Ezra 1
1 And in year one of Cyrus [the] king of Persia to fulfill [the] word of Yahweh from [the] mouth of Jeremiah he stirred Yahweh [the] spirit of Cyrus [the] king of Persia and he caused to pass a proclamation in all kingdom his and also in writing saying.
Nell'anno primo del regno di Ciro, re di Persia, perché si adempisse la parola che il Signore aveva detto per bocca di Geremia, il Signore destò lo spirito di Ciro re di Persia, il quale fece passare quest'ordine in tutto il suo regno, anche con lettera:
2 Thus he says Cyrus [the] king of Persia all [the] kingdoms of the earth he has given to me Yahweh [the] God of the heavens and he he has appointed me to build for him a house in Jerusalem which [is] in Judah.
«Così dice Ciro re di Persia: Il Signore, Dio del cielo, mi ha concesso tutti i regni della terra; egli mi ha incaricato di costruirgli un tempio in Gerusalemme, che è in Giudea.
3 Who? [is] among you from all people his may he be God his with him and let him go up to Jerusalem which [is] in Judah and let him build [the] house of Yahweh [the] God of Israel he [is] God who [is] in Jerusalem.
Chi di voi proviene dal popolo di lui? Il suo Dio sia con lui; torni a Gerusalemme, che è in Giudea, e ricostruisca il tempio del Signore Dio d'Israele: egli è il Dio che dimora a Gerusalemme.
4 And every [one who] remains from all the places where he [is] sojourning there let them support him [the] people of place his with silver and with gold and with property and with cattle with the freewill offering for [the] house of God which [is] in Jerusalem.
Ogni superstite in qualsiasi luogo sia immigrato, riceverà dalla gente di quel luogo argento e oro, beni e bestiame con offerte generose per il tempio di Dio che è in Gerusalemme».
5 And they arose [the] heads of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin and the priests and the Levites to every [one whom] he had stirred up God spirit his to go up to build [the] house of Yahweh which [is] in Jerusalem.
Allora si misero in cammino i capifamiglia di Giuda e di Beniamino e i sacerdoti e i leviti, quanti Dio aveva animato a tornare per ricostruire il tempio del Signore in Gerusalemme.
6 And all around them they encouraged hands their with vessels of silver with gold with property and with cattle and with precious things besides all of ering of freewill offerings.
Tutti i loro vicini li aiutarono validamente con oggetti d'argento e d'oro, con beni e bestiame e con oggetti preziosi, e inoltre quello che ciascuno offrì volontariamente.
7 And the king Cyrus he brought out [the] vessels of [the] house of Yahweh which he had brought out Nebuchadnezzar from Jerusalem and he had put them in [the] house of gods his.
Anche il re Ciro fece trarre fuori gli arredi del tempio, che Nabucodònosor aveva asportato da Gerusalemme e aveva deposto nel tempio del suo dio.
8 And he brought out them Cyrus [the] king of Persia on [the] hand of Mithredath the treasurer and he counted out them to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.
Ciro, re di Persia, li fece trarre fuori per mano di Mitridate il tesoriere, che li consegnò a Sesbassar, principe di Giuda.
9 And these [were] number their basins of gold thirty basins of silver one thousand knives nine and twenty.
Bacili d'oro: trenta; bacili d'argento: mille; coltelli: ventinove; Questo è il loro computo:
10 Bowls of gold thirty bowls of silver second order four hundred and ten vessels other one thousand.
coppe d'oro: trenta, coppe d'argento di second'ordine: quattrocentodieci; altri arredi: mille.
11 All vessels of gold and of silver five thousand and four hundred everything he brought up Sheshbazzar with were led up the exile[s] from Babylon to Jerusalem.
Tutti gli oggetti d'oro e d'argento eranocinquemilaquattrocento. Sesbassar li riportò da Babilonia a Gerusalemme, in occasione del ritorno degli esuli.
