Ezra 1
1 And in year one of Cyrus [the] king of Persia to fulfill [the] word of Yahweh from [the] mouth of Jeremiah he stirred Yahweh [the] spirit of Cyrus [the] king of Persia and he caused to pass a proclamation in all kingdom his and also in writing saying.
In anno primo Cyri regis Persarum ut compleretur verbum Domini ex ore Ieremiae, suscitavit Dominus spiritum Cyri regis Persarum: et traduxit vocem in omni regno suo, etiam per scripturam, dicens:
2 Thus he says Cyrus [the] king of Persia all [the] kingdoms of the earth he has given to me Yahweh [the] God of the heavens and he he has appointed me to build for him a house in Jerusalem which [is] in Judah.
Haec dicit Cyrus rex Persarum: Omnia regna terrae dedit mihi Dominus Deus caeli, et ipse praecepit mihi ut aedificarem ei domum in Ierusalem, quae est in Iudaea.
3 Who? [is] among you from all people his may he be God his with him and let him go up to Jerusalem which [is] in Judah and let him build [the] house of Yahweh [the] God of Israel he [is] God who [is] in Jerusalem.
Quis est in vobis de universo populo eius? Sit Deus illius cum ipso. Ascendat in Ierusalem, quae est in Iudaea, et aedificet domum Domini Dei Israel, ipse est Deus qui est in Ierusalem.
4 And every [one who] remains from all the places where he [is] sojourning there let them support him [the] people of place his with silver and with gold and with property and with cattle with the freewill offering for [the] house of God which [is] in Jerusalem.
Et omnes reliqui in cunctis locis ubicumque habitant, adiuvent eum viri de loco suo argento et auro, et substantia, et pecoribus, excepto quod voluntarie offerunt templo Dei, quod est in Ierusalem.
5 And they arose [the] heads of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin and the priests and the Levites to every [one whom] he had stirred up God spirit his to go up to build [the] house of Yahweh which [is] in Jerusalem.
Et surrexerunt principes patrum de Iuda, et Beniamin, et Sacerdotes, et Levitae, et omnis, cuius Deus suscitavit spiritum, ut ascenderent ad aedificandum templum Domini, quod erat in Ierusalem.
6 And all around them they encouraged hands their with vessels of silver with gold with property and with cattle and with precious things besides all of ering of freewill offerings.
Universique qui erant in circuitu, adiuverunt manus eorum in vasis argenteis et aureis, in substantia et iumentis, in supellectili, exceptis his, quae sponte obtulerant.
7 And the king Cyrus he brought out [the] vessels of [the] house of Yahweh which he had brought out Nebuchadnezzar from Jerusalem and he had put them in [the] house of gods his.
Rex quoque Cyrus protulit vasa templi Domini, quae tulerat Nabuchodonosor de Ierusalem, et posuerat ea in templo Dei sui.
8 And he brought out them Cyrus [the] king of Persia on [the] hand of Mithredath the treasurer and he counted out them to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.
Protulit autem ea Cyrus rex Persarum per manum Mithridatis filii Gazabar, et annumeravit ea Sassabasar principi Iuda.
9 And these [were] number their basins of gold thirty basins of silver one thousand knives nine and twenty.
Et hic est numerus eorum: Phialae aureae triginta, phialae argenteae mille, cultri vigintinovem, scyphi aurei triginta,
10 Bowls of gold thirty bowls of silver second order four hundred and ten vessels other one thousand.
scyphi argentei secundi quadringenti decem: vasa alia mille.
11 All vessels of gold and of silver five thousand and four hundred everything he brought up Sheshbazzar with were led up the exile[s] from Babylon to Jerusalem.
Omnia vasa aurea et argentea quinque millia quadringenta: universa tulit Sassabasar cum his, qui ascendebant de transmigratione Babylonis in Ierusalem.
