Exodus 34
1 And he said Yahweh to Moses cut out for yourself two tablets of stone like the former [tablets] and I will write on the tablets the words which they were on the tablets the former which you shattered.
Och HERREN sade till Mose: "Hugg ut åt dig två stentavlor, likadana som de förra voro, så vill jag skriva på tavlorna samma ord som stodo på de förra tavlorna, vilka du slog sönder.
2 And be prepared to the morning and you will go up in the morning to [the] mountain of Sinai and you will station yourself for me there on [the] top of the mountain.
Och var redo till i morgon, du skall då på morgonen stiga upp på Sinai berg och ställa dig på toppen av berget, mig till mötes,
3 And anyone not he will go up with you and also anyone may not he be seen on all the mountain also the sheep and the cattle may not they graze to [the] front of the mountain that.
men ingen må stiga upp med dig, och på hela berget för ingen annan visa sig; ej heller må får och fäkreatur gå i bet framemot detta berg."
4 And he cut out two tablets of stone like the former [tablets] and he rose early Moses in the morning and he went up to [the] mountain of Sinai just as he had commanded Yahweh him and he took in hand his two tablets of stone.
Och han högg ut två stentavlor likadana som de förra voro. Och bittida följande morgon begav sig Mose upp på Sinai berg, såsom HERREN hade bjudit honom, och tog de två stentavlorna med sig.
5 And he came down Yahweh in the cloud and he stood with him there and he proclaimed [the] name of Yahweh.
Då steg HERREN ned i molnskyn. Och han ställde sig där nära intill honom och åkallade HERRENS namn.
6 And he passed by Yahweh - on face his and he proclaimed Yahweh - Yahweh a God compassionate and gracious long of anger and great of covenant loyalty (and faithfulness - *L(abh)*)
Och HERREN gick förbi honom, där han stod, och utropade: "HERREN! HERREN! -- en Gud, barmhärtig och nådig, långmodig och stor i mildhet och trofasthet,
7 maintaining covenant loyalty to thousands forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin and certainly not he leaves unpunished visiting - [the] iniquity of parents on [the] children and on [the] children of children on a third generation and on a fourth generation.
som bevarar nåd mot tusenden, som förlåter missgärning och överträdelse och synd, men som ingalunda låter någon bliva ostraffad, utan hemsöker fädernas missgärning på barn och barnbarn och efterkommande i tredje och fjärde led."
8 And he hurried Moses and he bowed low [the] ground towards and he bowed down.
Då böjde Mose sig med hast ned mot jorden och tillbad
9 And he said if please I have found favor in view your O Lord let him go please [the] Lord in midst our for [is] a people stiff of neck it and you will forgive iniquity our and sin our and you will take as a possession us.
och sade: "Om jag har funnit nåd för dina ögon, Herre, så må Herren gå med oss. Ty väl är det ett hårdnackat folk, men du vill ju förlåta oss vår missgärning och synd och taga oss till din arvedel."
10 And he said here! I [am] about to make a covenant before all people your I will do wonders which not they have been created in all the earth and among all the nations and it will see all the people which you [are] in midst its [the] work of Yahweh for [is] awesome it which I [am] about to do with you.
Han svarade: "Välan, jag vill sluta ett förbund. Inför hela ditt folk skall jag göra under, sådana som icke hava blivit gjorda i något land eller bland något folk. Och hela det folk som du tillhör skall se att HERRENS gärningar äro underbara, de som jag skall göra med dig.
11 Observe for yourself [that] which I [am] commanding you this day here I [am] about to drive out from before you the Amorite[s] and the Canaanite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
Håll de bud som jag i dag giver dig. Se, jag skall förjaga för dig amoréerna, kananéerna, hetiterna, perisséerna, hivéerna och jebuséerna.
12 Take heed to yourself lest you should make a covenant to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land which you [are] about to go to it lest he should become a snare in midst your.
Tag dig till vara för att sluta förbund med inbyggarna i det land dit du kommer, och låt dem icke bliva till en snara bland eder.
13 For altars their you will pull down! and sacred pillars their you will break down! and Asherah poles its you will cut down!
Fastmer skolen I bryta ned deras altaren och slå sönder deras stoder och hugga ned deras Aseror.
14 For not you must bow down to a god another for Yahweh [is] jealous name his [is] a God jealous he.
Ja, du skall icke tillbedja någon annan gud, ty HERREN heter Nitälskare; en nitälskande Gud är han.
15 Lest you should make a covenant to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land and they will prostitute themselves - after gods their and they will sacrifice to gods their and someone will invite you and you will eat some of sacrifice his.
Du må icke sluta något förbund med landets inbyggare. Ty i trolös avfällighet löpa de efter sina gudar och offra åt sina gudar; och när de då inbjuda dig, kommer du att äta av deras offer;
16 And you will take some of daughters his for sons your and they will prostitute themselves daughters his after gods their and they will make prostitute [themselves] sons your after gods their.
du tager ock deras döttrar till hustrur åt dina söner, och när då deras döttrar i avfällighet löpa efter sina gudar, skola de förleda dina söner till att likaledes löpa efter deras gudar.
17 Gods of molten metal not you must make for yourself.
Gjutna gudar skall du icke göra åt dig.
18 [the] festival of The unleavened bread you will keep seven days you will eat unleavened bread which I commanded you to [the] appointed time of [the] month of Abib for in [the] month of Abib you came out from Egypt.
