Galatians 6

1 Brothers, if even shall be overcome a man in some trespass, you yourselves the spiritual [ones] do restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness considering yourself lest also you yourself may be tempted.

אם ייכשל אחד מכם בעבירה כלשהי, אלה מביניכם החזקים יותר באמונה צריכים לעזור לו לשוב לדרך הנכונה, בעדינות ובענווה, ואל תשכחו שבפעם הבאה אתם בעצמכם עלולים להיות בצד הנכשלים.

2 One another’s burdens do bear you and thus (you will fulfill *N(k)O*) the law of Christ.

השתתפו איש בבעיות רעהו, כפי שביקש מאיתנו המשיח.

3 If for thinks [himself] anyone to be something nothing being, he deceives himself;

מי שחושב שהדבר הוא למטה מכבודו אינו אלא גאוותן; מי שחושב את עצמו ל”מישהו“הוא לא כלום.

4 But the work his own should test each, and then as to himself alone the ground of boasting he will have and not as to another;

כל אחד יעשה את שלו על הצד הטוב ביותר, כי אז יהיה לו סיפוק מעבודתו הטובה, ולא יצטרך להשוות את עצמו לאחרים.

5 Each for [his] own load will bear.

כל אחד מאיתנו חייב לקחת אחריות על מעשיו.

6 should share now the [one] being taught in the word with the [one] teaching in all good things.

אלה שלומדים את כתבי־הקודש צריכים לעזור למוריהם ולתמוך בהם כפי יכולתם.

7 Not do be misled, God not is mocked; Whatever for (maybe *NK(o)*) shall sow a man, that also he will reap;

אל תחשבו שאתם יכולים להתל באלוהים, שהרי הוא יודע בדיוק מי אתם ומה אתם. כל אחד קוצר את מה שהוא זרע.

8 For the [one] sowing to the flesh of himself from the flesh will reap decay, The [one] however sowing to the Spirit from the Spirit will reap life eternal. (aiōnios g166)

מי שזרע זרעים של רוע ושחיתות יקצור בבוא הזמן מוות, הרס וכליון. אולם מי שזרע את הזרעים המשובחים של רוח הקודש יקצור בבוא הזמן חיי נצח – מתנת רוח הקודש. (aiōnios g166)

9 And [in] well doing not we may grow weary; in time for due we will reap a harvest not giving up.

הבה נמשיך לעשות את הטוב בלי להרפות, כי מובטח לנו שאם לא נתייאש נראה בבוא הזמן ברכה רבה בעבודתנו.

10 So then as occasion (we have *NK(o)*) we may work good toward all, especially now toward those of the household of the of faith.

לכן עלינו להתנהג יפה תמיד עם כל אדם, ובמיוחד עם אחינו המאמינים.

11 do see in how large to you letters I have written with my own hand.

לסיכום: האנשים שמנסים לשכנע אתכם לקיים ברית־מילה עושים זאת מסיבה אחת בלבד: הם יודעים היטב שאם יודו כי ישוע הוא המשיח, יהיה עליהם לסבול למענו. אבל אין הם רוצים לסבול ולאבד את הצלחתם החברתית.

12 As many as wish to have a fair appearance in [the] flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that for the cross of Christ (Jesus *O*) not they may be persecuted;

13 Not even for those (being circumcised *NK(o)*) themselves [the] Law keep, but they desire you to be circumcised, so that in your flesh they may boast.

אנשים אלה מקיימים את המילה, אך אינם שומרים בעצמם את חוקי התורה; הם רוצים שתקיימו את ברית־המילה רק כדי שיוכלו להתפאר בכוח־השפעתם ובעליונותם.

14 For me myself however never would it be to boast only except in the cross of the Lord of us Jesus Christ, through which to me myself [the] world has been crucified and I myself and I myself (*k*) to [the] world.

אני עצמי מתפאר אך ורק בצלב ישוע המשיח. הודות לצלב כבר אין לי עניין בשום דבר שקשור להנאות העולם הזה ולפיתוייו. וזה זמן רב כבר שלעולם הזה אין כל עניין בי.

15 (in Christ Jesus *K*) Neither for circumcision anything (is *N(K)O*) nor uncircumcision instead a new creation.

עתה, כשאנו מאמינים בישוע המשיח, כלל לא חשוב אם עשינו ברית־מילה או לא. מה שחשוב הוא אם באמת אפשר לראות שאופיינו השתנה לטובה אם לא.

16 And as many as those who rule by this will walk, peace [be] upon them and mercy and upon the Israel of God.

שלום ורחמים מאת אלוהים לכל השייכים לאלוהים והשומרים על העיקרון הזה.

17 The henceforth troubles to me no one should give; I myself for the marks of the (Lord *K*) Jesus on of the body of mine bear.

אני מבקש מכם שמעתה ואילך לא תטרידו אותי בוויכוחים נוספים בנושא זה, שכן גופי מלא צלקות וחבורות, שגרמו לי אויבי המשיח, המשמשים לי סימנים של עבד ישוע המשיח.

18 The grace of the Lord of us Jesus Christ [be] with the spirit of you, brothers. Amen. (to Galatians it was written from Rome. *K*)

אחים יקרים, יהי רצון שחסד ישוע המשיח יהיה עם כולכם. – אמן.
