Genesis 17
1 And he was Abram a son of ninety year[s] and nine years and he appeared Yahweh to Abram and he said to him I [am] God Almighty walk about before me and be blameless.
Als nun Abram neunundneunzig Jahre alt war, erschien ihm der HERR und sprach zu ihm: Ich bin der allmächtige Gott. Wandle vor mir und sei tadellos!
2 So let me make covenant my between me and between you so I may increase you with muchness muchness.
Und ich will meinen Bund stiften zwischen mir und dir und will dich über alle Maßen mehren!
3 And he fell Abram on face his and he spoke with him God saying.
Da fiel Abram auf sein Angesicht. Und Gott redete weiter mit ihm und sprach:
4 I here! covenant my [is] with you and you will become a father of a multitude of nations.
Siehe, ich bin der, welcher im Bunde mit dir steht; und du sollst ein Vater vieler Völker werden.
5 And not it will be called again name your Abram and it will be name your Abraham for a father of a multitude of nations I have made you.
Darum sollst du nicht mehr Abram heißen, sondern Abraham soll dein Name sein; denn ich habe dich zu einem Vater vieler Völker gemacht.
6 And I will make fruitful you with muchness muchness and I will make you into nations and kings from you they will come out.
Und ich will dich sehr, sehr fruchtbar machen und will dich zu Völkern machen, auch Könige sollen von dir herkommen.
7 And I will establish covenant my between me and between you and between offspring your after you for generations their to a covenant of perpetuity to become for you God and for offspring your after you.
Und ich will meinen Bund aufrichten zwischen mir und dir und deinem Samen nach dir von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht, daß es ein ewiger Bund sei; also, daß ich dein Gott sei und deines Samens nach dir.
8 And I will give to you and to offspring your after you - [the] land of sojournings your all [the] land of Canaan to a possession of perpetuity and I will become for them God.
Und ich will dir und deinem Samen nach dir das Land geben, darin du ein Fremdling bist, nämlich das ganze Land Kanaan, zur ewigen Besitzung, und ich will ihr Gott sein.
9 And he said God to Abraham and you covenant my you will keep you and offspring your after you for generations their.
Und Gott sprach weiter zu Abraham: So bewahre nun meinen Bund, du und dein Same nach dir, von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht!
10 This [is] covenant my which you will keep between me and between you and between offspring your after you they will be circumcised of you every male.
Das ist aber mein Bund, den ihr bewahren sollt, zwischen mir und euch und deinem Samen nach dir: Alles, was männlich ist unter euch, soll beschnitten werden.
11 And you will be circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin your and it will become a sign of [the] covenant between me and between you.
Ihr sollt aber die Vorhaut eures Fleisches beschneiden. Das soll ein Zeichen des Bundes sein zwischen mir und euch.
12 And a son of eight days he will be circumcised of you every male for generations your one born of [the] household and a purchase of silver from every son of foreignness who not [is] one of offspring your he.
Jedes Knäblein von euren Geschlechtern, wenn es acht Tage alt ist, sollt ihr beschneiden, sei es im Haus geboren oder um Geld erkauft von irgend einem Ausländer, der nicht deines Samens ist.
13 Definitely - he will be circumcised [the] one born of household your and [the] purchase of silver your and it will be covenant my in flesh your to a covenant of perpetuity.
Was in deinem Hause geboren oder um Geld erkauft wird, soll beschnitten werden. Also soll mein Bund an eurem Fleische sein, ein ewiger Bund.
14 And an uncircumcised - male who not he will be circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin his and it will be cut off the person that from kinspeople its covenant my he has broken.
Und wenn ein Knäblein an der Vorhaut seines Fleisches nicht beschnitten wird, dessen Seele soll aus seinem Volke ausgerottet werden, weil es meinen Bund gebrochen hat.
15 And he said God to Abraham Sarai wife your not you will call name her Sarai for [is] Sarah name her.
Und Gott sprach abermal zu Abraham: Du sollst dein Weib Sarai nicht mehr Sarai nennen, sondern Sarah soll ihr Name sein.
16 And I will bless her and also I will give from her to you a son and I will bless her and she will become nations kings of peoples from her they will be.
Denn ich will sie segnen und will dir auch von ihr einen Sohn geben. Ich will sie segnen, und sie soll zu Nationen werden, und Könige von Völkern sollen von ihr kommen.
17 And he fell Abraham on face his and he laughed and he said in heart his ¿ to a son of one hundred year[s] will he be born and or? Sarah ¿ a daughter of ninety year[s] will she bear a child.
Da fiel Abraham auf sein Angesicht und lachte und sprach in seinem Herzen: Soll mir Hundertjährigem ein Kind geboren werden, und Sarah, neunzig Jahre alt, gebären!
18 And he said Abraham to God if Ishmael he will live before you.
Und Abraham sprach zu Gott: Ach, daß Ismael vor dir leben sollte!
19 And he said God but Sarah wife your [is] about to bear to you a son and you will call name his Isaac and I will establish covenant my with him to a covenant of perpetuity for offspring his after him.
Da sprach Gott: Nein, sondern Sarah, dein Weib, soll dir einen Sohn gebären, den sollst du Isaak nennen; denn ich will mit ihm einen Bund aufrichten als einen ewigen Bund für seinen Samen nach ihm.
20 And to Ishmael I have heard you here! - I will bless him and I will make fruitful him and I will multiply him with muchness muchness two [plus] ten princes he will father and I will make him into a nation great.
Wegen Ismael habe ich dich auch erhört. Siehe, ich habe ihn reichlich gesegnet und will ihn fruchtbar machen und sehr mehren. Er wird zwölf Fürsten zeugen, und ich will ihn zum großen Volke machen.
21 And covenant my I will establish with Isaac whom she will bear to you Sarah to the time this in the year following.
Meinen Bund aber will ich mit Isaak aufrichten, den dir Sarah um diese bestimmte Zeit im andern Jahre gebären soll.
22 And he finished to speak with him and he went up God from with Abraham.
Und da er mit ihm ausgeredet hatte, fuhr Gott auf von Abraham.
23 And he took Abraham Ishmael son his and all those born of household his and all [the] purchase of silver his every male among [the] men of [the] household of Abraham and he circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin their on [the] substance of the day this just as he had spoken with him God.
Da nahm Abraham seinen Sohn Ismael und alle, die in seinem Hause geboren, und alle, die um sein Geld erkauft waren, alles, was männlich war unter seinen Hausgenossen, und beschnitt die Vorhaut ihres Fleisches an ebendemselben Tage, wie Gott ihm gesagt hatte.
24 And Abraham [was] a son of ninety and nine year[s] when was circumcised he [the] flesh of foreskin his.
Und Abraham war neunundneunzig Jahre alt, als das Fleisch seiner Vorhaut beschnitten ward.
25 And Ishmael son his [was] a son of thir-teen year[s] when was circumcised he [the] flesh of foreskin his.
Ismael aber, sein Sohn, war dreizehn Jahre alt, als das Fleisch seiner Vorhaut beschnitten ward.
26 On [the] substance of the day this he was circumcised Abraham and Ishmael son his.
An ebendemselben Tag ließen sich Abraham und sein Sohn Ismael beschneiden;
27 And all [the] men of household his one born of [the] household and a purchase of silver from with a son of foreignness they were circumcised with him.
und alles, was männlich war in seinem Hause, daheim geboren und von Fremdlingen um Geld erkauft, ward mit ihm beschnitten.
