Ezekiel 39

1 And you O son of humankind prophesy on Gog and you will say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] against you O Gog [the] prince of [the] head of Meshech and Tubal.

Toi donc, fils de l'homme, prophétise contre Gog et dis: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: J'en veux à toi, Gog, prince de Rosch, Mésech et Thubal!

2 And I will turn around you and I will lead on you and I will bring up you from [the] remotest parts of [the] north and I will bring you on [the] mountains of Israel.

Je te détournerai et t'entraînerai, et te tirerai du fond du nord, et t'amènerai sur les montagnes d'Israël.

3 And I will strike bow your from [the] hand of left your and arrows your from [the] hand of right your I will make fall.

Et j'arracherai ton arc de ta main gauche, et ferai tomber tes flèches de ta main droite;

4 On [the] mountains of Israel you will fall you and all troops your and peoples which [are] with you to bird[s] of prey of bird[s] every wing and [the] animal[s] of the field I will give you for food.

sur les montagnes d'Israël tu succomberas, toi et tous tes bataillons, et les peuples qui sont avec toi; des vautours, de tous les oiseaux et des bêtes des champs je te ferai la pâture;

5 On [the] surface of the field you will fall for I I have spoken [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

sur la face de la terre tu tomberas, car j'ai parlé, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.

6 And I will send fire on Magog and on [the] inhabitants of the islands to security and they will know that I [am] Yahweh.

Et je darderai un feu en Magog et sur ceux qui habitent les îles en sécurité, afin qu'ils sachent que je suis l'Éternel.

7 And [the] name of holiness my I will make known in among people my Israel and not I will let be profaned [the] name of holiness my again and they will know the nations that I Yahweh [am] holy in Israel.

Et je manifesterai mon saint nom au milieu de mon peuple d'Israël, et n'exposerai plus mon saint nom au déshonneur; mais les nations reconnaîtront que je suis l'Éternel, le Saint d'Israël.

8 There! [it is] coming and it will occur [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh it [is] the day which I have spoken.

Voici, il vient, il arrive, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, ce jour que j'ai dit.

9 And they will go out [the] inhabitants of - [the] cities of Israel and they will kindle and they will kindle a fire with weapon and shield and body shield with bow and with arrows and with staff of hand and with spear and they will kindle with them fire seven years.

Alors les habitants des villes d'Israël sortiront et allumeront et brûleront les armes et les boucliers et les pavois, les arcs et les flèches, les épieux et les lances, et s'en feront du feu pendant sept années.

10 And not they will carry wood from the field and not they will cut [it] from the forests for with the weapon they will kindle fire and they will plunder [those who] plundered them and they will take as spoil [those who] took as spoil them [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Ils n'iront point chercher du bois dans la campagne, ni en couper dans les forêts, car c'est avec les armes qu'ils nourriront leur feu: et ils dépouilleront ceux qui les auront dépouillés, et pilleront ceux qui les auront pillés, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.

11 And it will be on the day that I will give to Gog - a place there a burial site in Israel [the] Valley of the Travellers [the] east of the sea and [will] block [the] way of it those [who] pass through and people will bury there Gog and all (multitude his *Q(K)*) and they will call [it] [the] valley of Hamon-Gog.

Et dans ce même jour je donnerai là à Gog un lieu pour son tombeau en Israël, la vallée des voyageurs, à l'orient de la mer; et cela fermera le passage aux voyageurs; c'est là qu'on enterrera Gog et toute sa multitude, et on la nommera Vallée de la multitude de Gog.

12 And they will bury them [the] house of Israel so as to cleanse the land seven months.

Et la maison d'Israël les enterrera, afin de purifier le pays, durant sept mois;

13 And they will bury [them] all [the] people of the land and it will become for them a name [the] day of my glorifying myself [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

et tout le peuple du pays enterrera; et cela lui donnera un nom au jour où je me glorifierai, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.

14 And people of continuity they will set apart [who] pass in the land [who] bury those [who] pass through those [who] remain on [the] surface of the land to cleanse it from [the] end of seven months they will make a search.

Et ils choisiront des hommes en permanence dont les uns parcourront le pays, et les autres à leur suite enterreront les corps restés sur la face du pays, afin de le purifier; pendant sept mois entiers ils feront cette recherche.

15 And they will pass those [who] pass in the land and they will see a bone of a human and he will build beside it a marker until they have buried it those [who] bury to [the] valley of Hamon-Gog.

