Ezekiel 15

1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.

Tedy stalo se slovo Hospodinovo ke mně, řkoucí:

2 O son of humankind what? is it [the] wood of the vine more than any tree the vine branch which it is among [the] trees of the forest.

Synu člověčí, co jest dřevo révové proti všelijakému dřevu, aneb proti ratolestem dříví lesního?

3 ¿ Is it taken from it wood to make into a product or? do people take from it a peg to hang on it any vessel.

Zdaliž vzato bude z něho dřevo k udělání něčeho? Zdaliž udělají z něho hřebík k zavěšování na něm všelijaké nádoby?

4 There! to the fire it is given for fuel [the] two ends its it consumes the fire and [the] middle of it it is charred ¿ is it successful for a product.

Aj, na oheň dává se k sežrání. Když oba konce jeho sežere oheň, a prostředek jeho obhoří, zdaž se k čemu hoditi může?

5 There! when was it complete not it was made into a product indeed? if a fire it has consumed it and it has been charred and will it be made? again into a product.

Aj, když byl celý, nic nemohlo býti z něho uděláno, ovšem když jej oheň sežral, a shořel, k ničemu se více hoditi nebude.

6 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh just as [the] wood of the vine among [the] tree[s] of the forest which I have given it to the fire for fuel so I have given [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Protož takto praví Panovník Hospodin: Jakož jest dřevo révové mezi dřívím lesním, kteréž jsem oddal ohni k sežrání, tak jsem oddal obyvatele Jeruzalémské.

7 And I will set face my on them from the fire they have come out and the fire it will consume them and you will know that I [am] Yahweh when set I face my on them.

Nebo postavím tvář svou hněvivou proti nim. Z ohně jednoho vyjdou, a oheň druhý zžíře je. I zvíte, že já jsem Hospodin, když obrátím tvář svou hněvivou proti nim.

8 And I will make the land a desolation because they have acted unfaithfully unfaithfulness [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

A obrátím zemi tuto v poušť, proto že se přestoupení dopouštěli, praví Panovník Hospodin.
