Genesis 19
1 And they came [the] two the angels Sodom towards in the evening and Lot [was] sitting in [the] gate of Sodom and he saw [them] Lot and he arose to meet them and he bowed down face [the] ground towards.
Kedua malaikat itu tiba di Sodom pada waktu petang. Lot sedang duduk di pintu gerbang Sodom dan ketika melihat mereka, bangunlah ia menyongsong mereka, lalu sujud dengan mukanya sampai ke tanah,
2 And he said here! please O lords my turn aside please to [the] house of servant your and stay [the] night and wash feet your and you will rise early (and you will go *LAH(b)*) to way your and they said In-deed in the open place we will stay [the] night.
serta berkata: "Tuan-tuan, silakanlah singgah ke rumah hambamu ini, bermalamlah di sini dan basuhlah kakimu, maka besok pagi tuan-tuan boleh melanjutkan perjalanannya." Jawab mereka: "Tidak, kami akan bermalam di tanah lapang."
3 And he urged them exceedingly and they turned aside to him and they went into house his and he prepared for them a feast and unleavened bread he baked and they ate.
Tetapi karena ia sangat mendesak mereka, singgahlah mereka dan masuk ke dalam rumahnya, kemudian ia menyediakan hidangan bagi mereka, ia membakar roti yang tidak beragi, lalu mereka makan.
4 Before they lay down and [the] men of the city [the] men of Sodom they surrounded the house from young man and unto old [man] all the people from [the] end.
Tetapi sebelum mereka tidur, orang-orang lelaki dari kota Sodom itu, dari yang muda sampai yang tua, bahkan seluruh kota, tidak ada yang terkecuali, datang mengepung rumah itu.
5 And they called to Lot and they said to him where? [are] the men who they came to you this night bring them to us so let us know them.
Mereka berseru kepada Lot: "Di manakah orang-orang yang datang kepadamu malam ini? Bawalah mereka keluar kepada kami, supaya kami pakai mereka."
6 And he went out to them Lot the entrance towards and the door he closed behind him.
Lalu keluarlah Lot menemui mereka, ke depan pintu, tetapi pintu ditutupnya di belakangnya,
7 And he said may not please O brothers my you do evil.
dan ia berkata: "Saudara-saudaraku, janganlah kiranya berbuat jahat.
8 Here! please [belong] to me two daughters who not they have known a man let me bring out please them to you and do to them according to the good in view your only to the men these may not you do anything for since they have come in [the] shadow of roof my.
Kamu tahu, aku mempunyai dua orang anak perempuan yang belum pernah dijamah laki-laki, baiklah mereka kubawa ke luar kepadamu; perbuatlah kepada mereka seperti yang kamu pandang baik; hanya jangan kamu apa-apakan orang-orang ini, sebab mereka memang datang untuk berlindung di dalam rumahku."
9 And they said - approach beyond and they said the one he came to sojourn and he has judged continuously now we will do harm to you more than them and they urged the man Lot exceedingly and they approached to break down the door.
Tetapi mereka berkata: "Enyahlah!" Lagi kata mereka: "Orang ini datang ke sini sebagai orang asing dan dia mau menjadi hakim atas kita! Sekarang kami akan menganiaya engkau lebih dari pada kedua orang itu!" Lalu mereka mendesak orang itu, yaitu Lot, dengan keras, dan mereka mendekat untuk mendobrak pintu.
10 And they stretched out the men hand their and they brought Lot to them the house towards and the door they closed.
Tetapi kedua orang itu mengulurkan tangannya, menarik Lot masuk ke dalam rumah, lalu menutup pintu.
11 And the men who [were] [the] entrance of the house they struck with sudden blindness from small and unto great and they became weary to find the entrance.
Dan mereka membutakan mata orang-orang yang di depan pintu rumah itu, dari yang kecil sampai yang besar, sehingga percumalah orang-orang itu mencari-cari pintu.
12 And they said the men to Lot yet who? [belongs] to you here a son-in-law and sons your and daughters your and all who [belong] to you in the city bring out from the place.
