< Genesis 19 >
1 And they came [the] two the angels Sodom towards in the evening and Lot [was] sitting in [the] gate of Sodom and he saw [them] Lot and he arose to meet them and he bowed down face [the] ground towards.

2 And he said here! please O lords my turn aside please to [the] house of servant your and stay [the] night and wash feet your and you will rise early (and you will go *LAH(b)*) to way your and they said In-deed in the open place we will stay [the] night.
Te phoeiah, “Ka boei aw, na sal im la ha phael mai dae ne. Rhaeh lamtah na kho sil rhoi dae. Na thoo vetih na longpuei ah na cet dam bitni,” a ti nah. Tedae, “Pawh, toltung ah ka rhaeh rhoi bitni,” a ti rhoi.
3 And he urged them exceedingly and they turned aside to him and they went into house his and he prepared for them a feast and unleavened bread he baked and they ate.
Tedae amih rhoi te tlal a hloep dongah anih taengla hoii uh tih a im ah kun uh. Amih rhoi ham buhkoknah a saii vaengah vaidamding te a kaeng pah tih a caak uh.
4 Before they lay down and [the] men of the city [the] men of Sodom they surrounded the house from young man and unto old [man] all the people from [the] end.
Tedae a yalh uh hlan ah khopuei hlang Sodom rhoek ca neh camoe patong la pilnam boeih loh a dik a noi duela im a vael uh.
5 And they called to Lot and they said to him where? [are] the men who they came to you this night bring them to us so let us know them.
Te phoeiah Lot te a khue uh tih, “Khoyin ah nang taengla aka lo hlang rhoi te ta? Amih rhoi te ka ming uh van ham kaimih taengla han khuen,” a ti nauh.
6 And he went out to them Lot the entrance towards and the door he closed behind him.
Tedae Lot te thohka la cet tih a hnukkah thohkhaih te a khaih.
7 And he said may not please O brothers my you do evil.
Te phoeiah, “Ka manuca rhoek thaehuet uh boel mai.
8 Here! please [belong] to me two daughters who not they have known a man let me bring out please them to you and do to them according to the good in view your only to the men these may not you do anything for since they have come in [the] shadow of roof my.
Ka taengah canu panit om pueng he, te rhoi loh tongpa a ming rhoi moenih. Amih rhoi te nangmih taengla kang khuen pawn eh. Te vaengah amih rhoi te na mik loh then a ti bangla saii uh. Tedae hekah hlang rhoi taengah tah hno saii uh boeh. Ka tungpum hlipkhup la ha kun dongah he,” a ti nah.
9 And they said - approach beyond and they said the one he came to sojourn and he has judged continuously now we will do harm to you more than them and they urged the man Lot exceedingly and they approached to break down the door.
Tedae, “Thoeih lah,” a ti uh. Te phoeiah, “Bakuep hamla hlang pakhat te halo tih lai a tloek tarha aya? Amih rhoi lakah namah te kan talh uh ve ne,” a ti uh. Te vaengah hlang te khaw, Lot te khaw khak a aep uh tih thohkhaih te boh ham thoeih uh.
10 And they stretched out the men hand their and they brought Lot to them the house towards and the door they closed.
Te vaengah im khuikah hlang rhoi loh kut a yueng uh tih Lot te amih taeng lamkah im khuila a doek rhoi phoeiah thohkhaih te tlup a khaih rhoi.
11 And the men who [were] [the] entrance of the house they struck with sudden blindness from small and unto great and they became weary to find the entrance.
Te vaengah im thohka kah hlang rhoek te tanoe kangham due mikdael neh a ngawn tih thohka hmuh ham khaw khobing uh.
12 And they said the men to Lot yet who? [belongs] to you here a son-in-law and sons your and daughters your and all who [belong] to you in the city bring out from the place.
Te phoeiah hlang rhoi loh Lot taengah, “Nang taengah ulae aka om pueng? Na cava neh na capa rhoek khaw, na canu rhoek neh khopuei khuikah namah hut boeih te he hmuen lamkah khuen laeh.
