Genesis 1
1 In beginning he created God the heavens and the earth.
| لە سەرەتادا خودا ئاسمان و زەویی بەدیهێنا. |
2 And the earth was formlessness and emptiness and darkness [was] over [the] surface of [the] deep and [the] spirit of God [was] hovering over [the] surface of the waters.
| زەویش بێ شێوە و بەتاڵ بوو، تاریکیش لەسەر ڕووی قووڵاییەکان بوو. ڕۆحی خوداش لەسەر ڕووی ئاوەکان دەجوڵایەوە. |
3 And he said God let it be light and there was light.
| خودا فەرمووی: «با ڕووناکی ببێت.» ئینجا ڕووناکی بوو. |
4 And he saw God the light that [it was] good and he separated God between the light and between the darkness.
| خوداش بینی کە ڕووناکییەکە باش بوو. ئیتر خودا ڕووناکییەکەی لە تاریکی جیا کردەوە. |
5 And he called God - the light day and the darkness he called night and there was evening and there was morning day one.
| خودا ڕووناکییەکەی ناو نا «ڕۆژ» و تاریکییەکەی ناو نا «شەو.» ئێوارە بوو، بووە بەیانی، ئەمە ڕۆژی یەکەم بوو. |
6 And he said God let it be a firmament in [the] middle of the waters and let it be separating between waters to waters.
| خودا فەرمووی: «با بۆشاییەک لەنێوان ئاوەکاندا ببێت، بۆ جیابوونەوەی ئاو لە ئاو.» |
7 And he made God the firmament and he separated between the waters which [were] from under to the firmament and between the waters which [were] from the firmament and it was so.
| جا ئاوا بوو. خودا بۆشاییەکەی دروستکرد و ئاوەکەی ژێر بۆشاییەکەی لە ئاوەکەی سەر بۆشاییە کراوەکە جیا کردەوە. |
8 And he called God the firmament heaven and there was evening and there was morning a day second.
| خودا بۆشاییەکەی ناونا «ئاسمان.» جا ئێوارە بوو، بووە بەیانی، ئەمە ڕۆژی دووەم بوو. |
9 And he said God let them gather the waters from under the heavens to a place one and let it appear the dry ground and it was so.
| خودا فەرمووی: «با ئاوەکانی ژێر ئاسمان لە یەک شوێن کۆببنەوە و وشکانی دەربکەوێت.» جا ئاوا بوو. |
10 And he called God - the dry ground earth and [the] collection of the waters he called seas and he saw God that [it was] good.
| خودا وشکانییەکەی ناونا «زەوی». ئاوە کۆبووەوەکەشی ناونا «دەریا». خوداش بینی کە ئەمە باش بوو. |
11 And he said God let it sprout the earth vegetation plant[s] [which] bears seed seed tree[s] of fruit producing fruit to kind its which seed its [is] in it on the earth and it was so.
| ئینجا خودا فەرمووی: «با زەوی سەوزایی بەرهەم بهێنێت: ڕووەکی تۆودار و داری بەردار لەسەر زەوی، ئەوەی تۆوەکەی لەناو خۆیەتی، لە جۆری خۆی.» جا ئاوا بوو. |
12 And brought forth the earth vegetation plant[s] [which] bears seed seed to kind its and tree[s] (producing *LAH(b)*) fruit which seed its [was] in it to kind its and he saw God that [it was] good.
| زەوی سەوزایی بەرهەم هێنا: ڕووەکی تۆودار لە جۆری خۆی و دار کە بەر دروستبکات و تۆوەکەی تێدابێت لە جۆری خۆی. خوداش بینی کە ئەمە باش بوو. |
13 And there was evening and there was morning a day third.
| جا ئێوارە بوو، بووە بەیانی، ئەمە ڕۆژی سێیەم بوو. |
14 And he said God let it be luminaries in [the] firmament of the heavens to separate between the day and between the night and they will become signs and appointed times and days and years.
| ئینجا خودا فەرمووی: «با لە بۆشایی ئاسماندا ڕووناکییەکان هەبن بۆ جیاکردنەوەی ڕۆژ لە شەو، هەروەها بۆ نیشانکردنی وەرز و ڕۆژ و ساڵ. |
15 And they will become luminaries in [the] firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth and it was so.
| با ڕووناکییەکان لە بۆشایی ئاسماندا ببن، تاکو سەر زەوی ڕووناک بکەنەوە.» جا ئاوا بوو. |
16 And he made God [the] two the luminaries great the luminary great for [the] dominion of the day and the luminary small for [the] dominion of the night and the stars.
| هەروەها خودا دوو ڕووناکییە مەزنەکەی دروستکرد، ڕووناکییە گەورەکەیان بۆ فەرمانڕەوایەتی ڕۆژ، ڕووناکییە بچووکەکەشیان بۆ فەرمانڕەوایەتی شەو، هەروەها ئەستێرەکانیش. |
17 And he set them God in [the] firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth.
| خودا لە بۆشایی ئاسماندا بۆ ڕووناککردنەوەی سەر زەوی داینان، |
18 And to rule over the day and over the night and to separate between the light and between the darkness and he saw God that [it was] good.
