< Exodus 36 >
1 And he will do Bezalel and Oholiab and every - person skillful of heart whom he has put Yahweh skill and understanding in them to know to do all [the] work of [the] service of the holy place to all that he has commanded Yahweh.
And Beseleel wrought, and Eliab and every one wise in understanding, to whom was given wisdom and knowledge, to understand to do all the works according to the holy offices, according to all things which the Lord appointed.
2 And he called Moses to Bezalel and to Oholiab and to every person skillful of heart whom he had put Yahweh skill in heart his every [one] whom it lifted him heart his to draw near to the work to do it.
And Moses called Beseleel and Eliab, and all that had wisdom, to whom God gave knowledge in [their] heart, and all who were freely willing to come forward to the works, to perform them.
3 And they received from to before Moses all the contribution which they had brought [the] people of Israel for [the] work of [the] service of the holy place to do it and they they brought to him still a freewill offering in the morning in the morning.
And they received from Moses all the offerings, which the children of Israel brought for all the works of the sanctuary to do them; and they continued to receive the gifts brought, from those who brought them in the morning.
4 And they came all the skillful [people] who were doing all [the] work of the holy place person person from work his which they [were] doing.
And there came all the wise men who wrought the works of the sanctuary, each according to his own work, which they wrought.
5 And they said to Moses saying [are] multiplying the people to bring more than sufficiency of the service for the work which he has commanded Yahweh to do it.
And one said to Moses, The people bring an abundance [too great] in proportion to all the works which the Lord has appointed [them] to do.
6 And he commanded Moses and they caused to pass a proclamation in the camp saying a man and a woman may not they make again work for [the] contribution of the holy place and it was restrained the people from bringing.
And Moses commanded, and proclaimed in the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman any longer labour for the offerings of the sanctuary; and the people were restrained from bringing any more.
7 And the work it was sufficiency their for all the work to do it and it was more than enough.
And they had materials sufficient for making the furniture, and they left some besides.
8 And they made every [person] skillful of heart among [those who] did the work the tabernacle ten curtains fine linen twisted and violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet cherubim [the] work of a skillful worker he made them.
And every wise one amongst those that wrought made the robes of the holy places, which belong to Aaron the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses.
9 [the] length of The curtain one [was] eight and twenty by the cubit and [the] breadth [was] four by the cubit the curtain one size one [belonged] to all the curtains.
And he made the ephod of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
10 And he joined five of the curtains one to one and five curtains he joined one to one.
And the plates were divided, the threads of gold, so as to interweave with the blue and purple, and with the spun scarlet, and the fine linen twined, they made it a woven work;
11 And he made loops of violet stuff on [the] edge of the curtain one from an end in the joined set thus he did on [the] edge of the curtain outermost in the joined set second.
shoulder-pieces joined from both sides, a work woven by mutual twisting of the parts into one another.
12 Fifty loops he made on the curtain one and fifty loops he made on [the] edge of the curtain which [was] in the joined set second [were] opposite the loops one to one.
They made it of the same material according to the making of it, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined, as the Lord commanded Moses;
13 And he made fifty hooks of gold and he joined the curtains one to one with the hooks and it was the tabernacle one.
and they made the two emerald stones clasped together and set in gold, graven and cut after the cutting of a seal with the names of the children of Israel;
14 And he made curtains of goat hair into a tent over the tabernacle one [plus] ten curtains he made them.
and he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, [as] stones of memorial of the children of Israel, as the Lord appointed Moses.
15 [the] length of The curtain one [was] thirty by the cubit and [was] four cubits [the] breadth of the curtain one size one [belonged] to one [plus] ten curtains.
And they made the oracle, a work woven with embroidery, according to the work of the ephod, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
16 And he joined five of the curtains alone and six of the curtains alone.
They made the oracle square [and] double, the length of a span, and the breadth of a span, —double.
17 And he made loops fifty on [the] edge of the curtain outermost in the joined set and fifty loops he made on [the] edge of the curtain the joined set second.
