Ezekiel 17
1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
Lại có lời Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta như vầy:
2 O son of humankind ask a riddle a riddle and speak a parable a parable concerning [the] house of Israel.
Hỡi con người, khá ra câu đố, kể lời ví dụ cho nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên.
3 And you will say thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh the eagle great great of wings long of pinion full plumage which [belonged] to it variegated plumage it came to Lebanon and it took [the] treetop of the cedar.
Ngươi khá nói rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Có một chim ưng lớn, cánh lớn lông dài, đầy lông và có nhiều sắc, đến Li-ban và lấy ngọn cây hương bách đi.
4 [the] top Shoots its it plucked off and it brought it to a land of merchant[s] in a city of traders it placed it.
Nó bẻ nhành non rất cao, đem đến trong một đất thương mãi, và để trong một thành của người buôn bán.
5 And it took one of [the] seed of the land and it put it in a field of seed take [it] at waters many a willow it placed it.
Sau rồi nó lấy giống của đất ấy đem trồng nơi đất tốt; đặt gần nơi nhiều nước, và trồng như cây liễu.
6 And it sprouted and it became a vine spreading low of stature to turn branches its to it and roots its under it they were and it became a vine and it produced shoots and it sent out boughs.
Cây nứt lên, trở nên một gốc nho diềm dà, nhưng không cao mấy: những nhánh nó hướng về phía chim ưng, rễ nó càng ra ở dưới; vậy nó trở nên một gốc nho, sanh ra những tược và nứt chồi.
7 And it was an eagle one great great of wings and great of plumage and there! the vine this it bent roots its on it and branches its it sent out to it to water it from [the] beds of planting its.
Nhưng có một chim ưng lớn khác, cánh lớn, lông nhiều; nầy, gốc nho từ chỗ đất mình đã được trồng, căng rễ ra và ngả nhành hướng về nó, hầu cho chim ưng ấy đến tưới mình.
8 To a field good to waters many it [was] planted to produce branch[es] and to bear fruit to become a vine of splendor.
Gốc nho đã được trồng nơi đất tốt, gần nơi nhiều nước, hầu cho nứt tược, ra trái, trở nên cây nho tốt.
9 Say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh will it prosper? ¿ not roots its will it pull up and fruit its - will it strip off? and it will wither all [the] fresh [things] of growth its it will wither and not by an arm great and by a people numerous to lift up it from roots its.
Ngươi khá nói rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Cây nho há được thạnh tốt sao? Chim ưng kia há chẳng nhổ rễ nó, cắt trái nó, cho đến nỗi làm khô héo hết những lá non nó đã nứt ra sao? Không cần có cánh tay mạnh, cũng không cần nhiều người để làm trốc rễ nó.
10 And there! [it is] planted ¿ will it prosper ¿ not when touches it [the] wind of the east will it wither completely on [the] beds of growth its it will wither.
Kìa, đã trồng nó, nó có được thạnh tốt chăng? Vừa khi gió đông đụng đến nó, nó há chẳng khô héo cả sao? Phải, nó sẽ khô nơi cùng một luống đất mà nó đã được trồng.
11 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
Vả, có lời Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta như vầy:
12 Say please to [the] house of rebellion ¿ not do you know what? [are] these [things] say there! he went [the] king of Babylon Jerusalem and he took king its and princes its and he brought them to himself Babylon towards.
Hãy nói cùng nhà bạn nghịch ấy rằng: Các ngươi không biết điều đó có ý nghĩa thế nào sao? Lại khá nói rằng: Nầy, vua Ba-by-lôn đã đi đến Giê-ru-sa-lem; đã bắt vua và các quan trưởng đem đi với mình về Ba-by-lôn.
13 And he took one of [the] offspring of royalty and he made with him a covenant and he made go him in an oath and [the] leaders of the land he took.
Vua ấy đã chọn một con vua, lập giao ước với, khiến phát lời thề, và đã điệu những người mạnh trong đất đi,
14 To be a kingdom lowly to not to exalt itself to keep covenant his to continue it.
đặng cho nước phải sa sút, không tự dấy lên được; song bởi giữ giao ước, thì nước còn lại.
15 And he rebelled against him by sending messengers his Egypt to give to him horses and a people numerous ¿ will he prosper ¿ will he escape the [one who] does these [things] and will he break? a covenant and will he escape?
