< Genesis 27 >
1 And it was for he was old Isaac and they were [too] dim eyes his for seeing and he summoned Esau - son his old and he said to him O son my and he said to him here [am] I.
Issak loe mitong moe, miktha om ai boeh pongah, mik doeh amtueng ai boeh, to naah a capa kacoeh Esau to kawk moe, Ka capa, tiah a naa. Anih mah, Khenah, haeah ka oh, tiah a naa.
2 And he said here! please I am old not I know [the] day of death my.
Issak mah, Khenah, kai loe vaihi mitong boeh moe, natuek naah maw ka duek han, tito ka panoek ai.
3 And therefore take up please weapons your quiver your and bow your and go out the field and hunt! for me (wild game. *Q(K)*)
To pongah vaihi na sin ih hmuen, kalii hoi palaa to la ah; taw ah caeh ah loe, kai han moi na kat paeh.
4 And prepare for me savory food just as I love and bring [it]! to me so let me eat [it] in order that it may bless you self my before I will die.
Ka caak koeh ih moi to kakhraem ah thong ah loe, caak han ka hmaa ah na patoem ah; ka dueh ai naah tahamhoihaih kang paek han, tiah a naa.
5 And Rebekah [was] listening when spoke Isaac to Esau son his and he went Esau [to] the field to hunt wild game to bring [it].
Issak mah a capa Esau khae thuih ih lok to Rebekah mah thaih. To pongah Esau loe moi kah han taw ah caeh.
6 And Rebekah she said to Jacob son her saying here! I have heard father your speaking to Esau brother your saying.
Rebekah mah a capa Jakob khaeah, Khenah, Nam pa mah nam ya Esau khaeah,
7 Bring! to me wild game and prepare for me savory food so let me eat [it] so I may bless you before Yahweh before death my.
taw ih moi to kat ah loe kakhraem ah thongh pacoengah, ka caak hanah na sin ah; ka dueh ai naah Angraeng hmaa ah tahamhoihaih kang paek han, tiah thuih ih lok to ka thaih.
8 And therefore O son my listen to voice my to [that] which I [am] commanding you.
To pongah, Ka capa, vaihi kang thuih ih lok hae tahngai ah loe sah ah.
9 Go please to the flock and fetch for me from there two kids of goats good so I may prepare them savory food for father your just as he loves.
Vaihi tuu khongkha thungah caeh ah loe kahoih maeh caa hnetto la ah; nam pa mah koeh baktih toengah ka thongh pae han;
10 And you will bring [it] to father your and he will eat [it] in order that this he may bless you before death his.
to pacoengah nam pa caak hanah sin paeh, dueh ai naah tahamhoihaih na paek nasoe, tiah a naa.
11 And he said Jacob to Rebekah mother his here! Esau brother my [is] a man hairy and I [am] a man smooth.
Jakob mah amno Rebekah khaeah, Khenah, kam ya Esau loe ngnmui tawnh moe, kai loe nganmui ka tawn ai, tiah a naa.
12 Perhaps he will feel me father my and I will be in view his like a mocker and I will bring on myself a curse and not a blessing.
Pa mah na pathoep doeh om tih, to naah kai loe minawk aling kami baktiah ka om ueloe, tahamhoihaih hnu ai ah, tangoenghaih ka hnu lat tih, tiah a naa.
13 And she said to him mother his [be] on me curse your O son my only listen to voice my and go fetch [them] for me.
Amno mah anih khaeah, Ka capa, nang tangoenghaih loe ka nuiah krah nasoe; ka thuih ih lok hae tahngai ah loe, kahoih maeh caa to la ah, tiah a naa.
14 And he went and he fetched [them] and he brought [them] to mother his and she prepared mother his savory food just as he loved father his.
To pongah anih loe caeh moe, amno khaeah maeh caa to sinh pae; amno mah ampa caak koeh baktih toengah moi to thongh pae.
15 And she took Rebekah [the] clothes of Esau son her old the desirableness which [were] with her in the house and she clothed Jacob son her young.
To naah Rebekah mah a capa kacoeh Esau ih khukbuen kahoih to imthung ah lak moe, a capa kanawk Jakob to angkhuksak.
16 And [the] skins of [the] kids of the goats she clothed on hands his and on [the] smooth part of neck his.
To pacoengah Rebakah mah Jakob ih ban hoi tahnong to maeh caa ahin hoiah khuk pae.
17 And she put the savory food and the bread which she had prepared in [the] hand of Jacob son her.
To pacoengah a capa Jakob ban ah, caak khraem ah a thong het ih takaw hoi moi to a paek.
18 And he went to father his and he said O father my and he said here [am] I who? [are] you O son my.
Anih loe ampa khaeah caeh moe, Pa, tiah a naa. Anih mah, Haeah ka oh, ka capa, nang loe mi aa? tiah a naa.
19 And he said Jacob to father his I [am] Esau firstborn your I have done just as you said to me arise please sit! and eat! some of wild game my in order that may bless me self your.
