Exodus 34
1 And he said Yahweh to Moses cut out for yourself two tablets of stone like the former [tablets] and I will write on the tablets the words which they were on the tablets the former which you shattered.
Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se: “Hãy đục hai bảng đá như hai bảng trước. Ta sẽ viết lại những lời đã viết trên hai bảng con đập vỡ.
2 And be prepared to the morning and you will go up in the morning to [the] mountain of Sinai and you will station yourself for me there on [the] top of the mountain.
Chuẩn bị sẵn sàng để sáng mai lên Núi Si-nai, gặp Ta tại đỉnh núi.
3 And anyone not he will go up with you and also anyone may not he be seen on all the mountain also the sheep and the cattle may not they graze to [the] front of the mountain that.
Không một người nào được đi theo con; cũng không ai được lảng vảng quanh núi. Không được thả thú vật ăn cỏ gần núi.”
4 And he cut out two tablets of stone like the former [tablets] and he rose early Moses in the morning and he went up to [the] mountain of Sinai just as he had commanded Yahweh him and he took in hand his two tablets of stone.
Vậy, Môi-se đục hai bảng đá như hai bảng trước. Hôm sau ông dậy sớm, lên Núi Si-nai như Chúa Hằng Hữu đã dặn, cầm theo hai bảng đá.
5 And he came down Yahweh in the cloud and he stood with him there and he proclaimed [the] name of Yahweh.
Chúa Hằng Hữu giáng xuống trong đám mây và đứng bên ông.
6 And he passed by Yahweh - on face his and he proclaimed Yahweh - Yahweh a God compassionate and gracious long of anger and great of covenant loyalty (and faithfulness - *L(abh)*)
Chúa Hằng Hữu đi qua trước mặt Môi-se, tuyên hô danh hiệu: “Giê-hô-va! Ta là Chúa Hằng Hữu! Đức Chúa Trời có lòng thương xót, từ ái, chậm giận, đầy bác ái, và thành tín.
7 maintaining covenant loyalty to thousands forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin and certainly not he leaves unpunished visiting - [the] iniquity of parents on [the] children and on [the] children of children on a third generation and on a fourth generation.
Ta giữ lòng bác ái hàng nghìn đời; Ta sẽ tha thứ sự bất chính, vi phạm, và tội lỗi. Nhưng Ta không để kẻ phạm tội thoát hình phạt. Ta sẽ phạt con cháu họ đến ba bốn đời vì tội cha ông.”
8 And he hurried Moses and he bowed low [the] ground towards and he bowed down.
Môi-se vội vàng dập đầu xuống đất thờ lạy.
9 And he said if please I have found favor in view your O Lord let him go please [the] Lord in midst our for [is] a people stiff of neck it and you will forgive iniquity our and sin our and you will take as a possession us.
Ông thưa với Chúa: “Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, nếu con được Chúa đoái hoài, xin Chúa cùng đi với chúng con, dù dân này ương ngạnh. Xin Chúa thứ tha sự bất chính và tội lỗi chúng con, và chấp nhận chúng con làm dân của Chúa.”
10 And he said here! I [am] about to make a covenant before all people your I will do wonders which not they have been created in all the earth and among all the nations and it will see all the people which you [are] in midst its [the] work of Yahweh for [is] awesome it which I [am] about to do with you.
Chúa Hằng Hữu đáp: “Đây, Ta kết ước với con: Trước mắt dân này, Ta sẽ làm những phép lạ chưa hề thấy trên mặt đất; toàn dân Ít-ra-ên sẽ thấy những việc đáng sợ mà Chúa Hằng Hữu làm cho họ
11 Observe for yourself [that] which I [am] commanding you this day here I [am] about to drive out from before you the Amorite[s] and the Canaanite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
Nhưng mọi người phải nhớ tuân theo những điều Ta truyền dạy đây, rồi Ta sẽ đuổi các dân tộc A-mô-rít, Ca-na-an, Hê-tít, Phê-rết, Hê-vi, và Giê-bu, làm họ chạy dài trước mặt các ngươi.
12 Take heed to yourself lest you should make a covenant to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land which you [are] about to go to it lest he should become a snare in midst your.
Phải thận trọng, không được kết ước với các dân bản xứ, vì nếu làm vậy, họ sẽ sống chung và trở thành cạm bẫy dỗ dành các ngươi phạm tội.
13 For altars their you will pull down! and sacred pillars their you will break down! and Asherah poles its you will cut down!
Nhưng phải đập nát bàn thờ, trụ thờ, và thần tượng của họ.
14 For not you must bow down to a god another for Yahweh [is] jealous name his [is] a God jealous he.
Các ngươi không được thờ thần nào khác, vì Danh Ngài là Chúa Kỵ Tà. Đức Chúa Trời thật ghen trong mối liên hệ với các ngươi.
15 Lest you should make a covenant to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land and they will prostitute themselves - after gods their and they will sacrifice to gods their and someone will invite you and you will eat some of sacrifice his.
Tuyệt đối không được kết ước với người bản xứ, vì khi họ hành dâm chạy theo tà thần mình, cúng tế lễ vật, sẽ mời các ngươi ăn của cúng thần tượng.
16 And you will take some of daughters his for sons your and they will prostitute themselves daughters his after gods their and they will make prostitute [themselves] sons your after gods their.
Cũng đừng cưới con gái họ cho con trai mình, vì con gái họ vốn hành dâm, chạy theo các thần của họ, và sẽ xúi con trai các ngươi thờ lạy các thần ấy.
17 Gods of molten metal not you must make for yourself.
Các ngươi không được đúc thần tượng.
