Genesis 32
1 And Jacob he went to way his and they met him [the] angels of God.
౧యాకోబు తన దారిలో వెళ్తూ ఉండగా దేవదూతలు అతనికి ఎదురయ్యారు.
2 And he said Jacob just when he saw them [is] [the] camp of God this and he called [the] name of the place that Mahanaim.
౨యాకోబు వారిని చూసి “ఇది దేవుని సేన” అని చెప్పి ఆ చోటికి మహనయీము అని పేరు పెట్టాడు.
3 And he sent Jacob messengers before him to Esau brother his [the] land of towards Seir [the] region of Edom.
౩యాకోబు ఎదోము ప్రాంతంలో, అంటే శేయీరు దేశంలో ఉన్న తన సోదరుడు ఏశావు దగ్గరికి తనకు ముందుగా దూతలను పంపి,
4 And he commanded them saying thus you will say! to lord my to Esau thus he says servant your Jacob with Laban I have sojourned and I have delayed until now.
౪“మీరు నా ప్రభువైన ఏశావుతో, ‘ఇంతవరకూ నేను లాబాను దగ్గర నివసించాను.
5 And it be[longs] to me ox[en] and donkey[s] flock[s] and [male] servant[s] and female servant[s] and I have sent! to tell to lord my to find favor in view your.
౫నాకు పశువులూ గాడిదలూ మందలూ దాసదాసీజనమూ ఉన్నారు. నీ అనుగ్రహం నాపైనఉండాలని నా ప్రభువుకు తెలపడానికి పంపాను అని నీ సేవకుడైన యాకోబు అన్నాడు’ అని చెప్పండి” అని వారికి ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు.
6 And they returned the messengers to Jacob saying we went to brother your to Esau and also [he is] coming to meet you and four hundred man [are] with him.
౬ఆ దూతలు యాకోబు దగ్గరికి తిరిగివచ్చి “మేము నీ సోదరుడైన ఏశావు దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళాం, అతడు నాలుగు వందల మందితో నీకు ఎదురు వస్తున్నాడు” అని చెప్పారు.
7 And he was afraid Jacob exceedingly and it was distress to him and he divided the people which [was] with him and the flock and the herd and the camels into two camps.
౭అప్పుడు యాకోబు చాలా భయపడి, హతాశుడై,
8 And he said if he will come Esau to the camp one and he will attack it and it will become the camp which remains an escaped remnant.
౮“ఏశావు ఒక గుంపు మీదికి వచ్చి దాన్ని హతం చేస్తే మిగిలిన గుంపు తప్పించుకుని పోవచ్చు” అనుకుని, తనతో ఉన్న ప్రజలనూ మందలనూ పశువులనూ ఒంటెలనూ రెండు గుంపులు చేశాడు.
9 And he said Jacob O God of father my Abraham and [the] God of father my Isaac O Yahweh who said to me return to land your and to kindred your so let me do good with you.
౯అప్పుడు యాకోబు “నా తండ్రి అబ్రాహాము దేవా, నా తండ్రి ఇస్సాకు దేవా, ‘నీ దేశానికీ, నీ బంధువుల దగ్గరికీ తిరిగి వెళ్ళు, నీకు మేలు చేస్తాను’ అని నాతో చెప్పిన యెహోవా,
10 I am [too] insignificant for all the covenant loyalti and for all the faithfulness which you have done with servant your for with staff my I passed over the Jordan this and now I have become two camps.
౧౦నువ్వు నీ సేవకుడికి చేసిన ఉపకారాలన్నిటికీ నమ్మకత్వమంతటికీ నేను పాత్రుణ్ణి కాను. ఎందుకంటే, కేవలం ఈ నా చేతి కర్రతో ఈ యొర్దాను దాటాను. ఇప్పుడు నేను రెండు గుంపులయ్యాను.
11 Deliver me please from [the] hand of brother my from [the] hand of Esau for [am] fearing I him lest he should come and he will attack me mother with children.
