Ezekiel 23
1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
La parole de l’Eternel me fut adressée en ces termes:
2 O son of humankind two women daughters of a mother one they were.
"Fils de l’homme, il y avait deux femmes, filles d’une même mère.
3 And they acted as prostitutes in Egypt in youth their they acted as prostitutes there they were handled breasts their and there they squeezed [the] nipples of virginiti their.
Elles se prostituèrent en Egypte, dans leur jeunesse elles s’y prostituèrent; là furent pressées leurs mamelles, là on étreignit leur sein virginal.
4 And names their [was] Oholah the old [one] and [was] Oholibah sister her and they belonged to me and they bore sons and daughters and names their [was] Samaria Oholah and [was] Jerusalem Oholibah.
Elles s’appelaient, l’aînée, Ohola, et sa sœur, Oholiba; elles m’appartinrent et enfantèrent des fils et des filles: leurs noms, c’étaient Samarie pour Ohola et Jérusalem pour Oholiba.
5 And she acted as a prostitute Oholah under me and she lusted on lovers her to Assyria [were] warriors.
Ohola se débaucha, alors qu’elle était en ma puissance; elle s’engoua de ceux qui la courtisaient, des Assyriens qui l’approchaient,
6 Clothed of blue governors and officials young men of desire all of them horsemen riders of horses.
gens habillés d’azur, gouverneurs et seigneurs, tous jouvenceaux séduisants, cavaliers montant des chevaux.
7 And she gave prostitution her to them [were] [the] choicest of [the] sons of Assyria all of them and by all [those] whom she lusted after by all idols their she made herself unclean.
Elle leur prodigua ses faveurs impures, à tous ces fils distingués d’Achour, et à cause de tous ceux dont elle était éprise elle se souilla par leurs idoles.
8 And prostitution her since Egypt not she forsook if her they had lain with in youth her and they they had squeezed [the] nipples of virginiti her and they had poured out prostitution their on her.
Pourtant elle ne renonça point à ses dérèglements datant de l’Egypte; car ils avaient eu commerce avec elle dans sa jeunesse, ils avaient étreint son sein virginal et répandu leur impudicité sur elle.
9 Therefore I gave her in [the] hand of lovers her in [the] hand of [the] people of Assyria whom she had lusted on them.
C’Est pourquoi je l’ai livrée entre les mains de ses amants, entre les mains des fils d’Achour, dont elle s’était éprise.
10 They they uncovered nakedness her sons her and daughters her they took and her with the sword they killed and she became a name to women and judgments they brought about on her.
Ceux-ci découvrirent sa nudité, prirent ses fils et ses filles, et elle-même, ils la firent périr par l’épée. Elle devint un exemple mémorable pour les femmes, et on lui infligea de justes châtiments.
11 And she saw sister her Oholibah and she acted corruptly lust her more than her and prostitution her more than [the] prostitutions of sister her.
Or, sa soeur Oholiba en avait été témoin; et elle s’adonna à des amours encore plus coupables, à un dévergondage pire que celui de sa soeur.
12 To [the] sons of Assyria she lusted governors and officials warriors clothed of perfection horsemen riders of horses [were] young men of desire all of them.
Elle s’éprit des fils d’Achour, des gouverneurs et seigneurs qui l’approchaient, vêtus magnifiquement, cavaliers montant des chevaux, tous jouvenceaux séduisants.
13 And I saw that she had made herself unclean way one [belonged] to both of them.
Je constatai qu’elle s’était souillée: même conduite chez toutes deux.
14 And she added to prostitution her and she saw men of a carved [thing] on the wall [the] images of ([the] Chaldeans *Q(k)*) inscribed with vermilion.
Elle enchérit sur son inconduite, quand elle vit des hommes dessinés sur la muraille, des images de Chaldéens peintes en vermillon,
15 Girded of a waistband on hips their overhung of turbans on heads their [the] appearance of of icers all of them [the] likeness of [the] sons of Babylon Chaldea [was] [the] land of kindred their.
portant des ceintures attachées aux reins, des turbans étalés sur leur tête, ayant tous l’apparence de capitaines, fidèle peinture des fils de Babel, dont la Chaldée est le pays natal.
16 (And she lusted! *Q(K)*) on them to [the] sight of eyes her and she sent messengers to them Chaldea towards.
Elle se prit d’amour pour eux, fascinée par ce qu’elle voyait, et elle leur dépêcha des messagers en Chaldée.
17 And they came to her [the] sons of Babylon to a bed of love and they defiled her by prostitution their and she became unclean by them and it was alienated self her from them.
Les fils de Babel vinrent à elle pour un commerce d’amour, et la souillèrent par leur luxure; elle reçut d’eux une souillure, puis son âme se détacha d’eux.
