< Genesis 2 >
1 And they were completed the heavens and the earth and all host their.

2 And he completed God on the day seventh work his which he had done and he rested on the day seventh from all work his which he had done.
Ɛduruu ɛda a ɛtɔ so nson no, na Onyankopɔn awie nnwuma a ɔhyɛɛ aseɛ yɛeɛ no nyinaa. Enti, ɛda a ɛtɔ so nson no, ɔgyee nʼahome.
3 And he blessed God [the] day seventh and he set apart as holy it for on it he rested from all work his which he had created God to make.
Onyankopɔn hyiraa ɛda a ɛtɔ so nson no, na ɔtee ho. Ɛfiri sɛ, saa ɛda no na Onyankopɔn gyee nʼahome firii adebɔ nnwuma no nyinaa ho.
4 These [are] [the] accounts of the heavens and the earth when were created they on [the] day made Yahweh God earth and heaven.
Yei ne ɔsoro ne asase bɔ ho asɛm. Ɛberɛ a Awurade Onyankopɔn bɔɔ ɔsoro ne asase no.
5 And any - shrub of the field not yet was on the earth and any vegetation of the field not yet was sprouting for not he had caused rain Yahweh God on the earth and [was] a human there not to till the ground.
Na afifideɛ biara nni asase so, na wiram nnua biara nso nni hɔ. Ɛfiri sɛ, na Awurade Onyankopɔn mmaa nsuo ntɔɔ wɔ asase so, na onipa nso nni asase so a ɔbɛyɛ so adwuma.
6 And water came up from the earth and it watered all [the] surface of the ground.
Nanso, nsutire puepue fifirii asase mu bɛpetee asase ani nyinaa.
7 And he formed Yahweh God the man dust from the ground and he blew in nostrils his [the] breath of life and he became the man a creature living.
Awurade Onyankopɔn de asase no so dɔteɛ nwonoo onipa, na ɔhomee nkwa home guu ne hwene mu, maa onipa no bɛyɛɛ ɔteasefoɔ.
8 And he planted Yahweh God a garden (in Eden *L(abh)*) from [the] east and he put there the man whom he had formed.
Afei, Awurade Onyankopɔn yɛɛ turo wɔ Eden apueeɛ fam, na ɛhɔ na ɔde onipa a ɔnwonoo no no tenaeɛ.
9 And he made sprout Yahweh God from the ground every tree desirable to appearance and good for food and [the] tree of life [was] in [the] middle of the garden and [the] tree of the knowledge good and evil.
Awurade Onyankopɔn maa nnua ahodoɔ nyinaa fifirii asase no so; nnua a ɛyɛ fɛ na wɔdie. Turo no mfimfini no na nkwa dua, ɛnna papa ne bɔnehunu dua sisie.
10 And a river [was] going out from Eden to water the garden and from there divided and it became four heads.
Na nsuo tene firi Eden bɛgugu turo no mu afifideɛ no so; ɛfiri hɔ a, na saa nsuo no mu apaapae ayɛ nsubɔntene ɛnan.
11 [the] name of The one [is] Pishon it [is] the [one which] goes around all [the] land of Havilah where [is] there gold.

12 And [the] gold of the land that [is] good [are] there bdellium and [the] stone of onyx.

13 And [the] name of the river second [is] Gihon it [is] the [one which] goes around all [the] land of Cush.
Asubɔnten a ɛtɔ so mmienu no din de Gihon. Na ɛno ara na abobare afa Kus asase ho nyinaa.
14 And [the] name of the river third [is] Tigris it [is] the [one which] goes [the] east of Assyria and the river fourth it [is the] Euphrates.
Asuo a ɛtɔ so mmiɛnsa no, na wɔfrɛ no Tigris a ɛtene kɔ asase kɛseɛ Asiria apueeɛ fam. Asuo a ɛtɔ so ɛnan no nso, na wɔfrɛ no Eufrate.
15 And he took Yahweh God the man and he put him in [the] garden of Eden to till it and to keep it.
Awurade Onyankopɔn faa onipa no de no kɔtenaa Eden turo mu hɔ sɛ ɔnyɛ mu adwuma, na ɔnhwɛ so.
16 And he commanded Yahweh God to the man saying from any tree of the garden certainly you will eat.
Na Awurade Onyankopɔn bɔɔ onipa no kɔkɔ sɛ, “Wowɔ ho ɛkwan sɛ, wodi dua biara so aba wɔ turo yi mu ha;
17 And from [the] tree of the knowledge good and evil not you must eat from it for on [the] day eating you from it certainly you will die.
nanso wonni ho ɛkwan sɛ wodi papa ne bɔnehunu dua no so aba. Ɛda a wobɛdie no, deɛ ɛbɛyɛ biara, wobɛwu.”
18 And he said Yahweh God not [is] good to be the man to only him I will make for him a helper like before him.
Afei, Awurade Onyankopɔn kaa sɛ, “Ɛnyɛ sɛ onipa nko ara tena; mɛbɔ ɔboafoɔ a ɔfata no ama no.”
19 And he formed Yahweh God from the ground every animal of the field and every bird of the heavens and he brought [them] to the man to see what? will he call to it and all that he called to it the man a creature living it [was] name its.
Saa ɛberɛ no na, Awurade Onyankopɔn de mfuturo abɔ wiram mmoa ne ewiem nnomaa nyinaa. Enti, ɔde wɔn brɛɛ onipa sɛ ɔnhwehwɛ edin ko a ɔde bɛtoto wɔn. Edin a onipa de too abɔdeɛ a nkwa wɔ mu biara no, ɛno ara na ɛyɛɛ edin a wɔde frɛɛ no.
20 And he called the man names to all the livestock and to [the] bird[s] of the heavens and to every animal of the field and for Adam not he found a helper like before him.
Enti, onipa totoo nyɛmmoa, ewiem nnomaa ne wiram mmoa no nyinaa edin. Nanso, onipa deɛ, wannya ɔboafoɔ a ɔfata no.
21 And he made fall Yahweh God - a deep sleep on the man and he fell asleep and he took one of ribs his and he closed up flesh in place of it.
Enti, Awurade Onyankopɔn maa onipa daa nnahɔɔ. Ɛberɛ a onipa daa saa no, ɔyii ne mfe mu mpadeɛ baako, na ɔde honam taree deɛ ɔyii mpadeɛ hɔ no.
22 And he built Yahweh God - the rib which he had taken from the man into a woman and he brought her to the man.
Afei, Awurade Onyankopɔn de mfe mu mpadeɛ baako a ɔyi firii onipa mu no bɔɔ ɔbaa, de no maa onipa no.
23 And he said the man this [one] this time [is] bone from bones my and flesh from flesh my to this [one] will be called woman for from a man she was taken this [one].
Na Adam kaa sɛ, “Mʼankasa me dompe ne me honam bi nie. Wɔbɛfrɛ yei ɔbaa ɛfiri sɛ, ɔbarima mu na wɔyii no firiiɛ.”
24 There-fore he leaves a man father his and mother his and he cleaves to wife his and they become flesh one.
Yei enti na ɔbarima gya nʼagya ne ne na de ne ho kɔbata ne yere ho sɛdeɛ wɔn baanu bɛyɛ nnipa korɔ.
25 And they were both of them naked the man and wife his and not they were ashamed.
Saa ɛberɛ no, na ɔbarima ne ne yere nyinaa ho da hɔ, nanso na wɔmfɛre.
