Ezekiel 39

1 And you O son of humankind prophesy on Gog and you will say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] against you O Gog [the] prince of [the] head of Meshech and Tubal.

Mais toi, fils d’un homme, prophétise contre Gog, et tu diras: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: Voilà que je viens vers toi, Gog, prince et chef de Mosoch et de Thubal.

2 And I will turn around you and I will lead on you and I will bring up you from [the] remotest parts of [the] north and I will bring you on [the] mountains of Israel.

Et je te ferai tourner de tous les côtés, et je te retirerai; et je te ferai monter des côtés de l’aquilon, et je te conduirai sur les montagnes d’Israël.

3 And I will strike bow your from [the] hand of left your and arrows your from [the] hand of right your I will make fall.

Et je briserai ton arc dans ta main gauche, et je ferai tomber tes flèches de la main droite.

4 On [the] mountains of Israel you will fall you and all troops your and peoples which [are] with you to bird[s] of prey of bird[s] every wing and [the] animal[s] of the field I will give you for food.

Sur les montagnes d’Israël tu tomberas, toi, et tous tes bataillons, et tes peuples qui sont avec toi; aux animaux sauvages, aux oiseaux, à tout volatile, et aux bêtes de la terre, je t’ai livré pour être dévoré.

5 On [the] surface of the field you will fall for I I have spoken [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Sur la face des champs, tu tomberas, parce que c’est moi qui ai parlé, dit le Seigneur Dieu.

6 And I will send fire on Magog and on [the] inhabitants of the islands to security and they will know that I [am] Yahweh.

Et j’enverrai le feu sur Magog et sur ceux qui habitent dans les îles avec confiance; et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur.

7 And [the] name of holiness my I will make known in among people my Israel and not I will let be profaned [the] name of holiness my again and they will know the nations that I Yahweh [am] holy in Israel.

Et je ferai connaître mon nom saint au milieu de mon peuple Israël, et je ne souillerai plus mon nom saint; et les nations sauront que je suis le Seigneur, le saint d’Israël.

8 There! [it is] coming and it will occur [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh it [is] the day which I have spoken.

Voici qu’est venu et qu’est arrivé ce que j’ai annoncé, dit le Seigneur Dieu; voici le jour dont j’ai parlé.

9 And they will go out [the] inhabitants of - [the] cities of Israel and they will kindle and they will kindle a fire with weapon and shield and body shield with bow and with arrows and with staff of hand and with spear and they will kindle with them fire seven years.

Et les habitants sortiront des cités d’Israël; et ils brûleront et réduiront en cendres les armes, le bouclier et les lances, l’arc et les flèches, et les bâtons de leurs mains, et les épieux; et ils les consumeront par le feu pendant sept ans.

10 And not they will carry wood from the field and not they will cut [it] from the forests for with the weapon they will kindle fire and they will plunder [those who] plundered them and they will take as spoil [those who] took as spoil them [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Et ils n’apporteront point de bois du milieu des champs, et ils n’en couperont point dans les forêts, parce qu’ils consumeront les armes par le feu, parce qu’ils feront leur proie de ceux dont ils avaient été la proie, et ils pilleront leurs dévastateurs, dit le Seigneur Dieu.

11 And it will be on the day that I will give to Gog - a place there a burial site in Israel [the] Valley of the Travellers [the] east of the sea and [will] block [the] way of it those [who] pass through and people will bury there Gog and all (multitude his *Q(K)*) and they will call [it] [the] valley of Hamon-Gog.

Et il arrivera en ce jour-là que je donnerai à Gog un lieu célèbre pour sépulture dans Israël, la vallée des voyageurs, à l’orient de la mer; laquelle vallée frappera d’étonnement ceux qui passeront; et ils enseveliront là Gog et toute sa multitude; et elle s’appellera la vallée de la multitude de Gog.

12 And they will bury them [the] house of Israel so as to cleanse the land seven months.

Et la maison d’Israël les ensevelira, afin de purifier la terre pendant sept mois.

13 And they will bury [them] all [the] people of the land and it will become for them a name [the] day of my glorifying myself [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Or, tout le peuple du pays les ensevelira; et il sera célèbre pour eux, ce jour dans lequel j’ai signalé ma gloire, dit le Seigneur Dieu.

14 And people of continuity they will set apart [who] pass in the land [who] bury those [who] pass through those [who] remain on [the] surface of the land to cleanse it from [the] end of seven months they will make a search.

Et ils établiront sans interruption des hommes qui visiteront le pays pour ensevelir et rechercher ceux qui sont demeurés sur la face de la terre, afin de la purifier; or, après sept mois, ils commenceront à chercher.

