Genesis 26
1 And it was a famine in the land besides the famine former which it was in [the] days of Abraham and he went Isaac to Abimelech [the] king of [the] Philistines Gerar towards.
Potem był głód na ziemi, po onym głodzie pierwszym, który był za dni Abrahamowych; I poszedł Izaak do Abimelecha, do króla Filistyńskiego do Gerar.
2 And he appeared to him Yahweh and he said may not you go down Egypt towards dwell in the land which I will say to you.
Bo mu się był ukazał Pan i mówił: Nie zstępuj do Egiptu, ale mieszkaj w ziemi, o której Ja powiem tobie.
3 Sojourn in the land this so I may be with you and I will bless you for to you and to offspring your I will give all the lands these and I will establish the oath which I swore to Abraham father your.
Bądźże gościem w tej ziemi, a Ja będę z tobą, i będęć błogosławił; albowiem tobie i nasieniu twemu dam te wszystkie krainy, i utwierdzę przysięgę, którąm przysiągł Abrahamowi, ojcu twemu.
4 And I will multiply offspring your like [the] stars of the heavens and I will give to offspring your all the lands these and they will bless themselves by offspring your all [the] nations of the earth.
I rozmnożę nasienie twoje jako gwiazdy niebieskie, a dam nasieniu twemu wszystkie te krainy: A będą błogosławione w nasieniu twojem wszystkie narody ziemi.
5 Consequence that he listened Abraham to voice my and he kept duty my commandments my statutes my and laws my.
Przeto, iż Abraham był posłuszny głosowi mojemu, a strzegł postanowienia mego, przykazań moich, ustaw moich i praw moich.
6 And he dwelt Isaac in Gerar.
Tedy Izaak mieszkał w Gerar.
7 And they asked [the] men of the place of wife his and he said [is] sister my she for he was afraid to say wife my lest they should kill me [the] men of the place on Rebekah for [was] good of appearance she.
I pytali się mężowie onego miejsca o żonie jego; a on powiedział: Siostra to moja; bo się bał mówić: Żona to moja; by go snać nie zabili mężowie miejsca tego dla Rebeki, iż była piękna na wejrzeniu.
8 And it was that they had become long to him there the days and he looked down Abimelech [the] king of [the] Philistines through the window and he saw and there! Isaac [was] playing with Rebekah wife his.
I stało się, gdy tam mieszkał przez nie mało dni, że wyglądał Abimelech, król Filistyński, oknem, i ujrzał, że Izaak żartował z Rebeką, żoną swą.
9 And he summoned Abimelech Isaac and he said surely here! [is] wife your she and how? did you say [is] sister my she and he said to him Isaac for I thought lest I should die on her.
Tedy przyzwał Abimelech do siebie Izaaka, i rzekł: Prawdziwieć to żona twoja; czemużeś powiadał, siostra to moja? I odpowiedział mu Izaak: Iżem u siebie mówił: Bym snać nie umarł dla niej.
10 And he said Abimelech what? this have you done to us like a little he lay with one of the people wife your and you will bring on us guilt.
I rzekł Abimelech: Cóżeś nam to uczynił? bez mała ktokolwiek z ludu nie spał z żoną twoją: i przywiódłbyś był na nas grzech.
11 And he commanded Abimelech all the people saying who [-ever] touches the man this and wife his certainly he will be put to death.
Rozkazał tedy Abimelech wszystkiemu ludowi mówiąc: Kto by się dotknął męża tego, albo żony jego, śmiercią umrze.
12 And he sowed Isaac in the land that and he found in the year that one hundred measures and he blessed him Yahweh.
Tedy siał Izaak w onej ziemi, i zebrał roku onego sto korcy, albowiem błogosławił mu Pan.
13 And he became great the man and he went continuously and becoming great until for he became great exceedingly.
I zbogacił się on mąż, a im dalej, tem więcej wzmagał się, aż urósł wielce.
14 And it be[longed] to him livestock of flock and livestock of herd and service much and they envied him [the] Philistines.
I miał stada owiec, i stada wołów, i czeladzi dosyć; przetoż mu zajrzeli Filistyńczycy.
15 And all the wells which they had dug [the] servants of father his in [the] days of Abraham father his they stopped up them [the] Philistines and they filled them earth.
I wszystkie studnie, które byli wykopali słudzy ojca jego, za dni Abrahama, ojca jego, zasypali Filistyńczycy, i napełnili je ziemią.
16 And he said Abimelech to Isaac go from with us for you have become [too] powerful for us much.
I rzekł Abimelech do Izaaka: Odejdź od nas, albowiemeś daleko możniejszy niż my.
17 And he went from there Isaac and he encamped in [the] wadi of Gerar and he dwelt there.
I odszedł stamtąd Izaak, i rozbił namioty w dolinie Gerar, i mieszkał tam.
