Genesis 19
1 And they came [the] two the angels Sodom towards in the evening and Lot [was] sitting in [the] gate of Sodom and he saw [them] Lot and he arose to meet them and he bowed down face [the] ground towards.
Lối chiều, hai thiên sứ đến Sô-đôm; lúc đó, Lót đang ngồi tại cửa thành. Khi Lót thấy hai thiên sứ đến, đứng dậy mà đón rước và sấp mình xuống đất.
2 And he said here! please O lords my turn aside please to [the] house of servant your and stay [the] night and wash feet your and you will rise early (and you will go *LAH(b)*) to way your and they said In-deed in the open place we will stay [the] night.
Người thưa rằng: Nầy, lạy hai chúa, xin hãy đến ở nhà của kẻ tôi tớ, và hãy nghỉ đêm tại đó. Hai chúa hãy rửa chân, rồi sáng mai thức dậy lên đường. Hai thiên sứ phán rằng: Không, đêm nầy ta sẽ ở ngoài đường.
3 And he urged them exceedingly and they turned aside to him and they went into house his and he prepared for them a feast and unleavened bread he baked and they ate.
Nhưng Lót cố mời cho đến đỗi hai thiên sứ phải đi lại vào nhà mình. Người dâng một bữa tiệc, làm bánh không men, và hai thiên sứ bèn dùng tiệc.
4 Before they lay down and [the] men of the city [the] men of Sodom they surrounded the house from young man and unto old [man] all the people from [the] end.
Hai thiên sứ chưa đi nằm, mà các người nam ở Sô-đôm, từ trẻ đến già, tức cả dân, đều chạy đến bao chung quanh nhà.
5 And they called to Lot and they said to him where? [are] the men who they came to you this night bring them to us so let us know them.
Bọn đó gọi Lót mà hỏi rằng: Những khách đã vào nhà ngươi buổi chiều tối nay ở đâu? Hãy dẫn họ ra đây, hầu cho chúng ta được biết.
6 And he went out to them Lot the entrance towards and the door he closed behind him.
Lót bèn ra đến cùng dân chúng ở ngoài cửa, rồi đóng cửa lại,
7 And he said may not please O brothers my you do evil.
và nói cùng họ rằng: Nầy, tôi xin anh em đừng làm điều ác đó!
8 Here! please [belong] to me two daughters who not they have known a man let me bring out please them to you and do to them according to the good in view your only to the men these may not you do anything for since they have come in [the] shadow of roof my.
Đây, tôi sẵn có hai con gái chưa chồng, tôi sẽ đưa chúng nó cho anh em, rồi mặc tình anh em tính làm sao tùy ý; miễn đừng làm chi hại cho hai người kia; vì cớ đó, nên họ đến núp bóng mái nhà tôi.
9 And they said - approach beyond and they said the one he came to sojourn and he has judged continuously now we will do harm to you more than them and they urged the man Lot exceedingly and they approached to break down the door.
Bọn dân chúng nói rằng: Ngươi hãy tránh chỗ khác! Lại tiếp rằng: Người nầy đến đây như kẻ kiều ngụ, lại muốn đoán xét nữa sao! Vậy, thôi! chúng ta sẽ đãi ngươi bạc-tệ hơn hai khách kia. Đoạn, họ lấn ép Lót mạnh quá, và tràn đến đặng phá cửa.
10 And they stretched out the men hand their and they brought Lot to them the house towards and the door they closed.
Nhưng hai thiên sứ giơ tay ra, đem Lót vào nhà, và đóng cửa lại,
11 And the men who [were] [the] entrance of the house they struck with sudden blindness from small and unto great and they became weary to find the entrance.
đoạn, hành phạt bọn dân chúng ở ngoài cửa, từ trẻ đến già, đều quáng lòa mắt, cho đến đỗi tìm cửa mệt mà không được.
12 And they said the men to Lot yet who? [belongs] to you here a son-in-law and sons your and daughters your and all who [belong] to you in the city bring out from the place.