౧౧నా సోదరుడు ఏశావు చేతి నుండి దయచేసి నన్ను తప్పించు. అతడు వచ్చి పిల్లలనీ వారి తల్లులనూ నన్నూ చంపుతాడేమో అని భయపడుతున్నాను.
12 And you you have said certainly I will do good with you and I will make offspring your like [the] sand of the sea which not it will be counted from multitude.
౧౨నాతో, ‘నేను నీకు తోడై తప్పకుండా మేలు చేస్తూ వారి సంఖ్యను బట్టి లెక్కించలేని సముద్రపు ఇసకలాగా నీ సంతానాన్ని విస్తరింపజేస్తాను’ అని నువ్వు సెలవిచ్చావు కదా” అన్నాడు.
13 And he stayed [the] night there in the night that and he took some of which came in hand his a gift for Esau brother his.
౧౩అతడు అక్కడ ఆ రాత్రి గడిపి తాను సంపాదించిన దానిలో తన అన్న ఏశావు కోసం ఒక కానుకను సిద్ధం చేశాడు.
14 Female goats two hundred and male goats twenty ewes two hundred and rams twenty.
౧౪అతడు రెండువందల మేకలూ ఇరవై మేక పోతులూ రెండువందల గొర్రెలూ ఇరవై పొట్టేళ్ళూ
15 Camels suckling and young their thirty cows forty and bulls ten female donkeys twenty and male donkeys ten.
౧౫ముప్ఫై పాడి ఒంటెలూ వాటి పిల్లలూ నలభై ఆవులూ పది ఆబోతులూ ఇరవై ఆడ గాడిదలూ పది గాడిద పిల్లలూ తీసుకు మందమందను వేరు వేరుగా ఉంచాడు.
16 And he gave [them] in [the] hand of servants his herd herd to only it and he said to servants his pass over before me and a space you will put between a herd and between a herd.
౧౬వాటిని అతడు తన దాసులకు అప్పగించి “మీరు మంద మందకు మధ్య ఖాళీ ఉంచి నాకంటే ముందుగా నడవండి” అని వారితో చెప్పాడు.
17 And he commanded the first saying that he will meet you Esau brother my and he will ask you saying [belong] to whom? you and where? are you going and [belong] to whom? these [animals] before you.
౧౭వారిలో మొదటివాడితో “నా సోదరుడు ఏశావు నీకు ఎదురుగా వచ్చి, ‘నీవెవరి వాడివి? ఎక్కడికి వెళ్తున్నావు? నీ ముందు ఉన్నవి ఎవరివి?’ అని నిన్ను అడిగితే
18 And you will say to servant your to Jacob [is] a gift it [which has] been sent to lord my to Esau and there! also he [is] behind us.
౧౮నువ్వు, ‘ఇవి నీ సేవకుడైన యాకోబువి, ఇది నా ప్రభువైన ఏశావు కోసం అతడు పంపిన కానుక. అదిగో అతడు మా వెనక వస్తున్నాడు’ అని చెప్పు” అని ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు.
19 And he commanded both the second as well as the third as well as all who were going behind the herds saying according to the manner this you will speak! to Esau when find you him.
౧౯“నేను ముందుగా పంపుతున్న కానుకల వలన అతనిని శాంతింపజేసిన తరువాత నేను అతనికి కనబడతాను. అప్పుడతడు ఒకవేళ నా పైన దయ చూపుతాడేమో.
20 And you will say also there! servant your Jacob [is] behind us for he said I will cover face his by the gift that is going before me and after thus I will see face his perhaps he will lift up face my.
౨౦కాబట్టి మీరు ఏశావును చూసి, ‘ఇదిగో నీ సేవకుడైన యాకోబు మా వెనకాలే వస్తున్నాడు’ అని చెప్పాలి” అని వారికి చెప్పాడు. రెండవ గుంపుకు, మూడవ గుంపుకు, మందల వెంబడి వెళ్ళిన వారికందరికీ అతడు ఇదే విధంగా ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు.