Jakob mah ampa khaeah, Kai loe na calu Esau ni, nang thuih ih lok baktih toengah ka sak boeh; tahamhoihaih nang paek hanah, angthawk ah loe anghnut pacoengah, ka kah ih moi hae caa lai ah, tiah a naa.
20 And he said Isaac to son his what? this have you hastened to find [it] O son my and he said for he made happen Yahweh God your before me.
Issak mah a capa khaeah, Kawbang maw akra ai ah moi na hak thaih takan loe? Ka capa? tiah a naa. Anih mah, Na Angraeng Sithaw mah, ang haksak, tiah a naa.
21 And he said Isaac to Jacob draw near! please so I may feel you O son my ¿ [are] you this son my Esau or? not.
To naah Issak mah Jakob khaeah, Ka capa, kai khaeah angzo ah, Esau tangtang maw, tangtang ai, tito kang pathoep han vop, tiah a naa.
22 And he drew near Jacob to Isaac father his and he felt him and he said the voice [is] [the] voice of Jacob and the hands [are] [the] hands of Esau.
Jakob loe ampa Issak khaeah caeh, anih mah pathoep pacoengah, Lok loe Jakob ih lok, toe ban loe Esau ih ban ah oh, tiah a naa.
23 And not he recognized him for they were hands his like [the] hands of Esau brother his hairy and he blessed him.
Ban loe amya Esau ih ban baktiah amui oh pongah, anih mah panoek thai ai; to pongah anih han tahamhoihaih to a paek.
24 And he said [are] you? this son my Esau and he said I.
Anih mah, Nang hae ka capa Esau tangtang maw? tiah a naa. Anih mah, Ue, tiah a naa.
25 And he said bring [it] near! to me so let me eat some of [the] wild game of son my so that it may bless you self my and he brought [it] near to him and he ate and he brought to him wine and he drank.
To pacoengah anih mah, Tahamhoihaih kang paek hanah, na kah ih moi to caak han na sin ah, tiah a naa. Jakob mah moi to a taengah patoemh pae moe, a caak. To pacoengah misurtui doeh patoemh pae moe, a naek.
26 And he said to him Isaac father his draw near! please and kiss! me O son my.
To pacoengah ampa Issak mah anih khaeah, Ka capa, ka taengah angzo ah loe, na mok ah, tiah a naa.
27 And he drew near and he kissed him and he smelled [the] smell of clothes his and he blessed him and he said see [the] smell of son my [is] like [the] smell of a field which he has blessed it Yahweh.
Anih mah caeh moe, a mok. Issak mah khukbuen hmui to thaih naah, anih han tahamhoihaih a paek; khenah, ka capa ih hmui loe, Angraeng mah tahamhoihaih paek ih lawk hmui hoiah anghmong;
28 And may he give to you God some of [the] dew of the heavens and some of [the] fatness of the earth and abundance of grain and new wine.
to pongah Sithaw mah van ih dantui hoi kathawk long to paek nasoe loe, cang hoi misurtui doeh pungsak nasoe;
29 May they serve you peoples (and may they bow down *Q(K)*) to you peoples be lord to brothers your so may they bow down to you [the] sons of mother your [those who] curse you [be] cursed and [those who] bless you [be] blessed.
prae kaminawk boih mah nang ih tok to sah o nasoe loe, kaminawk na hmaa ah akuep o nasoe; nam nawkamyanawk nuiah angraeng ah om ah loe, nam no ih caanawk doeh na hmaa ah akuep o nasoe; nang tangoeng kaminawk loe tangoenghaih tongh o nasoe loe, nang tahamhoihaih paek kaminawk to tahamhoihaih hnu o nasoe, tiah a naa.
30 And it was just as he had finished Isaac to bless Jacob and it was surely certainly he had gone out Jacob from with [the] face of Isaac father his and Esau brother his he came from hunting his.
Issak mah Jakob tahamhoihaih paek pacoengah, ampa hmaa hoiah tacawt; akra ai ah Esau loe moi zoephaih ahmuen hoiah phak.
31 And he prepared also he savory food and he brought [it] to father his and he said to father his let him arise father my and let him eat some of [the] wild game of son his in order that may bless me self your.
Anih mah doeh moi to caak khraem ah thongh moe, ampa hanah patoem pae; ampa khaeah, Pa, tahamhoihaih nang paek hanah, angthawk ah loe ka kah ih moi hae caa ah, tiah a naa.
32 And he said to him Isaac father his who? [are] you and he said I [am] son your firstborn your Esau.
Ampa Issak mah anih khaeah, Nang loe mi aa? tiah a naa. Anih mah, Kai loe na calu, Esau ni, tiah a naa.
33 And he trembled Isaac trembling great up to muchness and he said who? then [is] he who hunted wild game and he brought [it] to me and I ate some of everything before you came and I blessed him also blessed he will be.
To naah Issak loe paroeai tasoeh moe, Moi kah moe, ka caak hanah moi sin kami loe naa ah maw oh? Nang, nang zo ai naah moi to ka caak ving boeh moe, anih han tahamhoihaih ka paek moeng boeh; tahamhoihaih loe anih mah ni hnu tih boeh, tiah a naa.