Hai thiên sứ bèn hỏi Lót rằng: Ngươi còn có ai tại đây nữa chăng? Rể, con trai, con gái và ai trong thành thuộc về ngươi, hãy đem ra khỏi hết đi!
13 For [are] about to destroy we the place this for it is great outcry their with [the] face of Yahweh and he has sent us Yahweh to destroy it.
Chúng ta sẽ hủy diệt chỗ nầy, vì tiếng kêu oan về dân thành nầy đã thấu lên đến Đức Giê-hô-va, nên Ngài sai chúng ta xuống mà hủy diệt.
14 And he went out Lot and he spoke - to sons-in-law his - [who were] about to take daughters his and he said arise go out from the place this for [is] about to destroy Yahweh the city and he was like [one who] jests in [the] eyes of sons-in-law his.
Lót bèn đi ra và nói cùng rể đã cưới con gái mình rằng: Hãy chổi dậy, đi ra khỏi chốn nầy, vì Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ hủy diệt thành. Nhưng các chàng rể tưởng người nói chơi.
15 And when the dawn it came up and they urged the angels Lot saying arise take wife your and [the] two daughters your who are found lest you should be swept away in [the] punishment of the city.
Đến sáng, hai thiên sứ hối Lót và phán rằng: Hãy thức dậy, dẫn vợ và hai con gái ngươi đang ở đây ra, e khi ngươi cũng chết lây về việc hình phạt của thành nữa chăng.
16 And he delayed - and they took hold the men on hand his and on [the] hand of wife his and on [the] hand of [the] two daughters his in [the] mercy of Yahweh towards him and they brought out him and they placed him from [the] outside of the city.
Nhưng Lót lần lữa; vì cớ Đức Giê-hô-va thương xót Lót, nên hai thiên sứ nắm lấy tai kéo người, vợ cùng hai con gái người, và dẫn ra khỏi thành.
17 And it was when brought out they them the outside towards and he said escape on life your may not you look behind you and may not you stop in all the valley the hill country towards escape lest you should be swept away.
Vả, khi hai thiên sứ dẫn họ ra khỏi rồi, một trong hai vì nói rằng: Hãy chạy trốn cứu lấy mạng, đừng ngó lại sau và cũng đừng dừng bước lại nơi nào ngoài đồng bằng; hãy chạy trốn lên núi, kẻo phải bỏ mình chăng.
18 And he said Lot to them may not [it be] please O Lord.
Lót đáp lại rằng: Lạy Chúa, không được!
19 Here! please he has found servant your favor in view your and you have made great loyalty your which you have done with me by preserving alive life my and I not I am able to escape the hill country towards lest it should cling to me the calamity and I will die.
Nầy, tôi tớ đã được ơn trước mặt Chúa; Chúa đã tỏ lòng nhân từ rất lớn cùng tôi mà cứu tròn sự sống tôi. Nhưng tôi chạy trốn lên núi không kịp trước khi tai nạn đến, thì tôi phải chết.
20 Here! please the city this [is] near to flee there towards and it [is] a small place let me escape please there towards ¿ not a small place [is] it so it may live life my.
Kìa, thành kia đã nhỏ, lại cũng gần đặng tôi có thế ẩn mình. Oâi! chớ chi Chúa cho tôi ẩn đó đặng cứu tròn sự sống tôi. Thành nầy há chẳng phải nhỏ sao?
21 And he said to him here! I lift up face your also to the matter this to not to overthrow I the city which you have spoken.
Thiên sứ phán rằng: Đây, ta ban ơn nầy cho ngươi nữa, sẽ không hủy diệt thành của ngươi đã nói đó đâu.
22 Hurry escape there towards for not I will be able to do anything until going you there towards there-fore someone called [the] name of the city Zoar.
Mau mau hãy lại ẩn đó, vì ta không làm chi được khi ngươi chưa vào đến nơi. Bởi cớ ấy, nên người ta gọi tên thành nầy là Xoa.
23 The sun it came out over the earth and Lot he went Zoar towards.
Khi mặt trời mọc lên khỏi đất, thì Lót vào đến thành Xoa.
24 And Yahweh he caused to rain on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulfur and fire from with Yahweh from the heavens.
