Ezekiel 1
1 And it was - in thirty year in the fourth [month] on [day] five of the month and I [was] in among the exile[s] at [the] river of Kebar they were opened the heavens and I saw visions of God.
Or il arriva en la trentième année, au quatrième mois, au cinquième jour du mois, que lorsque j’étais au milieu des captifs, près du fleuve de Chobar, les deux furent ouverts, et je vis les visions de Dieu.
2 On [day] five of the month it [was] the year fifth of [the] exile of the king Jehoiachin.
Le cinquième du mois, c’est la cinquième année de la transmigration du roi Joachim,
3 Expressly it came [the] word of Yahweh to Ezekiel [the] son of Buzi the priest in [the] land of [the] Chaldeans at [the] river of Kebar and it was on him there [the] hand of Yahweh.
La parole du Seigneur fut adressée à Ezéchiel, le prêtre, fils de Buzi, dans la terre des Chaldéens, près du fleuve de Chobar, et là fut sur lui la main du Seigneur.
4 And I saw and there! a wind of storm [was] coming from the north a cloud great and fire flashing and brightness [belonged] to it all around and [was] from [the] middle of it like [the] appearance of shining substance from [the] middle of the fire.
Et je vis, et voilà qu’un vent de tourbillon venait de l’aquilon; et une grande nuée, et un feu tournoyant, et une lumière éclatante tout autour, et du milieu, c’est-à-dire du milieu du feu, brillait comme une espèce de succin;
5 And [was] from [the] middle of it a likeness of four living creatures and this [was] appearance their a likeness of a human [belonged] to them.
Et au milieu du feu la ressemblance ressemblance de quatre animaux; et voici leur aspect: la ressemblance d’un homme.
6 And four faces [belonged] to one and four wings [belonged] to one of them.
Chacun d’eux avait quatre faces, et chacun d’eux quatre ailes.
7 And feet their [was] a foot straight and [the] sole of feet their [was] like [the] sole of [the] foot of a calf and [they were] gleaming like [the] appearance of bronze burnished.
Leurs pieds étaient droits, et la plante de leurs pieds comme la plante du pied d’un veau, et il sortait d’eux des étincelles ayant l’apparence de l’airain le plus brillant.
8 (And [the] hands of *Q(K)*) a human [were] under wings their on [the] four sides their and faces their and wings their [belonged] to [the] four of them.
Et des mains d’hommes étaient sous leurs ailes aux quatre côtés; et ils avaient des faces et des ailes aux quatre côtés.
9 [were] touching Each sister its wings their not they turned when moved they each to [the] side of face its they moved.
Et les ailes de l’un étaient jointes à celles de l’autre; ils ne se retournaient pas lorsqu’ils marchaient; mais chacun d’eux allait devant sa face.
10 And [the] likeness of faces their [was the] face of a human and [the] face of a lion to the right [side] [belonged] to [the] four of them and [the] face of an ox from the left [side] [belonged] to [the] four of them and [the] face of an eagle [belonged] to [the] four of them.
Quant à la ressemblance de leur visage, c’était une face d’homme et une face de lion, à la droite des quatre; mais une face de bœuf à la gauche des quatre, et une face d’aigle au-dessus des quatre.
11 And faces their and wings their [were] spread out from to above each two [wings] [were] touching each and two [wings] [were] covering bodies their.
Leurs faces et leurs ailes s’étendaient en haut: ils se tenaient l’un l’autre par deux de leurs ailes, et ils couvraient leur corps par les deux autres;
12 And each to [the] side of face its they moved to where it was there the spirit [about] to go they moved not they turned when moved they.
Et chacun d’eux marchait devant sa face; là où était l’impétuosité de l’esprit, là ils allaient; et ils ne se retournaient pas lorsqu’ils marchaient.
13 And [the] likeness of the living creatures appearance their [was] like coals of fire burning like [the] appearance of torches it [was] moving about between the living creatures and brightness [belonged] to the fire and from the fire [was] coming out lightning.
Et la ressemblance des animaux et leur aspect étaient comme un feu de charbons ardents et comme un aspect de lampes. Voici ce qu’on voyait courir au milieu des animaux: l’éclat d’un feu, et la foudre sortant du feu.
14 And the living creatures they were running and they were returning like [the] appearance of lightning.
Et les animaux allaient et revenaient, comme la foudre étincelante.
15 And I saw the living creatures and there! a wheel one [was] on the ground beside the living creatures for [the] four faces its.
