< Genesis 30 >
1 And she saw Rachel that not she had borne children to Jacob and she was jealous Rachel of sister her and she said to Jacob give! to me children and if not [am] about to die I.
Jakob han caa maeto doeh sah pae ai, tito Rachel mah panoek naah, Rachel mah amya to ut; to pongah Jakob khaeah, Nawkta to na paek ah, to tih ai nahaeloe ka duek han boeh, tiah a naa.
2 And it burned [the] anger of Jacob on Rachel and he said ¿ in place of God [am] I who he has withheld from you fruit of [the] womb.
Jakob loe Rachel nuiah palungphui moe, anih khaeah, Kai loe nang caa kaaksak thaih Sithaw ah maw ka oh? tiah a naa.
3 And she said here! maidservant my Bilhah go into her so she may bear children on knees my so I may be built up also I from her.

4 And she gave to him Bilhah maidservant her to a wife and he went into her Jacob.

5 And she conceived Bilhah and she bore to Jacob a son.

6 And she said Rachel he has vindicated me God and also he has listened to voice my and he has given to me a son there-fore she called name his Dan.

7 And she conceived again and she bore Bilhah [the] maidservant of Rachel a son second to Jacob.
Rachel ih tamna Billah loe zokpomh let moe, Jakob hanah capa maeto sak pae let.
8 And she said Rachel wrestling of God - I have wrestled with sister my also I have prevailed and she called name his Naphtali.
Rachel mah, Kamya hoi kang pan hoi moe, ka pazawk boeh, tiah thuih. To pongah anih mah Naphtali, tiah ahmin sak.
9 And she saw Leah that she had stopped from bearing children and she took Zilpah maidservant her and she gave her to Jacob to a wife.
Leah mah doeh caa ka sah ai boeh, tiah panoek naah, a tamna Zilpah to caeh haih moe, Jakob han zu ah paek.
10 And she bore Zilpah [the] maidservant of Leah to Jacob a son.
Leah ih tamna Zilpah mah Jakob han capa maeto sak pae.
11 And she said Leah (it has come good fortune *Q(K)*) and she called name his Gad.
To naah Leah mah, Misatuh kami abu to angzoh, tiah thuih; to pongah anih mah Gad, tiah ahmin phui.
12 And she bore Zilpah [the] maidservant of Leah a son second to Jacob.
Leah ih tamna Zilpah mah Jakob hanah capa maeto sak pae let.
13 And she said Leah in happiness my for they will call happy me daughters and she called name his Asher.
To naah Leah mah, Kang hoe parai, nongpatanawk mah tahamhoih kami, tiah na kawk o tih, tiah thuih pongah, Asher, tiah ahmin phui.
14 And he went Reuben in [the] days of [the] harvest of wheat and he found mandrakes in the field and he brought them to Leah mother his and she said Rachel to Leah give please to me some of [the] mandrakes of son your.

15 And she said to her ¿ small taking you husband my and to take also [the] mandrakes of son my and she said Rachel therefore he will lie with you this night for [the] mandrakes of son your.

16 And he came Jacob from the field in the evening and she went out Leah to meet him and she said into me you will come for certainly I have hired you for [the] mandrakes of son my and he lay with her in the night that.

17 And he listened God to Leah and she conceived and she bore to Jacob a son fifth.

18 And she said Leah he has given God reward my that I gave maidservant my to husband my and she called name his Issachar.
To naah Leah mah, Ka tamna nongpata to ka sava hanah ka paek pongah, Sithaw mah kai han tangqum ang paek, tiah thuih; to pongah anih to Issakar, tiah ahmin phui.
19 And she conceived again Leah and she bore a son sixth to Jacob.
To pacoengah Leah loe zokpomh let, Jakob hanah capa tarukto haih sak pae let.
20 And she said Leah he has endowed me God - me an endowment good this time he will honor me husband my for I have borne to him six sons and she called name his Zebulun.
To naah Leah mah, Sithaw mah atho kana tangqum kai han ang paek boeh, ka sava hanah capa tarukto ka sak pae boeh pongah, vaihi loe kai khaeah ni om tih boeh, tiah thuih; to pongah anih to Zebulun, tiah ahmin sak.
21 And after she bore a daughter and she called name her Dinah.

22 And he remembered God Rachel and he listened to her God and he opened womb her.

23 And she conceived and she bore a son and she said he has removed God reproach my.

24 And she called name his Joseph saying may he add Yahweh to me a son another.
to pongah anih ih ahmin to Joseph, tiah sak; Angraeng mah kalah capa na paek let nasoe, tiah a thuih.
25 And it was just as she had borne Rachel Joseph and he said Jacob to Laban send off me so let me go to place my and to land my.
Rachel mah Joseph tapen pacoengah loe, Jakob mah Laban khaeah, Ka ohhaih ahmuen, ka prae ah, na caehsak lai ah.
26 Give! wives my and children my whom I have served you for them so I may go for you you know service my which I have served you.

