Genesis 19
1 And they came [the] two the angels Sodom towards in the evening and Lot [was] sitting in [the] gate of Sodom and he saw [them] Lot and he arose to meet them and he bowed down face [the] ground towards.
Die zwei Engel kamen gen Sodom des Abends; Lot aber saß zu Sodom unter dem Tor. Und da er sie sah, stand er auf, ihnen entgegen, und bückte sich mit seinem Angesicht zur Erde
2 And he said here! please O lords my turn aside please to [the] house of servant your and stay [the] night and wash feet your and you will rise early (and you will go *LAH(b)*) to way your and they said In-deed in the open place we will stay [the] night.
und sprach: Siehe, liebe Herren, kehrt doch ein zum Hause eures Knechtes und bleibt über Nacht; laßt eure Füße waschen, so steht ihr morgens früh auf und zieht eure Straße. Aber sie sprachen: Nein, sondern wir wollen über Nacht auf der Gasse bleiben.
3 And he urged them exceedingly and they turned aside to him and they went into house his and he prepared for them a feast and unleavened bread he baked and they ate.
Da nötigte er sie sehr; und sie kehrten zu ihm ein und kamen in sein Haus. Und er machte ihnen ein Mahl und buk ungesäuerte Kuchen; und sie aßen.
4 Before they lay down and [the] men of the city [the] men of Sodom they surrounded the house from young man and unto old [man] all the people from [the] end.
Aber ehe sie sich legten, kamen die Leute der Stadt Sodom und umgaben das ganze Haus, jung und alt, das ganze Volk aus allen Enden,
5 And they called to Lot and they said to him where? [are] the men who they came to you this night bring them to us so let us know them.
und forderten Lot und sprachen zu ihm: Wo sind die Männer, die zu dir gekommen sind diese Nacht? Führe sie heraus zu uns, daß wir sie erkennen.
6 And he went out to them Lot the entrance towards and the door he closed behind him.
Lot ging heraus zu ihnen vor die Tür und schloß die Tür hinter sich zu
7 And he said may not please O brothers my you do evil.
und sprach: Ach, liebe Brüder, tut nicht so übel!
8 Here! please [belong] to me two daughters who not they have known a man let me bring out please them to you and do to them according to the good in view your only to the men these may not you do anything for since they have come in [the] shadow of roof my.
Siehe, ich habe zwei Töchter, die haben noch keinen Mann erkannt, die will ich herausgeben unter euch, und tut mit ihnen, was euch gefällt; allein diesen Männern tut nichts, denn darum sind sie unter den Schatten meines Daches eingegangen.
9 And they said - approach beyond and they said the one he came to sojourn and he has judged continuously now we will do harm to you more than them and they urged the man Lot exceedingly and they approached to break down the door.
Sie aber sprachen: Geh hinweg! und sprachen auch: Du bist der einzige Fremdling hier und willst regieren? Wohlan, wir wollen dich übler plagen denn jene. Und sie drangen hart auf den Mann Lot. Und da sie hinzuliefen und wollten die Tür aufbrechen,
10 And they stretched out the men hand their and they brought Lot to them the house towards and the door they closed.
griffen die Männer hinaus und zogen Lot hinein zu sich ins Haus und schlossen die Tür zu.
11 And the men who [were] [the] entrance of the house they struck with sudden blindness from small and unto great and they became weary to find the entrance.
Und die Männer vor der Tür wurden mit Blindheit geschlagen, klein und groß, bis sie müde wurden und die Tür nicht finden konnten.
12 And they said the men to Lot yet who? [belongs] to you here a son-in-law and sons your and daughters your and all who [belong] to you in the city bring out from the place.
Und die Männer sprachen zu Lot: Hast du noch irgend hier einen Eidam und Söhne und Töchter, und wer dir angehört in der Stadt, den führe aus dieser Stätte.
13 For [are] about to destroy we the place this for it is great outcry their with [the] face of Yahweh and he has sent us Yahweh to destroy it.
Denn wir werden diese Stätte verderben, darum daß ihr Geschrei groß ist vor dem HERRN; der hat uns gesandt, sie zu verderben.
14 And he went out Lot and he spoke - to sons-in-law his - [who were] about to take daughters his and he said arise go out from the place this for [is] about to destroy Yahweh the city and he was like [one who] jests in [the] eyes of sons-in-law his.
Da ging Lot hinaus und redete mit seinen Eidamen, die seine Töchter nehmen sollten: Macht euch auf und geht aus diesem Ort; denn der HERR wird diese Stadt verderben. Aber es war ihnen lächerlich.
15 And when the dawn it came up and they urged the angels Lot saying arise take wife your and [the] two daughters your who are found lest you should be swept away in [the] punishment of the city.
Da nun die Morgenröte aufging, hießen die Engel den Lot eilen und sprachen: Mache dich auf, nimm dein Weib und deine zwei Töchter, die vorhanden sind, daß du nicht auch umkommst in der Missetat dieser Stadt.
16 And he delayed - and they took hold the men on hand his and on [the] hand of wife his and on [the] hand of [the] two daughters his in [the] mercy of Yahweh towards him and they brought out him and they placed him from [the] outside of the city.
Da er aber verzog, ergriffen die Männer ihn und sein Weib und seine zwei Töchter bei der Hand, darum daß der HERR ihn verschonte, und führten ihn hinaus und ließen ihn draußen vor der Stadt.
17 And it was when brought out they them the outside towards and he said escape on life your may not you look behind you and may not you stop in all the valley the hill country towards escape lest you should be swept away.
Und als sie ihn hatten hinausgebracht, sprach er: Errette dein Seele und sieh nicht hinter dich; auch stehe nicht in dieser ganzen Gegend. Auf den Berg rette dich, daß du nicht umkommst.
