Genesis 19
1 And they came [the] two the angels Sodom towards in the evening and Lot [was] sitting in [the] gate of Sodom and he saw [them] Lot and he arose to meet them and he bowed down face [the] ground towards.
Los dos ángeles llegaron a Sodoma al anochecer. Lot estaba sentado en la puerta de Sodoma. Lot los vio y se levantó a recibirlos. Se inclinó con el rostro hacia la tierra,
2 And he said here! please O lords my turn aside please to [the] house of servant your and stay [the] night and wash feet your and you will rise early (and you will go *LAH(b)*) to way your and they said In-deed in the open place we will stay [the] night.
y les dijo: “Vean ahora, señores míos, por favor, entren en la casa de su siervo, quédense toda la noche, lávense los pies, y podrán levantarse temprano y seguir su camino.” Dijeron: “No, pero nos quedaremos en la calle toda la noche”.
3 And he urged them exceedingly and they turned aside to him and they went into house his and he prepared for them a feast and unleavened bread he baked and they ate.
Los exhortó mucho, y entraron con él en su casa. Les hizo un banquete, y horneó panes sin levadura, y comieron.
4 Before they lay down and [the] men of the city [the] men of Sodom they surrounded the house from young man and unto old [man] all the people from [the] end.
Pero antes de que se acostaran, los hombres de la ciudad, los hombres de Sodoma, rodearon la casa, tanto los jóvenes como los ancianos, toda la gente de todas partes.
5 And they called to Lot and they said to him where? [are] the men who they came to you this night bring them to us so let us know them.
Llamaron a Lot y le dijeron: “¿Dónde están los hombres que entraron en tu casa esta noche? Tráenoslos, para que nos acostemos con ellos”.
6 And he went out to them Lot the entrance towards and the door he closed behind him.
Lot salió hacia ellos por la puerta, y cerró la puerta tras de sí.
7 And he said may not please O brothers my you do evil.
Dijo: “Por favor, hermanos míos, no actuéis con tanta maldad.
8 Here! please [belong] to me two daughters who not they have known a man let me bring out please them to you and do to them according to the good in view your only to the men these may not you do anything for since they have come in [the] shadow of roof my.
Mirad, tengo dos hijas vírgenes. Por favor, dejad que os las traiga, y podéis hacer con ellas lo que os parezca bien. Sólo que no les hagáis nada a estos hombres, porque han venido bajo la sombra de mi techo”.
9 And they said - approach beyond and they said the one he came to sojourn and he has judged continuously now we will do harm to you more than them and they urged the man Lot exceedingly and they approached to break down the door.
Dijeron: “¡Atrás!” Entonces dijeron: “Este tipo entró a vivir como extranjero, y se nombra a sí mismo juez. Ahora te trataremos peor que a ellos”. Presionaron con fuerza al hombre Lot, y se acercaron para romper la puerta.
10 And they stretched out the men hand their and they brought Lot to them the house towards and the door they closed.
Pero los hombres extendieron la mano y metieron a Lot en la casa, y cerraron la puerta.
11 And the men who [were] [the] entrance of the house they struck with sudden blindness from small and unto great and they became weary to find the entrance.
A los hombres que estaban a la puerta de la casa los hirieron con ceguera, tanto a los pequeños como a los grandes, de modo que se cansaron de encontrar la puerta.
12 And they said the men to Lot yet who? [belongs] to you here a son-in-law and sons your and daughters your and all who [belong] to you in the city bring out from the place.
Los hombres dijeron a Lot: “¿Tienes a alguien más aquí? Yernos, hijos, hijas y todos los que tengas en la ciudad, sácalos del lugar:
13 For [are] about to destroy we the place this for it is great outcry their with [the] face of Yahweh and he has sent us Yahweh to destroy it.
porque vamos a destruir este lugar, porque el clamor contra ellos ha crecido tanto ante Yahvé que Yahvé nos ha enviado a destruirlo.”
14 And he went out Lot and he spoke - to sons-in-law his - [who were] about to take daughters his and he said arise go out from the place this for [is] about to destroy Yahweh the city and he was like [one who] jests in [the] eyes of sons-in-law his.
Lot salió y habló a sus yernos, que estaban comprometidos a casarse con sus hijas, y les dijo: “¡Levántense! Salid de este lugar, porque Yahvé va a destruir la ciudad”. Pero a sus yernos les pareció que estaba bromeando.
15 And when the dawn it came up and they urged the angels Lot saying arise take wife your and [the] two daughters your who are found lest you should be swept away in [the] punishment of the city.
Cuando llegó la mañana, los ángeles apresuraron a Lot, diciendo: “¡Levántate! Toma a tu mujer y a tus dos hijas que están aquí, para que no te consumas en la iniquidad de la ciudad”.
16 And he delayed - and they took hold the men on hand his and on [the] hand of wife his and on [the] hand of [the] two daughters his in [the] mercy of Yahweh towards him and they brought out him and they placed him from [the] outside of the city.
Pero él se demoró, y los hombres lo tomaron de la mano, de la mano de su esposa y de la mano de sus dos hijas, siendo Yahvé misericordioso con él, y lo sacaron y lo pusieron fuera de la ciudad.
17 And it was when brought out they them the outside towards and he said escape on life your may not you look behind you and may not you stop in all the valley the hill country towards escape lest you should be swept away.
