Ezekiel 11
1 And it lifted up me a spirit and it brought me to [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh eastern which faces east-ward and there! [were] at [the] entrance of the gate twenty and five man and I saw in midst of them Jaazaniah [the] son of Azzur and Pelatiah [the] son of Benaiah [the] leaders of the people.
Puis l'Esprit me souleva, et m'amena à la porte antérieure de la maison de l'Éternel, qui donne à l'orient, et voici, à l'entrée de la porte il y avait vingt-cinq hommes, et je vis parmi eux Jaasénia, fils de Hazzur, et Platéia, fils de Bénaïa, princes du peuple.
2 And he said to me O son of humankind these [are] the people who plan wickedness and who counsel counsel of evil in the city this.
Et Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, ce sont là les hommes qui méditent le crime, et conseillent le mal dans cette ville;
3 Who say not [is] in [the] near [future] to build houses it [is] the pot and we [are] the meat.
ils disent: Ce n'est pas le moment de bâtir des maisons; cette [ville] est la chaudière et nous sommes les viandes.
4 Therefore prophesy on them prophesy O son of humankind.
C'est pourquoi prophétise contre eux, prophétise, fils de l'homme!
5 And it fell on me [the] spirit of Yahweh and he said to me say thus he says Yahweh thus you have said O house of Israel and [the] thoughts of spirit your I I know it.
Et l'Esprit de l'Éternel tomba sur moi, et me dit: Dis: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: C'est ainsi que vous parlez, maison d'Israël! et ce que vous avez dans l'esprit, je le sais.
6 You have multiplied slain [ones] your in the city this and you have filled streets its [the] slain.
Vous avez multiplié les meurtres dans cette ville et rempli ses rues de morts.
7 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh slain [ones] your which you have put in [the] midst of it they [are] the meat and it [is] the pot and you he will bring out from [the] midst of it.
C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Vos morts que vous avez étendus au milieu d'elle, ce sont les viandes et elle est la chaudière; mais vous, on vous en fera sortir.
8 A sword you have feared and a sword I will bring on you [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
Vous craignez l'épée, et c'est l'épée que je ferai venir sur vous, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
9 And I will bring out you from [the] midst of it and I will give you in [the] hand of strangers and I will bring about on you judgments.
Et je vous ferai sortir du milieu d'elle, et vous livrerai aux mains des étrangers, et j'exécuterai sur vous mes jugements.
10 By the sword you will fall on [the] territory of Israel I will judge you and you will know that I [am] Yahweh.
Sous l'épée vous tomberez, à la frontière d'Israël je vous jugerai, afin que vous reconnaissiez que je suis l'Éternel.
11 It not it will become for you a pot and you you will become in [the] midst of it meat to [the] border of Israel I will judge you.
Elle ne sera pas pour vous une chaudière, et vous n'y serez pas comme des viandes; c'est à la frontière d'Israël que je vous jugerai.
12 And you will know that I [am] Yahweh whom in statutes my not you have walked and judgments my not you have done and according to [the] judgments of the nations which [are] around you you have done.
Et vous reconnaîtrez que je suis l'Éternel, dont vous n'avez point suivi les décrets, ni pratiqué les lois; mais vous avez suivi les lois des peuples de vos alentours.
13 And it was when prophesied I and Pelatiah [the] son of Benaiah he died and I fell on face my and I cried out a voice great and I said alas! O Lord Yahweh complete destruction [are] you? making with [the] remnant of Israel.
Et comme je prophétisais, Platéia, fils de Bénaïa, mourut; et je tombai sur ma face, et je m'écriai à haute voix et dis: Ah! Seigneur Éternel, veux-tu faire extermination du reste d'Israël?
14 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
Et la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée en ces mots:
15 O son of humankind brothers your brothers your [the] people of redemption your and all [the] house of Israel all of it whom they said to them [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem be distant from with Yahweh to us it it has been given the land to a possession.
Fils de l'homme, ce sont tes frères, tes frères, les gens de ta parenté, c'est la maison d'Israël tout entière à qui les habitants de Jérusalem disent: Demeurez loin de l'Éternel, c'est à nous que le pays a été donné en propriété.
16 Therefore say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh that I have removed far away them among the nations and that I have scattered them among the lands and I have become for them a sanctuary a little in the lands where they have gone there.
Dis donc: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Quand même je les tiens éloignés parmi les nations, et quand même je les ai dispersés dans les pays divers, je veux être pour eux un saint asile, pendant quelque temps, dans les pays où ils sont venus.
17 Therefore say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh and I will gather you from the peoples and I will gather you from the lands which you have been scattered among them and I will give to you [the] land of Israel.
Dis donc: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Je vous recueillerai du milieu des peuples, et vous réunirai en vous tirant des pays où vous êtes épars, et je vous donnerai le pays d'Israël.
18 And they will come there towards and they will remove all detestable things its and all abominations its from it.
Et ils y viendront et en ôteront toutes ses infamies et toutes ses abominations.
19 And I will give to them a heart one and a spirit new I will put in inner being your and I will remove [the] heart of stone from flesh their and I will give to them a heart of flesh.
Et je leur donnerai un seul et même cœur, et je mettrai en eux un esprit nouveau, et j'ôterai de leur corps leur cœur de pierre, et leur donnerai un cœur de chair,
20 So that in statutes my they may walk and judgments my they may keep and they will do them and they will become for me a people and I I will become for them God.
afin qu'ils suivent mes ordonnances et qu'ils observent et pratiquent mes lois; et ils seront mon peuple, et moi je serai leur Dieu.
21 And to [the] heart of detestable things their and abominations their heart their [is] going conduct their on own head their I will requite [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
Pour ceux dont le cœur marche au gré de leurs infamies et de leurs abominations, je ferai retomber leur conduite sur leur tête, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
22 And they lifted up the cherubim wings their and the wheels [were] close by them and [the] glory of [the] God of Israel [was] above them from to above.
Et les Chérubins soulevèrent leurs ailes, et les roues cheminaient à côté d'eux, et la gloire du Dieu d'Israël était en haut au-dessus d'eux.
23 And it went up [the] glory of Yahweh from over [the] middle of the city and it stood still over the mountain which [was] from [the] east of the city.
Et la gloire de l'Éternel s'éleva du milieu de la ville, et vint s'arrêter sur la montagne qui est à l'orient de la ville.
24 And a spirit it lifted up me and it brought me Chaldea towards to the exile[s] in the vision by [the] spirit of God and it went up from on me the vision which I had seen.
Puis l'Esprit m'enleva et me ramena en Chaldée auprès des captifs, en vision par l'Esprit de Dieu. Et la vision que j'avais eue, s'évanouit,
25 And I spoke to the exile[s] all [the] words of Yahweh which he had shown me.
et je redis aux captifs toutes les paroles de l'Éternel qu'Il m'avait révélées.