18 And she uncovered prostitution her and she uncovered nakedness her and it was alienated self my from with her just as it had been alienated self my from with sister her.
Elle étala ses débauches, elle découvrit sa honte, et mon âme se détacha d’elle comme mon âme s’était détachée de sa soeur.
19 And she increased prostitution her to remember [the] days of youth her when she acted as a prostitute in [the] land of Egypt.
Elle redoubla ses dérèglements, en souvenir des jours de sa jeunesse, où elle s’était prostituée dans le pays d’Egypte.
20 And she lusted! on paramours their whom [was the] flesh of donkeys flesh their and [was the] ejaculation of horses ejaculation their.
Elle s’engoua de leurs compagnons de débauche, qui ont une chair comme celle des ânes et dont la lubricité égale celle des chevaux.
21 And you sought [the] licentiousness of youth your when squeezed since Egypt nipples your on account of [the] breasts of youth your.
Et ainsi tu ravivas la mémoire de la débauche de ta jeunesse, quand les Egyptiens pressaient tes mamelles, à cause de ton sein virginal.
22 Therefore O Oholibah thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] about to rouse lovers your on you [those] whom it was alienated self your from them and I will bring them on you from round about.
C’Est pourquoi, Oholiba, ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu: Voici que je vais exciter contre toi tes amants, ceux dont s’était détaché ton coeur, et les amener de toutes parts contre toi:
23 [the] people of Babylon and all [the] Chaldeans Pekod and Shoa and Koa all [the] people of Assyria with them young men of desire governors and officials all of of them icers and called [ones] riders of horses all of them.
les fils de Babel et tous les Chaldéens, Pekod et Choa et Koa, et tous les fils d’Achour avec eux, ces jeunes hommes séduisants, tous gouverneurs et seigneurs, officiers et dignitaires, tous montant des chevaux.
24 And they will come on you weapon[s] chariot[s] and wheel[s] and with a company of peoples body shield and shield and helmet they will set up on you all around and I will set before them judgment and they will judge you by judgments their.
Ils viendront contre toi avec armes, chars et roues, avec une multitude de peuples; ils t’envelopperont d’un cercle de boucliers, d’écus et de casques. Je leur exposerai la cause, et ils te jugeront selon leurs coutumes.
25 And I will set jealousy my on you and they will deal with with you in rage nose your and ears your they will remove and remainder your by the sword it will fall they sons your and daughters your they will take and remainder your it will be consumed by fire.
Je dirigerai mon zèle jaloux contre toi, et ils te traiteront avec fureur, ils t’arracheront le nez et les oreilles, et ce qui restera de toi tombera par l’épée; ils te prendront tes fils et tes filles, et ton reste sera consumé par le feu.
26 And they will strip off you clothes your and they will take away [the] articles of beauty your.
Ils te dépouilleront de tes 'vêtements et s’empareront de tes objets de parure.
27 And I will cause to cease licentiousness your from you and prostitution your from [the] land of Egypt and not you will lift up eyes your to them and Egypt not you will remember again.
Ainsi Je mettrai fin à ton infamie et à tes débauches originaires du pays d’Egypte; tu ne lèveras plus les yeux vers eux, et de l’Egypte tu ne te souviendras plus."
28 For thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] about to give you in [the] hand of [those] whom you hate in [the] hand of [those] whom it has been alienated self your from them.
C’Est que le Seigneur Dieu parle de la sorte: "Je vais te livrer dans la main de ceux que tu détestes, dans la main de ceux dont s’est détachée ton âme.
29 And they will deal with with you in hatred and they will take all property your and they will leave you nakedness and bareness and it will be uncovered [the] nakedness of prostitutions your and licentiousness your and prostitution your.
Ils te traiteront avec haine, prendront tout le fruit de ton labeur et te laisseront là, nue et dépouillée; la honte de tes luxures sera découverte, ton infamie et tes dérèglements.
30 They have done these [things] to you because acted as a prostitute you after nations on that you made yourself unclean by idols their.
On en agira ainsi avec toi, parce que tu t’es prostituée aux nations, parce que tu t’es souillée par leurs idoles.
31 In [the] way of sister your you have walked and I will put cup her in hand your.
Tu as suivi la voie de ta soeur; je mettrai donc sa coupe dans ta main."
32 Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh [the] cup of sister your you will drink deep and wide it will become laughter and mockery much to contain.
Ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu: "Tu boiras la coupe de ta soeur, si profonde et si large; elle sera une cause de risée et de moquerie, cette coupe au grand contenu.
33 Drunkenness and sorrow you will be filled [is] a cup of horror and desolation [the] cup of sister your Samaria.
Tu seras remplie d’ivresse et de peine; c’est une coupe de ruine et de désolation, la coupe de ta soeur Samarie.
