Genesis 1
1 In beginning he created God the heavens and the earth.
Al principio Dios hizo el cielo y la tierra.
2 And the earth was formlessness and emptiness and darkness [was] over [the] surface of [the] deep and [the] spirit of God [was] hovering over [the] surface of the waters.
Y la tierra estaba desordenada y sin forma; y estaba oscuro sobre la faz del abismo: y el Espíritu de Dios se movía sobre la faz de las aguas.
3 And he said God let it be light and there was light.
Y dijo Dios: Hágase la luz, y fué la luz.
4 And he saw God the light that [it was] good and he separated God between the light and between the darkness.
Y mirando Dios a la luz, vio que era buena; y Dios hizo una división entre la luz y la oscuridad,
5 And he called God - the light day and the darkness he called night and there was evening and there was morning day one.
Nombrando la luz, el día y la oscuridad, la noche. Y hubo tarde y hubo mañana, el primer día.
6 And he said God let it be a firmament in [the] middle of the waters and let it be separating between waters to waters.
Y dijo Dios: Haya un arco visible del cielo que se extiende sobre las aguas, separando las aguas de las aguas.
7 And he made God the firmament and he separated between the waters which [were] from under to the firmament and between the waters which [were] from the firmament and it was so.
E hizo la tierra, Dios él Señor el arco visible del cielo para dividir entre las aguas que estaban debajo del arco y las que estaban sobre él; y fue así.
8 And he called God the firmament heaven and there was evening and there was morning a day second.
Y Dios le dio al arco el nombre de Cielo. Y hubo tarde y hubo mañana, el segundo día.
9 And he said God let them gather the waters from under the heavens to a place one and let it appear the dry ground and it was so.
Y dijo Dios: Júntense las aguas debajo de los cielos en un lugar, y que se vea la tierra seca; y fue así.
10 And he called God - the dry ground earth and [the] collection of the waters he called seas and he saw God that [it was] good.
Y Dios dio a la tierra firme el nombre de la tierra; y las aguas juntas en su lugar fueron llamadas mares; y Dios vio que era bueno.
11 And he said God let it sprout the earth vegetation plant[s] [which] bears seed seed tree[s] of fruit producing fruit to kind its which seed its [is] in it on the earth and it was so.
Y dijo Dios: que produzca hierba en la tierra, y plantas que produzcan semilla, y árboles frutales que dan fruto, en lo cual está su simiente, según su género; y fue así.
12 And brought forth the earth vegetation plant[s] [which] bears seed seed to kind its and tree[s] (producing *LAH(b)*) fruit which seed its [was] in it to kind its and he saw God that [it was] good.
Y produjo hierba sobre la tierra, y toda planta que produce simiente de su género, y todo árbol que produce fruto, en el cual está su simiente, de su especie; y vio Dios que era bueno.
13 And there was evening and there was morning a day third.
Y fue la tarde y la mañana, el tercer día.
14 And he said God let it be luminaries in [the] firmament of the heavens to separate between the day and between the night and they will become signs and appointed times and days and years.
Y dijo Dios: Haya luces en el arco del cielo, para división entre el día y la noche, y sean por señales, y para marcar los cambios del año, y por días y años;
15 And they will become luminaries in [the] firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth and it was so.
Y sean por lumbreras en el arco del cielo para alumbrar la tierra; y fue así.
16 And he made God [the] two the luminaries great the luminary great for [the] dominion of the day and the luminary small for [the] dominion of the night and the stars.
E hizo Dios él Señor las dos grandes lámparas: la lumbrera mayor para ser la gobernante del día, y la lumbrera menor para ser el soberano de la noche; e hizo las estrellas.
17 And he set them God in [the] firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth.
Y los puso Dios en el arco del cielo, para alumbrar la tierra;
18 And to rule over the day and over the night and to separate between the light and between the darkness and he saw God that [it was] good.
para tener dominio sobre el día y la noche, y para una división entre la luz y la oscuridad: y Dios vio que era bueno.
19 And there was evening and there was morning a day fourth.
Y fue la tarde y la mañana, el cuarto día.
20 And he said God let them swarm the waters swarming thing[s] creature[s] living and bird[s] let it fly above the earth on [the] surface of [the] firmament of the heavens.
Y dijo Dios: Las aguas produzcan seres vivientes, y las aves vuelen sobre la tierra debajo del arco del cielo.
21 And he created God the sea monsters great and every creature living - which creeps which they swarmed the waters to kind their and every bird of wing to kind its and he saw God that [it was] good.
E hizo Dios grandes bestias de mar, y todo tipo de cosas vivas que las aguas producen, con las cuales se llenaron las aguas, y todo tipo de ave alada; y vio Dios que era bueno.
22 And he blessed them God saying be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas and the bird[s] let it multiply on the earth.
Y Dios les bendijo, diciendo: Sé fértil y multiplícate, llenando todas las aguas de los mares, y que las aves crezcan en la tierra.
23 And there was evening and there was morning a day fifth.
Y fue la tarde y la mañana, el quinto día.
24 And he said God let it produce the earth creature[s] living to kind its livestock and creeping thing[s] and animal[s] of [the] earth to kind its and it was so.
Y dijo Dios: La tierra dé a luz toda clase de seres vivientes, vacas y todo lo que se mueve sobre la tierra, y las bestias de la tierra según su género; y fue así.
25 And he made God [the] animal[s] of the earth to kind its and the livestock to kind its and every creeping thing of the ground to kind its and he saw God that [it was] good.
Y Dios hizo las bestias de la tierra según su género, y el ganado según su género, y todo lo que se movía sobre la faz de la tierra según su género; y vio Dios que era bueno.
26 And he said God let us make humankind in image our according to likeness our and they may rule over [the] fish of the sea and over [the] bird[s] of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing which creeps on the earth.
Y dijo Dios: Hagamos al hombre a nuestra imagen, como nosotros; y gobierne sobre los peces del mar, y sobre las aves del cielo, y sobre el ganado, y sobre toda la tierra, y sobre todo ser viviente. cosa que se arrastra en la tierra.
27 And he created God - humankind in own image his in [the] image of God he created it male and female he created them.
E hizo Dios al hombre a su imagen, a imagen de Dios lo hizo; varón y hembra los hizo.
28 And he blessed them God and he said to them God be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and rule over [the] fish of the sea and over [the] bird[s] of the heavens and over every animal which creeps on the earth.
Y Dios los bendijo, y les dijo: Sean fértiles y tengan más, y hagan que la tierra esté llena y sean dueños de ella; sean los gobernantes sobre los peces del mar y sobre las aves del aire y sobre todos los seres vivos que se mueven en la tierra.
29 And he said God here! I give to you every plant - [which] bears seed seed which [is] on [the] surface of all the earth and every tree which in it [is the] fruit of a tree [which] bears seed seed to you will be[long] to food.
Y dijo Dios: Mira, yo te he dado toda planta que produce simiente sobre la faz de toda la tierra, y todo árbol que tiene fruto que da semilla; para tu alimento será;
30 And to every animal of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to every - creeping [thing] on the earth which [is] in it life living all greenery of plant[s] to food and it was so.
Y a toda bestia de la tierra, y a toda ave del cielo, y a todo ser viviente que se mueve sobre la faz de la tierra, he dado toda planta verde para alimento; y fue así.
31 And he saw God all that he had made and there! [it was] good very and there was evening and there was morning [the] day sixth.
Y vio Dios todo lo que había hecho, y fue muy bueno. Y hubo tarde y hubo mañana, el sexto día.