Lalu kedua orang itu berkata kepada Lot: "Siapakah kaummu yang ada di sini lagi? Menantu atau anakmu laki-laki, anakmu perempuan, atau siapa saja kaummu di kota ini, bawalah mereka keluar dari tempat ini,
13 For [are] about to destroy we the place this for it is great outcry their with [the] face of Yahweh and he has sent us Yahweh to destroy it.
sebab kami akan memusnahkan tempat ini, karena banyak keluh kesah orang tentang kota ini di hadapan TUHAN; sebab itulah TUHAN mengutus kami untuk memusnahkannya."
14 And he went out Lot and he spoke - to sons-in-law his - [who were] about to take daughters his and he said arise go out from the place this for [is] about to destroy Yahweh the city and he was like [one who] jests in [the] eyes of sons-in-law his.
Keluarlah Lot, lalu berbicara dengan kedua bakal menantunya, yang akan kawin dengan kedua anaknya perempuan, katanya: "Bangunlah, keluarlah dari tempat ini, sebab TUHAN akan memusnahkan kota ini." Tetapi ia dipandang oleh kedua bakal menantunya itu sebagai orang yang berolok-olok saja.
15 And when the dawn it came up and they urged the angels Lot saying arise take wife your and [the] two daughters your who are found lest you should be swept away in [the] punishment of the city.
Ketika fajar telah menyingsing, kedua malaikat itu mendesak Lot, supaya bersegera, katanya: "Bangunlah, bawalah isterimu dan kedua anakmu yang ada di sini, supaya engkau jangan mati lenyap karena kedurjanaan kota ini."
16 And he delayed - and they took hold the men on hand his and on [the] hand of wife his and on [the] hand of [the] two daughters his in [the] mercy of Yahweh towards him and they brought out him and they placed him from [the] outside of the city.
Ketika ia berlambat-lambat, maka tangannya, tangan isteri dan tangan kedua anaknya dipegang oleh kedua orang itu, sebab TUHAN hendak mengasihani dia; lalu kedua orang itu menuntunnya ke luar kota dan melepaskannya di sana.
17 And it was when brought out they them the outside towards and he said escape on life your may not you look behind you and may not you stop in all the valley the hill country towards escape lest you should be swept away.
Sesudah kedua orang itu menuntun mereka sampai ke luar, berkatalah seorang: "Larilah, selamatkanlah nyawamu; janganlah menoleh ke belakang, dan janganlah berhenti di manapun juga di Lembah Yordan, larilah ke pegunungan, supaya engkau jangan mati lenyap."
18 And he said Lot to them may not [it be] please O Lord.
Kata Lot kepada mereka: "Janganlah kiranya demikian, tuanku.
19 Here! please he has found servant your favor in view your and you have made great loyalty your which you have done with me by preserving alive life my and I not I am able to escape the hill country towards lest it should cling to me the calamity and I will die.
Sungguhlah hambamu ini telah dikaruniai belas kasihan di hadapanmu, dan tuanku telah berbuat kemurahan besar kepadaku dengan memelihara hidupku, tetapi jika aku harus lari ke pegunungan, pastilah aku akan tersusul oleh bencana itu, sehingga matilah aku.
20 Here! please the city this [is] near to flee there towards and it [is] a small place let me escape please there towards ¿ not a small place [is] it so it may live life my.
Sungguhlah kota yang di sana itu cukup dekat kiranya untuk lari ke sana; kota itu kecil; izinkanlah kiranya aku lari ke sana. Bukankah kota itu kecil? Jika demikian, nyawaku akan terpelihara."
21 And he said to him here! I lift up face your also to the matter this to not to overthrow I the city which you have spoken.
Sahut malaikat itu kepadanya: "Baiklah, dalam hal inipun permintaanmu akan kuterima dengan baik; yakni kota yang telah kau sebut itu tidak akan kutunggangbalikkan.
22 Hurry escape there towards for not I will be able to do anything until going you there towards there-fore someone called [the] name of the city Zoar.
Cepatlah, larilah ke sana, sebab aku tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa, sebelum engkau sampai ke sana." Itulah sebabnya nama kota itu disebut Zoar.
23 The sun it came out over the earth and Lot he went Zoar towards.
Matahari telah terbit menyinari bumi, ketika Lot tiba di Zoar.
24 And Yahweh he caused to rain on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulfur and fire from with Yahweh from the heavens.