34 When heard Esau [the] words of father his and he cried a cry great and bitter up to muchness and he said to father his bless me also me O father my.
Esau mah ampa ih lok to thaih naah, tha hoi qah moe, ampa khaeah, Aw, pa, kai doeh tahamhoihaih na paek toeng ah, Pa, kai doeh, tahamhoihaih na paek toeng ah, tiah a naa.
35 And he said he came brother your with deceit and he took blessing your.
Toe anih mah, Nam nawk mah palunghahaih hoiah ang ling boeh moe, nang ih tahamhoihaih to lak boih boeh, tiah a naa.
36 And he said ¿ for did someone call name his Jacob and he has supplanted me this two times birthright my he took and here! now he has taken blessing my and he said ¿ not have you reserved for me a blessing.
Esau mah, angmah ih ahmin hoi kamcuk ah Jakob, tiah ahmin to phui roe boeh na ai maw? Vaihi a sak ih hmuen hoiah loe kai vai hnetto ang ling boeh; ka calu ah ohhaih to ang lomh pae moe, vaihi doeh tahamhoihaih ang lak pae ving let bae vop, tiah a thuih. To pacoengah anih khaeah, Kai han tahamhoihaih nang suem pae ai boeh maw? tiah a naa.
37 And he answered Isaac and he said to Esau here! lord I have appointed him to you and all brothers his I have given to him to servants and grain and new wine I have sustained him and for you then what? will I do O son my.
Issak mah Esau khaeah, Khenah, Anih loe nang ih angraeng ah ka sak moe, anih ih nawkamyanawk boih doeh anih ih tamna ah ka paek boeh; cang hoi misurtui doeh ka paek boeh; to pongah nang han timaw kang sak pae han loe? Ka capa, tiah a naa.
38 And he said Esau to father his ¿ [does] a blessing one it [belong] to you O father my bless me also me O father my and he lifted up Esau voice his and he wept.
Esau mah ampa khaeah, Tahamhoihaih maeto doeh na tawn ai boeh maw, pa? Pa, kai doeh tahamhoihaih na paek toeng ah, tiah a naa. To pacoengah Esau loe tha hoi qah.
39 And he answered Isaac father his and he said to him there! away from [the] fatness of the earth it will be dwelling your and away from [the] dew of the heavens above.
Ampa Issak mah anih han hae tiah lok pathim pae; khenah, Na ohhaih ahmuen loe kathawk long ah om ueloe, van bang hoiah dantui to krah tih.
40 And on sword your you will live and brother your you will serve and it will be just as you will be restless and you will tear off yoke his from on neck your.
Nang loe sumsen hoi kho na sah ueloe, nam nawk ih tok to na sah pae tih; toe ukhaih atue phak naah loe anih mah phawsak ih kazit hmuen to na tahnong nui hoiah nang khring tih, tiah a naa.
41 And he bore a grudge against Esau Jacob on the blessing which he had blessed him father his and he said Esau in heart his they will draw near [the] days of [the] mourning of father my and I will kill Jacob brother my.
Ampa mah Jakob han tahamhoihaih paek king boeh pongah, Esau mah Jakob to hnukma; pa duekhaih ni loe zoi boeh; to na niah kamnawk Jakob hae ka hum han, tiah a poek.
42 And it was told to Rebekah [the] words of Esau son her old and she sent and she summoned Jacob son her young and she said to him here! Esau brother your [is] comforting himself to you by killing you.
A capa kacoeh Esau ih lok to amno Rebekah mah thaih; to pongah capa kanawk Jakob to kami kawksak moe, anih khaeah, Khenah, nam ya Esau palungphuihaih dip thai hanah, na hum tih boeh.
43 And therefore O son my listen to voice my and arise flee for yourself to Laban brother my Haran towards.
To pongah ka capa, vaihi kang thuih ih lok hae tahngai ah; vaihi Haran ah kaom ka thangqoi Laban khaeah cawn ah.
44 And you will remain with him days one until that it will turn back [the] anger of brother your.
Nam ya palungphuihaih dip ai karoek to anih khaeah om ah.
45 Until turns back [the] anger of brother your from you and he will forget [that] which you did to him and I will send and I will fetch you from there why? will I be bereaved also both of you a day one.
Nam ya palungphuihaih to dip moe, a nuiah na sak ih hmuen to pahnet pacoengah, nang zoh let hanah lok kang pat moe, nang to kang kawksak han hmang; kawbang maw nito thungah ka capa hnik hanah palung ka sae thuih hmaek thai tih? tiah a thuih.
46 And she said Rebekah to Isaac I loathe life my because of [the] daughters of Heth if [is] taking Jacob a wife from [the] daughters of Heth like these from [the] daughters of the land why? [belongs] to me life.
Rebekah mah Issak khaeah, Heth ih canunawk pongah poek kang pho boeh; Jakob mah hae prae kami canunawk baktih, Heth ih canunawk hoiah imthong krah nahaeloe, kai han hinghaih atho timaw om tih? tiah a naa.
