he dwelt Esau in [the] hill country of Seir Esau that [is] Edom.
Ale Esau, ame si wogayɔna be Edom la yi ɖanɔ tonyigba dzi le Seir.
9 And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau [the] ancestor of Edom in [the] hill country of Seir.

10 These [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Esau Eliphaz [the] son of Adah [the] wife of Esau Reuel [the] son of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.

11 And they were [the] sons of Eliphaz Teman Omar Zepho and Gatam and Kenaz.
Elifaz ƒe viŋutsuwoe nye: Teman, Omar, Zefo, Gatam kple Kenaz.
12 And Timna - she was a concubine of Eliphaz [the] son of Esau and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek these [were] [the] sons of Adah [the] wife of Esau.
Timna si nye Elifaz, Esau ƒe viŋutsu ƒe ahiãvi la dzi Amalek. Ame siawoe nye Ada, Esau srɔ̃ ƒe viwo.
13 And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel Nahath and Zerah Shammah and Mizzah these they were [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
Reuel ƒe viŋutsuwoe nye: Nahat, Zera, Sama kple Miza. Ame siawoe nye Esau ƒe tɔgbuiyɔviwo to srɔ̃a Basemat dzi.
14 And these they were [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon [the] wife of Esau and she bore to Esau (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah.
Esau srɔ̃ Oholibama, Ana ƒe vinyɔnu kple Zibeon ƒe mamayɔvi si wodzi na Esau la dzi Yeus, Yalam kple Korah.
15 These [were] [the] chiefs of [the] sons of Esau [the] sons of Eliphaz [the] firstborn of Esau chief Teman chief Omar chief Zepho chief Kenaz.

16 Chief Korah chief Gatam chief Amalek these [were] [the] chiefs of Eliphaz in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Adah.

17 And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel [the] son of Esau chief Nahath chief Zerah chief Shammah chief Mizzah these [were] [the] chiefs of Reuel in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.

18 And these [were] [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] wife of Esau chief Jeush chief Jalam chief Korah these [were] [the] chiefs of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] wife of Esau.
Esau srɔ̃ Oholibama ƒe viŋutsuwo nye fia siawo: Yeus, Yalam kple Korah. Wodzɔ tso Esau srɔ̃ Oholibama, Ana ƒe vinyɔnu me.
19 These [were] [the] sons of Esau and these [were] chiefs their that [is] Edom.
Ame siawo nye Esau alo Edom ƒe viŋutsuwo, eye ame siawoe nye woƒe fiawo.
20 These [were] [the] sons of Seir the Horite [the] inhabitants of the land Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah.
Ame siawo nye Seir, Horitɔ la ƒe viŋutsuwo, ame siwo nɔ nuto la me: Lotan, Sobal, Zibeon, Ana,
21 And Dishon and Ezer and Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] [the] sons of Seir in [the] land of Edom.
Dison, Ezer kple Disan. Wonye viŋutsuwo na Horitɔ Seir le Edom, eye wonye fiawo.
22 And they were [the] sons of Lotan Hori and Hemam and [the] sister of Lotan [was] Timna.
Lotan ƒe viwoe nye, Hori kple Heman. Timna nye Lotan nɔvinyɔnu.
23 And these [were] [the] sons of Shobal Alvan and Manahath and Ebal Shepho and Onam.
Sobal ƒe viŋutsuwoe nye: Alvan, Manahat, Ebal, Sefo kple Onam.
24 And these [were] [the] sons of Zibeon and Aiah and Anah he [was] Anah who he found the hot springs in the wilderness when was pasturing he the donkeys of Zibeon father his.
Zibeon ƒe viwoe nye: Aya kple Ana. (Eyae fɔ tsi dzidzi xɔdzo aɖe ƒe vudo le gbegbe esime wònɔ fofoa ƒe tedziwo kplɔm.)
25 And these [were] [the] children of Anah Dishon and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah.
Ana ƒe viwoe nye: Dison kple Oholibama.
26 And these [were] [the] sons of Dishan Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Keran.
Dison ƒe viwoe nye: Hemdan, Esban, Itran kple Keran.
27 These [were] [the] sons of Ezer Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
Ezer ƒe viwoe nye: Bilhan, Zaavan kple Akan.
28 These [were] [the] sons of Dishan Uz and Aran.
Disan ƒe viŋutsuwoe nye: Uz kple Aran.
29 These [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] chief Lotan chief Shobal chief Zibeon chief Anah.
Ame siawoe nye Horitɔwo ƒe fiawo. Lotan, Sobal, Zibeon, Ana,
30 Chief Dishon chief Ezer chief Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] to chiefs their in [the] land of Seir.
Dison, Ezer kple Disan. Ame siawoe nye Horitɔwo ƒe fiawo le woƒe tokɔ vovovoawo nu le Seirnyigba dzi.
31 And these [were] the kings who they reigned in [the] land of Edom before reigned a king of [the] people of Israel.
Ame siwo ɖu fia le Edom hafi woɖo Israel fiaɖuƒe la gɔme anyi la woe nye:
32 And he reigned in Edom Bela [the] son of Beor and [the] name of city his [was] Dinhabah.
Beor ƒe vi Bela si ɖu fia le Edom. Du si me wònɔ la ŋkɔe nye Dinhaba.
33 And he died Bela and he reigned in place of him Jobab [the] son of Zerah from Bozrah.
Esi Bela ku la, Yobab, Zera ƒe vi si tso Bozra la zu fia.
34 And he died Jobab and he reigned in place of him Husham from [the] land of the Temanite[s].
Esi Yobab ku la, Husam si tso Temanitɔwo ƒe anyigba dzi la ɖu fia ɖe eteƒe.
35 And he died Husham and he reigned in place of him Hadad [the] son of Bedad who defeated Midian in [the] region of Moab and [the] name of city his [was] Avith.
Hadad, Bedad ƒe vi, ame si ɖu Midiantɔwo dzi le Moabnyigba dzi la ɖu fia le Husam ƒe ku megbe. Eƒe fiadue nye Avit.
36 And he died Hadad and he reigned in place of him Samlah from Masrekah.

37 And he died Samlah and he reigned in place of him Shaul from Rehoboth the River.

38 And he died Shaul and he reigned in place of him Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor.

39 And he died Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor and he reigned in place of him Hadar and [the] name of city his [was] Pau and [the] name of wife his [was] Mehetabel [the] daughter of Matred [the] daughter of Me-Zahab.
Esi Baal Hanan, Akbor ƒe viŋutsu la hã ku la, Hadad ɖu fia ɖe eteƒe, eye eƒe fiadue nye Pau. Srɔ̃a ŋkɔe nye Mehetabel, Matred ƒe vinyɔnu kple Mezahab ƒe mamayɔvi.
40 And these [were] [the] names of [the] chiefs of Esau to clans their to places their by names their chief Timna chief Alvah chief Jetheth.

41 Chief Oholibamah chief Elah chief Pinon.

42 Chief Kenaz chief Teman chief Mibzar.

43 Chief Magdiel chief Iram these - [were] [the] chiefs of Edom to dwelling places their in [the] land of possession their that [was] Esau [the] ancestor of Edom.
