Ezekiel 17
1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
BOEIPA ol he kai taengla ha pawk tih,
2 O son of humankind ask a riddle a riddle and speak a parable a parable concerning [the] house of Israel.
“Hlang capa, Israel imkhui te olkael neh voek lamtah thuidoeknah neh thuidoek lah.
3 And you will say thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh the eagle great great of wings long of pinion full plumage which [belonged] to it variegated plumage it came to Lebanon and it took [the] treetop of the cedar.
Te vaengah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a. thui. atha len rhoe len tih a phae mul khaw sai. A dii te khaw rhaekva bangla phung. Lebanon la a pawk vaengah lamphai thingsoi ah cu.
4 [the] top Shoots its it plucked off and it brought it to a land of merchant[s] in a city of traders it placed it.
A thingsam soi te a hlaek tih Kanaan kho la a khuen. Te phoeiah thenpom khopuei ah a ten.
5 And it took one of [the] seed of the land and it put it in a field of seed take [it] at waters many a willow it placed it.
Khohmuen cangti te khaw a loh tih cangti khohmuen ah a tuh. Tairhi te a loh tih tui taengah khawk a sut.
6 And it sprouted and it became a vine spreading low of stature to turn branches its to it and roots its under it they were and it became a vine and it produced shoots and it sent out boughs.
A duei vaengah misur bangla om tih a sang khaw a toem la cawn. A hlaeng khaw amah taengla ngoi tih a dang ah a yung om van. Te dongah misur bangla om tih amah a saii neh thingsam la cawn.
7 And it was an eagle one great great of wings and great of plumage and there! the vine this it bent roots its on it and branches its it sent out to it to water it from [the] beds of planting its.
Tedae atha pakhat tah a phae a len, len neh om tih a dii khaw phung. Te vaengah misur te anih taengla a yung a hlak tih canglak kah a thingling te suep ham a hlaeng anih taengla a voeih.
8 To a field good to waters many it [was] planted to produce branch[es] and to bear fruit to become a vine of splendor.
A hlaeng saii ham neh a thaih thaih sak ham, misur bangla a bu om sak ham khohmuen then neh tui taengah muep a phung.
9 Say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh will it prosper? ¿ not roots its will it pull up and fruit its - will it strip off? and it will wither all [the] fresh [things] of growth its it will wither and not by an arm great and by a people numerous to lift up it from roots its.
Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a. thui. Thaihtak ni ti nah. A yung pat vetih a thaih khaw hul mahpawt nim? A dawn thingsuep te boeih a rhae akhaw rhae mai veh. A yung lamloh a kuel ham khaw pilnam a yet neh bantha a len a kuek moenih.
10 And there! [it is] planted ¿ will it prosper ¿ not when touches it [the] wind of the east will it wither completely on [the] beds of growth its it will wither.
A phung dae thaihtak aya he? Anih te khothoeng yilh loh a yawn vaengah rhae rhoe rhae vetih canglak kah a thingdawn pataeng rhae mahpawt nim?,” a ti.
11 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
BOEIPA ol te kai taengla koep ha pawk tih,
12 Say please to [the] house of rebellion ¿ not do you know what? [are] these [things] say there! he went [the] king of Babylon Jerusalem and he took king its and princes its and he brought them to himself Babylon towards.
Boekoek imkhui te thui pah laeh. He tla a thui he na ming pawt nim? Babylon manghai loh Jerusalem a paan tih a manghai neh a mangpa rhoek khaw a khuen coeng ke. Amih te a taengah Babylon la a khuen coeng.
13 And he took one of [the] offspring of royalty and he made with him a covenant and he made go him in an oath and [the] leaders of the land he took.
Mangpa tiingan lamkah te a khuen tih a taengah paipi a saii pah. Anih te olcaeng hmuiah kun tih khohmuen thingnu te a loh.
14 To be a kingdom lowly to not to exalt itself to keep covenant his to continue it.
Tlarhoel ram la om sak tih soekloek pawt ham, a paipi ngaithuen ham neh thoh sak ham a saii.
15 And he rebelled against him by sending messengers his Egypt to give to him horses and a people numerous ¿ will he prosper ¿ will he escape the [one who] does these [things] and will he break? a covenant and will he escape?
Amah ham marhang neh pilnam muep dang ham Egypt la puencawn a tueih neh anih te a tloelh dae thaihtak aya? Te te aka saii te loeih aya? Paipi aka phae khaw loeih aya?
16 [by] [the] life Of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if not in [the] place of the king who made king him whom he despised oath his and whom he broke covenant his with him in [the] midst of Babylon he will die.
Kai tah hingnah ni tite ka Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong ni. Manghai khohmuen ah anih te ka manghai sak. A olcaeng a sit tih a taengkah a paipi te a phae dongah Babylon lakli ah duek saeh.
17 And not with an army large and with a company great he will do with him Pharaoh in battle when pour out a mound and when build a siege-wall to cut off lives many.

18 And he despised [the] oath by breaking [the] covenant and there! he had given hand his and all these [things] he did not he will escape.
Paipi phae ham olcaeng a hnoel van dongah a kut duen cakhaw a cungkuem a saii he loeih mahpawh ne.
19 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh [by] [the] life of me if not oath my which he despised and covenant my which he broke and I will requite it on own head his.
Te dongah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a. thui. Kai he hingnah pawt bangla ka olcaeng a sit tih ka paipi aka hnalval te amah lu ah ni ka thoeng sak eh.
20 And I will spread over him net my and he will be caught in hunting net my and I will bring him Babylon towards and I will enter into judgment with him there unfaithfulness his which he has acted unfaithfully against me.
Anih te ka lawk ka tung pah vetih ka rhalvong dongah man ni. Anih te Babylon la ka khuen vetih a boekoeknah neh kai taengah boe a koek te anih soah lai ka tloek ni.
21 And all (fugitives his *Q(K)*) among all troops his by the sword they will fall and the [ones who] survive to every wind they will be scattered and you will know that I Yahweh I have spoken.
A hlangyong, a hlangyong boeih tah a caembong boeih khaw cunghang dongah cungku uh vetih aka sueng rhoek te khohli cungkuem taengla a thaek uh ni. Te vaengah BOEIPA kamah loh ka thui te na ming bitni.
22 Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh and I will take I from [the] treetop of the cedar high and I will place [it] from [the] top of young shoots its a tender [shoot] I will pluck off and I will plant [it] I on a mountain high and lofty.
Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Kai loh lamphai thingsang thingsoi lamkah ka loh vetih thingsam lamkah ka phung ni. A dawn mongkawt te ka hlaek vetih tlang sang palek ah ka phung ni.
23 On [the] mountain of [the] height of Israel I will plant it and it will bear branch[es] and it will produce fruit and it will become a cedar majestic and they will dwell under it every bird every wing in [the] shadow of branches its they will dwell.
Israel tlang sang ah ka phung vaengah a hlaeng cawn vetih a thaih thai ni. Te vaengah aka khuet lamphai la om vetih a soah vaa cungkuem loh kho a sak. A hlaeng hlipkhup kah a hmoi tomah om uh ni.
24 And they will know all [the] trees of the field that I Yahweh I bring low - a tree tall I raise up a tree low I make dry a tree moist and I make sprout a tree dry I Yahweh I have spoken and I will act.
Te vaengah khohmuen kah thing boeih loh BOEIPA kamah he m'ming uh ni. Thing sang te ka kunyun sak tih, thing toem te ka sang sak. Thing a thingsup khaw ka koh sak tih thing koh khaw ka saihnim sak. Kai BOEIPA loh ka thui bangla ka saii ni.