21 And it passed on the gift on face his and he [was] staying [the] night in the night that in the camp.
౨౧అతడు ఆ కానుకను తనకు ముందుగా పంపి తాను గుంపులో ఆ రాత్రి నిలిచిపోయాడు.
22 And he rose - in the night that and he took [the] two wives his and [the] two maidservants his and one [plus] ten sons his and he passed over [the] ford of Jabbok.
౨౨ఆ రాత్రి అతడు లేచి తన ఇద్దరు భార్యలనూ తన ఇద్దరు దాసీలనీ తన పదకొండు మంది పిల్లలనూ తీసుకు యబ్బోకు రేవు దాటిపోయాడు.
23 And he took them and he sent over them the wadi and he sent over [that] which [belonged] to him.
౨౩యాకోబు వారిని ఆ యేరు దాటించి తనకు కలిగిందంతా వారితో పంపేశాడు.
24 And he remained Jacob to only him and he wrestled a man with him until came up the dawn.
౨౪యాకోబు ఒక్కడు మిగిలి పోయాడు. ఒక మనిషి తెల్లవారేదాకా అతనితో పెనుగులాడాడు.
25 And he saw that not he prevailed to him and he touched [the] socket of thigh his and it was dislocated [the] socket of [the] thigh of Jacob when wrestled he with him.
౨౫తాను గెలవకపోవడం చూసి అతడు యాకోబు తొడ గూటి మీద కొట్టాడు. అప్పుడు ఆయనతో పెనుగులాడ్డం వలన యాకోబు తొడ గూడు జారిపోయింది.
26 And he said let go me for it has come up the dawn and he said not I will let go you that except you have blessed me.
౨౬ఆయన “తెల్లవారుతున్నది, నన్ను పోనియ్యి” అన్నప్పుడు, యాకోబు “నువ్వు నన్ను ఆశీర్వదిస్తేనే గాని నిన్ను పోనియ్యను” అన్నాడు.
27 And he said to him what? [is] name your and he said Jacob.
౨౭ఆయన “నీ పేరేమిటి?” అని అడిగాడు. అతడు “యాకోబు” అని చెప్పాడు.
28 And he said not Jacob it will be called again name your that except Israel for you have struggled with God and with people and you have prevailed.
౨౮అప్పుడాయన “నువ్వు దేవునితో, మనుషులతో పోరాడి గెలిచావు. కాబట్టి ఇక ముందు నీ పేరు ఇశ్రాయేలు, యాకోబు కాదు” అని చెప్పాడు.
29 And he asked Jacob and he said tell! please name your and he said why? this do you ask to name my and he blessed him there.
౨౯అప్పుడు యాకోబు “దయచేసి నీ పేరు చెప్పు” అన్నాడు. అందుకాయన “నా పేరు ఎందుకు అడుగుతావు?” అని చెప్పి అక్కడ అతణ్ణి ఆశీర్వదించాడు.
30 And he called Jacob [the] name of the place Peniel for I have seen God face to face and it has been delivered life my.
౩౦యాకోబు “నేను ముఖాముఖిగా దేవుణ్ణి చూశాను. అయినా నా ప్రాణం నిలిచింది” అని ఆ స్థలానికి “పెనూయేలు” అని పేరు పెట్టాడు.
31 And it rose to him the sun just when he passed over Penuel and he [was] limping on thigh his.
౩౧అతడు పెనూయేలు నుండి బయలుదేరి నప్పుడు సూర్యోదయం అయ్యింది. అతడు తొడ కుంటుతూ నడిచాడు.
32 There-fore not they eat [the] people of Israel [the] sinew of the tendon which [is] on [the] socket of the thigh until the day this for he touched [the] socket of [the] thigh of Jacob [the] sinew of the tendon.
౩౨ఆయన యాకోబు తొడగూటి మీది తుంటినరంపై కొట్టి గూడు వసిలేలా చేసాడు కాబట్టి ఈనాటి వరకూ ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తొడ గూటి మీద ఉన్న తుంటినరాన్ని తినరు.
