Ezekiel 26

1 And it was in one [plus] ten year on [day] one of the month it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.

I det ellevte år, på den første dag i måneden, kom Herrens ord til mig, og det lød så:

2 O son of humankind because that it said Tyre on Jerusalem aha! it is broken [the] doors of the peoples it has been turned over to me I will be filled it has been laid waste.

Menneskesønn! Fordi Tyrus sier om Jerusalem: Ha, ha! Sønderbrutt er den, denne folkenes port; den er flyttet til mig, jeg blir fylt - den er ødelagt,

3 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] on you O Tyre and I will bring up on you nations many as brings up the sea waves its.

derfor sier Herren, Israels Gud, så: Se, jeg kommer over dig, Tyrus, og fører mange folk frem mot dig, likesom havet fører sine bølger frem.

4 And they will destroy [the] walls of Tyre and they will tear down towers its and I will scrape away dust its from it and I will make it into bareness of rock.

Og de skal ødelegge Tyrus' murer og rive ned dets tårner, og jeg vil feie bort dets grus av det og gjøre det til nakent berg;

5 A spreading place of nets it will be in [the] middle of the sea for I I have spoken [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and it will become spoil for the nations.

det skal bli til en tørkeplass for fiskegarn ute i havet. For jeg har talt, sier Herren, Israels Gud, og det skal bli til hærfang for folkene,

6 And daughters its which [are] on the land with the sword they will be killed and they will know that I [am] Yahweh.

og dets døtre på fastlandet skal slåes ihjel med sverd, og de skal kjenne at jeg er Herren.

7 For thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] about to bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon from [the] north [the] king of kings with horse[s] and with chariotry and with horsemen and a company and a people numerous.

For så sier Herren, Israels Gud: Se, jeg lar Nebukadnesar, Babels konge, kongenes konge, komme mot Tyrus fra Norden med hester og vogner og ryttere og med en hær og meget folk.

8 Daughters your on the land with the sword he will kill and he will make on you a siege-wall and he will pour out on you a mound and he will raise up on you a body shield.

Dine døtre på fastlandet skal han slå ihjel med sverd, og han skal bygge skanser mot dig og kaste en voll op mot dig og reise skjoldtak mot dig.

9 And [the] blow of battering-ram his he will set on walls your and towers your he will break down with swords his.

Og sin murbrekker skal han sette mot dine murer, og dine tårn skal han bryte ned med sine jern.

10 From [the] abundance of horses his it will cover you dust their from [the] sound of a horseman and wheel[s] and chariot[s] they will shake walls your when comes he in gates your like [the] entering of a city broken into.

Hans hester er så mange at støvet av dem skal dekke dig; for larmen av ryttere og hjul og vogner skal dine murer beve, når han drar inn gjennem dine porter, som en drar inn i en hærtatt by.

11 With [the] hooves of horses his he will trample all streets your people your with the sword he will kill and [the] pillars of strength your to the ground it will come down.

Med sine hesters hover skal han trampe ned alle dine gater; ditt folk skal han slå ihjel med sverd, og dine sterke søiler skal synke til jorden.

12 And they will plunder wealth your and they will take as spoil merchandise your and they will tear down walls your and [the] houses of desire your they will pull down and stones your and wood your and dust your in [the] midst of [the] waters they will put.

De skal røve ditt gods og rane dine varer og bryte ned dine murer og rive ned dine herlige hus og kaste dine stener og ditt treverk og ditt støv ut i vannet.

13 And I will put an end to [the] noise of songs your and [the] sound of harps your not it will be heard again.

Jeg lar dine larmende sanger høre op, og lyden av dine citarer skal ikke høres mere.

14 And I will make you into bareness of rock a spreading place of nets you will be not you will be built again for I Yahweh I have spoken [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Jeg vil gjøre dig til nakent berg; du skal bli til en tørkeplass for fiskegarn; du skal aldri bygges op igjen; for jeg, Herren, har talt, sier Herren, Israels Gud.

15 Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh to Tyre ¿ not - from [the] sound of downfall your when groan [the] fatally wounded when is killed a slaughter in [the] midst of you will they quake the islands.

Så sier Herren, Israels Gud, til Tyrus: Se, kystene skal beve ved braket av ditt fall, ved de såredes stønn og ved de mange mord midt i dig.

16 And they will go down from on thrones their all [the] princes of the sea and they will remove robes their and [the] clothes of multicolored cloth their they will strip off trembling - they will be clothed on the ground they will sit and they will tremble to moments and they will be appalled on you.

Alle havets fyrster skal stige ned fra sine troner og legge av sine kapper og ta av sig sine utsydde klær; de skal klæ sig i redsel, sitte på jorden og reddes hvert øieblikk og forferdes over dig.

17 And they will take up on you a lamentation and they will say to you how! you have perished O inhabited [city] from [the] seas O city that was praised which it was mighty in the sea it and inhabitants its which they gave terror their to all inhabitants its.

De skal stemme i en klagesang over dig og si til dig: Hvorledes er du gått til grunne, du som hadde dine innbyggere fra havene, du den lovpriste stad, som var så mektig på havet, både du og dine innbyggere, som utbredte redsel for dig blandt alle som bodde der?

18 Now they will tremble the islands [the] day of downfall your and they will be terrified the islands which [are] in the sea because went out you.

Nu gripes øene av redsel på den dag du faller - øene i havet forferdes over den ende du fikk.

19 For thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh when make I you a city desolate like cities which not they are inhabited when bring up over you [the] deep and they will cover you the waters many.

For så sier Herren, Israels Gud: Når jeg gjør dig til en ødelagt by, lik de byer som det ikke lenger bor folk i, når jeg lar dypets vann stige op over dig, så vannmassene skjuler dig,

20 And I will send down you with [those who] have gone down of [the] pit to a people of antiquity and I will cause to dwell you in [the] earth of [the] lowest parts like waste places from long ago with [those who] have gone down of [the] pit so that not you will remain and I will put splendor in [the] land of [the] living.

da lar jeg dig fare ned likesom de som farer ned i graven, til fortidens folk, og lar dig bo i dødsrikets land, i ruiner fra eldgammel tid, likesom de som farer ned i graven, forat ingen mere skal bo i dig; men jeg vil gjøre herlige ting i de levendes land.

21 Terrors I will give to you and there not [will be] you so you may be sought and not you will be found again for ever [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Til en forferdelse vil jeg gjøre dig, og du skal ikke være til mere; de skal søke efter dig, men aldri i evighet finne dig, sier Herren, Israels Gud.