Et comme je regardais les animaux, apparut sur la terre, près des animaux, une roue ayant quatre faces;
16 [the] appearance of The wheels and construction their [was] like [the] appearance of chrysolite and a likeness one [belonged] to [the] four of them and appearance their and construction their [was] just as it was the wheel in [the] middle of the wheel.
Et l’aspect des roues et leur structure étaient comme la vue de la mer, et toutes quatre se ressemblaient: et leur aspect et leur structure étaient comme ceux d’une roue qui est au milieu d’une autre roue.
17 On [the] four sides their when moved they they moved not they turned when moved they.
Elles allaient constamment par leurs quatre côtés, et elles ne se retournaient pas lorsqu’elles marchaient.
18 And rims their and height [belonged] to them and fear [belonged] to them and rims their [were] full of eyes all around to [the] four of them.
Les roues avaient aussi une étendue, une hauteur et un aspect horrible; et tout le corps des quatre roues était plein d’yeux tout autour.
19 And when moved the living creatures they moved the wheels beside them and when were lifted up the living creatures from on the ground they were lifted up the wheels.
Et lorsque les animaux marchaient, marchaient pareillement aussi les roues près d’eux; et lorsque les animaux s’élevaient de terre, s’élevaient en même temps aussi les roues.
20 To where it was there the spirit [about] to go they moved there towards the spirit to go and the wheels they were lifted up close by them for [the] spirit of the living creature [was] in the wheels.
Partout où allait l’esprit, là allant l’esprit, les roues aussi pareillement s’élevaient en le suivant. Car l’esprit de vie était dans les roues.
21 When moved they they moved and when stood still they they stood still and when were lifted up they from on the ground they were lifted up the wheels close by them for [the] spirit of the living creature [was] in the wheels.
Lorsque les animaux allaient, les roues allaient; lorsqu’ils s’arrêtaient, elles s’arrêtaient; lorsqu’ils s’élevaient de terre, pareillement s’élevaient aussi les roues, en les suivant; parce que l’esprit de vie était en elles.
22 And a likeness [was] above [the] heads of the living creature an expanse like [the] appearance of frost awesome spread out above heads their from to above.
Et une ressemblance du firmament était au-dessus de la tête des animaux, comme l’aspect d’un cristal horrible et étendu en haut sur leurs têtes.
23 And under the expanse wings their [were] straight each to sister its [belonged] to each two [wings] covering them [belonged] to each two [wings] covering them bodies their.
Mais sous le firmament, leurs ailes étaient droites l’une vis-à-vis de l’autre; l’un avec deux de ses ailes voilait son corps, et l’autre semblablement se voilait.
24 And I heard [the] sound of wings their like [the] sound of waters many like [the] sound of [the] Almighty when moved they [the] sound of a rainstorm like [the] sound of an army when stood still they they let drop wings their.
Et j’entendais le bruit de leurs ailes comme le bruit des grandes eaux, comme la voix du Dieu très haut: quand ils marchaient, c’était comme le bruit d’une grande multitude, comme le bruit d’un camp; et quand ils s’arrêtaient, leurs ailes s’abaissaient.
25 And it came a sound above the expanse which [was] above head their when stood still they they let drop wings their.
Car lorsque la voix se faisait entendre au-dessus du firmament qui était sur leurs têtes, ils s’arrêtaient et baissaient leurs ailes.
26 And [was] from above the expanse which [was] above head their like [the] appearance of a stone of sapphire [the] likeness of a throne and [was] on [the] likeness of the throne a likeness like [the] appearance of a human on it from to above.
Et sur ce firmament qui était suspendu au-dessus de leurs têtes, c’était comme l’aspect d’un saphir ressemblant à un trône; et sur cette ressemblance d’un trône, une ressemblance comme l’aspect d’un homme dessus.
27 And I saw - like [the] appearance of a shining substance like [the] appearance of fire within to it [was] all around from [the] appearance of hips his and upwards and from [the] appearance of hips his and downwards I saw like [the] appearance of fire and brightness of him [was] all around.
Et je vis comme une espèce de succin, comme l’apparence d’un feu, au dedans de lui tout autour; depuis ses reins et au-dessus, et depuis ses reins jusqu’en bas, je vis comme une espèce de feu, resplendissant tout autour.
28 Like [the] appearance of rainbow which it is in the cloud[s] on [the] day of rain so [the] appearance of the brightness all around that [was] [the] appearance of [the] likeness of [the] glory of Yahweh and I saw [it] and I fell on face my and I heard a voice speaking.
Je vis comme l’aspect de l’arc, lorsqu’il est dans une nuée au jour de la pluie; tel était l’aspect de la splendeur tout autour.
