Genesis 14
1 And it was in [the] days of Amraphel [the] king of Shinar Arioch [the] king of Ellasar Kedorlaomer [the] king of Elam and Tidal [the] king of Goyim.
௧சிநெயாரின் ராஜாவாகிய அம்ராப்பேலும், ஏலாசாரின் ராஜாவாகிய அரியோகும், ஏலாமின் ராஜாவாகிய கெதர்லா கோமேரும், கோயிமின் ராஜாவாகிய திதியாலும் இருந்த நாட்களில்;
2 They made war with Bera [the] king of Sodom and with Birsha [the] king of Gomorrah Shinab - [the] king of Admah and Shemeber [the] king of (Zeboiim *Q(k)*) and [the] king of Bela that [is] Zoar.
௨அவர்கள் சோதோமின் ராஜாவாகிய பேராவோடும், கொமோராவின் ராஜாவாகிய பிர்சாவோடும், அத்மாவின் ராஜாவாகிய சிநெயாவோடும், செபோயீமின் ராஜாவாகிய செமேபரோடும், சோவார் என்னும் பேலாவின் ராஜாவோடும் யுத்தம் செய்தார்கள்.
3 All these they joined together to [the] valley of Siddim that [is] [the] Sea of Salt.
௩இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் உப்புக்கடலாகிய சித்தீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே கூடினார்கள்.
4 Two [plus] ten year[s] they had served Kedorlaomer and thir-teen year they rebelled.
௪இவர்கள் 12 வருடங்கள் கெதர்லாகோமேரைச் சேவித்து, 13 ஆம் வருடத்திலே கலகம் செய்தார்கள்.
5 And in four-teen year he came Kedorlaomer and the kings who [were] with him and they defeated [the] Rephaites in Ashteroth Karnaim and the Zuzites in Ham and the Emites in Shaveh Kiriathaim.
௫14 ஆம் வருடத்திலே கெதர்லாகோமேரும், அவனோடு கூடியிருந்த ராஜாக்களும் வந்து, அஸ்தரோத்கர்னாயீமிலே இருந்த ரெப்பாயீமியரையும், காமிலே இருந்த சூசிமியரையும், சாவேகீரியத்தாயீமிலே இருந்த ஏமியரையும்,
6 And the Horite[s] in hill country of their Seir to El Paran which [is] at the wilderness.
௬சேயீர் மலைகளில் இருந்த ஓரியரையும், வனாந்திரத்திற்கு அருகிலுள்ள எல்பாரான்வரை தோற்கடித்து,
7 And they turned back and they came to En Mishpat that [is] Kadesh and they defeated all [the] region of the Amalekite[s] and also the Amorite[s] who was dwelling in Hazezon Tamar.
௭திரும்பிக் காதேஸ் என்னும் என்மிஸ்பாத்துக்கு வந்து, அமலேக்கியர்களுடைய நாடு முழுவதையும், ஆசாசோன் தாமாரிலே குடியிருந்த எமோரியரையும் கூட அழித்தார்கள்.
8 And he went out [the] king of Sodom and [the] king of Gomorrah and [the] king of Admah and [the] king of (Zeboiim *Q(k)*) and [the] king of Bela that [is] Zoar and they deployed with them battle in [the] valley of Siddim.
௮அப்பொழுது சோதோமின் ராஜாவும், கொமோராவின் ராஜாவும், அத்மாவின் ராஜாவும், செபோயீமின் ராஜாவும், சோவார் என்னும் பேலாவின் ராஜாவும் புறப்பட்டு சித்தீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே,
9 With Kedorlaomer [the] king of Elam and Tidal [the] king of Goyim and Amraphel [the] king of Shinar and Arioch [the] king of Ellasar four kings with the five.
௯ஏலாமின் ராஜாவாகிய கெதர்லாகோமேரோடும், கோயிமின் ராஜாவாகிய திதியாலோடும், சிநெயாரின் ராஜாவாகிய அம்ராப்பேலோடும், ஏலாசாரின் ராஜாவாகிய அரியோகோடும் யுத்தம்செய்யப் புறப்பட்டு, அந்த ஐந்து ராஜாக்களோடும் இந்த நான்கு ராஜாக்களும் யுத்தம் செய்தார்கள்.
10 And [the] valley of Siddim [was] pits pits of bitumen and they fled [the] king of Sodom and Gomorrah and they fell there towards and those [who] survived [the] hill country towards they fled.
௧0அந்த சித்தீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் நிலக்கீல் உண்டாகும் கிணறுகள் இருந்தன. சோதோம் கொமோராவின் ராஜாக்கள் தோற்று ஓடி அங்கே விழுந்தார்கள்; மீதமுள்ளவர்கள் மலைகளுக்கு ஓடிப்போனார்கள்.
11 And they took all [the] possession[s] of Sodom and Gomorrah and all food their and they went.
௧௧அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் சோதோமிலும் கொமோராவிலுமுள்ள பொருட்கள் மற்றும் உணவுப்பொருட்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போய்விட்டார்கள்.
12 And they took Lot and possession[s] his [the] son of [the] brother of Abram and they went and he [was] dwelling in Sodom.
