Ezekiel 15

1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.

Et la parole du Seigneur me vint, disant:

2 O son of humankind what? is it [the] wood of the vine more than any tree the vine branch which it is among [the] trees of the forest.

Dis, fils de l'homme, qu'est-ce que le bois de la vigne, en comparaison des arbres qui se trouvent dans les forêts?

3 ¿ Is it taken from it wood to make into a product or? do people take from it a peg to hang on it any vessel.

Prendra-t-on le bois pour le rendre propre à être mis en œuvre? En fera- t-on des chevilles pour y suspendre quelque objet?

4 There! to the fire it is given for fuel [the] two ends its it consumes the fire and [the] middle of it it is charred ¿ is it successful for a product.

Il n'est bon qu'à être jeté au feu et consumé; le feu chaque année consume le sarment qu'on ôte à la vigne en la taillant, et finalement il n'en reste rien; est-ce qu'il est propre à être mis en œuvre?

5 There! when was it complete not it was made into a product indeed? if a fire it has consumed it and it has been charred and will it be made? again into a product.

Et même lorsqu'il est encore entier, il ne peut servir à aucune œuvre: si donc le feu l'a entièrement consumé, sera-t-il propre à être mis en œuvre?

6 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh just as [the] wood of the vine among [the] tree[s] of the forest which I have given it to the fire for fuel so I have given [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem.

À cause de cela, dis-leur: Ainsi parle le Seigneur: De même que j'ai abandonné au feu, pour être consumé, le bois de la vigne parmi les arbres de la forêt; ainsi j'ai abandonné les habitants de Jérusalem.

7 And I will set face my on them from the fire they have come out and the fire it will consume them and you will know that I [am] Yahweh when set I face my on them.

Et je tournerai contre eux mon visage; ils sortiront du feu, et cependant le feu les dévorera, et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur, lorsque j'aurai tourné mon visage contre eux.

8 And I will make the land a desolation because they have acted unfaithfully unfaithfulness [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Et je livrerai leur terre à la désolation pour les punir de leurs transgressions, dit le Seigneur.