And there was interwoven with it a woven work of four rows of stones, a series of stones, the first row, a sardius and topaz and emerald;
18 And he made hooks of bronze fifty to join together the tent to be one.
and the second row, a carbuncle and sapphire and jasper;
19 And he made a covering for the tent skins of rams dyed red and a covering of skins of dolphins from to above.
and the third row, a ligure and agate and amethyst;
20 And he made the frames for the tabernacle wood of acacia standing upright.
and the fourth row a chrysolite and beryl and onyx set round about with gold, and fastened with gold.
21 [was] ten (Cubits *L(abh)*) [the] length of the frame and [was] a cubit and [the] half of cubit [the] breadth of the frame one.
And the stones were twelve according to the names of the children of Israel, graven according to their names like seals, each according to his own name for the twelve tribes.
22 Two hands [belonged] to the frame the one joined one to one thus he did for all [the] frames of the tabernacle.
And they made on the oracle turned wreaths, wreathen work, of pure gold,
23 And he made the frames for the tabernacle twenty frames for [the] side of [the] south south-ward.
and they made two golden circlets and two golden rings.
24 And forty bases of silver he made under twenty the frames two bases [were] under the frame one for [the] two hands its and two bases [were] under the frame one for [the] two hands its.
And they put the two golden rings on both the [upper] corners of the oracle;
25 And for [the] side of the tabernacle second to [the] side of [the] north he made twenty frames.
and they put the golden wreaths on the rings on both sides of the oracle, and the two wreaths into the two couplings.
26 And forty bases their silver two bases [were] under the frame one and two bases [were] under the frame one.
And they put them on the two circlets, and they put them on the shoulders of the ephod opposite [each other] in front.
27 And for [the] innermost parts of the tabernacle west-ward he made six frames.
And they made two golden rings, and put them on the two projections on the top of the oracle, and on the top of the hinder part of the ephod within.
28 And two frames he made for [the] corners of the tabernacle in the innermost parts.
And they made two golden rings, and put them on both the shoulders of the ephod under it, in front by the coupling above the connexion of the ephod.
29 And they were twins from to downwards and together they were complete to top its into the ring one thus he did for [the] two of them for [the] two the corners.
And he fastened the oracle by the rings that were on it to the rings of the ephod, which were fastened with [a string] of blue, joined together with the woven work of the ephod; that the oracle should not be loosed from the ephod, as the Lord commanded Moses.
30 And they were eight frames and bases their [were] silver six-teen bases two bases two bases [were] under the frame one.
And they made the tunic under the ephod, woven work, all of blue.
31 And he made bars of wood of acacia five [bars] for [the] frames of [the] side of the tabernacle one.
And the opening of the tunic in the midst woven closely together, the opening having a fringe round about, that it might not be tore.
32 And five bars for [the] frames of [the] side of the tabernacle second and five bars for [the] frames of the tabernacle for the innermost parts west-ward.
And they made on the border of the tunic below pomegranates as of a flowering pomegranate tree, of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
33 And he made the bar middle to pass through in [the] middle of the frames from the end to the end.
And they made golden bells, and put the bells on the border of the tunic round about between the pomegranates:
34 And the frames he overlaid gold and rings their he made gold holders for the bars and he overlaid the bars gold.
a golden bell and a pomegranate on the border of the tunic round about, for the ministration, as the Lord commanded Moses.
35 And he made the curtain violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet and fine linen twisted [the] work of a skillful worker he made it cherubim.
And they made vestments of fine linen, a woven work, for Aaron and his sons,
36 And he made for it four pillars of acacia and he overlaid them gold hooks their [were] gold and he cast for them four bases of silver.
and the tires of fine linen, and the mitre of fine linen, and the drawers of fine linen twined;
37 And he made a screen for [the] entrance of the tent violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet and fine linen twisted [the] work of a worker in colors.
and their girdles of fine linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet spun, the work of an embroiderer, according as the Lord commanded Moses.
38 And pillars its five and hooks their and he overlaid tops their and bands their gold and bases their five [were] bronze.
And they made the golden plate, a dedicated thing of the sanctuary, of pure gold;
and he wrote upon it graven letters [as] of a seal, Holiness to the Lord.
And they put it on the border of blue, so that it should be on the mitre above, as the Lord commanded Moses.