Nhưng vua đã dấy loạn nghịch cùng vua Ba-by-lôn, mà sai sứ thần đến Ê-díp-tô, đặng người ta giúp cho những ngựa và nhiều dân. Người há được thạnh vượng sao? Người đã làm những việc như vậy, há thoát nạn được sao? Đã dứt bỏ lời giao ước, còn mong thoát nạn!
16 [by] [the] life Of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if not in [the] place of the king who made king him whom he despised oath his and whom he broke covenant his with him in [the] midst of Babylon he will die.
Chúa Giê-hô-va phán: Thật như ta hằng sống, ấy là tại nơi ở của vua đã tôn nó lên ngôi, mà nó đã khinh dể lời thề và dứt bỏ giao ước, thì nó cũng sẽ chết với vua ấy tại giữa Ba-by-lôn.
17 And not with an army large and with a company great he will do with him Pharaoh in battle when pour out a mound and when build a siege-wall to cut off lives many.
Pha-ra-ôn sẽ không đi với một đạo binh lớn và những toán lính đông đến cứu viện trong sự giao chiến, hi người ta đắp lũy dựng đồn để hủy diệt nhiều người.
18 And he despised [the] oath by breaking [the] covenant and there! he had given hand his and all these [things] he did not he will escape.
Thật vậy, Sê-đê-kia đã khinh dể lời thề, phạm đến giao ước; nầy, đã trao tay ra rồi, thế mà nó còn làm những sự ấy. Nó chắc không thoát khỏi!
19 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh [by] [the] life of me if not oath my which he despised and covenant my which he broke and I will requite it on own head his.
Vậy nên, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Thật như ta hằng sống, nó đã khinh dể lời thề ta, dứt bỏ giao ước ta, ta sẽ khiến điều đó đổ lại trên đầu nó.
20 And I will spread over him net my and he will be caught in hunting net my and I will bring him Babylon towards and I will enter into judgment with him there unfaithfulness his which he has acted unfaithfully against me.
Ta sẽ giăng lưới ta trên nó, nó sẽ mắc vào lưới ta; ta sẽ đem nó qua Ba-by-lôn, tại đó ta sẽ đoán xét nó về tội nghịch cùng ta.
21 And all (fugitives his *Q(K)*) among all troops his by the sword they will fall and the [ones who] survive to every wind they will be scattered and you will know that I Yahweh I have spoken.
Phàm những quân lính nó đi trốn sẽ ngã dưới lưỡi gươm; những kẻ còn sót lại sẽ bị tan lạc hướng về mọi gió. Bấy giờ các ngươi sẽ biết ấy chính ta, Đức Giê-hô-va, là Đấng đã phán vậy.
22 Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh and I will take I from [the] treetop of the cedar high and I will place [it] from [the] top of young shoots its a tender [shoot] I will pluck off and I will plant [it] I on a mountain high and lofty.
Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Chính ta cũng sẽ lấy ngọn cây hương bách cao, và ta sẽ trồng. ỳ nơi cuối cùng những nhánh nó, ta sẽ bẻ một chồi non, và chính ta sẽ trồng nó trên hòn núi cao chót vót.
23 On [the] mountain of [the] height of Israel I will plant it and it will bear branch[es] and it will produce fruit and it will become a cedar majestic and they will dwell under it every bird every wing in [the] shadow of branches its they will dwell.
Thật, ta sẽ trồng nó trên núi cao của Y-sơ-ra-ên; nó sẽ nứt nhành, và ra trái; sẽ trở nên cây hương bách tốt, cả loài chim sẽ đến núp dưới nó; hết thảy những giống có cánh sẽ ở dưới bóng của nhánh cây.
24 And they will know all [the] trees of the field that I Yahweh I bring low - a tree tall I raise up a tree low I make dry a tree moist and I make sprout a tree dry I Yahweh I have spoken and I will act.
Mọi cây ngoài đồng sẽ biết rằng ta, Đức Giê-hô-va, đã hạ cây cao xuống và cất cây thấp lên, ta đã làm khô cây xanh, và làm cho cây khô tốt lên. Ta, Đức Giê-hô-va, đã phán và làm thành sự đó.