13 For [are] about to destroy we the place this for it is great outcry their with [the] face of Yahweh and he has sent us Yahweh to destroy it.
BOEIPA mikhmuh ah amih kah pangngawlnah loh rhoeng coeng tih hekah hmuen he phae ham BOEIPA loh kaimih n'tueih dongah khopuei he ka phae rhoi pawn ni,” a ti rhoi.
14 And he went out Lot and he spoke - to sons-in-law his - [who were] about to take daughters his and he said arise go out from the place this for [is] about to destroy Yahweh the city and he was like [one who] jests in [the] eyes of sons-in-law his.

15 And when the dawn it came up and they urged the angels Lot saying arise take wife your and [the] two daughters your who are found lest you should be swept away in [the] punishment of the city.
Tedae mincang a pha vaengah puencawn rhoi loh Lot te a tanolh rhoi tih, “Thoo lamtah na yuu khaw, na canu aka om rhoi he khuen laeh. Khopuei kathaesainah dongah na khoengvoep ve,” a ti nah.
16 And he delayed - and they took hold the men on hand his and on [the] hand of wife his and on [the] hand of [the] two daughters his in [the] mercy of Yahweh towards him and they brought out him and they placed him from [the] outside of the city.
Te vaengah uelh tih hlang rhoek te amah kut, a yuu kut neh a canu rhoi kah kut khaw a hlaengtang uh. BOEIPA kah thinphatnah he anih soah a om dongah anih te a khuen tih khopuei vongvoel ah duem uh.
17 And it was when brought out they them the outside towards and he said escape on life your may not you look behind you and may not you stop in all the valley the hill country towards escape lest you should be swept away.
Amih te poeng la a khuen neh amih taengah, “Na hinglu te yong puei laeh. Na hnuk paelki boeh. Vannaem takuem ah pai boeh, tlang la yong laeh, na khoengvoep ve,” a ti nah.
18 And he said Lot to them may not [it be] please O Lord.
Tedae Lot loh amih rhoi taengah, “Pawh ka Boeipa bet ca mah.
19 Here! please he has found servant your favor in view your and you have made great loyalty your which you have done with me by preserving alive life my and I not I am able to escape the hill country towards lest it should cling to me the calamity and I will die.
Na sal he na mikhmuh ah mikdaithen ka dang tih na sitlohnah te na rhoengsak dongah ka hinglu hing sak ham kai taengah nan saii coeng. Tedae kai he tlang daengla yong ham tah ka coeng oeh pawh. Yoethae loh kai m'puei vetih ka duek ve.
20 Here! please the city this [is] near to flee there towards and it [is] a small place let me escape please there towards ¿ not a small place [is] it so it may live life my.
Tahae ah ke kah khopuei la rhaelrham ham yoei ta ke. Te dongah anih ke yiit cakhaw pahoi ka yong mai eh. Anih te ka hinglu aka hing sak ham yiit pawt maco?,” a ti nah.
21 And he said to him here! I lift up face your also to the matter this to not to overthrow I the city which you have spoken.
Te dongah anih te, “Hekah olka ham khaw na mikhmuhah kan paek vetih na thui khopuei te ka palet mahpawh.
22 Hurry escape there towards for not I will be able to do anything until going you there towards there-fore someone called [the] name of the city Zoar.
A loe la yong pahoi laeh, ke la na pawk hil pakhat khaw saii ham ka coeng thai moenih,” a ti nah. Te dongah khopuei ming khaw Zoar a sui.
23 The sun it came out over the earth and Lot he went Zoar towards.
Lot loh Zoar a pha vaengah khomik loh khohmuen ah thoeng coeng.
24 And Yahweh he caused to rain on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulfur and fire from with Yahweh from the heavens.
Te vaengah BOEIPA loh BOEIPA taengkah kat hmai te Sodom neh Gomorrah ah vaan lamkah a tlan sak.
25 And he overthrew the cities these and all the valley and all [the] inhabitants of the cities and [the] growth of the ground.
