Genesis 26
1 And it was a famine in the land besides the famine former which it was in [the] days of Abraham and he went Isaac to Abimelech [the] king of [the] Philistines Gerar towards.
Estis malsato en la lando, krom la antaŭa malsato, kiu estis en la tempo de Abraham. Kaj Isaak iris al Abimeleĥ, la reĝo de la Filiŝtoj, en Gerar.
2 And he appeared to him Yahweh and he said may not you go down Egypt towards dwell in the land which I will say to you.
Kaj la Eternulo aperis al li, kaj diris: Ne iru Egiptujon, loĝu en la lando, pri kiu Mi diros al vi.
3 Sojourn in the land this so I may be with you and I will bless you for to you and to offspring your I will give all the lands these and I will establish the oath which I swore to Abraham father your.
Vivu kiel fremdulo en ĉi tiu lando, kaj Mi estos kun vi, kaj Mi benos vin; ĉar al vi kaj al via idaro Mi donos ĉiujn ĉi tiujn landojn, kaj Mi plenumos la ĵuron, kiun Mi ĵuris al via patro Abraham.
4 And I will multiply offspring your like [the] stars of the heavens and I will give to offspring your all the lands these and they will bless themselves by offspring your all [the] nations of the earth.
Kaj Mi multigos vian idaron simile al la steloj de la ĉielo, kaj Mi donos al via idaro ĉiujn ĉi tiujn landojn, kaj beniĝos per via idaro ĉiuj popoloj de la tero;
5 Consequence that he listened Abraham to voice my and he kept duty my commandments my statutes my and laws my.
pro tio, ke Abraham obeis Mian voĉon, kaj plenumadis Miajn aranĝojn, Miajn leĝojn, kaj Miajn instruojn.
6 And he dwelt Isaac in Gerar.
Kaj Isaak ekloĝis en Gerar.
7 And they asked [the] men of the place of wife his and he said [is] sister my she for he was afraid to say wife my lest they should kill me [the] men of the place on Rebekah for [was] good of appearance she.
Kaj kiam la homoj de tiu loko demandis pri lia edzino, li diris: Ŝi estas mia fratino; ĉar li timis diri: Mia edzino; por ke la homoj de la loko ne mortigu lin pro Rebeka, ĉar ŝi estis belaspekta.
8 And it was that they had become long to him there the days and he looked down Abimelech [the] king of [the] Philistines through the window and he saw and there! Isaac [was] playing with Rebekah wife his.
Unu fojon, kiam li estis tie jam de longa tempo, Abimeleĥ, la reĝo de la Filiŝtoj, rigardis tra la fenestro, kaj vidis, ke Isaak amuziĝas kun sia edzino Rebeka.
9 And he summoned Abimelech Isaac and he said surely here! [is] wife your she and how? did you say [is] sister my she and he said to him Isaac for I thought lest I should die on her.
Tiam Abimeleĥ vokis Isaakon, kaj diris: Jen, ŝi estas ja via edzino; kial do vi diris: Ŝi estas mia fratino? Kaj Isaak diris al li: Ĉar mi pensis, ke eble mi mortos pro ŝi.
10 And he said Abimelech what? this have you done to us like a little he lay with one of the people wife your and you will bring on us guilt.
Kaj Abimeleĥ diris: Kion do vi faris al ni! preskaŭ jam kuŝiĝis unu el la popolo kun via edzino, kaj vi venigus sur nin krimon.
11 And he commanded Abimelech all the people saying who [-ever] touches the man this and wife his certainly he will be put to death.

12 And he sowed Isaac in the land that and he found in the year that one hundred measures and he blessed him Yahweh.

13 And he became great the man and he went continuously and becoming great until for he became great exceedingly.

14 And it be[longed] to him livestock of flock and livestock of herd and service much and they envied him [the] Philistines.
Kaj li havis tre multe da brutoj malgrandaj kaj brutoj grandaj kaj grandan servistaron; kaj la Filiŝtoj enviis lin.
15 And all the wells which they had dug [the] servants of father his in [the] days of Abraham father his they stopped up them [the] Philistines and they filled them earth.

16 And he said Abimelech to Isaac go from with us for you have become [too] powerful for us much.

17 And he went from there Isaac and he encamped in [the] wadi of Gerar and he dwelt there.
Kaj Isaak foriris de tie kaj aranĝis siajn tendojn en la valo de Gerar, kaj tie li ekloĝis.
18 And he returned Isaac and he dug - [the] wells of water which people had dug in [the] days of Abraham father his and they had stopped up them [the] Philistines after [the] death of Abraham and he called them names like the names which he had called them father his.

