Genesis 18
1 And he appeared to him Yahweh at [the] great trees of Mamre and he [was] sitting [the] opening of the tent when [the] heat of the day.
Depois apareceu-lhe o Senhor nos carvalhais de Mamre, estando ele assentado à porta da tenda, quando tinha aquecido o dia.
2 And he lifted up eyes his and he saw and there! three men [were] standing with him and he saw and he ran to meet them from [the] opening of the tent and he bowed down [the] ground towards.
E levantou os seus olhos, e olhou, e eis três varões estavam em pé junto a ele. E vendo-os, correu da porta da tenda ao seu encontro, e inclinou-se à terra,
3 And he said Lord my if please I have found favor in view your may not please you pass by from with servant your.
E disse; Meu Senhor, se agora tenho achado graça nos teus olhos, rogo-te que não passes de teu servo,
4 Let it be brought please a little of water and wash feet your and support yourself under the tree.
Que se traga já uma pouca d'água, e lavai os vossos pés, e recostai-vos debaixo desta árvore;
5 So let me bring a piece of bread and sustain heart your (after *L(S)*) you will pass on for since you have passed by at servant your and they said thus you will do just as you have said.
E trarei um bocado de pão, para que esforceis o vosso coração; depois passareis adiante, porquanto por isso chegastes até vosso servo. E disseram: Assim faze como tens dito.
6 And he hurried Abraham the tent towards to Sarah and he said bring quickly three seahs flour fine flour knead [it] and make bread cakes.
E Abraão apressou-se em ir ter com Sarah à tenda, e disse-lhe: Amassa depressa três medidas de flor de farinha, e faze bolos.
7 And to the herd he ran Abraham and he took a young one of [the] herd tender and good and he gave [it] to the servant and he hurried to prepare it.
E correu Abraão às vacas, e tomou uma vitela tenra e boa, e deu-a ao moço, que se apressou era prepara-la.
8 And he brought curd and milk and [the] young one of the herd which he had prepared and he set [it] before them and he [was] standing with them under the tree and they ate.
E tomou manteiga e leite, e a vitela que tinha preparado, e pôs tudo diante deles, e ele estava em pé junto a eles debaixo da árvore; e comeram.
9 And they said to him where? [is] Sarah wife your and he said there! in the tent.
E disseram-lhe: Onde está Sarah, tua mulher? E ele disse: ei-la ai está na tenda.
10 And he said certainly I will return to you about the time living and there! a son [will belong] to Sarah wife your and Sarah [was] listening [the] opening of the tent and it [was] behind him.
E disse: Certamente tornarei a ti por este tempo da vida; e eis que Sarah tua mulher terá um filho. E ouviu-o Sarah à porta da tenda, que estava atráz dele.
11 And Abraham and Sarah [were] old [having] come in days it had ceased to be to Sarah a way like women.
E eram Abraão e Sarah já velhos, e adiantados em idade; já a Sarah havia cessado o costume das mulheres.
12 And she laughed Sarah in inner being her saying after am worn out I has it be[longed]? to me pleasure and lord my he is old.
Assim pois riu-se Sarah consigo, dizendo: Terei ainda deleite depois de haver envelhecido, sendo também o meu senhor já velho?
13 And he said Yahweh to Abraham why? this did she laugh Sarah saying ¿ also really will I bear a child and I I am old.
E disse o Senhor a Abraão: Porque se riu Sarah, dizendo: Na verdade parirei eu ainda, havendo já envelhecido?
14 ¿ Is it [too] difficult for Yahweh anything to the appointed time I will return to you about the time living and [will belong] to Sarah a son.
Haveria coisa alguma difícil ao Senhor? Ao tempo determinado tornarei a ti por este tempo da vida, e Sarah terá um filho.
15 And she denied Sarah - saying not I laughed for - she was afraid and he said - In-deed you laughed.
E Sarah negou, dizendo: Não me ri: porquanto temeu. E ele disse: Não digas isso, porque te riste.
16 And they arose from there the men and they looked down on [the] face of Sodom and Abraham [was] walking with them to send off them.
E levantaram-se aqueles varões dali, e olharam para a banda de Sodoma; e Abraão ia com eles, acompanhando-os.
17 And Yahweh he said ¿ [be] concealing [will] I from Abraham [that] which I [am] about to do.
E disse o Senhor: ocultarei eu a Abraão o que faço?
18 And Abraham certainly he will become a nation great and mighty and they will be blessed by him all [the] nations of the earth.