Te dongah tekah khopuei rhoek neh vannaem boeih khaw, khopuei kah khosa kho boeih neh diklai toian khaw a palet.
26 And she looked wife his from behind him and she was a pillar of salt.
Tedae Lot yuu loh a hnuk a paelki dongah lungkaeh tung la poeh.
27 And he rose early Abraham in the morning to the place where he had stood there with [the] face of Yahweh.
Abraham tah mincang ah BOEIPA mikhmuh kah a pai nah hmuen la pahoi hlah uh.
28 And he looked down on [the] face of Sodom and Gomorrah and on all [the] face of [the] land of the valley and he saw and there! it went up [the] smoke of the land like [the] smoke of furnace.
Sodom neh Gomorrah ben kah, vannaem khohmuen phai boeih te a dan thuk vaengah hmailing hmaikhu bangla diklai hmaikhu a thoeng te lawt a hmuh.
29 And it was when destroyed God [the] cities of the valley and he remembered God Abraham and he sent out Lot from [the] middle of the overthrow when overthrew the cities which he had dwelt in them Lot.
Tedae Pathen loh vannaem kah khopuei a phae vaengah Pathen loh Abraham te a poek. Te dongah Lot te a paletnah khui lamloh a khuen. Te phoeiah Lot loh kho a sak nah khopuei te a palet.
30 And he went up Lot from Zoar and he dwelt in the hill country and [the] two daughters his [were] with him for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar and he dwelt in the cave he and [the] two daughters his.
Te dongah Lot te Zoar lamkah nong tih tlang ah kho a sak. Te vaengah a canu panit te khaw amah taengah om. Zoar ah khosak ham a rhih dongah a canu rhoi khaw lungko khuiah om uh.
31 And said the firstborn to the young father our he is old and [is] a man there not in the land to go on us according to [the] way of all the earth.
Te vaengah a caming loh canoi la, “A pa he patong coeng tih diklai pum kah khosing la mamih rhoi taengah aka kun ham hlang khaw diklai ah om voelpawh.
32 Come! let us make drink father our wine and let us lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
Halo, a pa ke misurtui tul sih lamtah a taengah yalh sih. Te phoeiah a pa neh tiingan hing sak sih,” a ti nah.
33 And they made drink father their wine in the night that and she came the firstborn and she lay with father her and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
Te dongah a napa te amah tekah khoyin ah misurtui a tul rhoi. Te vaengah a caming kun tih a napa taengah yalh dae me vaengah yalh tih me vaengah a thoh khaw ming pawh.
34 And it was from [the] next day and she said the firstborn to the young here! I lay with last night father my let us make drink him wine also this night and go lie with him so we may preserve alive from father of our spring.
Tekah a vuen ah khaw caming loh canoi taengah, “Hlaemyin ah a pa taengla ka yalh coeng. Tihnin hlaem ah misurtui tul bal sih. Paan lamtah a taengah yalh van. A pa neh tiingan khaw hing sak sih,” a ti nah.
35 And they made drink also in the night that father their wine and she arose the young [one] and she lay with him and not he knew when lay down she and when arose she.
Amah tekah hlaem ah khaw a napa te misurtui koep a tul rhoi tih canoi loh a kun thil. A taengah yalh dae me vaengah yalh tih me vaengah a thoh khaw ming pawh.
36 And they conceived [the] two [the] daughters of Lot from father their.
Te dongah Lot canu rhoi te a napa loh a vawn sak.
37 And she bore the firstborn a son and she called name his Moab he [is] [the] ancestor of Moab until this day.
Te phoeiah caming loh capa a cun tih a ming te Moab a sui dongah tihnin due Moab rhoek kah a napa la om.
38 And the young also she she bore a son and she called name his Ben-Ammi he [is] [the] ancestor of [the] people of Ammon until this day.
Canoi long khaw capa a cun van tih a ming te Benammi a sui dongah tihnin due Ammon ca rhoek kah a napa la om.
