< Exodus 34 >
1 And he said Yahweh to Moses cut out for yourself two tablets of stone like the former [tablets] and I will write on the tablets the words which they were on the tablets the former which you shattered.
BOEIPA loh Moses taengah, “Namah loh lamhma kah bangla lungto cabael panit saek lamtah te cabael dongah lamhma kah aka rhek cabael dongah aka om ol te ka daek eh.
2 And be prepared to the morning and you will go up in the morning to [the] mountain of Sinai and you will station yourself for me there on [the] top of the mountain.
Mincang ah sikim la om lamtah mincang neh Sinai tlang la ha luei. Te phoeiah tlang lu ah kamah taengla pahoi pai.
3 And anyone not he will go up with you and also anyone may not he be seen on all the mountain also the sheep and the cattle may not they graze to [the] front of the mountain that.
Tedae na taengah hlang ha luei boel saeh lamtah hlang pakhat pataeng tlang tom ah phoe boel saeh. Boiva neh saelhung khaw tlang dan ah he luem uh boel saeh,” a ti nah.
4 And he cut out two tablets of stone like the former [tablets] and he rose early Moses in the morning and he went up to [the] mountain of Sinai just as he had commanded Yahweh him and he took in hand his two tablets of stone.
Te dongah lungto cabael rhoi te lamhma kah bangla a saek. Mincang ah Moses te thoo tih BOEIPA loh amah a uen bangla Sinai tlang ah yoeng. Te vaengah lungto cabael rhoi te a kut dongah a pom.
5 And he came down Yahweh in the cloud and he stood with him there and he proclaimed [the] name of Yahweh.
Te phoeiah BOEIPA te cingmai neh ha rhum tih a taengah pahoi pai. Te vaengah BOEIPA ming neh a doek.
6 And he passed by Yahweh - on face his and he proclaimed Yahweh - Yahweh a God compassionate and gracious long of anger and great of covenant loyalty (and faithfulness - *L(abh)*)
BOEIPA te a hmai ah a pah pah vaengah tah, “Yahweh, Yahweh, thinphoei neh lungvatnah Pathen, thintoek a ueh tih sitlohnah neh oltak dongah boeiping coeng.
7 maintaining covenant loyalty to thousands forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin and certainly not he leaves unpunished visiting - [the] iniquity of parents on [the] children and on [the] children of children on a third generation and on a fourth generation.
Sitlohnah he thawngkhat ham khaw a kueinah dongathaesainah, boekoeknah neh dumlai khaw a phueih pah. Tedae pa rhoek kathaesainah a cawh pah te ca rhoek so neh ca kah ca rhoek soah khongthum khongli hil a hmil rhoe a hmil moenih,” tila tamhoe.
8 And he hurried Moses and he bowed low [the] ground towards and he bowed down.
Te vaengah Moses tah diklai la koe buluk tih bakop.
9 And he said if please I have found favor in view your O Lord let him go please [the] Lord in midst our for [is] a people stiff of neck it and you will forgive iniquity our and sin our and you will take as a possession us.
Tedae Moses loh, “Ka Boeipa aw na mik dongah mikdaithen la ka tueng mai khaming. Ka Boeipa kaimih khui ah pongpa laeh. Pilnam he a rhawn mangkhak sitoe cakhaw kaimih kathaesainah neh kaimih kah tholhnah te khodawkngai lamtah kaimih he m'pang mai,” a ti nah.
10 And he said here! I [am] about to make a covenant before all people your I will do wonders which not they have been created in all the earth and among all the nations and it will see all the people which you [are] in midst its [the] work of Yahweh for [is] awesome it which I [am] about to do with you.
Boeipa loh, “Kai loh na pilnam pum hmai ah paipi ka saii ne. Diklai pum neh namtom boeih taengah a suen pawh khobaerhambae te ka saii ni. Te vaengah a khui kah na pilnam boeih loh BOEIPA kah khoboe te hmuh saeh. Nang taengah ka saii te rhih pai saeh.