Visto que Abraão certamente virá a ser uma grande e poderosa nação, e nele serão benditas todas as nações da terra.
19 For I have known him so that that he may command children his and household his after him and they will keep [the] way of Yahweh by doing righteousness and justice so that will bring Yahweh on Abraham [that] which he has spoken on him.
Porque eu o tenho conhecido, que ele há de ordenar a seus filhos e a sua casa depois dele, para que guardem o caminho do Senhor, para obrar com justiça e juízo: para que o Senhor faça vir sobre Abraão o que acerca dele tem falado.
20 And he said Yahweh [the] outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah for it is great and sin their that it is heavy exceedingly.
Disse mais o Senhor: Porquanto o clamor de Sodoma e Gomorra se tem multiplicado, e porquanto o seu pecado se tem agravado muito,
21 I will go down please so I may see ¿ according to outcry its that has come to me have they done - completion and if not I will know.
Descerei agora, e verei se com efeito tem praticado segundo o seu clamor, que é vindo até mim; e se não, sabê-lo-ei.
22 And they turned away from there the men and they went Sodom towards (and Abraham *L(S)*) still [was] he standing before (Yahweh. *L(S)*)
Então viraram aqueles varões o rosto dali, e foram-se para Sodoma; mas Abraão ficou ainda em pé diante da face do Senhor.
23 And he drew near Abraham and he said ¿ also will you sweep away [the] righteous with [the] wicked.
E chegou-se Abraão, dizendo: Destruirás também o justo com o ímpio?
24 Perhaps there [are] fifty righteous [people] in [the] midst of the city ¿ also will you sweep [it] away and not will you forgive? the place for [the] sake of fifty the righteous [people] who [are] in midst its.
Se porventura houver cincoênta justos na cidade, destrui-los-ás também, e não pouparás o lugar por causa dos cincoênta justos que estão dentro dela?
25 Far be it to you from doing - according to the manner this to put to death [the] righteous with [the] wicked and it will be as the righteous [person] as the wicked [person] far be it to you ¿ [the] judge of all the earth not will he do justice.
Longe de ti que faças tal coisa, que mates o justo com o ímpio: que o justo seja como o ímpio, longe de ti seja. Não faria justiça o Juiz de toda a terra?
26 And he said Yahweh if I will find in Sodom fifty righteous [people] in [the] midst of the city and I will forgive all the place for sake of them.
Então disse o Senhor: Se eu em Sodoma achar cincoênta justos dentro da cidade, pouparei a todo o lugar por amor deles.
27 And he answered Abraham and he said here! please I have undertaken to speak to [the] Lord and I [am] dust and ash[es].
E respondeu Abraão, dizendo: Eis que agora me atrevi a falar ao Senhor, ainda que sou pó e cinza:
28 Perhaps they will lack! fifty the righteous [people] five ¿ will you destroy for five all the city and he said not I will destroy [it] if I will find there forty and five.
Porventura faltarão de cincoênta justos cinco; destruirás por aqueles cinco toda a cidade? E disse: Não a destruirei, se eu achar ali quarenta e cinco.
29 And he repeated again to speak to him and he said perhaps they will be found! there forty and he said not I will do [it] for sake of the forty.
E continuou ainda a falar-lhe, e disse: Porventura se acharão ali quarenta. E disse: Não o farei por amor dos quarenta.
30 And he said may not please it burn to [the] Lord and let me speak perhaps they will be found! there thirty and he said not I will do [it] if I will find there thirty.
Disse mais: Ora não se ire o Senhor, se eu ainda falar: Porventura se acharão ali trinta. E disse: Não o farei se achar ali trinta.
31 And he said here! please I have undertaken to speak to [the] Lord perhaps they will be found! there twenty and he said not I will destroy [it] for sake of the twenty.
E disse: Eis que agora me atrevi a falar ao Senhor: Porventura se acharão ali vinte. E disse: Não a destruirei por amor dos vinte.
32 And he said may not please it burn to [the] Lord and let me speak only this time perhaps they will be found! there ten and he said not I will destroy [it] for sake of the ten.
Disse mais: Ora não se ire o Senhor, que ainda só mais esta vez falo: Porventura se acharão ali dez. E disse: Não a destruirei por amor dos dez
33 And he went Yahweh just as he had finished to speak to Abraham and Abraham he returned to place his.
E foi-se o Senhor, quando acabou de falar a Abraão: e Abraão tornou-se ao seu lugar.