Et les premiers parcourront le pays; et si l'un d'eux aperçoit les ossements d'un homme, il élèvera à côté un cippe, en attendant que les fossoyeurs l'enterrent dans la vallée de la multitude de Gog.

16 And also [the] name of a city [is] Hamonah and they will cleanse the land.

Hamona sera aussi le nom d'une ville. Et c'est ainsi qu'ils purifieront le pays.

17 And you O son of humankind thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh say to bird[s] of every wing and to every - animal of the field assemble and come gather yourselves from round about to sacrifice my which I [am] sacrificing for you a sacrifice great on [the] mountains of Israel and you will eat flesh and you will drink blood.

Or, fils de l'homme, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Dis aux oiseaux, à tous les volatiles et à toutes les bêtes des champs: Rassemblez-vous et venez, réunissez-vous de toutes parts pour le sacrifice où je vais égorger des victimes pour vous, grand sacrifice sur les montagnes d'Israël, et repaissez-vous de chair et abreuvez-vous de sang!

18 [the] flesh of Warriors you will eat and [the] blood of [the] princes of the land you will drink rams lambs and goats bulls fatlings of Bashan all of them.

C'est de la chair des héros que vous y serez nourris, et du sang des princes de la terre que vous boirez; ce sont tout autant de béliers, d'agneaux et de boucs, de taureaux engraissés en Basan.

19 And you will eat fat to satiety and you will drink blood to drunkenness from sacrifice my which I have sacrificed for you.

Et vous mangerez de la graisse, à vous rassasier, et vous boirez du sang, à vous enivrer, au sacrifice où pour vous j'égorgerai des victimes;

20 And you will be satisfied at table my horse and charioteer warrior and every man of war [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

et à ma table vous vous rassasierez de chevaux et de cavaliers, de héros et de toutes sortes d'hommes de guerre, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.

21 And I will set glory my among the nations and they will see all the nations judgment my which I have done and hand my which I have put on them.

Et je manifesterai ma gloire parmi les nations, et toutes les nations seront témoins du jugement que j'exercerai, et des coups dont les frappera ma main;

22 And they will know [the] house of Israel that I [am] Yahweh God their from the day that and onwards.

et toute la maison d'Israël comprendra que moi, l'Éternel, je suis son Dieu, dès ce jour-là et à l'avenir;

23 And they will know the nations that for iniquity their they went into exile [the] house of Israel on that they had acted unfaithfully against me and I hid face my from them and I gave them in [the] hand of opponents their and they fell by the sword all of them.

et les nations comprendront que c'est par suite de son crime que la maison d'Israël a été déportée, parce qu'ils furent coupables envers moi, et que je leur cachai ma face, et que je les livrai à la main de leurs ennemis, afin que par l'épée ils périssent tous.

24 According to uncleanness their and according to transgressions their I have dealt them and I hid face my from them.

Je les ai traités selon leur souillure et leur désobéissance, et je leur ai caché ma face.

25 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh now I will turn back ([the] captivity of *Q(k)*) Jacob and I will have compassion on all [the] house of Israel and I will be zealous for [the] name of holiness my.

Aussi, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Maintenant je veux ramener les captifs de Jacob, et prendre pitié de toute la maison d'Israël, et être jaloux de mon saint nom.

26 And they will bear disgrace their and all unfaithfulness their which they acted unfaithfully against me when dwell they on own land their to security and there not [will be one who] disturbs [them].

Alors ils comprendront quel fut leur opprobre et tout le crime qu'ils ont commis contre moi, lorsqu'ils habiteront leur pays en sécurité, sans terreur aucune,

27 When bring back I them from the peoples and I will gather them from [the] lands of enemies their and I will show myself holy by them to [the] eyes of the nations many.

lorsque je les ramènerai du milieu des peuples, et les recueillerai des pays de leurs ennemis, et que je manifesterai ma sainteté sur eux au milieu de peuples nombreux.

28 And they will know that I [am] Yahweh God their because sent into exile I them to the nations and I will gather them to own land their and not I will leave behind again any of them there.

Alors ils reconnaîtront que moi, l'Éternel, je suis leur Dieu, quand, après les avoir envoyés captifs aux nations, je les réunirai dans leur pays, sans laisser aucun d'eux là au milieu d'elles;

29 And not I will hide again face my from them [I] who I have poured out spirit my on [the] house of Israel [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

et je ne leur cacherai plus ma face, parce que j'aurai répandu mon Esprit sur la maison d'Israël, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