18 [the] festival of The unleavened bread you will keep seven days you will eat unleavened bread which I commanded you to [the] appointed time of [the] month of Abib for in [the] month of Abib you came out from Egypt.
Phải giữ lễ Bánh Không Men trong bảy ngày như Ta đã dạy con, vào những ngày đã định trong tháng giêng, là tháng Ít-ra-ên ra khỏi Ai Cập.
19 Every firstborn of a womb [belongs] to me and all livestock your it will be remembered [the] firstborn of an ox and a sheep.
Phải dâng các con đầu lòng cho Ta. Về thú vật như bò, chiên, dâng con đực đầu lòng.
20 And [the] firstborn of a donkey you will redeem with a sheep and if not you will redeem [it] and you will break neck its all [the] firstborn of sons your you will redeem and not people will present themselves face my empty.
Nếu là lừa, dâng một con chiên con để thay thế; nhưng nếu không thay thế, phải bẻ gãy cổ con lừa. Về con trưởng nam của các ngươi, tất cả phải được chuộc. Không ai ra mắt Ta với hai tay trắng.
21 Six days you will labor and on the day seventh you will rest at plowing time and at harvest time you will rest.
Phải nghỉ ngày Sa-bát, dù trong lúc đi cày hay trong mùa gặt, chỉ được làm việc sáu ngày.
22 And [the] festival of weeks you will celebrate for yourself [the] first-fruits of [the] harvest of wheat and [the] festival of the ingathering [the] circuit of the year.
Phải mừng Lễ Gặt Hái đầu mùa và Lễ Thu Hoạch vào cuối năm.
23 Three times in the year he will present himself every male your with [the] presence of the lord - Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
Vậy, mỗi năm ba lần, tất cả người nam Ít-ra-ên phải đến ra mắt Chúa Hằng Hữu.
24 For I will dispossess nations from before you and I will enlarge territory your and not he will covet anyone land your when going up you to present yourself with [the] presence of Yahweh God your three times in the year.
Sẽ không có ai tranh chiếm đất đai các ngươi trong dịp ra mắt Chúa Hằng Hữu hằng năm ba lần như thế, vì Ta sẽ đuổi các dân tộc khác đi, mở rộng bờ cõi lãnh thổ các ngươi.
25 Not you must slaughter with leaven [the] blood of sacrifice my and not it will remain overnight to the morning [the] sacrifice of [the] festival of the passover.
Không được dâng máu sinh tế lên Ta chung với bánh có men. Cũng không được để thịt sinh tế lễ Vượt Qua lại cho đến hôm sau.
26 [the] first of [the] first-fruits of Ground your you will bring [the] house of Yahweh God your not you will boil a kid in [the] milk of mother its.
Phải đem dâng vào nhà Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của ngươi các hoa quả đầu mùa chọn lọc. Không được nấu thịt dê con trong sữa mẹ nó.”
27 And he said Yahweh to Moses write for yourself the words these that on [the] mouth of - the words these I have made with you a covenant and with Israel.
Rồi Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se: “Ghi lại những điều Ta vừa ban bố, vì dựa trên những điều này, Ta lập giao ước với con và với Ít-ra-ên.”
28 And he was there with Yahweh forty day[s] and forty night[s] food not he ate and water not he drank and he wrote on the tablets [the] words of the covenant [the] ten the words.
Môi-se ở trên núi với Chúa Hằng Hữu trong bốn mươi ngày và bốn mươi đêm. Suốt thời gian này, ông không ăn cũng không uống. Chúa Hằng Hữu viết các quy ước, tức là mười điều răn, vào bảng đá.
29 And it was when came down Moses from [the] mountain of Sinai and [the] two [the] tablets of the testimony [were] in [the] hand of Moses when came down he from the mountain and Moses not he knew that it shone [the] skin of face his because had spoken he with him.
Sau đó, Môi-se xuống Núi Si-nai, tay cầm hai bảng đá, ông không biết rằng mặt ông sáng rực vì đã hầu chuyện Đức Chúa Trời.
30 And he saw Aaron and all [the] people of Israel Moses and there! it shone [the] skin of face his and they were afraid from drawing near to him.
Khi thấy mặt Môi-se sáng như vậy, A-rôn và toàn dân Ít-ra-ên sợ không dám đến gần.
31 And he summoned them Moses and they returned to him Aaron and all the leaders among the congregation and he spoke Moses to them.
Môi-se phải gọi A-rôn và các bậc lãnh đạo trong dân, họ mới dám đến nói chuyện với ông.
32 And after thus they drew near all [the] people of Israel and he commanded them all that he had spoken Yahweh with him on [the] mountain of Sinai.
Sau đó, toàn dân Ít-ra-ên cũng đến gần. Ông truyền lại cho họ các lệnh Chúa Hằng Hữu đã ban bố trên Núi Si-nai.
33 And he finished Moses from speaking with them and he put over face his a veil.
Khi đã truyền xong mọi điều, Môi-se lấy màn che mặt mình lại.
34 And when went Moses before Yahweh to speak with him he removed the veil until came out he and he came out and he spoke to [the] people of Israel [that] which he was commanded.
Nhưng mỗi khi đi hầu chuyện Chúa Hằng Hữu, ông tháo màn đeo mặt cho đến khi ông trở ra, và truyền lại cho dân những điều Chúa Hằng Hữu dạy bảo.
35 And they saw [the] people of Israel [the] face of Moses that it shone [the] skin of [the] face of Moses and he returned Moses the veil over face his until went he to speak with him.
Vì người Ít-ra-ên thấy mặt ông sáng rực, nên Môi-se phải lấy màn che mặt cho đến khi trở lại hầu chuyện Chúa Hằng Hữu.
