Ezekiel 5

1 And you O son of humankind take yourself - a sword sharp razor of barbers you will take it yourself and you will make [it] pass over head your and over beard your and you will take yourself scales of weight and you will divide them.

Y tú hijo de hombre, toma un cuchillo cortante; tomarás una navaja de barbero, y la pasarás sobre tu cabeza y tu barba. Y luego toma una balanza de pesar, y reparte (los pelos).

2 A third [part] in the fire you will burn in [the] midst of the city when are completed [the] days of the siege and you will take third [part] you will strike [it] with the sword around it and third [part] you will disperse to the wind and a sword I will draw after them.

Una tercera parte quemarás en el fuego en medio de la ciudad, cuando se hayan cumplido los días del sitio. Otra tercera parte tomarás y los golpearás con la espada alrededor de la (ciudad), y otra tercera parte esparcirás al viento; y Yo desenvainaré la espada en pos de ellos.

3 And you will take from there a few in number and you will confine them in skirts your.

Unos pocos tomarás de allí y los atarás en las faldas de tu (manto).

4 And some of them again you will take and you will throw them into [the] middle of the fire and you will burn them in the fire from it it will go out a fire to all [the] house of Israel.

Y tomarás otra vez de ellos, y los echarás en medio del fuego, y los quemarás en el fuego; y de allí saldrá fuego contra toda la casa de Israel.

5 Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh this [is] Jerusalem in [the] middle of the nations I have set it and [are] around it lands.

Así dice el Señor Yahvé: Esta es Jerusalén. La puse Yo en medio de las gentes y en medio de los países.

6 And it has rebelled against judgments my to wickedness more than the nations and statutes my more than the lands which [are] around it for judgments my they have rejected and statutes my not they have walked in them.

Pero ella se rebeló contra mis leyes, haciendo más maldad que los gentiles, y violando mis mandamientos más que los países que la rodean; pues ha rechazado mis leyes, y no ha observado mis mandamientos.

7 Therefore thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh because tumult your [is] more than the nations which [are] around you in statutes my not you have walked and judgments my not you have observed and according to [the] judgments of the nations which [are] around you not you have done.

Por eso, así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Por cuanto habéis sido más rebeldes que los gentiles que os rodean y no habéis observado mis mandamientos ni cumplido mis leyes, y ni siquiera habéis obrado conforme a las costumbres de los gentiles que viven entorno vuestro,

8 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] on you also I and I will bring about in [the] midst of you judgments to [the] eyes of the nations.

por eso, así dice Yahvé, el Señor: ¡Heme aquí contra ti! y ejecutaré en medio de ti juicios, ante los ojos de los gentiles.

9 And I will bring about in you [that] which not I have brought about and [that] which not I will do like it again because of all abominations your.

Y haré en medio de ti, a causa de todas tus abominaciones, lo que nunca he hecho ni haré jamás de modo semejante.

10 Therefore parents they will eat children in [the] midst of you and children they will eat parents their and I will bring about on you judgments and I will disperse all [the] rest of you to every wind.

Por eso los padres comerán a los hijos en medio de ti, y los hijos comerán a sus padres. Ejecutaré contra ti juicios, y todo cuanto de ti quedare lo esparciré a todos los vientos.

11 Therefore [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if not because sanctuary my you have made unclean by all detestable things your and by all abominations your and also I I will shave [you] and not it will look with compassion eye my and also I not I will show pity.

Por lo cual ¡vivo yo! dice Yahvé, el Señor, por cuanto has contaminado mi santuario con todas tus ignominias y todas tus abominaciones, también Yo te castigaré; mi ojo no perdonará, y no tendré más piedad (de ti).

12 third [part] of You by pestilence they will die and by famine they will come to an end in [the] midst of you and third [part] by the sword they will fall around you and third [part] to every wind I will disperse and a sword I will draw after them.

Una tercera parte de ti morirá de peste y será consumida de hambre en medio de ti; otra tercera parte caerá en torno tuyo al filo de la espada; y la otra tercera parte la esparciré a todos los vientos, y desenvainaré la espada en pos de ellos.

13 And it will be spent anger my and I will give rest to rage my on them and I will gain relief and they will know that I Yahweh I have spoken in jealousy my when complete I rage my on them.

Así se desfogará mi ira y saciaré mi indignación en ellos y quedaré satisfecho; y ellos conocerán que Yo Yahvé he hablado en mi celo, cuando desahogue en ellos mi ira.

14 And I will make you into a ruin and into a reproach among the nations which [are] around you to [the] eyes of every [one who] passes by.

Y te convertiré en desierto y en oprobio de las naciones circunvecinas, a los ojos de todos los que pasan.

15 And it will be a reproach and a taunt a warning and a horror to the nations which [are] around you when bring about I on you judgments in anger and in rage and with rebukes of rage I Yahweh I have spoken.

Serás un objeto de ignominia y de escarnio, para escarmiento y espanto de las naciones que te rodean, cuando Yo ejecute en ti juicios con ira e indignación y con los castigos de mi cólera,

16 When shoot I [the] arrows of famine harmful on them which they will be for destruction which I will shoot them to destroy you and famine I will increase on you and I will break of you staff of bread.

—pues Yo, Yahvé, he hablado— y cuando Yo arroje sobre ellos las terribles saetas del hambre, que serán para destrucción y que Yo lanzaré para destruiros, aumentando entre vosotros el hambre y quebrando vuestro báculo de pan;

17 And I will send on you famine and animal[s] wild and they will make childless you and pestilence and blood it will pass in you and sword I will bring on you I Yahweh I have spoken.

y Yo enviaré sobre vosotros el hambre y las bestias feroces, las cuales te dejarán sin hijos; y cuando la peste y la sangre pasen por medio de ti y Yo descargue sobre ti la espada. Yo, Yahvé, he hablado.”