19 And they dug [the] servants of Isaac in the wadi and they found there a well of water living.

20 And they disputed [the] herdsmen of Gerar with [the] herdsmen of Isaac saying [belongs] to us the water and he called [the] name of the well Esek for they quarreled with him.
Kaj disputis la paŝtistoj de Gerar kun la paŝtistoj de Isaak, dirante: Al ni apartenas la akvo. Kaj oni donis al la puto la nomon Esek, ĉar oni disputis pri ĝi.
21 And they dug a well another and they disputed also on it and he called name its Sitnah.
Kaj ili elfosis alian puton, kaj ankaŭ pri ĝi ili disputis; kaj oni donis al ĝi la nomon Sitna.
22 And he moved on from there and he dug a well another and not they disputed on it and he called name its Rehoboth and he said that now he has made space Yahweh for us and we will be fruitful in the land.
Kaj ili foriĝis de tie kaj elfosis alian puton, kaj pri ĝi oni ne disputis. Kaj li donis al ĝi la nomon Reĥobot, dirante: Nun la Eternulo donis al ni vastan lokon, kaj ni multiĝos sur la tero.
23 And he went up from there Beer Sheba.
Kaj de tie li formigris al Beer-Ŝeba.
24 And he appeared to him Yahweh in the night that and he said I [am] [the] God of Abraham father your may not you be afraid for [am] with you I and I will bless you and I will multiply offspring your for sake of Abraham servant my.
Kaj aperis al li la Eternulo en tiu nokto, kaj diris: Mi estas la Dio de via patro Abraham; ne timu, ĉar Mi estas kun vi, kaj Mi benos vin kaj Mi multigos vian idaron pro Abraham, Mia servanto.
25 And he built there an altar and he called on [the] name of Yahweh and he pitched there tent his and they dug there [the] servants of Isaac a well.
Kaj li konstruis tie altaron kaj preĝis al la Eternulo. Kaj li aranĝis tie sian tendon, kaj la sklavoj de Isaak elfosis tie puton.
26 And Abimelech he came to him from Gerar and Ahuzzah close friend his and Phicol [the] commander of army his.
Kaj Abimeleĥ iris al li el Gerar, kaj ankaŭ lia amiko Aĥuzat kaj lia militestro Piĥol.
27 And he said to them Isaac why? have you come to me and you you hate me and you sent away me from with you.
Kaj Isaak diris al ili: Por kio vi venis al mi? vi min ja malamas kaj forpelis min de vi.
28 And they said certainly we have seen that he has been Yahweh - with you and we said let it be please an oath between us between us and between you and let us make a covenant with you.
Kaj ili diris: Ni vidis, ke la Eternulo estas kun vi; tial ni diris: Estu ĵuro inter ni, inter ni kaj vi, kaj ni faru interligon kun vi,
29 If you will do with us harm just as not we have touched you and just as we have done with you only good and we sent away you in peace you now [are] blessed of Yahweh.
ke vi ne faru al ni malbonon, kiel ni vin ne tuŝis kaj kiel ni faris al vi nur bonon kaj lasis vin foriri en paco; vi estas nun benito de la Eternulo.
30 And he prepared for them a feast and they ate and they drank.
Kaj li faris por ili festenon, kaj ili manĝis kaj trinkis.
31 And they rose early in the morning and they swore an oath each to brother his and he sent off them Isaac and they went from with him in peace.
Kaj ili leviĝis frue matene kaj ĵuris al si reciproke. Kaj Isaak lasis ilin foriri, kaj ili foriris de li en paco.
32 And it was - on the day that and they came [the] servants of Isaac and they told to him on [the] causes of the well which they had dug and they said to him we have found water.
Kaj en tiu tago venis la sklavoj de Isaak, kaj raportis al li pri la puto, kiun ili elfosis, kaj diris al li: Ni trovis akvon.
33 And he called it Shibah there-fore [the] name of the city [is] Beer Sheba until the day this.
Kaj li donis al ĝi la nomon Ŝiba; pro tio la nomo de la urbo estas Beer-Ŝeba ĝis hodiaŭ.
34 And he was Esau a son of forty year[s] and he took a wife Judith [the] daughter of Beeri the Hittite and Basemath [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite.
Kiam Esav havis la aĝon de kvardek jaroj, li prenis kiel edzinojn Jehuditon, filinon de Beeri la Ĥetido, kaj Basmaton, filinon de Elon la Ĥetido.
35 And they were bitterness of spirit to Isaac and to Rebekah.
Kaj ili multe ĉagrenis Isaakon kaj Rebekan.