18 And he said Lot to them may not [it be] please O Lord.
Aber Lot sprach zu ihnen: Ach nein, Herr!
19 Here! please he has found servant your favor in view your and you have made great loyalty your which you have done with me by preserving alive life my and I not I am able to escape the hill country towards lest it should cling to me the calamity and I will die.
Siehe, dieweil dein Knecht Gnade gefunden hat vor deinen Augen, so wollest du deine Barmherzigkeit groß machen, die du an mir getan hast, daß du meine Seele am Leben erhieltest. Ich kann mich nicht auf den Berg retten; es möchte mich ein Unfall ankommen, daß ich stürbe.
20 Here! please the city this [is] near to flee there towards and it [is] a small place let me escape please there towards ¿ not a small place [is] it so it may live life my.
Siehe, da ist eine Stadt nahe, darein ich fliehen kann, und sie ist klein; dahin will ich mich retten (ist sie doch klein), daß meine Seele lebendig bleibe.
21 And he said to him here! I lift up face your also to the matter this to not to overthrow I the city which you have spoken.
Da sprach er zu ihm: Siehe, ich habe auch in diesem Stück dich angesehen, daß ich die Stadt nicht umkehre, von der du geredet hast.
22 Hurry escape there towards for not I will be able to do anything until going you there towards there-fore someone called [the] name of the city Zoar.
Eile und rette dich dahin; denn ich kann nichts tun, bis daß du hineinkommst. Daher ist diese Stadt genannt Zoar.
23 The sun it came out over the earth and Lot he went Zoar towards.
Und die Sonne war aufgegangen auf Erden, da Lot nach Zoar kam.
24 And Yahweh he caused to rain on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulfur and fire from with Yahweh from the heavens.
Da ließ der HERR Schwefel und Feuer regnen von Himmel herab auf Sodom und Gomorra
25 And he overthrew the cities these and all the valley and all [the] inhabitants of the cities and [the] growth of the ground.
und kehrte die Städte um und die ganze Gegend und alle Einwohner der Städte und was auf dem Lande gewachsen war.
26 And she looked wife his from behind him and she was a pillar of salt.
Und sein Weib sah hinter sich und ward zur Salzsäule.
27 And he rose early Abraham in the morning to the place where he had stood there with [the] face of Yahweh.
Abraham aber machte sich des Morgens früh auf an den Ort, da er gestanden vor dem HERRN,
28 And he looked down on [the] face of Sodom and Gomorrah and on all [the] face of [the] land of the valley and he saw and there! it went up [the] smoke of the land like [the] smoke of furnace.
und wandte sein Angesicht gegen Sodom und Gomorra und alles Land der Gegend und schaute; und siehe, da ging Rauch auf vom Lande wie ein Rauch vom Ofen.
29 And it was when destroyed God [the] cities of the valley and he remembered God Abraham and he sent out Lot from [the] middle of the overthrow when overthrew the cities which he had dwelt in them Lot.
Und es geschah, da Gott die Städte in der Gegend verderbte, gedachte er an den Abraham und geleitete Lot aus den Städten, die er umkehrte, darin Lot wohnte.
30 And he went up Lot from Zoar and he dwelt in the hill country and [the] two daughters his [were] with him for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar and he dwelt in the cave he and [the] two daughters his.
Und Lot zog aus Zoar und blieb auf dem Berge mit seinen beiden Töchtern; denn er fürchtete sich, zu Zoar zu bleiben; und blieb also in einer Höhle mit seinen beiden Töchtern.
31 And said the firstborn to the young father our he is old and [is] a man there not in the land to go on us according to [the] way of all the earth.
Da sprach die ältere zu der jüngeren: Unser Vater ist alt, und ist kein Mann mehr auf Erden der zu uns eingehen möge nach aller Welt Weise;
32 Come! let us make drink father our wine and let us lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
so komm, laß uns unserm Vater Wein zu trinken geben und bei ihm schlafen, daß wir Samen von unserm Vater erhalten.
33 And they made drink father their wine in the night that and she came the firstborn and she lay with father her and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
Also gaben sie ihrem Vater Wein zu trinken in derselben Nacht. Und die erste ging hinein und legte sich zu ihrem Vater; und der ward's nicht gewahr, da sie sich legte noch da sie aufstand.
34 And it was from [the] next day and she said the firstborn to the young here! I lay with last night father my let us make drink him wine also this night and go lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
Des Morgens sprach die ältere zu der jüngeren: Siehe, ich habe gestern bei meinem Vater gelegen. Laß uns ihm diese Nacht auch Wein zu trinken geben, daß du hineingehst und legst dich zu ihm, daß wir Samen von unserm Vater erhalten.
35 And they made drink also in the night that father their wine and she arose the young [one] and she lay with him and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
Also gaben sie ihrem Vater die Nacht auch Wein zu trinken. Und die jüngere machte sich auf und legte sich zu ihm; und er ward's nicht gewahr, da sie sich legte noch da sie aufstand.
36 And they conceived [the] two [the] daughters of Lot from father their.
Also wurden beide Töchter Lots schwanger von ihrem Vater.
37 And she bore the firstborn a son and she called name his Moab he [is] [the] ancestor of Moab until this day.
Und die ältere gebar einen Sohn, den nannte sie Moab. Von dem kommen her die Moabiter bis auf den heutigen Tag.
38 And the young also she she bore a son and she called name his Ben-Ammi he [is] [the] ancestor of [the] people of Ammon until this day.
Und die jüngere gebar auch einen Sohn, den hieß sie das Kind Ammi. Von dem kommen die Kinder Ammon bis auf den heutigen Tag.