15 And they will pass those [who] pass in the land and they will see a bone of a human and he will build beside it a marker until they have buried it those [who] bury to [the] valley of Hamon-Gog.

Et ils parcourront le pays, et lorsqu’ils auront vu l’ossement d’un homme, ils y mettront à côté un indice, jusqu’à ce que les ensevelisseurs les ensevelissent dans la vallée de la multitude de Gog.

16 And also [the] name of a city [is] Hamonah and they will cleanse the land.

Or, le nom de la cité sera Amona; et ils purifieront le pays.

17 And you O son of humankind thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh say to bird[s] of every wing and to every - animal of the field assemble and come gather yourselves from round about to sacrifice my which I [am] sacrificing for you a sacrifice great on [the] mountains of Israel and you will eat flesh and you will drink blood.

Et toi, fils d’un homme, voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: Dis à tout ce qui vole et à tous les oiseaux, et à toutes les bêtes de la terre: Venez tous ensemble, hâtez-vous, accourez de toutes parts à la victime que moi je vous immole, grande victime qui a été égorgée sur les montagnes d’Israël, afin que vous mangiez la chair et que vous buviez le sang.

18 [the] flesh of Warriors you will eat and [the] blood of [the] princes of the land you will drink rams lambs and goats bulls fatlings of Bashan all of them.

Vous mangerez les chairs des forts, et vous boirez le sang des princes de la terre, des béliers, et des agneaux, et des boucs, et des taureaux, et de la volaille engraissée, et de tout ce qu’il y a de gras.

19 And you will eat fat to satiety and you will drink blood to drunkenness from sacrifice my which I have sacrificed for you.

Et vous mangerez de la graisse jusqu’à satiété, et vous boirez jusqu’à l’ivresse du sang de la victime que je vous immolerai.

20 And you will be satisfied at table my horse and charioteer warrior and every man of war [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Et vous vous rassasierez sur ma table de la chair des chevaux, et des vaillants cavaliers, et de tous les hommes de guerre, dit le Seigneur Dieu.

21 And I will set glory my among the nations and they will see all the nations judgment my which I have done and hand my which I have put on them.

Et j’établirai ma gloire parmi les nations; et toutes les nations verront mon jugement que j’aurai exercé, et ma main que j’aurai appesantie sur eux.

22 And they will know [the] house of Israel that I [am] Yahweh God their from the day that and onwards.

Et les enfants d’Israël sauront, depuis ce jour-là et dans la suite, que je suis le Seigneur leur Dieu.

23 And they will know the nations that for iniquity their they went into exile [the] house of Israel on that they had acted unfaithfully against me and I hid face my from them and I gave them in [the] hand of opponents their and they fell by the sword all of them.

Et les nations sauront que c’est à cause de son iniquité qu’a été captive la maison d’Israël, parce qu’ils m’ont abandonné, et que je leur ai caché ma face, et que je les ai livrés aux mains de leurs ennemis, et qu’ils sont tombés tous sous le glaive.

24 According to uncleanness their and according to transgressions their I have dealt them and I hid face my from them.

Je les ai traités selon leur impureté et selon leur crime, et je leur ai caché ma face.

25 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh now I will turn back ([the] captivity of *Q(k)*) Jacob and I will have compassion on all [the] house of Israel and I will be zealous for [the] name of holiness my.

À cause de cela, voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: maintenant je ramènerai les captifs de Jacob, et j’aurai pitié de toute la maison d’Israël, et je m’armerai de zèle pour mon nom saint.

26 And they will bear disgrace their and all unfaithfulness their which they acted unfaithfully against me when dwell they on own land their to security and there not [will be one who] disturbs [them].

Et ils porteront leur confusion et toute la prévarication par laquelle ils ont prévariqué contre moi, lorsqu’ils habiteront dans leur terre avec confiance, ne redoutant personne;

27 When bring back I them from the peoples and I will gather them from [the] lands of enemies their and I will show myself holy by them to [the] eyes of the nations many.

Et que je les aurai ramenés d’entre les peuples, et que je les aurai rassemblés des terres de leurs ennemis, et que j’aurai été sanctifié parmi eux aux yeux des nations les plus nombreuses.

28 And they will know that I [am] Yahweh God their because sent into exile I them to the nations and I will gather them to own land their and not I will leave behind again any of them there.

Et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur leur Dieu, parce que je les ai transportés parmi les nations, et que je les ai rassemblés dans leur pays, et que je n’ai laissé là aucun d’eux.

29 And not I will hide again face my from them [I] who I have poured out spirit my on [the] house of Israel [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Et je ne leur cacherai plus ma face, parce que j’ai répandu mon esprit sur toute la maison d’Israël, dit le Seigneur Dieu.
