Exodus 8
1 And he said Yahweh to Moses go to Pharaoh and you will say to him thus he says Yahweh let go people my so they may serve me.
Da sa Herren til Moses: Gå inn til Farao og si til ham: Så sier Herren: La mitt folk fare, så de kan tjene mig!
2 And if [are] refusing you to let [them] go here! I [am] about to strike all territory your with frogs.
Dersom du nekter å la dem fare, da vil jeg plage hele ditt land med frosk.
3 And it will swarm the River frogs and they will go up and they will go in house your and in [the] chamber of lying down your and on bed your and in [the] house of servants your and on people your and in ovens your and in kneading troughs your.
Og elven skal vrimle av frosk, og de skal krype op og komme inn i ditt hus og i ditt sengkammer og op i din seng og i dine tjeneres hus og på ditt folk og i dine bakerovner og i dine deigtrau.
4 And on you and on people your and on all servants your they will go up the frogs.
Ja, på dig og på ditt folk og på alle dine tjenere skal froskene krype op.
5 And he said Yahweh to Moses say to Aaron stretch out hand your with staff your over the rivers over the canals and over the ponds and bring up the frogs on [the] land of Egypt.
Og Herren sa til Moses: Si til Aron: Rekk ut din hånd med din stav over elvene, over kanalene og over sjøene, og la froskene komme op over Egyptens land!
6 And he stretched out Aaron hand his over [the] waters of Egypt and it went up the frog[s] and it covered [the] land of Egypt.
Og Aron rakte ut sin hånd over Egyptens vann, og froskene kom op og dekket hele Egyptens land.
7 And they did thus the magicians by enchantments their and they brought up the frogs on [the] land of Egypt.
Men tegnsutleggerne gjorde det samme med sine hemmelige kunster og lot froskene komme op over Egyptens land.
8 And he summoned Pharaoh Moses and Aaron and he said pray to Yahweh so may he remove the frogs from me and from people my and I will let go the people so they may sacrifice to Yahweh.
Da kalte Farao Moses og Aron til sig og sa: Bed til Herren at han vil ta froskene bort fra mig og mitt folk! Da til jeg la folket fare, sa de kan ofre til Herren.
9 And he said Moses to Pharaoh honor yourself over me to when? - will I pray for you and for servants your and for people your to cut off the frogs from you and from houses your only in the River they will remain.
Og Moses sa til Farao: Ha selv den ære å si når jeg skal bede for dig og dine tjenere og ditt folk at froskene må bli drevet bort fra dig og dine hus, så de bare blir tilbake i elven.
10 And he said to tomorrow and he said according to word your so that you may know that there not [is] like Yahweh God our.
Han svarte: Imorgen. Da sa Moses: La det bli som du sier, forat du kan kjenne at det ikke er nogen som Herren vår Gud.
11 And they will depart the frogs from you and from houses your and from servants your and from people your only in the River they will remain.
Froskene skal vike fra dig og dine hus og fra dine tjenere og ditt folk; bare i elven skal de bli tilbake.
12 And he went out Moses and Aaron from with Pharaoh and he cried out Moses to Yahweh on [the] matter of the frogs which he had appointed for Pharaoh.
Så gikk Moses og Aron ut igjen fra Farao, og Moses ropte til Herren for froskenes skyld som han hadde ført over Farao.
13 And he did Yahweh according to [the] word of Moses and they died the frogs from the houses from the villages and from the fields.
Og Herren gjorde som Moses hadde sagt, og froskene som var i husene og gårdene og på markene, døde bort;
14 And people piled up them heaps heaps and it stank the land.
og de samlet dem i dyngevis, og landet blev fylt med stank.
15 And he saw Pharaoh that it had come the respite and he made heavy heart his and not he listened to them just as he had said Yahweh.
Men da Farao så at han hadde fått luft, gjorde han sitt hjerte hårdt og hørte ikke på dem, således som Herren hadde sagt.
16 And he said Yahweh to Moses say to Aaron stretch out staff your and strike [the] dust of the earth and it will become gnats in all [the] land of Egypt.
Da sa Herren til Moses: Si til Aron: Rekk ut din stav og slå i støvet på jorden, så skal det bli til mygg i hele Egyptens land.
17 And they did so and he stretched out Aaron hand his with staff his and he struck [the] dust of the ground and it was the gnat[s] on humankind and on the livestock all [the] dust of the ground it was gnats in all [the] land of Egypt.
Og de gjorde således; Aron rakte ut sin hånd med sin stav og slo i støvet på jorden, og myggene kom både på folk og fe; alt støvet på jorden blev til mygg i hele Egyptens land.
