Genesis 13
1 And he went up Abram from Egypt he and wife his and all that [belonged] to him and Lot with him the Negev towards.
Feljöve azért Ábrám Égyiptomból, ő és az ő felesége, és mindene valamije vala, és Lót is ő vele, a déli tartományba.
2 And Abram [was] wealthy very in livestock in silver and in gold.
Ábrám pedig igen gazdag vala barmokkal, ezüsttel és aranynyal.
3 And he went to journeyings his from [the] Negev and to Beth-el to the place where it had been there (tent his *Q(K)*) at the beginning between Beth-el and between Ai.
És méne helyről helyre délfelől mind Béthelig, oda a hol először vala az ő sátora, Béthel és Hái között.
4 To [the] place of the altar which he had made there at the former [time] and he called there Abram on [the] name of Yahweh.
Annak az oltárnak helyére, melyet ott elsőben készített vala: és segítségűl hívá ott Ábrám az Úrnak nevét.
5 And also to Lot who was traveling with Abram it be[longed] sheep and cattle and tents.
Lótnak is pedig, a ki Ábrámmal jár vala, valának juhai, ökrei és sátorai.
6 And not it supported them the land to dwell together for it was possession[s] their much and not they were able to dwell together.
És nem bírá meg őket az a föld, hogy együtt lakjanak, mert sok jószáguk vala, és nem lakhatának együtt.
7 And it was quarreling between [the] herdsmen of [the] livestock of Abram and between [the] herdsmen of [the] livestock of Lot and the Canaanite[s] and the Perizzite[s] then [was] dwelling in the land.
Versengés is támada az Ábrám barompásztorai között, és a Lót barompásztorai között; és a Kananeusok és a Perizeusok is ott laknak vala akkor azon a földön.
8 And he said Abram to Lot may not please there be strife between me and between you and between herdsmen my and between herdsmen your for [are] men brothers we.
Monda azért Ábrám Lótnak: Ne legyen versengés közöttem és közötted, se az én pásztoraim között és a te pásztoraid között: hiszen atyafiak vagyunk.
9 ¿ Not [is] all the land before you separate please from with me if the left so let me go right and if the right and I will go left.
Avagy nincsen-é előtted mind az egész föld? Válj el kérlek, tőlem; ha te balra tartasz, én jobbra megyek; ha te jobbra menéndesz, én balra térek.
10 And he lifted up Lot eyes his and he saw all [the] valley of the Jordan that all of it [was] well-watered before - destroyed Yahweh Sodom and Gomorrah like [the] garden of Yahweh like [the] land of Egypt going you Zoar.
Felemelé azért Lót az ő szemeit, és látá, hogy a Jordán egész melléke bővizű föld; mert minekelőtte elvesztette volna az Úr Sodomát és Gomorát, mind Czoárig olyan vala az, mint az Úr kertje, mint Égyiptom földe.
11 And he chose for himself Lot all [the] valley of the Jordan and he set out Lot from [the] east and they separated each from with brother his.
És választá Lót magának a Jordán egész mellékét, és elköltözék Lót kelet felé: és elválának egymástól.
12 Abram he dwelt in [the] land of Canaan and Lot he dwelt in [the] cities of the valley and he moved tent to Sodom.
Ábrám lakozik vala a Kanaán földén, Lót pedig lakozik vala a Jordán-melléki városokban, és sátoroz vala Sodomáig.
13 And [the] people of Sodom [were] wicked and sinful to Yahweh exceedingly.
Sodoma lakosai pedig nagyon gonoszok és bűnösök valának az Úr előtt.
14 And Yahweh he said to Abram after separated Lot from with him lift up please eyes your and look from the place where you [are] there north-ward and south-ward and east-ward and west-ward.
Az Úr pedig monda Ábrámnak, minekutánna elválék tőle Lót: Emeld fel szemeidet és tekints arról a helyről, a hol vagy, északra, délre, keletre és nyugotra.
15 For all the land which you [are] seeing to you I will give it and to offspring your until perpetuity.
Mert mind az egész földet, a melyet látsz, néked adom, és a te magodnak örökre.
16 And I will make offspring your like [the] dust of the earth which - if he will be able anyone to count [the] dust of the earth also offspring your it will numbered.
És olyanná tészem a te magodat, mint a földnek pora, hogyha valaki megszámlálhatja a földnek porát, a te magod is megszámlálható lesz.
17 Arise walk about in the land to length its and to breadth its for to you I will give it.
Kelj fel, járd be ez országot hosszában és széltében: mert néked adom azt.
18 And he moved tent Abram and he went and he dwelt at [the] great trees of Mamre which [are] at Hebron and he built there an altar to Yahweh.
Elébb mozdítá azért sátorát Ábrám, és elméne, és lakozék Mamré tölgyesében, mely Hebronban van, és oltárt építe ott az Úrnak.