27 And he said to him Laban if please I have found favor in view your I have learned by divination and he has blessed me Yahweh on account of you.
Toe Laban mah anih khaeah, Na mikcuk naakrak ah ka oh nahaeloe, om raeh; nang pongah ni Angraeng mah tahamhoihaih ang paek, tito ka panoek, tiah a naa.
28 And he said designate! wage[s] your on me so let me give [it].
To pacoengah, Na toksakhaih atho thui ah kang paek han hmang, tiah a naa.
29 And he said to him you you know how I have served you and how it has been livestock your with me.
Jakob mah anih khaeah, Kawbang maw tok kang sak pae moe, na pacah ih moinawk doeh ka ban thungah kawbang maw pung o, tito na panoek boeh.
30 For a little which it be[longed] to you before me and it has increased to abundance and he has blessed Yahweh you to foot my and now when? will I work also I for own household my.
Kai kang zo ai naah hmuen zetta ni na tawnh, vaihi loe pung parai boeh; kai kang zoh nathuem hoi kamtong Angraeng mah tahamhoihaih ang paek boeh; kaimah ih imthung takoh hanah loe natuek naah maw tok ka sah tih boeh? tiah a naa.
31 And he said what? will I give to you and he said Jacob not you will give to me anything if you will do for me the thing this I will return I will tend flock your I will protect [it].
Anih mah, To tih nahaeloe timaw kang paek han? tiah a naa. Jakob mah, Tidoeh na paek hmah; toe ka koeh baktiah nang sak pae nahaeloe, nang ih tuunawk to kang toep pae poe han.
32 Let me pass in all flock your this day I will remove from there every sheep - speckled and spotted and every sheep dark among the lambs and [the] spotted and [the] speckled among the goats and it will be wage[s] my.
Vaihniah nang tuu pacahhaih ahmuen ah ka caeh moe, aem kaom tuunawk, kamnum hoi kanglung angbaeh tuunawk hoi aem kaom maeh caanawk to ka tapraek han; aem kaom maeh, kamnum hoi kanglung angbaeh tuunawk loe ka toksakhaih atho ah om nasoe.
33 And it will testify for me righteousness my on a day in future time for you will come on wage[s] my before you all that not [is] it speckled and spotted among the goats and dark among the lambs [is] stolen it with me.
To tiah ni hmabang ah ka toksakhaih atho na hmaa ah phak naah, ka toenghaih mah kai han lok na thui tih; kai taham moinawk thungah aem kaom ai maeh, kamnum hoi kanglung angbaeh ai tuucaanawk om nahaeloe, to maeh hoi tuu loe kai mah paquk, tiah amnoek thai tih, tiah a naa.
34 And he said Laban there! if let it be according to word your.
Laban mah, Khenah, na thuih ih lok baktiah om nasoe, tiah a naa.
35 And he removed on the day that the male goats striped and spotted and all the female goats speckled and spotted all that white [was] on it and every dark [one] among the lambs and he gave [them] in [the] hand of sons his.

36 And he put a journey of three days between himself and between Jacob and Jacob [was] pasturing [the] flock of Laban which remained.

37 And he took for himself Jacob branch[es] of poplar freshly cut and almond and plane tree and he stripped on them strips white [the] peeling of the white [wood] which [was] on the branches.

38 And he placed the branches which he had stripped in the drinking troughs in [the] watering channels of water which they came the flock to drink to before the flock and they mated when came they to drink.

39 And they mated the flock to the branches and they bore the flock striped [ones] speckled [ones] and spotted [ones].
To naah a suek ih thing hmaa ah tuunawk to apaa cuuk o, to pongah caa tapen naah doeh aem kaom ah tacawt boih.
40 And the lambs he separated Jacob and he set [the] faces of the flock to [the] striped and every dark [one] among [the] flock of Laban and he made for himself flocks to only him and not he put them with [the] flock of Laban.
Jakob mah tuucaanawk hoi maeh caanawk to ahmuen kalah ah tapraek moe, aem kaom tuu hoi maeh, kamnum hoi kamling angbaeh tuu hoi maehnawk to Laban ih tuu pacahhaih ahmuen bangah angqoisak; to tiah Laban ih tuu hoi angmah ih tuunawk to angbaeh han ai ah a suek.
41 And it was in all [the] being in heat of the sheep vigorous [female] and he put out Jacob the branches to [the] eyes of the sheep in the drinking troughs to mate her at the branches.
Thacak tuunawk apa cuuk han koeh o naah, ahin saih ih thing taengah apa cuuk o pongah, Jakob mah ahin saih ih thing to tui paekhaih okduk hmaa ah suek pae.
42 And when was feeble the sheep not he put [them] out and it was the enfeebled ones [belonged] to Laban and the vigorous [ones] [belonged] to Jacob.
Toe tuunawk thazok o naah loe, ahin saih ih thing to suem pae ai; to pongah thazok tuunawk loe Laban ih tuu ah oh moe, thacak tuunawk loe Jakob ih tuu ah oh o.
43 And he increased the man very very and it be[longed] to him sheep many and female servants and [male] servants and camels and donkeys.
To tiah Jakob loe angraeng parai; tuunawk, maehnawk, tamna nongpa hoi nongpatanawk, kaengkuu hrang hoi laa hrangnawk a tawnh mang.