34 And you will drink it and you will drain [it] and fragments its you will break and breasts your you will tear out for I I have spoken [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
Tu la boiras jusqu’à la dernière goutte, tu en rongeras les tessons et tu te déchireras les seins, car c’est moi qui parle", dit le Seigneur Dieu.
35 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh because you have forgotten me and you have thrown me behind back your and also you bear licentiousness your and prostitution your.
Oui certes, ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu: "Puisque tu m’as oublié et que tu m’as rejeté derrière ton dos, porte donc, toi aussi, la peine de ton infamie et de tes dérèglements."
36 And he said Yahweh to me O son of humankind ¿ will you judge Oholah and Oholibah and declare to them abominations their.
L’Eternel me dit: "Fils de l’homme, veux-tu faire le procès de Ohola et de Oholiba? Expose-leur leurs abominations.
37 For they have committed adultery and blood [is] on hands their and with idols their they have committed adultery and also children their whom they bore to me they made pass through to them to food.
Elles ont forniqué, il y a du sang sur leurs mains; elles ont forniqué avec leurs idoles et sont allées jusqu’à leur livrer en pâture leurs fils, qu’elles m’avaient enfantés.
38 Again this they have done to me they have made unclean sanctuary my on the day that and sabbaths my they have profaned.
Elles m’ont fait ceci encore: elles ont souillé mon sanctuaire ce même jour et profané mes sabbats.
39 And when had slaughtered they children their to idols their and they went into sanctuary my on the day that to profane it and there! thus they did in [the] midst of house my.
Oui, lorsqu’elles immolaient leurs fils à leurs idoles, elles entraient le même jour dans mon sanctuaire pour le profaner; voilà comme elles en ont agi dans ma maison.
40 And also for they sent for men [who] come from a distance whom a messenger [was] sent to them and there! they came for whom you bathed you painted eyes your and you put on ornament[s].
Bien plus, elles envoyaient chercher des hommes qui venaient de loin; un ambassadeur leur était dépêché, et ils arrivaient ceux pour qui tu t’étais baignée, tu t’étais enduit les yeux de fard, et tu avais revêtu tes atours.
41 And you sat on a couch glorious and a table [was] arranged before it and incense my and oil my you put on it.
Et tu prenais place sur un lit d’apparat, devant lequel une table était dressée, où tu posais mon encens et mon huile.
42 And [the] sound of a multitude at ease [was] in her and to men from [the] multitude of humankind [were] brought (Sabeans *Q(K)*) from [the] wilderness and they put bracelets to hands their and a crown of beauty on heads their.
On entendait chez elle le bruit d’une multitude paisible, et aux gens d’une nombreuse foule venaient encore s’ajouter des buveurs amenés du désert; alors elles mettaient des bracelets à leurs bras et une couronne magnifique sur leur tête.
43 And I said of the [woman] worn out adulteries (now they will act as a prostitutes *Q(K)*) prostitution her and she.
Et j’ai dit de celle qui est flétrie par son inconduite: Encore maintenant on se livre avec elle aux débauches habituelles.
44 And he went into her as goes into a woman a prostitute so they went into Oholah and into Oholibah [the] women of licentiousness.
On venait vers elle comme on vient vers une femme prostituée; ainsi on est venu vers Ohola et Oholiba, femmes de mauvaises moeurs.
45 And people righteous they they will judge them judgment of adulteresses and judgment of [women who] shed blood for [are] adulteresses they and blood [is] on hands their.
Or ce seront des hommes justes qui leur appliqueront la peine des adultères et 'la peine de celles qui versent le sang; car elles sont adultères et il y a du sang sur leurs mains."
46 For thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh bring up on them a company and give over them to terror and to spoil.
En effet, ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu: "Qu’on fasse monter contre elles une grande foule et qu’on les livre à la terreur et au pillage!
47 And they will stone on them stone[s] [the] company and they will cut down them with swords their sons their and daughters their they will kill and houses their with fire they will burn.
Que cette Moule les accable sous les pierres et les transperce par les glaives, qu’on fasse périr leurs fils et leurs filles et mettre le feu à leurs maisons!
48 And I will cause to cease licentiousness from the land and they will be warned all the women and not they will do like licentiousness your.
Ainsi je purgerai le pays de la débauche, toutes les femmes recevront une leçon et elles n’imiteront point votre inconduite.
49 And people will requite licentiousness your to you and [the] sins of idols your you will bear and you will know that I [am the] Lord Yahweh.
On vous chargera du poids de votre débauche, vous porterez la peine de vos odieuses idoles, et vous reconnaîtrez que je suis le Seigneur Dieu."