18 And he returned Isaac and he dug - [the] wells of water which people had dug in [the] days of Abraham father his and they had stopped up them [the] Philistines after [the] death of Abraham and he called them names like the names which he had called them father his.
I kopał zasię Izaak studnie wód, które byli wykopali za dni Abrahama, ojca jego, co je byli zasypali Filistyni po śmierci Abrahamowej, i zwał je temiż imiony, któremi je był nazwał ojciec jego.
19 And they dug [the] servants of Isaac in the wadi and they found there a well of water living.
Tedy kopali słudzy Izaakowi w onej dolinie, i znaleźli tam studnią wód żywych.
20 And they disputed [the] herdsmen of Gerar with [the] herdsmen of Isaac saying [belongs] to us the water and he called [the] name of the well Esek for they quarreled with him.
Lecz poswarzyli się pasterze Gerarscy z pasterzami Izaakowymi, mówiąc: Nasza to woda; przeto nazwał imię studni onej, Hesek, iż się swarzyli z nim o nię.
21 And they dug a well another and they disputed also on it and he called name its Sitnah.
Potem wykopali drugą studnią, i swarzyli się też o nię; dla tegoż nazwał imię jej Sydna.
22 And he moved on from there and he dug a well another and not they disputed on it and he called name its Rehoboth and he said that now he has made space Yahweh for us and we will be fruitful in the land.
Zatem przeniósł się stamtąd, i wykopał drugą studnią o którą żadnego sporu nie było; i nazwał imię jej Rechobot, i mówił: Oto, teraz rozszerzył nas Pan, i urośliśmy na ziemi.
23 And he went up from there Beer Sheba.
I wstąpił stamtąd do Beerseby.
24 And he appeared to him Yahweh in the night that and he said I [am] [the] God of Abraham father your may not you be afraid for [am] with you I and I will bless you and I will multiply offspring your for sake of Abraham servant my.
I ukazał mu się Pan onejże nocy, mówiąc: Jam jest Bóg Abrahama, ojca twego, nie bój się, bom Ja jest z tobą; i będęć błogosławił, i rozmnożę nasienie twoje, dla Abrahama, sługi mego.
25 And he built there an altar and he called on [the] name of Yahweh and he pitched there tent his and they dug there [the] servants of Isaac a well.
Tedy tam zbudował ołtarz, i wzywał imienia Pańskiego, i rozbił tam namiot swój, tamże też wykopali słudzy Izaakowi studnię.
26 And Abimelech he came to him from Gerar and Ahuzzah close friend his and Phicol [the] commander of army his.
Abimelech potem przyjechał do niego z Gerar, i Achuzat przyjaciel jego, i Fikol, hetman wojska jego.
27 And he said to them Isaac why? have you come to me and you you hate me and you sent away me from with you.
Do których rzekł Izaak: Przeczżeście przyjechali do mnie, gdyż wy mnie macie w nienawiści, i wypędziliście mię od siebie?
28 And they said certainly we have seen that he has been Yahweh - with you and we said let it be please an oath between us between us and between you and let us make a covenant with you.
A oni odpowiedzieli: Obaczyliśmy to dobrze, że Pan jest z tobą, i rzekliśmy: Uczyńmy teraz przysięgę między sobą, między nami i między tobą, i postanowimy przymierze z tobą;
29 If you will do with us harm just as not we have touched you and just as we have done with you only good and we sent away you in peace you now [are] blessed of Yahweh.
Abyś nam nic złego nie czynił, jakośmy się też ciebie nie tykali; i jakośmyć tylko dobrze czynili, a puściliśmy cię w pokoju; a tyś teraz błogosławiony od Pana.
30 And he prepared for them a feast and they ate and they drank.
Tedy im sprawił ucztę, a jedli i pili.
31 And they rose early in the morning and they swore an oath each to brother his and he sent off them Isaac and they went from with him in peace.
Potem wstawszy bardzo rano przysięgli jeden drugiemu; i wyprowadził je Izaak, i odeszli od niego w pokoju.
32 And it was - on the day that and they came [the] servants of Isaac and they told to him on [the] causes of the well which they had dug and they said to him we have found water.
I stało się onegoż dnia, przyszli słudzy Izaakowi, i powiedzieli mu o studni, którą wykopali, mówiąc mu: Znaleźliśmy wodę.
33 And he called it Shibah there-fore [the] name of the city [is] Beer Sheba until the day this.
I nazwał ją Syba; dlategoż imię miasta onego jest nazwane Beerseba aż do dnia dzisiejszego.
34 And he was Esau a son of forty year[s] and he took a wife Judith [the] daughter of Beeri the Hittite and Basemath [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite.
Potem Ezaw mając czterdzieści lat, pojął sobie za żonę Judytę, córkę Beery Hetejczyka, i Basemat, córkę Elona, Hetejczyka.
35 And they were bitterness of spirit to Isaac and to Rebekah.
Które się bardzo naprzykrzały Izaakowi i Rebece.
