Exodus 40
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Hierauf gebot der HERR dem Mose folgendes:
2 On [the] day of the month first on [day] one of the month you will set up [the] tabernacle of [the] tent of meeting.
»Am ersten Tage des ersten Monats sollst du die Wohnung des Offenbarungszeltes aufschlagen,
3 And you will put there [the] ark of the testimony and you will cover over the ark the curtain.
die Lade mit dem Gesetz hineinstellen und den Vorhang vor der Lade aufhängen!
4 And you will bring the table and you will arrange arrangement its and you will bring the lampstand and you will lift up lamps its.
Dann sollst du den Tisch hineinbringen, die erforderlichen (Schaubrotschichten) auf ihm zurechtlegen, auch den Leuchter hineinbringen und die zu ihm gehörigen Lampen aufsetzen!
5 And you will put [the] altar of gold for incense before [the] ark of the testimony and you will put [the] screen of the entrance of the tabernacle.
Dann stelle den goldenen Räucheraltar vor (den Vorhang vor der) Gesetzeslade und hänge den Vorhang am Eingang zur Wohnung auf!
6 And you will put [the] altar of the burnt offering before [the] entrance of [the] tabernacle of [the] tent of meeting.
Hierauf stelle den Brandopferaltar vor dem Eingang zur Wohnung des Offenbarungszeltes auf
7 And you will put the laver between [the] tent of meeting and between the altar and you will put there water.
und setze das Becken zwischen das Offenbarungszelt und den Altar und tu Wasser hinein!
8 And you will put the courtyard all around and you will put [the] screen of [the] gate of the courtyard.
Weiter laß den Vorhof ringsum aufrichten und den Vorhang am Eingang des Vorhofs anbringen!
9 And you will take [the] oil of anointing and you will anoint the tabernacle and all that [is] in it and you will consecrate it and all articles its and it will be a holy thing.
Dann nimm das Salböl und salbe die Wohnung nebst allem, was sich darin befindet: weihe sie dadurch samt allen ihren Geräten, damit sie heilig sei!
10 And you will anoint [the] altar of the burnt offering and all articles its and you will consecrate the altar and it will be the altar holiness of holiness.
Ebenso salbe den Brandopferaltar samt allen seinen Geräten und weihe so den Altar, damit er hochheilig sei!
11 And you will anoint the laver and base its and you will consecrate it.
Auch das Becken samt seinem Gestell mußt du salben und es dadurch heiligen!
12 And you will bring near Aaron and sons his to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting and you will wash them with water.
Hierauf laß Aaron und seine Söhne an den Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes herantreten und laß sie eine Abwaschung mit Wasser an sich vornehmen!
13 And you will clothe Aaron [the] garments of holiness and you will anoint him and you will consecrate him and he will serve as a priest me.
Sodann laß Aaron die heiligen Kleider anlegen und salbe ihn und weihe ihn so zur Ausübung des Priesterdienstes für mich!
14 And sons his you will bring near and you will clothe them tunics.
Ebenso laß seine Söhne herantreten und die Unterkleider anziehen;
15 And you will anoint them just as you anointed father their and they will serve as priests me and it will become to be for them anointing their a priesthood of perpetuity to generations their.
dann salbe sie, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, damit sie mir als Priester dienen! Und diese Salbung soll ihnen das Priestertum für ewige Zeiten von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht verleihen!«
16 And he did Moses according to all that he had commanded Yahweh him so he did.
Da Mose alles genau nach den Anordnungen des HERRN ausführte,
17 And it was in the month first in the year second on [day] one of the month it was set up the tabernacle.
wurde die Wohnung im zweiten Jahr (nach dem Auszuge aus Ägypten), am ersten Tage des ersten Monats aufgeschlagen.
18 And he set up Moses the tabernacle and he put bases its and he set up frames its and he put bars its and he set up pillars its.
Als Mose damals die Wohnung aufrichten ließ, legte er ihre Füße fest, stellte die zugehörigen Bretter darauf, brachte ihre Riegel an und richtete ihre Säulen auf;
19 And he spread out the tent over the tabernacle and he put [the] covering of the tent over it from to above just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
dann breitete er das Zeltdach über der Wohnung aus und legte die Schutzdecke des Zeltes oben darüber, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.