Cuando los sacaron, les dijo: “¡Escapen por su vida! No mires detrás de ti, y no te quedes en ningún lugar de la llanura. Escapad a las montañas, no sea que os consuman”.
18 And he said Lot to them may not [it be] please O Lord.
Lot les dijo: “Oh, no es así, mi señor.
19 Here! please he has found servant your favor in view your and you have made great loyalty your which you have done with me by preserving alive life my and I not I am able to escape the hill country towards lest it should cling to me the calamity and I will die.
Mira ahora, tu siervo ha hallado gracia ante tus ojos, y has engrandecido tu amorosa bondad, que has mostrado conmigo al salvar mi vida. No puedo escapar al monte, no sea que el mal me alcance y muera.
20 Here! please the city this [is] near to flee there towards and it [is] a small place let me escape please there towards ¿ not a small place [is] it so it may live life my.
Mira ahora, esta ciudad está cerca para huir, y es pequeña. Oh, déjame escapar allí (¿no es una pequeña?), y mi alma vivirá”.
21 And he said to him here! I lift up face your also to the matter this to not to overthrow I the city which you have spoken.
Le dijo: “He aquí que he concedido tu petición en cuanto a esto también, que no derribaré la ciudad de la que has hablado.
22 Hurry escape there towards for not I will be able to do anything until going you there towards there-fore someone called [the] name of the city Zoar.
Date prisa, escapa allí, porque no puedo hacer nada hasta que llegues”. Por eso el nombre de la ciudad se llamó Zoar.
23 The sun it came out over the earth and Lot he went Zoar towards.
El sol había salido sobre la tierra cuando Lot llegó a Zoar.
24 And Yahweh he caused to rain on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulfur and fire from with Yahweh from the heavens.
Entonces Yahvé hizo llover sobre Sodoma y sobre Gomorra azufre y fuego de Yahvé desde el cielo.
25 And he overthrew the cities these and all the valley and all [the] inhabitants of the cities and [the] growth of the ground.
Derribó aquellas ciudades, toda la llanura, todos los habitantes de las ciudades y lo que crecía en el suelo.
26 And she looked wife his from behind him and she was a pillar of salt.
Pero la esposa de Lot miró hacia atrás desde su espalda, y se convirtió en una columna de sal.
27 And he rose early Abraham in the morning to the place where he had stood there with [the] face of Yahweh.
Abraham subió de madrugada al lugar donde había estado frente a Yahvé.
28 And he looked down on [the] face of Sodom and Gomorrah and on all [the] face of [the] land of the valley and he saw and there! it went up [the] smoke of the land like [the] smoke of furnace.
Miró hacia Sodoma y Gomorra, y hacia toda la tierra de la llanura, y vio que el humo de la tierra subía como el humo de un horno.
29 And it was when destroyed God [the] cities of the valley and he remembered God Abraham and he sent out Lot from [the] middle of the overthrow when overthrew the cities which he had dwelt in them Lot.
Cuando Dios destruyó las ciudades de la llanura, se acordó de Abraham y envió a Lot en medio de la destrucción, cuando derribó las ciudades en las que vivía Lot.
30 And he went up Lot from Zoar and he dwelt in the hill country and [the] two daughters his [were] with him for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar and he dwelt in the cave he and [the] two daughters his.
Lot subió de Zoar y vivió en el monte, con sus dos hijas, porque tenía miedo de vivir en Zoar. Vivió en una cueva con sus dos hijas.
31 And said the firstborn to the young father our he is old and [is] a man there not in the land to go on us according to [the] way of all the earth.
La primogénita dijo a la menor: “Nuestro padre es viejo, y no hay hombre en la tierra que pueda entrar con nosotras en el camino de toda la tierra.
32 Come! let us make drink father our wine and let us lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
Vengan, hagamos que nuestro padre beba vino y nos acostaremos con él, para conservar el linaje de nuestro padre”.
33 And they made drink father their wine in the night that and she came the firstborn and she lay with father her and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
Hicieron beber vino a su padre aquella noche, y la primogénita entró y se acostó con su padre. Él no supo cuándo se acostó, ni cuándo se levantó.
34 And it was from [the] next day and she said the firstborn to the young here! I lay with last night father my let us make drink him wine also this night and go lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
Al día siguiente, la primogénita dijo a la menor: “Mira, anoche me acosté con mi padre. Hagamos que esta noche vuelva a beber vino. Entra tú y acuéstate con él, para que conservemos el linaje de nuestro padre”.
35 And they made drink also in the night that father their wine and she arose the young [one] and she lay with him and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
También esa noche hicieron beber vino a su padre. La más joven fue y se acostó con él. Él no supo cuándo se acostó, ni cuándo se levantó.
36 And they conceived [the] two [the] daughters of Lot from father their.
Así, las dos hijas de Lot quedaron embarazadas de su padre.
37 And she bore the firstborn a son and she called name his Moab he [is] [the] ancestor of Moab until this day.
La primogénita dio a luz un hijo y lo llamó Moab. Él es el padre de los moabitas hasta el día de hoy.
38 And the young also she she bore a son and she called name his Ben-Ammi he [is] [the] ancestor of [the] people of Ammon until this day.
La menor también dio a luz un hijo y lo llamó Ben Ammi. Él es el padre de los hijos de Amón hasta el día de hoy.