18 And they did thus the magicians by enchantments their to bring forth the gnats and not they were able and it was the gnat[s] on humankind and on the livestock.
Tegnsutleggerne gjorde likeså med sine hemmelige kunster; de søkte å få mygg frem, men kunde ikke. Og myggene blev sittende på folk og på fe.
19 And they said the magicians to Pharaoh [is] [the] finger of God it and it was strong [the] heart of Pharaoh and not he listened to them just as he had said Yahweh.
Da sa tegnsutleggerne til Farao: Dette er Guds finger. Men Faraos hjerte var og blev forherdet, og han hørte ikke på dem, således som Herren hadde sagt.
20 And he said Yahweh to Moses rise early in the morning and present yourself before Pharaoh there! [he is] going out the water towards and you will say to him thus he says Yahweh let go people my so they may serve me.
Da sa Herren til Moses: Stå tidlig op imorgen, og still dig frem for Farao når han går ned til elven, og si til ham: Så sier Herren: La mitt folk fare, så de kan tjene mig!
21 That except not you [are] letting go people my here I [am] about to send on you and on servants your and on people your and on houses your the swarm and they will be full [the] houses of Egypt the swarm and also the ground which they [are] on it.
For dersom du ikke lar mitt folk fare, da sender jeg fluesvermer over dig og dine tjenere og ditt folk og dine hus, og egypternes hus skal fylles av fluesvermene, ja endog jorden de står på.
22 And I will separate on the day that [the] land of Goshen which people my [is] standing on it to not to be there a swarm so that you may know that I [am] Yahweh in [the] midst of the land.
Men på den dag vil jeg undta Gosen, hvor mitt folk bor, så det ikke skal være fluesvermer der; da skal du kjenne at jeg, Herren, er midt i landet.
23 And I will make a ransom between people my and between people your to tomorrow it will happen the sign this.
For jeg vil frelse mitt folk og gjøre forskjell på mitt folk og ditt folk; imorgen skal dette tegn skje.
24 And he did Yahweh so and it came a swarm massive [the] house of towards Pharaoh and [the] house of servants his and in all [the] land of Egypt it was ruined the land because of the swarm.
Og Herren gjorde som han hadde sagt, og det kom svære fluesvermer i Faraos hus og i hans tjeneres hus; i hele Egypten blev landet herjet av fluesvermer.
25 And he summoned Pharaoh Moses and Aaron and he said go sacrifice to God your in the land.
Da kalte Farao Moses og Aron til sig og sa: Gå og ofre til eders Gud her i landet!
26 And he said Moses not [is] established to do thus for [the] abomination of Egypt we will sacrifice to Yahweh God our here! we will sacrifice [the] abomination of Egypt to eyes their and not will they stone? us.
Men Moses sa: Det er ikke rådelig å gjøre så; for det vi ofrer til Herren vår Gud, er en vederstyggelighet for egypterne; om vi nu ofret for egypternes øine det som er en vederstyggelighet for dem, vilde de da ikke stene oss?
27 A journey of three days we will go in the wilderness and we will sacrifice to Yahweh God our just as he says to us.
Tre dagsreiser vil vi gå ut i ørkenen og ofre til Herren vår Gud, således som han byder oss.
28 And he said Pharaoh I I will let go you and you will sacrifice to Yahweh God your in the wilderness only certainly not you must be far away to go pray for me.
Da sa Farao: Jeg vil la eder fare, så I kan ofre til Herren eders Gud i ørkenen; men I må ikke dra langt bort. Bed for mig!
29 And he said Moses here! I [am] about to go out from with you and I will pray to Yahweh and he will turn aside the swarm from Pharaoh from servants his and from people his tomorrow only may not he repeat Pharaoh to deceive to not to let go the people to sacrifice to Yahweh.
Moses svarte: Se, jeg går nu ut og vil bede til Herren, og imorgen skal fluesvermene vike bort fra Farao, fra hans tjenere og fra hans folk; bare nu Farao ikke mere vil bruke svik, men la folket fare, så de kan ofre til Herren.
30 And he went out Moses from with Pharaoh and he prayed to Yahweh.
Så gikk Moses ut fra Farao og bad til Herren.
31 And he did Yahweh according to [the] word of Moses and he turned aside the swarm from Pharaoh from servants his and from people his not it remained one.
Og Herren gjorde som Moses bad, og lot fluesvermene vike bort fra Farao, fra hans tjenere og fra hans folk; det blev ikke én igjen.
32 And he made heavy Pharaoh heart his also at the time this and not he let go the people.
Men Farao forherdet sitt hjerte også denne gang; han lot ikke folket fare.
