Ezekiel 11
1 And it lifted up me a spirit and it brought me to [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh eastern which faces east-ward and there! [were] at [the] entrance of the gate twenty and five man and I saw in midst of them Jaazaniah [the] son of Azzur and Pelatiah [the] son of Benaiah [the] leaders of the people.
Da führte mich ein Geist hinweg und brachte mich am Haus des Herrn zum vordern Tor, das gegen Morgen schaut, und an des Tores Eingang standen fünfundzwanzig Männer, und unter ihnen sah ich den Jazanja, Uzars Sohn, und den Pelatja, des Benaja Sohn, die Obersten des Volkes.
2 And he said to me O son of humankind these [are] the people who plan wickedness and who counsel counsel of evil in the city this.
Er sprach zu mir. "Sieh, Menschensohn! Das sind die Männer, die solch Unheil sinnen und schlimmen Rat in dieser Stadt abhalten;
3 Who say not [is] in [the] near [future] to build houses it [is] the pot and we [are] the meat.
die sprechen: 'Heißt es jetzt nicht, Häuser zu erstellen?' 'Sie ist der Topf'. 'Wir sind das Fleisch'.
4 Therefore prophesy on them prophesy O son of humankind.
Weissage darum gegen sie! Ja weissage, du Menschensohn!"
5 And it fell on me [the] spirit of Yahweh and he said to me say thus he says Yahweh thus you have said O house of Israel and [the] thoughts of spirit your I I know it.
Da senkte sich auf mich der Geist des Herrn; er sprach zu mir: "Verkünde! Es spricht der Herr: 'Ihr habt doch so gesprochen, du Haus Israel. Was euch in eurem Geiste aufsteigt, weiß ich wohl.
6 You have multiplied slain [ones] your in the city this and you have filled streets its [the] slain.
In dieser Stadt sind's eurer Opfer viel; mit solchen Opfern füllt ihr ihre Straßen an.'
7 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh slain [ones] your which you have put in [the] midst of it they [are] the meat and it [is] the pot and you he will bring out from [the] midst of it.
Deshalb spricht so der Herr, der Herr: 'Ja eure Todesopfer, die ihr in ihrer Mitte habt vollbracht, die sind das Fleisch. Sie ist der Topf. Euch aber schleppe ich hinweg von ihr.
8 A sword you have feared and a sword I will bring on you [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
Vorm Schwerte habt ihr Angst; ich bringe über euch das Schwert.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
9 And I will bring out you from [the] midst of it and I will give you in [the] hand of strangers and I will bring about on you judgments.
'Ich führe euch aus ihr hinweg und geb euch in die Hand von Fremden, und ich vollstrecke so an euch die Strafe.
10 By the sword you will fall on [the] territory of Israel I will judge you and you will know that I [am] Yahweh.
Ihr fallet durch das Schwert; so richte ich euch an der Grenze Israels, daß ihr erkennt: Ich bin der Herr.
11 It not it will become for you a pot and you you will become in [the] midst of it meat to [the] border of Israel I will judge you.
Sie soll euch nicht zum Topfe dienen, ihr werdet darin nicht das Fleisch mehr sein. Ich richt euch an der Grenze Israels,
12 And you will know that I [am] Yahweh whom in statutes my not you have walked and judgments my not you have done and according to [the] judgments of the nations which [are] around you you have done.
daß ihr erkennt, daß ich der Herr bin, nach dessen Satzungen ihr nicht gewandelt und dessen Vorschriften ihr nicht erfüllt. Nein, nach der Heiden Sitten rings um euch, danach habt ihr gehandelt.'"
13 And it was when prophesied I and Pelatiah [the] son of Benaiah he died and I fell on face my and I cried out a voice great and I said alas! O Lord Yahweh complete destruction [are] you? making with [the] remnant of Israel.
Als ich so weissagte, geschah's, daß den Pelaja, des Benaja Sohn, der Tod ereilte. Da fiel ich auf mein Angesicht und rief mit lauter Stimme: "Ach Herr, ach Herr! Willst Du denn jetzt den Rest von Israel vertilgen?"
14 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
Darauf erging das Wort des Herrn an mich:
15 O son of humankind brothers your brothers your [the] people of redemption your and all [the] house of Israel all of it whom they said to them [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem be distant from with Yahweh to us it it has been given the land to a possession.
"Hör, Menschensohn! Zu deinen Brüdern, zu deinen Brüdern, deinen Blutsverwandten, zum ganzen Haus von Israel, zu denen die Bewohner von Jerusalem nun sagen: 'Laßt doch den Herrn! Uns ist das Land zum Eigentum gegeben',
16 Therefore say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh that I have removed far away them among the nations and that I have scattered them among the lands and I have become for them a sanctuary a little in the lands where they have gone there.
sprich deshalb: 'Also spricht der Herr, der Herr: Zwar habe ich sie zu den Heiden abgeführt; zwar habe ich sie in die Länder hin zerstreut. Doch dien ich ihnen auch für diese kurze Zeit zur Schutzwehr in den Ländern, die sie jetzt betreten.'
17 Therefore say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh and I will gather you from the peoples and I will gather you from the lands which you have been scattered among them and I will give to you [the] land of Israel.
Sprich deshalb: 'Also spricht der Herr, der Herr: Ich will euch aus den Völkern sammeln und aus den Ländern euch zusammenbringen, worin ihr seid zerstreut. Ich gebe euch das Land Israel wieder.'
18 And they will come there towards and they will remove all detestable things its and all abominations its from it.
Und kommen sie dahin, so werden sie daraus all seine Scheusale und seine Greuel all entfernen.
19 And I will give to them a heart one and a spirit new I will put in inner being your and I will remove [the] heart of stone from flesh their and I will give to them a heart of flesh.
Ich gebe ihnen ja ein anderes Herz und gebe in ihr Inneres einen neuen Geist. Ich nehme weg ein steinern Herz aus ihrem Leibe und schenke ihnen dann ein Herz von Fleisch.
20 So that in statutes my they may walk and judgments my they may keep and they will do them and they will become for me a people and I I will become for them God.
Dann wandeln sie in meinen Satzungen, befolgen meine Vorschriften genau und werden mir zum Volke, ich ihr Gott.
21 And to [the] heart of detestable things their and abominations their heart their [is] going conduct their on own head their I will requite [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
Elender Götzen Greuel haben nun ihr Herz verführt; und denen lohne ich den Wandel auf den Kopf." Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
22 And they lifted up the cherubim wings their and the wheels [were] close by them and [the] glory of [the] God of Israel [was] above them from to above.
Die Cherube erhoben ihre Flügel; desgleichen hoben sich die Räder, und oben über ihnen war die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels.
23 And it went up [the] glory of Yahweh from over [the] middle of the city and it stood still over the mountain which [was] from [the] east of the city.
Die Herrlichkeit des Herrn verließ die Stadt und ließ sich auf dem Berge nieder, der östlich von der Stadt gelegen.
24 And a spirit it lifted up me and it brought me Chaldea towards to the exile[s] in the vision by [the] spirit of God and it went up from on me the vision which I had seen.
Mich aber hob ein Geist empor und brachte nach Chaldäa mich zu den Gefangenen in einem göttlichen Gesicht. Doch das Gesicht, das ich geschaut, verschwand vor mir.
25 And I spoke to the exile[s] all [the] words of Yahweh which he had shown me.
Und ich erzählte den Gefangenen dies alles, was der Herr mich hatte schauen lassen.
