< Genesis 17 >

1 And he was Abram a son of ninety year[s] and nine years and he appeared Yahweh to Abram and he said to him I [am] God Almighty walk about before me and be blameless.
Cuando Abram tenía noventa y nueve años, Yahvé se le apareció y le dijo: “Yo soy el Dios Todopoderoso. Camina delante de mí y sé irreprochable.
2 So let me make covenant my between me and between you so I may increase you with muchness muchness.
Haré mi pacto entre yo y tú, y te multiplicaré en gran manera”.
3 And he fell Abram on face his and he spoke with him God saying.
Abram se postró sobre su rostro. Dios habló con él, diciendo:
4 I here! covenant my [is] with you and you will become a father of a multitude of nations.
“En cuanto a mí, he aquí que mi pacto es contigo. Serás el padre de una multitud de naciones.
5 And not it will be called again name your Abram and it will be name your Abraham for a father of a multitude of nations I have made you.
Ya no te llamarás Abram, sino que tu nombre será Abraham, porque te he hecho padre de una multitud de naciones.
6 And I will make fruitful you with muchness muchness and I will make you into nations and kings from you they will come out.
Te haré fructificar en gran medida, y haré naciones de ti. De ti saldrán reyes.
7 And I will establish covenant my between me and between you and between offspring your after you for generations their to a covenant of perpetuity to become for you God and for offspring your after you.
Estableceré mi pacto entre mí y tú y tu descendencia después de ti por sus generaciones, como un pacto eterno, para ser un Dios para ti y para tu descendencia después de ti.
8 And I will give to you and to offspring your after you - [the] land of sojournings your all [the] land of Canaan to a possession of perpetuity and I will become for them God.
Te daré a ti, y a tu descendencia después de ti, la tierra por la que viajas, toda la tierra de Canaán, como posesión eterna. Yo seré su Dios”.
9 And he said God to Abraham and you covenant my you will keep you and offspring your after you for generations their.
Dios dijo a Abraham: “En cuanto a ti, guardarás mi pacto, tú y tu descendencia después de ti por sus generaciones.
10 This [is] covenant my which you will keep between me and between you and between offspring your after you they will be circumcised of you every male.
Este es mi pacto, que guardarás, entre tú y yo y tu descendencia después de ti. Todo varón de entre vosotros será circuncidado.
11 And you will be circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin your and it will become a sign of [the] covenant between me and between you.
Será circuncidado en la carne de su prepucio. Será una señal de la alianza entre mí y vosotros.
12 And a son of eight days he will be circumcised of you every male for generations your one born of [the] household and a purchase of silver from every son of foreignness who not [is] one of offspring your he.
Será circuncidado entre vosotros el que tenga ocho días de edad, todo varón a lo largo de vuestras generaciones, el que haya nacido en la casa o haya sido comprado con dinero a cualquier extranjero que no sea de vuestra descendencia.
13 Definitely - he will be circumcised [the] one born of household your and [the] purchase of silver your and it will be covenant my in flesh your to a covenant of perpetuity.
El que nazca en tu casa, y el que sea comprado con tu dinero, debe ser circuncidado. Mi pacto estará en tu carne como pacto eterno.
14 And an uncircumcised - male who not he will be circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin his and it will be cut off the person that from kinspeople its covenant my he has broken.
El varón incircunciso que no esté circuncidado en la carne de su prepucio, esa alma será cortada de su pueblo. Ha roto mi pacto”.
15 And he said God to Abraham Sarai wife your not you will call name her Sarai for [is] Sarah name her.
Dios dijo a Abraham: “En cuanto a Sarai, tu mujer, no la llamarás Sarai, sino que su nombre será Sara.
16 And I will bless her and also I will give from her to you a son and I will bless her and she will become nations kings of peoples from her they will be.
Yo la bendeciré, y además te daré un hijo de ella. Sí, la bendeciré, y será madre de naciones. De ella saldrán reyes de pueblos”.
17 And he fell Abraham on face his and he laughed and he said in heart his ¿ to a son of one hundred year[s] will he be born and or? Sarah ¿ a daughter of ninety year[s] will she bear a child.
Entonces Abraham se postró sobre su rostro y se rió, y dijo en su corazón: “¿Le nacerá un hijo a quien tiene cien años? ¿Dará a luz Sara, que tiene noventa años?”
18 And he said Abraham to God if Ishmael he will live before you.
Abraham dijo a Dios: “¡Oh, que Ismael viva ante ti!”
19 And he said God but Sarah wife your [is] about to bear to you a son and you will call name his Isaac and I will establish covenant my with him to a covenant of perpetuity for offspring his after him.
Dios dijo: “No, pero Sara, tu mujer, te dará un hijo. Lo llamarás Isaac. Estableceré mi pacto con él como un pacto eterno para su descendencia después de él.
20 And to Ishmael I have heard you here! - I will bless him and I will make fruitful him and I will multiply him with muchness muchness two [plus] ten princes he will father and I will make him into a nation great.
En cuanto a Ismael, te he escuchado. He aquí que lo he bendecido, lo haré fructificar y lo multiplicaré en gran manera. Llegará a ser padre de doce príncipes, y haré de él una gran nación.
21 And covenant my I will establish with Isaac whom she will bear to you Sarah to the time this in the year following.
Pero yo estableceré mi alianza con Isaac, a quien Sara dará a luz en esta época del año próximo.”
22 And he finished to speak with him and he went up God from with Abraham.
Cuando terminó de hablar con él, Dios se alejó de Abraham.
23 And he took Abraham Ishmael son his and all those born of household his and all [the] purchase of silver his every male among [the] men of [the] household of Abraham and he circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin their on [the] substance of the day this just as he had spoken with him God.
Abraham tomó a su hijo Ismael, a todos los nacidos en su casa y a todos los comprados con su dinero; a todo varón de la casa de Abraham, y circuncidó la carne de su prepucio en el mismo día, como Dios le había dicho.
24 And Abraham [was] a son of ninety and nine year[s] when was circumcised he [the] flesh of foreskin his.
Abraham tenía noventa y nueve años cuando fue circuncidado en la carne de su prepucio.
25 And Ishmael son his [was] a son of thir-teen year[s] when was circumcised he [the] flesh of foreskin his.
Ismael, su hijo, tenía trece años cuando fue circuncidado en la carne de su prepucio.
26 On [the] substance of the day this he was circumcised Abraham and Ishmael son his.
El mismo día fueron circuncidados Abraham e Ismael, su hijo.
27 And all [the] men of household his one born of [the] household and a purchase of silver from with a son of foreignness they were circumcised with him.
Todos los hombres de su casa, los nacidos en ella y los comprados con dinero a un extranjero, fueron circuncidados con él.