௧௨ஆபிராமின் சகோதரனுடைய மகனாகிய லோத்து சோதோமிலே குடியிருந்ததால், அவனையும், அவனுடைய பொருட்களையும் கொண்டுபோய்விட்டார்கள்.
13 And he came the fugitive and he told to Abram the Hebrew and he [was] dwelling at [the] great trees of Mamre the Amorite [the] brother of Eshcol and [the] brother of Aner and they [were] [the] partners of [the] covenant of Abram.
௧௩தப்பியோடின ஒருவன் எபிரெயனாகிய ஆபிராமிடத்தில் வந்து அதைத் தெரிவித்தான்; ஆபிராம் தன்னுடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்திருந்த மனிதர்களாகிய எஸ்கோலுக்கும், ஆநேருக்கும் சகோதரனாகிய மம்ரே என்னும் எமோரியனுடைய சமபூமியிலே அப்பொழுது குடியிருந்தான்.
14 And he heard Abram that he had been taken captive relative his and he drew out trained men his those born of household his eight-teen and three hundred and he pursued to Dan.
௧௪தன் சகோதரன் சிறையாகக் கொண்டுபோகப்பட்டதை ஆபிராம் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, அவன் தன் வீட்டிலே பிறந்த யுத்தப்பயிற்சி பெற்றவர்களாகிய 318 ஆட்களுக்கும் ஆயுதம் அணிவித்து, தாண் என்னும் ஊர்வரை அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்துபோய்,
15 And divided himself on them - night he and servants his and he attacked them and he pursued them to Hobah which [is] from [the] north of Damascus.
௧௫இரவுநேரத்திலே அவனும், அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரரும் பிரிந்து, குழுக்களாக அவர்கள்மேல் விழுந்து, அவர்களைத் தோற்கடித்து, தமஸ்குவுக்கு இடதுபுறமான ஓபாவரைத் துரத்தி,
16 And he brought back all the possession[s] and also Lot relative his and possession[s] his he brought back and also the women and the people.
௧௬அனைத்து பொருட்களையும் திருப்பிக்கொண்டுவந்தான்; தன் சகோதரனாகிய லோத்தையும், அவனுடைய பொருட்களையும், பெண்களையும், மக்களையும் திருப்பிக்கொண்டுவந்தான்.
17 And he went out [the] king of Sodom to meet him after returned he from defeating (Kedor-laomer *LBH(A)*) and the kings who [were] with him to [the] valley of Shaveh that [is] [the] valley of the king.
௧௭அவன் கெதர்லாகோமேரையும், அவனோடிருந்த ராஜாக்களையும் தோற்கடித்துத் திரும்பிவருகிறபோது, சோதோமின் ராஜா புறப்பட்டு, ராஜாவின் பள்ளத்தாக்கு என்னும் சாவே பள்ளத்தாக்குவரை அவனுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோனான்.
18 And Melchi-zedek [the] king of Salem he brought out bread and wine and he [was] a priest of God Most High.
௧௮அன்றியும், உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய ஆசாரியனாயிருந்த சாலேமின் ராஜாவாகிய மெல்கிசேதேக்கு அப்பமும் திராட்சைரசமும் கொண்டுவந்து,
19 And he blessed him and he said [be] blessed Abram by God Most High [the] creator of heaven and earth.
௧௯அவனை ஆசீர்வதித்து: “வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உடையவராகிய உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதம் ஆபிராமுக்கு உண்டாவதாக.
20 And [be] blessed God Most High who he has delivered opponents your in hand your and he gave to him a tenth from everything.
௨0உன் எதிரிகளை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்த உன்னதமான தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்” என்று சொன்னான். இவனுக்கு ஆபிராம் எல்லாவற்றிலும் தசமபாகம் கொடுத்தான்.
21 And he said [the] king of Sodom to Abram give to me the person[s] and the possession[s] take for yourself.
௨௧சோதோமின் ராஜா ஆபிராமை நோக்கி: “மக்களை எனக்குத் தாரும், பொருட்களை நீர் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும்” என்றான்.
22 And he said Abram to [the] king of Sodom I raise hand my to Yahweh God Most High [the] creator of heaven and earth.
௨௨அதற்கு ஆபிராம் சோதோமின் ராஜாவைப் பார்த்து; “ஆபிராமை செல்வந்தனாக்கினேன் என்று நீர் சொல்லாமலிருக்க நான் ஒரு நூலையாகிலும் காலணியின் வாரையாகிலும், உமக்கு உண்டானவைகளில் ஒன்றையாகிலும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளமாட்டேன் என்று,
23 If from a thread and unto a thong of a sandal and if I will take any of all that [belongs] to you and not you will say I I made rich Abram.
௨௩வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உடையவராகிய உன்னதமான தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கு நேராக என் கையை உயர்த்துகிறேன்.
24 Apart from me only [that] which they have eaten the young men and [the] share of the men who went with me Aner Eshcol and Mamre they let them take share their.
௨௪வாலிபர்கள் சாப்பிட்டதுபோக, என்னுடன் வந்த ஆநேர், எஸ்கோல், மம்ரே என்னும் மனிதர்களுடைய பங்குமாத்திரமே வரவேண்டும்; இவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பங்குகளை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளட்டும்” என்றான்.