20 And he took and he put the testimony into the ark and he put the poles on the ark and he put the atonement cover on the ark from to above.
Dann nahm er die (beiden) Gesetzestafeln und legte sie in die Lade, steckte die Tragstangen an die Lade und legte die Deckplatte oben auf die Lade;
21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle and he set up [the] curtain of the screen and he covered over [the] ark of the testimony just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
alsdann brachte er die Lade in die Wohnung hinein und hängte den abschließenden Vorhang so auf, daß er die Lade mit dem Gesetz abschloß, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.
22 And he put the table in [the] tent of meeting on [the] side of the tabernacle north-ward from [the] outside of the curtain.
Darauf stellte er den Tisch in das Offenbarungszelt an die Nordseite der Wohnung, außerhalb des Vorhangs,
23 And he arranged on it an arrangement of bread before Yahweh just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
und legte auf ihm die Schichten der Schaubrote vor dem HERRN zurecht, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.
24 And he put the lampstand in [the] tent of meeting opposite to the table on [the] side of the tabernacle south-ward.
Dann stellte er den Leuchter in das Offenbarungszelt dem Tisch gegenüber, an die Südseite der Wohnung,
25 And he lifted up the lamps before Yahweh just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
und setzte die Lampen vor dem HERRN auf, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.
26 And he put [the] altar of gold in [the] tent of meeting before the curtain.
Darauf stellte er den goldenen Altar in das Offenbarungszelt vor den Vorhang
27 And he made smoke on it incense of perfume just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
und verbrannte wohlriechendes Räucherwerk auf ihm, wie der HERR ihm geboten hatte.
28 And he set up [the] screen of the entrance of the tabernacle.
Dann hängte er den Vorhang für den Eingang der Wohnung auf,
29 And [the] altar of the burnt offering he set up [the] entrance of [the] tabernacle of [the] tent of meeting and he offered up on it the burnt offering and the grain offering just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
stellte den Brandopferaltar vor den Eingang der Wohnung des Offenbarungszeltes und brachte das Brandopfer und das Speisopfer auf ihm dar, wie der HERR ihm geboten hatte.
30 And he put the laver between [the] tent of meeting and between the altar and he put there water for washing.
Dann ließ er den Kessel zwischen dem Offenbarungszelt und dem Altar aufstellen und Wasser für die Waschungen hineintun,
31 And they washed from it Moses and Aaron and sons his hands their and feet their.
damit Mose und Aaron nebst dessen Söhnen sich die Hände und Füße daraus wuschen;
32 When went they into [the] tent of meeting and when drew near they to the altar they washed just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
sooft sie in das Offenbarungszelt hineingingen oder an den Altar herantraten, wuschen sie sich daraus, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.
33 And he set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar and he put [the] screen of [the] gate of the courtyard and he finished Moses the work.
Schließlich richtete er den Vorhof rings um die Wohnung und um den Altar auf und brachte den Vorhang am Tor des Vorhofs an.
34 And it covered the cloud [the] tent of meeting and [the] glory of Yahweh it filled the tabernacle.
Als Mose so das ganze Werk vollendet hatte, verhüllte die Wolke das Offenbarungszelt, und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllte die Wohnung,
35 And not he was able Moses to go into [the] tent of meeting for it had settled down over it the cloud and [the] glory of Yahweh it had filled the tabernacle.
so daß Mose nicht in das Offenbarungszelt hineingehen konnte, weil die Wolke sich auf dasselbe niedergelassen hatte und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN die Wohnung erfüllte.
36 And when was taken up the cloud from over the tabernacle they set out [the] people of Israel in all journeyings their.
Sooft sich nun die Wolke von der Wohnung erhob, brachen die Israeliten auf während der ganzen Dauer ihrer Wanderungen;
37 And if not it was taken up the cloud and not they set out until [the] day was taken up it.
wenn aber die Wolke sich nicht erhob, brachen sie nicht auf bis zu dem Tage, wo sie sich erhob.
38 For [the] cloud of Yahweh [was] over the tabernacle by day and fire it was night on it to [the] eyes of all [the] house of Israel in all journeyings their.
Denn bei Tage lag die Wolke des HERRN über der Wohnung; bei Nacht aber war sie, mit Feuerschein erfüllt, dem ganzen Hause Israel sichtbar während der ganzen Dauer ihrer Wanderzüge.