Kemudian TUHAN menurunkan hujan belerang dan api atas Sodom dan Gomora, berasal dari TUHAN, dari langit;
25 And he overthrew the cities these and all the valley and all [the] inhabitants of the cities and [the] growth of the ground.
dan ditunggangbalikkan-Nyalah kota-kota itu dan Lembah Yordan dan semua penduduk kota-kota serta tumbuh-tumbuhan di tanah.
26 And she looked wife his from behind him and she was a pillar of salt.
Tetapi isteri Lot, yang berjalan mengikutnya, menoleh ke belakang, lalu menjadi tiang garam.
27 And he rose early Abraham in the morning to the place where he had stood there with [the] face of Yahweh.
Ketika Abraham pagi-pagi pergi ke tempat ia berdiri di hadapan TUHAN itu,
28 And he looked down on [the] face of Sodom and Gomorrah and on all [the] face of [the] land of the valley and he saw and there! it went up [the] smoke of the land like [the] smoke of furnace.
dan memandang ke arah Sodom dan Gomora serta ke seluruh tanah Lembah Yordan, maka dilihatnyalah asap dari bumi membubung ke atas sebagai asap dari dapur peleburan.
29 And it was when destroyed God [the] cities of the valley and he remembered God Abraham and he sent out Lot from [the] middle of the overthrow when overthrew the cities which he had dwelt in them Lot.
Demikianlah pada waktu Allah memusnahkan kota-kota di Lembah Yordan dan menunggangbalikkan kota-kota kediaman Lot, maka Allah ingat kepada Abraham, lalu dikeluarkan-Nyalah Lot dari tengah-tengah tempat yang ditunggangbalikkan itu.
30 And he went up Lot from Zoar and he dwelt in the hill country and [the] two daughters his [were] with him for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar and he dwelt in the cave he and [the] two daughters his.
Pergilah Lot dari Zoar dan ia menetap bersama-sama dengan kedua anaknya perempuan di pegunungan, sebab ia tidak berani tinggal di Zoar, maka diamlah ia dalam suatu gua beserta kedua anaknya.
31 And said the firstborn to the young father our he is old and [is] a man there not in the land to go on us according to [the] way of all the earth.
Kata kakaknya kepada adiknya: "Ayah kita telah tua, dan tidak ada laki-laki di negeri ini yang dapat menghampiri kita, seperti kebiasaan seluruh bumi.
32 Come! let us make drink father our wine and let us lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
Marilah kita beri ayah kita minum anggur, lalu kita tidur dengan dia, supaya kita menyambung keturunan dari ayah kita."
33 And they made drink father their wine in the night that and she came the firstborn and she lay with father her and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
Pada malam itu mereka memberi ayah mereka minum anggur, lalu masuklah yang lebih tua untuk tidur dengan ayahnya; dan ayahnya itu tidak mengetahui ketika anaknya itu tidur dan ketika ia bangun.
34 And it was from [the] next day and she said the firstborn to the young here! I lay with last night father my let us make drink him wine also this night and go lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
Keesokan harinya berkatalah kakaknya kepada adiknya: "Tadi malam aku telah tidur dengan ayah; baiklah malam ini juga kita beri dia minum anggur; masuklah engkau untuk tidur dengan dia, supaya kita menyambung keturunan dari ayah kita."
35 And they made drink also in the night that father their wine and she arose the young [one] and she lay with him and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
Demikianlah juga pada malam itu mereka memberi ayah mereka minum anggur, lalu bangunlah yang lebih muda untuk tidur dengan ayahnya; dan ayahnya itu tidak mengetahui ketika anaknya itu tidur dan ketika ia bangun.
36 And they conceived [the] two [the] daughters of Lot from father their.
Lalu mengandunglah kedua anak Lot itu dari ayah mereka.
37 And she bore the firstborn a son and she called name his Moab he [is] [the] ancestor of Moab until this day.
Yang lebih tua melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, dan menamainya Moab; dialah bapa orang Moab yang sekarang.
38 And the young also she she bore a son and she called name his Ben-Ammi he [is] [the] ancestor of [the] people of Ammon until this day.
Yang lebih mudapun melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, dan menamainya Ben-Ami; dialah bapa bani Amon yang sekarang.