| بۆ فەرمانڕەوایەتی ڕۆژ و شەو و جیاکردنەوەی ڕووناکی لە تاریکی. خوداش بینی کە ئەمە باش بوو. |
19 And there was evening and there was morning a day fourth.
| جا ئێوارە بوو، بووە بەیانی، ئەمە ڕۆژی چوارەم بوو. |
20 And he said God let them swarm the waters swarming thing[s] creature[s] living and bird[s] let it fly above the earth on [the] surface of [the] firmament of the heavens.
| ئینجا خودا فەرمووی: «با ئاوەکان پڕ ببن لە ئاپۆرەی بوونەوەری زیندوو، با باڵندەش لە بۆشایی ئاسماندا بەسەر زەویدا بفڕێت.» |
21 And he created God the sea monsters great and every creature living - which creeps which they swarmed the waters to kind their and every bird of wing to kind its and he saw God that [it was] good.
| ئیتر خودا بوونەوەرە مەزنەکانی دەریای بەدیهێنا، لەگەڵ هەموو زیندەوەرە جوڵاوەکانی ناو ئاوەکان کە لێی پڕبوون، بەپێی جۆرەکانیان، لەگەڵ هەموو باڵندەیەکی باڵداریش بەپێی جۆرەکانیان. خوداش بینی کە ئەمە باش بوو. |
22 And he blessed them God saying be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas and the bird[s] let it multiply on the earth.
| خودا بەرەکەتداری کردن و فەرمووی: «بەردار بن و زۆر بن و ئاوی دەریاکان پڕ بکەن، با باڵندەکانیش لەسەر زەوی زۆر ببن.» |
23 And there was evening and there was morning a day fifth.
| جا ئێوارە بوو، بووە بەیانی، ئەمە ڕۆژی پێنجەم بوو. |
24 And he said God let it produce the earth creature[s] living to kind its livestock and creeping thing[s] and animal[s] of [the] earth to kind its and it was so.
| خودا فەرمووی: «با زەوی بوونەوەرە زیندووەکان لە جۆری خۆیان بەرهەم بهێنێت. ئاژەڵی ماڵی و خشۆکی زەوی و ئاژەڵی کێوی، هەریەکەیان لە جۆری خۆی.» جا ئاوا بوو. |
25 And he made God [the] animal[s] of the earth to kind its and the livestock to kind its and every creeping thing of the ground to kind its and he saw God that [it was] good.
| خودا ئاژەڵی کێوی بەپێی جۆری خۆیان دروستکرد، ئاژەڵی ماڵیش بەپێی جۆری خۆیان و هەموو خشۆکێکیش لەسەر زەوی بەپێی جۆری خۆیان. خوداش بینی کە ئەمە باش بوو. |
26 And he said God let us make humankind in image our according to likeness our and they may rule over [the] fish of the sea and over [the] bird[s] of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing which creeps on the earth.
| ئینجا خودا فەرمووی: «با مرۆڤ لەسەر وێنەی خۆمان دروستبکەین و لە خۆمان بچێت. با دەسەڵاتدار بن بەسەر ماسی دەریا و باڵندەی ئاسمان و ئاژەڵی ماڵی و بەسەر هەموو زەویدا، هەروەها بەسەر هەموو ئەو بوونەوەرە خشۆکانەی بەسەر زەویدا دەخشێن.» |
27 And he created God - humankind in own image his in [the] image of God he created it male and female he created them.
| خودا مرۆڤی لەسەر وێنەی خۆی بەدیهێنا، لەسەر وێنەی خودی خۆی بەدیهێنا، بە نێر و مێ بەدیهێنان. |
28 And he blessed them God and he said to them God be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and rule over [the] fish of the sea and over [the] bird[s] of the heavens and over every animal which creeps on the earth.
| خودا بەرەکەتداری کردن و پێی فەرموون: «بەردار بن و زۆر بن و زەوی پڕ بکەن و بیخەنە ژێر ڕکێفتانەوە. دەسەڵاتدار بن بەسەر ماسی دەریا و باڵندەی ئاسمان و بەسەر هەموو بوونەوەرێکی زیندوودا کە لەسەر زەوی دەجوڵێتەوە.» |
29 And he said God here! I give to you every plant - [which] bears seed seed which [is] on [the] surface of all the earth and every tree which in it [is the] fruit of a tree [which] bears seed seed to you will be[long] to food.
| ئینجا خودا فەرمووی: «هەموو ڕووەکی تۆودار کە لە سەرتاسەری ڕووی زەوییە داومە بە ئێوە، لەگەڵ هەموو دارێکیش کە بەری هەیە و تۆوی خۆی تێدایە. بۆ ئێوە دەبنە خۆراک. |
30 And to every animal of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to every - creeping [thing] on the earth which [is] in it life living all greenery of plant[s] to food and it was so.
| بۆ هەموو گیانلەبەرانی زەوی و هەموو باڵندەکانی ئاسمان و هەموو بوونەوەرێکی خشۆکی سەر زەوی، هەموو بوونەوەرێک کە هەناسەی ژیانی تێدایە، هەموو ڕووەکی سەوزم بۆ خۆراک پێداون.» جا ئاوا بوو. |
31 And he saw God all that he had made and there! [it was] good very and there was evening and there was morning [the] day sixth.
| خودا بینی هەموو ئەوەی کە دروستی کردبوو زۆر باش بوو. جا ئێوارە بوو، بووە بەیانی، ئەمە ڕۆژی شەشەم بوو. |
