Ezra 9
1 And just as finished these [things] they drew near to me the leaders saying not they have separated themselves the people Israel and the priests and the Levites from [the] peoples of the lands according to abominations their to the Canaanite[s] the Hittite[s] the Perizzite[s] the Jebusite[s] the Ammonite[s] the Moabite[s] the Egyptian[s] and the Amorite[s].
Und als dieses ausgerichtet war, traten die Obersten zu mir und sprachen: Das Volk Israel und die Priester und die Leviten haben sich nicht von den Völkern der Länder, nach deren Greueln, abgesondert, nämlich der Kanaaniter, der Hethiter, der Perisiter, der Jebusiter, der Ammoniter, der Moabiter, der Ägypter und der Amoriter;
2 For they have taken some of daughters their for themselves and for sons their and they have mixed themselves [the] offspring of holiness with [the] peoples of the lands and [the] hand of the leaders and the officials it has been in the unfaithfulness this first.
denn sie haben von ihren Töchtern für sich und für ihre Söhne genommen, und so hat sich der heilige Same mit den Völkern der Länder vermischt; und die Hand der Obersten und der Vorsteher ist in dieser Treulosigkeit die erste gewesen.
3 And just as heard I the matter this I tore garment my and robe my and I pulled out! some of [the] hair of head my and beard my and I sat down! appalled.
Und als ich diese Sache hörte, zerriß ich mein Kleid und mein Obergewand, und raufte mir Haare meines Hauptes und meines Bartes aus, und saß betäubt [Eig. hinstarrend] da.
4 And to me they gathered every [person] trembling at [the] words of [the] God of Israel on [the] unfaithfulness of the exile[s] and I [was] sitting appalled until [the] offering of the evening.
Und zu mir versammelten sich alle, die da zitterten vor den Worten des Gottes Israels wegen der Treulosigkeit der Weggeführten; und ich saß betäubt [Eig. hinstarrend] da bis zum Abendopfer. [Eig. Abend-Speisopfer]
5 And at [the] offering of the evening I arose from humiliation my and in tearing of my garment my and robe my and I bowed down! on knees my and I spread out! palms my to Yahweh God my.
Und beim Abendopfer stand ich auf von meiner Demütigung, indem ich mein Kleid und mein Obergewand zerrissen hatte, und ich beugte mich auf meine Knie nieder und breitete meine Hände aus zu Jehova, meinem Gott,
6 And I said! O God my I am ashamed and I am humiliated to lift up O God my face my to you for iniquities our they have increased upwards a head and guilt our it is great to the heavens.
und ich sprach: Mein Gott, ich schäme mich und scheue mich, mein Angesicht zu dir, mein Gott, zu erheben! denn unsere Missetaten sind uns über das Haupt gewachsen, und unsere Schuld ist groß geworden bis an den Himmel.
7 From [the] days of ancestors our we [have been] in guilt great until the day this and in iniquities our we have been given we kings our priests our in [the] hand of - [the] kings of the lands by sword by captivity and by plunder and by shame of face as the day this.
Von den Tagen unserer Väter an sind wir in großer Schuld gewesen bis auf diesen Tag; und um unserer Missetaten willen sind wir, wir, unsere Könige, unsere Priester, der Hand der Könige der Länder übergeben worden, dem Schwerte, der Gefangenschaft und dem Raube und der Beschämung des Angesichts, wie es an diesem Tage ist.
8 And now like a little of a moment it has come favor from with - Yahweh God our to leave to us an escaped remnant and to give to us a tent peg in [the] place of holiness his to light up eyes our God our and to give to us reviving a little in servitude our.
Und nun ist uns für einen kleinen Augenblick Gnade von seiten Jehovas, unseres Gottes, zuteil geworden, indem er uns Entronnene übriggelassen und uns einen Pflock gegeben hat an seiner heiligen Stätte, damit unser Gott unsere Augen erleuchte und uns ein wenig aufleben lasse in unserer Knechtschaft.
9 For [are] slaves we and in servitude our not he has abandoned us God our and he has extended towards us covenant loyalty before [the] kings of Persia by giving to us reviving to raise up [the] house of God our and to set up ruins its and by giving to us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
Denn Knechte sind wir; aber in unserer Knechtschaft hat unser Gott uns nicht verlassen; und er hat uns Güte zugewandt vor den Königen von Persien, so daß sie uns ein Aufleben verliehen, um das Haus unseres Gottes aufzubauen und seine Trümmer aufzurichten, und uns eine Mauer [d. i. einen ummauerten Ort: einen sicheren Wohnsitz] zu geben in Juda und in Jerusalem.
10 And therefore what? will we say O God our after this for we have forsaken commandments your.
Und nun, unser Gott, was sollen wir nach diesem sagen? Denn wir haben deine Gebote verlassen,
11 Which you commanded by [the] hand of servants your the prophets saying the land which you [are] going to take possession of it [is] a land of impurity it by [the] impurity of [the] peoples of the lands by abominations their which they have filled it from mouth to mouth with uncleanness their.
die du uns durch deine Knechte, die Propheten, geboten hast, indem du sprachst: Das Land, wohin ihr kommet, um es in Besitz zu nehmen, ist ein unreines Land, wegen der Unreinigkeit der Völker der Länder, wegen ihrer Greuel, mit denen sie es angefüllt haben von einem Ende bis zum anderen durch ihre Verunreinigung.
12 And therefore daughters your may not you give to sons their and daughters their may not you take for sons your and not you must seek peace their and good their until perpetuity so that you may be strong and you will eat [the] good thing[s] of the land and you will cause to inherit [it] sons your until perpetuity.
So sollt ihr nun nicht eure Töchter ihren Söhnen geben, und ihre Töchter nicht für eure Söhne nehmen; und ihr sollt ihren Frieden und ihr Wohl nicht suchen ewiglich [Vergl. 5. Mose 23,6]: damit ihr stark seiet und das Gut des Landes esset und es auf eure Söhne vererbet ewiglich.
13 And after every [thing which] has come on us by deeds our evil and by guilt our great for - you O God our you have withheld downwards from iniquity our and you have given to us an escaped remnant like this.
Und nach allem, was wegen unserer bösen Taten und wegen unserer großen Schuld über uns gekommen ist, -wiewohl du, unser Gott, mehr geschont hast, als unsere Missetaten es verdienten, und du uns Entronnene gegeben hast, wie diese hier-
14 ¿ Will we return to break commandments your and to intermarry with [the] peoples of the abominations these ¿ not will you be angry with us until make an end to there not [will be] a remnant and an escaped remnant.
sollten wir wiederum deine Gebote brechen und uns mit diesen Greuelvölkern verschwägern? Wirst du nicht wider uns erzürnen bis zur Vertilgung, daß kein Überrest und keine Entronnenen mehr bleiben?
15 O Yahweh [the] God of Israel [are] righteous you for we are left an escaped remnant as the day this here we [are] before you in guilt our for not to stand before you on this.
Jehova, Gott Israels, du bist gerecht; denn wir sind als Entronnene übriggeblieben, wie es an diesem Tage ist. Siehe, wir sind vor dir in unserer Schuld; denn dieserhalb kann man nicht vor dir bestehen.