Det osyrade brödets högtid skall, du hålla: i sju dagar skall du äta osyrat bröd, såsom jag har bjudit dig, på den bestämda tiden i månaden Abib; ty i månaden Abib drog du ut ur Egypten.
19 Every firstborn of a womb [belongs] to me and all livestock your it will be remembered [the] firstborn of an ox and a sheep.
Allt det som öppnar moderlivet skall höra mig till, också allt hankön bland din boskap, som öppnar moderlivet, såväl av fäkreaturen som av småboskapen.
20 And [the] firstborn of a donkey you will redeem with a sheep and if not you will redeem [it] and you will break neck its all [the] firstborn of sons your you will redeem and not people will present themselves face my empty.
Men vad som bland åsnor öppnar moderlivet skall du lösa med ett får, och om du icke vill lösa det, skall du krossa nacken på det. Var förstfödd bland dina söner skall du läsa. Och ingen skall med tomma händer träda fram inför mitt ansikte.
21 Six days you will labor and on the day seventh you will rest at plowing time and at harvest time you will rest.
Sex dagar skall du arbeta, men på sjunde dagen skall du hålla vilodag; både under plöjningstiden och under skördetiden skall du hålla vilodag.
22 And [the] festival of weeks you will celebrate for yourself [the] first-fruits of [the] harvest of wheat and [the] festival of the ingathering [the] circuit of the year.
Och veckohögtiden skall du hålla, för förstlingen av veteskörden, så ock bärgningshögtiden, när året har gått till ända.
23 Three times in the year he will present himself every male your with [the] presence of the lord - Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
Tre gånger om året skall allt ditt mankön träda fram inför HERRENS, din herres, Israels Guds, ansikte.
24 For I will dispossess nations from before you and I will enlarge territory your and not he will covet anyone land your when going up you to present yourself with [the] presence of Yahweh God your three times in the year.
Ty jag skall fördriva folk för dig och utvidga ditt område; och ingen skall stå efter ditt land, när du drager upp, tre gånger om året, för att träda fram inför HERRENS, din Guds, ansikte.
25 Not you must slaughter with leaven [the] blood of sacrifice my and not it will remain overnight to the morning [the] sacrifice of [the] festival of the passover.
Du skall icke offra blodet av mitt slaktoffer jämte något som är syrat. Och påskhögtidens slaktoffer skall icke lämnas kvar över natten till morgonen.
26 [the] first of [the] first-fruits of Ground your you will bring [the] house of Yahweh God your not you will boil a kid in [the] milk of mother its.
Det första av din marks förstlingsfrukter skall du föra till HERRENS, din Guds, hus. Du skall icke koka en killing i dess moders mjölk."
27 And he said Yahweh to Moses write for yourself the words these that on [the] mouth of - the words these I have made with you a covenant and with Israel.
Och HERREN sade till Mose: "Teckna upp åt dig dessa ord; ty i enlighet med dessa ord har jag slutit ett förbund med dig och med Israel."
28 And he was there with Yahweh forty day[s] and forty night[s] food not he ate and water not he drank and he wrote on the tablets [the] words of the covenant [the] ten the words.
Och han blev kvar där hos HERREN i fyrtio dagar och fyrtio nätter, utan att äta och utan att dricka. Och han skrev på tavlorna förbundets ord, de tio orden.
29 And it was when came down Moses from [the] mountain of Sinai and [the] two [the] tablets of the testimony [were] in [the] hand of Moses when came down he from the mountain and Moses not he knew that it shone [the] skin of face his because had spoken he with him.
När sedan Mose steg ned från Sinai berg, och på vägen ned från berget hade vittnesbördets två tavlor med sig, visste han icke att hans ansiktes hy hade blivit strålande därav att han hade talat med honom.
30 And he saw Aaron and all [the] people of Israel Moses and there! it shone [the] skin of face his and they were afraid from drawing near to him.
Och när Aron och alla Israels barn sågo huru Moses ansiktes hy strålade, fruktade de för att komma honom nära.
31 And he summoned them Moses and they returned to him Aaron and all the leaders among the congregation and he spoke Moses to them.
Men Mose ropade till dem; då vände Aron och menighetens alla hövdingar tillbaka till honom, och Mose talade till dem.
32 And after thus they drew near all [the] people of Israel and he commanded them all that he had spoken Yahweh with him on [the] mountain of Sinai.
Därefter kommo alla Israels barn fram till honom, och han gav dem alla de bud som HERREN hade förkunnat för honom på Sinai berg.
33 And he finished Moses from speaking with them and he put over face his a veil.
Och när Mose hade slutat sitt tal till dem, hängde han ett täckelse för sitt ansikte.
34 And when went Moses before Yahweh to speak with him he removed the veil until came out he and he came out and he spoke to [the] people of Israel [that] which he was commanded.
Men så ofta Mose skulle träda inför HERRENS ansikte för att tala med honom, lade han av täckelset, till dess han åter gick ut. Och sedan han hade kommit ut, förkunnade han för Israels barn det som hade blivit honom bjudet.
35 And they saw [the] people of Israel [the] face of Moses that it shone [the] skin of [the] face of Moses and he returned Moses the veil over face his until went he to speak with him.
Då sågo Israels barn var gång huru Moses ansiktes by strålade, och Mose hängde då åter täckelset över sitt ansikte, till dess han ånyo skulle gå in för att tala med honom.