Đoạn, Đức Giê-hô-va giáng mưa diêm sanh và lửa từ nơi Ngài trên trời sa xuống Sô-đôm và Gô-mô-rơ,
25 And he overthrew the cities these and all the valley and all [the] inhabitants of the cities and [the] growth of the ground.
hủy diệt hai thành nầy, cả đồng bằng, hết thảy dân sự cùng các cây cỏ ở nơi đất đó.
26 And she looked wife his from behind him and she was a pillar of salt.
Nhưng vợ của Lót quay ngó lại đặng sau mình, nên hóa ra một tượng muối.
27 And he rose early Abraham in the morning to the place where he had stood there with [the] face of Yahweh.
Aùp-ra-ham dậy sớm, đi đến nơi mà người đã đứng chầu Đức Giê-hô-va,
28 And he looked down on [the] face of Sodom and Gomorrah and on all [the] face of [the] land of the valley and he saw and there! it went up [the] smoke of the land like [the] smoke of furnace.
ngó về hướng Sô-đôm và Gô-mô-rơ, cùng khắp xứ ở đồng bằng, thì thấy từ dưới đất bay lên một luồng khói, như khói của một lò lửa lớn.
29 And it was when destroyed God [the] cities of the valley and he remembered God Abraham and he sent out Lot from [the] middle of the overthrow when overthrew the cities which he had dwelt in them Lot.
Vả, khi Đức Chúa Trời hủy diệt các thành nơi đồng bằng, tức là thành Lót ở, thì nhớ đến Aùp-ra-ham, cứu Lót ra khỏi chốn phá tan đó.
30 And he went up Lot from Zoar and he dwelt in the hill country and [the] two daughters his [were] with him for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar and he dwelt in the cave he and [the] two daughters his.
Lót ở Xoa thì sợ hãi, nên cùng hai con gái mình bỏ đó mà lên núi, ở trong một hang đá kia.
31 And said the firstborn to the young father our he is old and [is] a man there not in the land to go on us according to [the] way of all the earth.
Cô lớn nói cùng em mình rằng: Cha ta đã già, mà không còn ai trên mặt đất đến sánh duyên cùng ta theo như thế thường thiên hạ.
32 Come! let us make drink father our wine and let us lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
Hè! chúng ta hãy phục rượu cho cha, và lại nằm cùng người, để lưu truyền dòng giống cha lại.
33 And they made drink father their wine in the night that and she came the firstborn and she lay with father her and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
Đêm đó, hai nàng phục rượu cho cha mình; nàng lớn đến nằm cùng cha; nhưng người chẳng hay lúc nào nàng nằm, lúc nào nàng dậy hết.
34 And it was from [the] next day and she said the firstborn to the young here! I lay with last night father my let us make drink him wine also this night and go lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
Qua ngày mai, chị nói cùng em rằng: Nầy, đêm hôm qua ta đã nằm cùng cha rồi; hôm nay chúng ta hãy phục rượu cho cha nữa, rồi em hãy lại nằm cùng người, để lưu truyền dòng giống cha lại.
35 And they made drink also in the night that father their wine and she arose the young [one] and she lay with him and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
Đêm đó, hai nàng lại phục rượu cho cha mình nữa, rồi nàng nhỏ thức dậy lại nằm cùng cha; nhưng người chẳng hay lúc nào nàng nằm, lúc nào nàng dậy hết.
36 And they conceived [the] two [the] daughters of Lot from father their.
Vậy, hai con gái của Lót do nơi cha mình mà thọ thai.
37 And she bore the firstborn a son and she called name his Moab he [is] [the] ancestor of Moab until this day.
Nàng lớn sanh được một con trai, đặt tên là Mô-áp; ấy là tổ phụ của dân Mô-áp đến bây giờ.
38 And the young also she she bore a son and she called name his Ben-Ammi he [is] [the] ancestor of [the] people of Ammon until this day.
Người em cũng sanh đặng một con trai, đặt tên là Bên-Am-mi; ấy là tổ phụ của dân Am-môn đến bây giờ.