11 Observe for yourself [that] which I [am] commanding you this day here I [am] about to drive out from before you the Amorite[s] and the Canaanite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
Tihnin ah nang kang uen te namah ham ngaithuen. Na mikhmuh lamloh, Amori neh Kanaan khaw, Khitti neh Perizzi khaw, Khivee neh Jebusi ka haek ne.
12 Take heed to yourself lest you should make a covenant to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land which you [are] about to go to it lest he should become a snare in midst your.
Namah khaw ngaithuen, khohmuen khosa rhoek neh paipi na saii ve ne. Namah khaw a khuila na kun vetih namah khui ah hlaeh la poeh ve.
13 For altars their you will pull down! and sacred pillars their you will break down! and Asherah poles its you will cut down!
A hmueihtuk te palet pah lamtah a kaam te phaek pah. Anih kah Asherah khaw vung pah.
14 For not you must bow down to a god another for Yahweh [is] jealous name his [is] a God jealous he.
A ming mah thatlai Yahweh coeng tih Pathen tah a thatlai thai dongah pathen tloe taengah bakop boeh.
15 Lest you should make a covenant to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land and they will prostitute themselves - after gods their and they will sacrifice to gods their and someone will invite you and you will eat some of sacrifice his.
A pathen taengkah a cukhalh neh a pathen te a nawn uh dongah a hmueih te caak ham nang n'khue akhaw khohmuen kah khosa taengah moi na bop ve.
16 And you will take some of daughters his for sons your and they will prostitute themselves daughters his after gods their and they will make prostitute [themselves] sons your after gods their.
A canu te na capa ham na lo cakhaw a canu khaw a pathen hnukah cukhalh uh. Te dongah na ca rhoek te amih kah pathen taengah cukhalh hae ni.
17 Gods of molten metal not you must make for yourself.
Mueihlawn pathen khaw namah ham saii boeh.
18 [the] festival of The unleavened bread you will keep seven days you will eat unleavened bread which I commanded you to [the] appointed time of [the] month of Abib for in [the] month of Abib you came out from Egypt.
Nang kang uen bangla vaidamding khotue te hnin rhih yaeh lamtah vaidamding mah ca. Egypt lamloh Abib hla dongah na thoh dongah Abib hla ah tingtunnah om saeh.
19 Every firstborn of a womb [belongs] to me and all livestock your it will be remembered [the] firstborn of an ox and a sheep.
Bung lamkah cacuek boeih, na boiva dongkah vaito neh tu cacuek a tal boeih he kamah kah ni.
20 And [the] firstborn of a donkey you will redeem with a sheep and if not you will redeem [it] and you will break neck its all [the] firstborn of sons your you will redeem and not people will present themselves face my empty.
Tedae laak cacuek tah tu neh lat. Na lat pawt bal atah pahoi at laeh. Na capa caming boeih tah lat lamtah ka mikhmuh ah kuttling la phoe boel saeh.
21 Six days you will labor and on the day seventh you will rest at plowing time and at harvest time you will rest.
Hnin rhuk khuiah thotat lamtah hnin rhih dongah tah lophoh vaengah khaw duem lamtah cangah vaengah khaw nduem.
22 And [the] festival of weeks you will celebrate for yourself [the] first-fruits of [the] harvest of wheat and [the] festival of the ingathering [the] circuit of the year.
Cang dongkah cangah vaengkah thaihcuek khotue yalh neh kum thoknah cangyom khotue te namah ham saii.
23 Three times in the year he will present himself every male your with [the] presence of the lord - Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
Namah khuikah tongpaca boeih tah kum khat ah voei thum Israel Pathen, Boeipa Yahovah mikhmuh ah phoe saeh.
24 For I will dispossess nations from before you and I will enlarge territory your and not he will covet anyone land your when going up you to present yourself with [the] presence of Yahweh God your three times in the year.
Namtom te na mikhmuh lamloh ka haek vetih na khorhi khaw kang aeh ni. BOEIPA na Pathen mikhmuh la kum khat ah voei thum phoe ham na caeh daengah ni na khohmuen te hlang loh ham veet pawt eh.
25 Not you must slaughter with leaven [the] blood of sacrifice my and not it will remain overnight to the morning [the] sacrifice of [the] festival of the passover.
Kai kah hmueih thii te tolrhu neh ngawn boeh. Yoom khotue kah hmueih loh mincang duela rhaeh boel saeh.
26 [the] first of [the] first-fruits of Ground your you will bring [the] house of Yahweh God your not you will boil a kid in [the] milk of mother its.
Na khohmuen kah tanglue thaihcuek te BOEIPA na Pathen im la khuen. Maae ca te a manu suktui neh thong boeh,” a ti nah.
27 And he said Yahweh to Moses write for yourself the words these that on [the] mouth of - the words these I have made with you a covenant and with Israel.
Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Moses te, “He ol he namah ham daek laeh. Kamah ka dongkah ol nen he nang taeng neh Israel taengah paipi ka saii,” a ti nah.
28 And he was there with Yahweh forty day[s] and forty night[s] food not he ate and water not he drank and he wrote on the tablets [the] words of the covenant [the] ten the words.
BOEIPA neh a om vaengah khothaih hni sawmli, khoyin hnin sawmli buh khaw ca pawh, tui khaw o pawh. Te vaengah paipi ol te cabael rhoi dongah ol lung rha la a daek.
29 And it was when came down Moses from [the] mountain of Sinai and [the] two [the] tablets of the testimony [were] in [the] hand of Moses when came down he from the mountain and Moses not he knew that it shone [the] skin of face his because had spoken he with him.
Moses te Sinai tlang lamloh a suntlak vaengah Moses kut dongah olphong cabael rhoi khaw om. Tlang lamloh a suntlak neh amah te a voek pueng dongah a maelhmai vin a phii te khaw Moses loh ming pawh.
30 And he saw Aaron and all [the] people of Israel Moses and there! it shone [the] skin of face his and they were afraid from drawing near to him.
Aaron neh Israel ca boeih loh Moses te a hmuh uh vaengah a maelhmai vin tarha a phii coeng dongah a taengla mop ham a rhih uh.
31 And he summoned them Moses and they returned to him Aaron and all the leaders among the congregation and he spoke Moses to them.
Tedae Moses loh amih te a khue dongah Aaron neh rhaengpuei kah khoboei boeih tah anih taengla mael uh tih Moses loh amih te a voek.
32 And after thus they drew near all [the] people of Israel and he commanded them all that he had spoken Yahweh with him on [the] mountain of Sinai.
Te phoeiah Israel ca rhoek boeih te mop uh. Te vaengah Sinai tlang ah BOEIPA anih taengkah a thui boeih te amih a uen.
33 And he finished Moses from speaking with them and he put over face his a veil.
Moses loh amih taengah a thui te a khah van neh a maelhmai te a lumuekhni neh a dah.
34 And when went Moses before Yahweh to speak with him he removed the veil until came out he and he came out and he spoke to [the] people of Israel [that] which he was commanded.
Tedae BOEIPA amah te voek ham a mikhmuh la kun tih amah ha pawk daengah lumuekhni a lim pueng. Ha pawk phoeiah tah amah a uen te Israel ca rhoek ham a thui pah.
35 And they saw [the] people of Israel [the] face of Moses that it shone [the] skin of [the] face of Moses and he returned Moses the veil over face his until went he to speak with him.
Israel ca rhoek loh Moses maelhmai te a hmuh vaengah Moses kah maelhmai vin a phii pah. Tedae Boeipa amah te voek ham a kun hil Moses loh lumuekhni neh a maelhmai te a dah.
